I do not own.

"I'm bored." Rafael complained. He stared out the window as the rain splattered against the pane.

"Me too." Violeta agreed.

"You know what they say…" Rex looked up from his newpaper. "Bored people are boring people."

"Who says that?" Violeta wrinkled her nose.

"Everyone." Rex answered.

"Is that the same everyone who says if life hands you lemons, make lemonade?" Violeta asked. "Because I hate that person."

"Look, you kids have video games…"

"Played them all." Rafael answered.

"TV?"

"Nothing good on." Violeta moaned.

"Board games?"

"We're already bored." Rafael whined.

"Books?"

"Dad!" Both exclaimed.

"Right, sorry. What was I thinking?" Rex replied.

"You can go clean your rooms." Circe poked her head from the office.

"I'd rather read." Rafael noted.

"Look guys, when I was your age… all right… I don't remember much when I was your age but you guys are so lucky to have all the things you have… so go find something to do. Use your imagination or else I'll find something for you to do… And believe me it will be something Six worthy." Rex threatened.

The children groaned.

"Go!" Rex shooed them.

The kids trudged up the stairs.

"So what do you want to do?" Rafael asked.

"I don't know. What do you want to do?" Violeta countered.

"I don't want to do anything here." Rafael looked at all the things in his room.

"I don't want to do anything in here either." Violeta made a face at her brother's room.

"What about in your room?" Rafael walked to Violeta's room.

"No, you're not allowed in there." Violeta pushed him away.

"How come?" Rafael crossed his arm.

"Because you're just a little kid." Violeta sniffed.

"Am not! MAAAAAA!" Rafael yelled.

"What?" Circe asked from downstairs.

"Violeta called me a baby!"

"I did not! I said you were a little kid… but you sure act like a baby!"

"MAAAA!"

"Don't make me come up there." Circe yelled from downstairs.

"Shut up!" Violeta hissed at Rafael. "You want to end up cleaning your room?"

"I wanna go in your room!" Rafael stomped his feet.

"Well you can't!" Violeta looked around to find something to distract him. "How about we go see what's in the attic?"

"Why would we want to do that? It's dark and dusty up there." Rafael pouted.

"Maybe we can find some antique so we can sell it for lots of money like on that show." Violeta suggested.

"Oh, all right." Rafael conceded reluctantly.

They walked to the end of the hallway. Violeta tried to grab the string attached to the door on the ceiling. She formed her Punk Busters and jumped up to grab the string.

"Violeta! No builds in the house!" Rex called from downstairs.

"Sorry, dad." Violeta answered. She pulled down the ladder. They went up the stairs and pushed open the door.

"Ugh. It's dark and smelly up here." Rafael held his nose.

"That's because we're in the dungeon of an evil…" Violeta stopped at a loss for a villain.

"Dragon?" Rafael supplied.

"Sure. Evil dragon and we have to…" Violeta paused again.

"Oh, oh! How about we need to get the magic sword back!" Rafael said excitedly.

"Okay. There's the sword." She pointed at an old golf club hanging in golf bag in the distance.

"Where's the dragon?" Rafael looked around apprehensively.

"He's sleeping. We have to be super quiet." Violeta whispered.

"And the floor is lava." Rafael jumped onto a box. Violeta jumped onto a chest.

"If the floor is lava, how are we going to get over there?" Violeta asked.

"By jumping." Rafael leapt to another box. But it was unsteady. "Woah!" He tottered around. Violeta made her Smack Hands and pushed him up.

"Thanks." Rafael said with relief. "I almost fell into the lava."

"I have an idea." Violeta picked up cushion next to her and threw it on the ground. "That's a rock. Jump on that."

Rafael hopped on it. A cloud of dust came from it. Rafael sneezed several times.

"Bless you, hermano." Violeta said.

Rafael wiped his nose on his sleeve.

"Eww." Violeta said with disgust.

"What? I don't have a tissue." Rafael sniffled.

"Fine but you can't touch the sword. You have cooties now." Violeta told him.

"Nuh, uh. I do not!" Rafael denied it.

Suddenly, a loud bang made them both jump.

"What was that?" Rafael asked in hush tones.

"I think that was the dragon." Violeta said softly.

Both kids stood stock still. Then there was another banging sound. There were footsteps.

"I think it's coming." Rafael said fearfully.

"Shhh." Violeta shushed him. The footsteps came closer and closer. The kids eyes got bigger and bigger.

"What's going on in there?" Rex's head popped up from the floor.

Both kids screamed.

"The rain's stopped. You can go outside now." Circe told her children.

"Yeah!" Both Rafael and Violeta ran out of the house.

Circe smiled as they put on their rain boots to go splashing in puddles.

She turned to look at her husband who was holding a bag of frozen peas over his eye.

"You told them to use their imagination." She said trying not to laugh.

"What?" Rex asked out loud. He stuck his finger in his ear in an attempt to clear it.

"Your nanites should restore your hearing and take care of that black eye in a few hours." Circe said slowly and loudly.

"Violeta's Smack Hands is getting stronger." Rex yelled.

Circe nodded. "And Rafael's sonic scream is more accurate."

"What?" Rex yelled.

"Nevermind." Circe shook her head. She gave her husband a kiss on the head before going into the kitchen.

Rex looked outside the window to see his children laughing. He smiled. "My babies are growing up." He said proudly before wincing from the pain of smiling.

Married 19 years is a long time. Just saying. Hope this wasn't too boring.
