"it is but I have this feeling like something is going to go bad today, the helicopter was acting up yesterday when I took it for a surveillance run around the property with Logan, three times the engine almost failed, three times we almost died and three times Logan got it started again, I know I promised you three a ride in it but I don't trust it, not now" says Tori
"when was the last time it was tuned up" asks Jade as Tori's mouth drops
"i-i-it's supposed to be tuned up…., I've not even had it a year, I was never told it needed to get check-ups" says Tori
"generally about couple days, I'll have someone come over and check it out, Cassie really wants a fly trip over the water, she loves the water" says Jade
"I feel like an idiot" says Tori as Jade makes the call
2 hours later as Jade's mechanic walks in after having fixed the helicopter
"what's the damage" asks Tori nervously
"clogged fuel line, some damage to the electrical wiring, looks like it was sabotaged, we have made the repairs, it would appear someone made repairs mid flight, is that correct" says Jim Gregory
"Logan Reese, he saved him and I three times during a survey check on the property, mainly to check for squatters, Logan is the head of security" says Tori
"the temporary fixes were quite well done, I was rather impressed, anyway it is safe to fly now" says Jim
"how much do I owe you" says Tori
"two grand, it was a quick fix, we ran the engine and cleared any clogs" says Jim
"two hours is a quick fix" asks Tori writing the cheque
"the time is relative miss Vega, there was no engine damage beyond the wiring mess, had the saboteur been a pro it would have been damaged which would mean we'd have had to take it to our facility in San Francisco, which would have cost way more, luckily Jadelyn here has the shareholder special touch, when she calls we know to bring our stuff, the repairs themselves were rather simple, it was getting to them that was hard, whoever sabotaged it knew how to get into it the easiest but had no idea how to make it completely useless, that is unless their plan was to have you drop from the sky" says Jim
"it's my cousins property, she's doing God's work making medical equipment that is accessible to everyone, there is a group of undesirables that think she's doing the devils work and are trying to kill her, chances are they assumed it was hers" says Cassie
"then let's be happy they were woefully incompetent" says Jim
"you're absolutely certain it's ok to fly" asks Tori handing Jim the cheque
"we checked everything, the panel says everything is ok now, that helicopter is pretty advanced, there aren't many parts of the helicopter the onboard system doesn't check, if the system was tampered with to mitigate checking a specific part it would alert you as such, the only way to damage something where the system wouldn't notice would be to know what systems it doesn't check, trust me if they had that knowledge they'd have done a better job sabotaging it, it looks like they didn't want it to leave the ground, the fact that it did proves just how incompetent they were, Jade said you were taking them up, we can check it after if it makes you feel better" says Jim
"before last week I was only licenced to take one person up, is Jade qualified to fly" says Tori
"I am yes, though I haven't flown in months, how abouts I be your co-pilot, Cass and Trina will only be looking out the window or the floor view panel anyway, Quinn has hired me to acquire a medical evac Helicopter as there are a few people who are in danger, very popular people locked in their houses forcing the hospital to set up portable hospitals in their homes, same reason as Lola, constant media attention, it should arrive tomorrow" says Jade
"ahh yes Lacy and Sabrina, twin superstar musicians, it's about time they called Quinn" says Tori as they get the nod from Jim and head to the helicopter
5 minutes later as they take off
"man that was a smooth take off" says Jade as Tori heads for the water
"she's handling quite well, better than she's handled in two weeks" says Tori

"no, god no, though not for lack of trying, they have too high of public attention for it to have worked, they were injured in a concert bombing last month, all because they donated money to Quinn's medical device research, the media hasn't shut up about it nor have they left them alone, they haven't been allowed to see their significant others since the bombing, both were too close to the bomb when it went off, Dillard Hall is the hospital hall as of yesterday, completely remodelled into a hospital, Quinn is calling it 'the hospital for those who need it', you like what you see Cass" says Tori as the cb radio goes off
Lady Vega, a car bomb went off on the approach to the grounds, they didn't make it to the halls, may the Malibu bomb squad and the firetrucks enter the property – Riley
"yes they can, though keep an eye on them, they are not to go any farther than the wreak, roger" says Tori
Understood, security guard Rick was killed in the blast over – Riley
"notify his family and keep Agent LookAlike in the loop, I'm taking my friends for a ride" says Tori

"absolutely not, if that car has a secondary explosive and it goes off while we're overhead it will kill us, Agent Riley notified me so I'd stay away till it's secure, they're getting more aggressive towards Quinn, their target would be Butler Hall, also known as our home, the target would be either Cat, Newa, Lola or Quinn, Quinn kept the entrance the same so the public wouldn't freak out, this was more than a threat, she won't have a choice but to beef up security and put in road spikes now" says Tori as they reach the water
"what will the public think about you doing this run, there are people on that beach" asks Cass admiring the view
"this helicopter has a special paint job, when in the air it glistens white, Malibu knows that it's my helicopter, LA however doesn't, not the general LA public anyway, enjoy the view, we can't be out here all that long" says Tori
"what if it's not secure to go back in time" asks Trina
"then I head to LAX where Lola, Dana and I's planes are kept, refuel and keep going, rinse and repeat till we can go back, I knew something bad was happening today" says Tori
35 minutes later
"is it secure Lola" asks Tori
The home area wasn't touched, the suicide note said you were the target, my guess is they saw the helicopter leave and detonated, not wanting their boss to know they failed – Lola
"why of all people me" asks Tori landing at LAX
Some sort of conspiracy, FBI presence has tripled around the edges of the property, they're putting up a twelve foot electrified fence and they're replacing the entrance security for a week to make sure there aren't any conspiracy nuts on the security detail – Lola
"can't imagine Quinny being too happy about that" says Cassie

"yes, the man's media posts were all about how the news about the major Trafficking ring that we just stopped was all lies, turns out the nut owned one himself, her name is Naomi, his wife thought he'd adopted Naomi, she was sold to him just over two years ago, we had proof from the list from Huang's home after the Chinese government arrested him, he's set for a public execution tomorrow, anyway when we showed his wife the evidence she turned Naomi over to us, and said 'I only want what's best for her, I thought I was helping', the number of victims is staggering, Newa confirmed the number at over three hundred thousand barely teen girls taken from their home in the past six years, with no close family to return to" says Riley

"that may be but the only way you will be allowed to leave this property is in that helicopter, there is now a secure spot at LAX where you can land to refuel and where you can go shopping after leaving from LAX" says Riley
"eh online shopping is easier, if I were you I'd question Chase Mathews, he's been very very rude to Zoey" says Tori
"oh don't you worry we are, his anger mainly seems to be about feeling like Zoey chose you guys because she assumed he couldn't provide for her because he's geeky and clumsy" says Riley
"trust me it's not that, she actually felt like he'd be a good provider, that was until Robbie proved to be the better choice, her issue was and remains to be how he treated Lola after her and Lola had started dating, he's always been jealous of who Zoey dated but after they started dating he took it to the next level, almost treating Lola as sub human, it really rubbed Zoey the wrong way, Zoey wanted to catch up when he arrived back on the property, he would talk to us, being rude to Lola obviously but the moment Zoey would walk up he'd walk away, it actually really depresses her" says Tori

"Cat's memory issues are deeper than she believed them to be, brain damage like that doesn't just go away, Tori's memory issues stemmed from nutritional problems while in that container which is why they were temporary but that doesn't mean it wasn't real" says Chase
"wait what nutritional issues, we saw the wrappers in that container, there should have been plenty of food for everyone" says Riley
"that may be but Tori has white knight syndrome, at least to a degree, she would have made sure the others had enough food to eat before eating any food herself, Newa and Cat specifically, she doesn't have an evil bone in her body, I honestly can't imagine why people would want her dead anymore than I can understand why people want Quinn dead, both are striving to make America a better place, neither deserve the threats they get" says Chase
