"we've searched every inch of where they were last seen Miss Vega, we can't find any evidence of Carly or Sam" says Carl
"this could be a rogue agent Carl, put yourself in the kidnappers shoes, if you wanted to hide them where would you put them" says Tori
"to be honest I'd probably drown them, I wouldn't want the dead weight" says Carl
"they went missing after a major sex trafficker went to prison Carl, the object is torture not kill and dispose, whoever kidnapped Sam and Carly knew about Steven Shay's position in the government structure, they would also know that Steven would do anything to save his daughter and her girlfriend, the barrier to that is sound" says Tori
"so look for abandoned buildings where sound can be muffled, that leaves just one area of eastern Italy, I'll send out a search team and let you know what we find" says Carl as he hangs up
"you sure this guy is good at his job Tor" asks Cat
"he's the only managerial agent the CIA has in that part of Italy, Steven Shay had him shadow her once Carly and Sam began touring that area of Italy, he saw them get taken but not where they were taken, Carly refused to wear her tracker bracelet and as a result so did Sam" says Tori
"what if they were taken out of Italy, would another agent get involved" asks Zoey
"it would become an international issue so yes another agent would get involved, likely Dana, Lola or I would be sent out, Dana is by far the most thorough agent, Lola is the most publicly likable agent and I'm the most sneaky, I'm sure they'd rather send Ariel but they can't as they can't determine if Patrick's protégé would also come after Ariel" says Tori
"can we all cuddle until we hear something back, it will probably be a few hours" says Robbie
"if only we could, you know where that leads Robbie and I'm on the clock, I'm managing the manager, Steven Shay made sure I was in charge" says Tori

"I do, you might be the only guy I'd ever let bed me but I have to remain focused, Carl is one of the best investigative agents we have in Italy, he's solved four long thought cold missing persons cases in Italy, he just needs a little push because he hates international border cases, the only countries that would work with him are, Spain, France, Germany and Switzerland… Austria and Slovenia have been major blocks to missing persons cases in the area, Spain would send an army if I asked because of my family ties but Carl doesn't have the sway, we can cuddle but that's as far as it goes" says Tori
"fine but you owe me later" says Robbie
"no argument there Robbie, just be careful, you got Cat yesterday and now she's pregnant positive" says Tori
"hey it's not my fault they break, I buy the best brand I can find" says Robbie
"Cat picked that delivery Robbie, she was excited about the added feature not the durability, anyway lets cuddle" says Tori
3 hours later
"miss Vega we found their heat signatures in a building on the outskirts of the border with Slovenia just outside Monfalcone, it's not looking good, I highly suggest Steven comes to get them, we don't have the manpower to storm the building" says Carl
"if the Navy gets involved Slovenia and Austria could declare war, that's the last thing we want because Germany would back them up, Spain or Greece could send a defensive army to back you up but that could still add tension, only Italian troops would be allowed there, the only reason an American agency like the CIA is allowed at all to retrieve them is because Sam and Carly are American citizens, Steven is only there to head a defensive ship against aggressors in the Mediterranean sea, I could make a call to Venice and have troops by your side in half an hour" says Tori
"then please do, they have many guns, neither Carly nor Sam are moving as if they are paralyzed, I don't see us surviving, chances are they're not Italian, guns aren't generally allowed in this sector of the country, as a demilitarized zone and they're packing" says Carl
"ok I'll call them right now" says Tori as she hangs up and calls the Venice guard
"what is it miss Vega Steven is getting antsy" says Guard Cassandra
"we need Italian reinforcements at Monfalcone, they've found Carly and Sam, heat signatures suggest a massive gun cache and my team is not certain they can get them out alive, we don't want to spark an international incident so Steven is to stay in Venice, we can't have US Navy presence, the CIA presence is already causing tension, Austria is poised and ready to defend Slovenia and if Austria gets involved Germany will certainly get involved as well" says Tori
"understood, deploying the guard now" says Cassandra
With Carl 25 minutes later as the Guard arrives
"are you my reinforcements" asks Carl
"we are, Colonel Shay has cleared them to be taken back to America for treatment, he says the code word is Raven Spirit, that's the phrase they know for rescues" says Cassandra
"you look like my boss's girlfriend Catarina Valentine….., anyway it's past the borders of the city, it doesn't show up on maps, we only found it because a local said there is a helicopter pad that was not approved by the local government, it's just south of the E70 directly north of our position" says Carl
"ugh please don't say her name, she's dishonored her family here in Italy by being Poly" says Cassandra
"you don't understand, you need to realize that without her tip about Carly being allergic to a brew common to the area, Steven Shay would have your head for not preventing their kidnapping, I was only directed to shadow them after you failed to protect them, believe me if we fail he will have your head before he goes for mine" says Carl as Cassandra gulps audibly in fear

In the 'abandoned' building 30 minutes later
"well I'm glad they're dead now, as will Steven, I'm almost certain that they were Croatian and attempting to start a war between Italy, Slovenia and Austria over land, this area has never been secure from border disputes" says Cassandra as the CIA bundles a paralyzed Carly and a nearly comatose Samantha in blankets and calls for a boat
"why would they start a war over boundaries that is UN secured" asks Carl
"because Croatia is trying to claim that they were forced to give up ancestral lands to Slovenia, they don't get along, there have been small skirmishes on their borders for years, which is why Steven Shay is stationed here, to limit the impact such skirmishes" says Cassandra
"you should rethink disowning Catarina, she literally saved your skin" says Carl
"believe me I wish I could, the Valentine family was built on honor, I had two secret Swiss boyfriends, my dad ordered them killed for 'tainting' me, which nearly started a war with Switzerland, believe me I tried to defend Catarina, I was part of the Federal royal guard of Rome before I defended Catarina, in my six years of service on the royal guard I got to sit in on UN calls and meetings and made nearly half a million Euro's doing it, now I protect the ports of Venice and Monfalcone and barely make enough to live on, as it stands if Cat ever steps into Italy she's as good as dead, I wish my family cared about loyalty" says Cassandra as they exit the building
"almost dying changes people Cassandra, the hospital was amazed she is alive at all, they say she never should have been able to survive the brain scrambling she got in that container, the container had about a million different cracks by the time it arrived in LA at the Port, by all means none of them should have survived, maybe you should move to LA" says Carl
"what good would I possibly do there, I love Swiss men not American men Carl, Eliyas and Lyam were mine and I don't think anyone could top their energy in bed, they were ultra romantic, no American can top it" says Cassandra

"at the very least come with me to LA, Catarina's terrified that nobody in her family cares about her, as a result even though Tori got a four person marriage permit from a judge Cat told her to sell the rings, that without family support they shouldn't go forward" says Carl
"if that is the case then yes I will leave Italy and follow you, IF I feel something between you and I while I'm there then we can talk, until then Catarina is my focus, her parents used to be tight with Catarina and her brother Ben, Cat puts family above all else" says Cassandra
"you almost refused to say Ben's name, why" says Carl as they get in the evac helicopter
"he's shunned from the family for different reason, when Catarina was little my dad felt he was too touchy feely with her, they are only three or so years apart but that didn't matter to my dad, he was convinced Ben was molesting her, he spread the rumor and the entire family shunned him except for his parents and Cat, then footage came out that he was just keen on helping their parents changing Cat's diaper but the damage had been done, nobody but me believed the tape was real, I'm the only true family Cat has right now, I'm certain her parents will rebound when they find out I'm coming but she NEEDS to cut the rest of the family off, they're a lost cause, there is no convincing them of the truth, they're as bad if not worse than the people that believe every country has a shadow government, how do we plan on getting Carly and Sam to America, they certainly won't let them be flown out at any airport" says Cassandra
"a US Navy ship has been called to Caorle, that area was deemed far enough away, we land on the navy ship and they ship us out to the Strait of Gibraltar where a Navy carrier will accept us and a medical class Jet will take us to LAX where the Pensky medical rescue helicopter will pick us up" says Carl
"that's risky, what kind of medical Jet has the ability to take off from a Navy Carrier" asks Cassandra as they land on the first Navy ship
"the same kind that have rotatable engines, it's designed to evacuate navy ships, it has a patient capability of six, the secondary engines rotate to the ship and go full throttle then the main thrust engines kick in and off it goes" says Carl as Steven Shay knocks on the helicopter door and opens it
"how are they" asks Steven
"Carly's paralyzed and Samantha is basically in a coma, we found drugs" says Cassandra
"why are they covered, were their clothes removed, were they raped" asks Steven
"not the way you're assuming, they tried but only got their tops off, they seemed to have trouble getting their skirts off, their mouths however show evidence of clamps to keep them open, I assure you they're all dead now for such actions, expect to be contacted by the Croatian government, if not feel free to take their actions up with the UN council, as of now I'm no longer employed here, I'm moving to LA to be around Catarina" says Cassandra
"will they be ok" asks Steven
"yes, I believe they were taken as a way to get America to pressure Slovenia into giving Croatia the entire Slovene-Littoral region as they claim they have historical claims to it, Slovenia has been protesting because that move would completely cut them off from the sea, similar to how Germany did to Poland in the beginning of World war two, as for Carly and Sam the drugs will wear off, we've given them the antidotes for the drugs we found on site around them, the problem is how long it might take, we don't know what strength the drugs were, paralysis and coma can happen with even a small dose of the drugs used, if they got a full syringe dose they might never be able to see again, or they might never be able to speak again, we can't know until they're examined, I suggest they never be allowed back into Italy for their own safety" says Cassandra
"I don't plan to let them come back, my own stay here is ending soon, Tori said the kidnapping could be related to Huang's slave trade ending after his arrest and execution" says Steven
"Huang was a force in the area for sure, money grubbing slave seller, he'd threaten anyone who messed with his business so the region has been silent on the matter despite knowing about it for about eight years, they don't want their population to be sold into slavery, now that he's gone they're free to fight again, a world powers influence is greatly needed in the area to keep things cool" says Cassandra
"the French are stepping in for awhile, as are the Spanish, German and even a Norwegian navy ship are on their way, they want to settle these matters, one US navy ship isn't enough, they all know about the kidnapping, none of them are taking it lightly, there will be consequences, concessions will be made in terms of land, the question is how much, it's possible a new country will be formed to keep Italy, Austria and Slovenia away from Croatia and each other, we don't need world war three coming at a time of great financial stress the world over" says Steven
"thank you dad for sending people to save me and Samantha, we didn't think you approved of us dating" says Carly weakly
"you are still my daughter even if I don't approve of Samantha dating you, it is ultimately your decision and I respect that decision, you're an adult now and you are allowed to make your own decisions without my approval or consent" says Steven
"but dad it's my fault we were taken, I'd called a cab to take us from the bar to our hotel, the car arrived way too quickly and said Italy Cab Co, we got in and before we could even get in our hotel name we were gassed, sleeping gas, when we woke up our tops were ruined and we had clamps keeping our mouths open, we'd been planning to have sex that night but that wasn't how we'd planned to have it, why am I so trusting of people" says Carly weakly

"if that happens you'll still have Freddie as an option remember" says Steven
"I feel like even he'd hate me at this point dad, maybe I'm just not meant to be loved" cries Carly as she falls asleep
