"not good, she's convinced that Sam is going to break up with her and that she's maybe not meant to fall in love" says Hanna
"what about Freddie, he said he'd be there for her if her and Sam suddenly stopped working as a couple" asks Spencer
"a Freddie Benson came to see Samantha not Carly" says Nicole
"does he really not care at all about her, the only reason she took up drinking was because of her depression" says Spencer as Carly wakes up
"ugh I thought I told you NOT to come Spencer, you have a business to run, you shouldn't be focused on me" says Carly still weak
"your doctor says Freddie visited Sam but not you, I don't understand why he'd be so rude" says Spencer
"he's afraid of me, Sam will be mad at me, the last time I spoke to Freddie, he bad mouthed me about falling for Sam's tricks so I'd kicked him in the gut region, he promised me that if it didn't work out with Sam that he would love to love me and now he's afraid of me" cries Carly
"there is someone out there for you Carly" says Spencer
"SPENCER you're not getting it, it's either Sam or Freddie, if the answer is neither then there is nobody for me, everyone else just wants to use me because I used to run the most popular web show in the world, it wasn't like that with them, they genuinely cared about Carly the human being not Carly the celebrity… or at least they used to, I'll never be able to sleep without at least one of them, even with meds I'm terrified that if I close my eyes I'll wake up right back there, with men using my mouth as a hole to use and me defenceless to stop them" says Carly weakly
"I will speak to Freddie, given Sam's coma state you need him more than ever right now" says Spencer
"I doubt he will get involved Spencer, not without Sam's consent" says Carly falling asleep again
"are you able to wake Samantha up" asks Spencer walking out of the room with Hanna
"not easily, the drugs coursing through her system are basically keeping her body in a form of coma that reads like sleep but is clearly a coma, honestly hinging on near death, the only thing we can hope is the antidote we've been giving her keeps her alive" says Hanna as Freddie walks over
"is Carly mad" asks Freddie
"no, she's terrified, the last thing Sam said to Carly while in the presence of their kidnappers was something like 'loving you was a mistake', why visit Sam, Carly's the one that's awake" asks Spencer
"Sam and I had an agreement, if at any moment the relationship fell apart between her and Carly, that I'd get a chance with Carly" says Freddie
"why make such an agreement with Sam, Carly says all you did was try and convince her that Sam was playing tricks on her" says Spencer
"Sam WAS, she was trying to extend the relationship as long as possible to make me renege on the deal her and I made, we both knew Carly was crushing on us both by the end of the web show when her father came and took her to Italy, Carly was never the type to accept two people into her life, she's a one and done girl, as much as Sam tries to tolerate Carly's over trusting nature it just makes her angry because it often gets Carly in trouble and Sam always gets blamed for it because she's the one with the record, if Sam did indeed yell at Carly saying loving Carly was a mistake then she means it, Sam may have been a delinquent but when it comes to Carly Sam wouldn't make Carly sad unless she was absolutely angry about it, me I find Carly's good faith in others cute, we need more people like her in this world, Sam had actually texted me before after they'd gotten drunk but before they were kidnapped that Sam was done with Carly, that she couldn't take it anymore, I was visiting Sam to tell her that I was ready to take her place, I'd heard that people in a coma can hear things" says Freddie
"not in this case Freddie, she's not responding to the antidote to the drugs we identified in her system, if her condition doesn't improve we will have to consider life support, as for Carly her paralysis if it doesn't get resolved will make it so she can't ever walk again, this could drastically change Carly, my little sister Nicole loved that web show, she loved how energetic and cool Carly was, she's the attendee to patients like Carly, she's already seeing a change in Carly's demeanor" says Hanna
"what kind of change, could it be related to the drugs she was given by those evil men" asks Freddie
"I'm afraid not, Nicole says it's like those kidnappers killed the old Carly and replaced her with a fake one, she says Carly is losing all hope, if you want to take over then go see Carly right now and sit by her side" says Hanna
"I will but please keep me informed of Sam's health, her stupid mother disowned her so Carly and I are really her only family" says Freddie as he goes to sit by Carly's side
"he seemed genuinely concerned" says Hanna
"that's Freddie through and through, at first Carly was creeped out by it, only near the end did she realize his feelings were genuine, that the only people for her are Sam or Freddie, the fear runs deep through Carly, that much is clear" says Spencer
"I'm getting the feeling her PTSD wasn't initially caused by what happened, she explained what she experienced or remembered that she experienced very clearly, it sounds trained" says Hanna
"not the way you're implying, our mother died when Carly was really young, it flipped her world upside down, she was convinced our father would remarry and bring someone into the family she couldn't trust, she's already been to a therapist for that, back when she was little, shortly after our father shipped out on some sort of mission, a mission he's been on ever since, it sounds coached because that's the only way she could get herself to explain it, in a calm and very specific manner, I guarantee that if she hadn't fallen back asleep she'd be bawling her eyes out because in saying what happened she accepted that it happened, everyone in our family here thinks they know what's best for her, they never truly believed I knew how to take care of her, Carly was the only one with complete trust in me, even if I always messed up something daily, she'd always find a reason to laugh, the Carly in there is one that has accepted that bad things will always happen to her, I don't know if Freddie is enough to get her to smile, I'd suggest she try polyamory but I know she'd slap me if she could, like Freddie said, Carly is and always has been a one and done girl" says Spencer

"isn't code blue bad" asks Spencer
"she has a tube in her throat, there wouldn't be a code blue if she wasn't awake" says Hanna as they head to Sam's room
"what code would it be if she were dying" asks Spencer
"we use code white for that, hey Sam how are you" says Hanna removing the breathing tube
"ugh that hurts can't you guys come up with nicer coma tubing" says Sam avoiding the last part of the question
"did you mean to send Freddie the text about you having had enough of Carly, did you mean to say loving her was a mistake" asks Spencer
"look loving her wasn't what I thought it would be, most of the time I was saving her from accidentally doing the bad drugs, she sees a white powder in a bag being sold by some guy and she instantly thinks sugar, it's like she felt she had to seriously dumb herself down for me because the things she's seriously interested in bore me, she was always teasing me about sex, about wanting to try it then she'd always backed down and tried to convince me she didn't say any of that, I'm aromantic, she was always getting that confused with asexual, the night we were kidnapped she'd finally agreed to make love, that's why we'd even been out at a bar, she said she wanted to get blind drunk first so her fear about her first time wouldn't be a factor, I was so drunk I didn't notice the cab was a fake either" says Sam
"you showed evidence of rape but Carly doesn't, that seems odd to me, they had you both tied up but they only raped you, it doesn't make sense" says Hanna
"I begged them to leave her alone, to use me, as much as I hated being raped and hated how Carly always got me into trouble while we were together I will always protect her, I didn't want her first time having sex to be rape, they used her mouth even though I begged them not to, I had to come to terms that her mouth was better than them ravaging her down there, stealing the first time from Freddie was never my goal, she talked about him all the time I just hope she doesn't hate me for ending it the way I did" says Sam

"how long were you in a coma in Italy for before the CIA team arrived" asks Hanna
"a few minutes I think, I wasn't in a deep coma, I was in and out of one as the drugs they injected into me took effect, the whole breakup thing happened maybe an hour before I was wrapped in a blanket, probably less than an hour, the last thing I remember was hearing gunshots and seeing the evil men drop, their belts still off, after that I could only hear things, then even that failed, then I woke up here with that thing down my throat" says Sam
"do you remember anything before that" asks Spencer
"Tori's name being thrown around like a dagger they're all trying to avoid" says Sam as Tori walks in
"you did well nugget, you deserve someone who can make you happy, you can do that here, you will have a bedroom on this property, you can order any food you want and have it delivered" says Tori

"no, she was hired by Carl to keep tabs on Carly, it helped that they were dating so Sam had a keen interest in making sure Carly was safe, both Carl and I got a pay raise for getting you both home safe, as a result you are free to live here once a doctor or nurse clears you to leave this quaint hospital" says Tori
"I just wish I'd done a better job of protecting Carly, I shouldn't have gotten drunk, I should have ordered fizzy water and lied to Carly about what I was drinking" says Sam
"protecting Carly was never your job Sam, that was Cassandra's and she failed miserably Samantha, what happened wasn't your fault, reports indicate you guys weren't the first to be disappeared, just the first high profile ones, young women were kidnapped in broad daylight in front of other people, nobody called fowl on the bogus Cab company car, getting kidnapped likely wasn't avoidable Sam, they pick their targets and don't stop till they get them, they'd likely been stalking you and Carly for weeks" says Tori
"that makes me feel a little better but really only very little, I should have noticed we were creating a pattern, the base isn't gay friendly so we'd go explore northern Italy, get a hotel then go on a date and return to the hotel to make out, she's borderline autistic, the only visible trait anyone would notice in public is her need for routine, when we were in San Diego and doing the web show, that was the routine, anything we did in the webshow had to be approved by her, hence why it had recurring segments" says Sam
"how long had you actually been dating Carly" asks Spencer
"on and off for a few years, we'd started about a year or so before the web show, it made us happy but it also made Carly nervous, her dad's Navy and usually those kinds of people don't support girls dating, so we dated in secret, she'd date a boy every so often to make herself look straight, granted she IS bisexual but still, then in Italy she hit a depression spike and Mr. Shay called me and had me flown out, she'd only made it nine months in Italy alone, Cat and I had only just started the babysitting service a few months prior when I got the call, I hated to leave Cat high and dry like that but she said she understood and she'd shut it down, which is sad because we were just starting to make some real money" says Sam
"ahh yes Sam and Cat's babysitting service, that explains the memory loops which have stopped as fast as they started, she's pregnant by the way" says Tori
"is she happy about it, I remember her telling me one time that she'd never have kids" asks Sam
"she is happy about it, we all are, she said things like that because she believes that CPS would get involved because of her being Bipolar and take her kids away, she was sad till Zoey got a sworn statement from CPS stating that as long as it isn't just Cat looking after the child they won't get involved" says Tori
"so this is like the only scenario where being Poly actually makes sense then" says Sam
"in a way yes, I have authority given to me by a judge to marry all three of them, we all have small issues that would be devastating if we were alone or with one person, I've learned that I do in fact have PTSD though from what nobody can figure out, not even my therapist, the one thing they've figured out is that it's not from being kidnapped and put in that container and shipped here and nearly killed several times by the waves" says Tori
"really because that would have been my first guess" says Spencer
"I was on the clock, my therapist says it didn't phase me because I was making sure everyone else was safe, sure I had minor memory problems because my head slammed on the container but Cat's was way worse, it's almost been a year now and she's still recovering, it's estimated to last through her pregnancy and a few months after, there are moments where she will just freeze after a news story and not remember anything, there is no pulling her out of these memory loops, the only thing we're happy about regarding them is they haven't happened while we're making love" says Tori
"they are likely caused by Carly's pen pal letters, Carly has a massive imagination when it comes to writing, Steven has said that she created a memory bond with Cat, an alternate reality if you will" says Sam
"what are you suggesting exactly" asks Tori
"Carly had gone through the same thing last year, they lasted maybe half an hour, always after a seemingly random story came on the news, then she'd manage to show me a pen pal letter she'd copied before sending it to Cat, the stories that have been coming out this past year, they are eerily similar to a story of fiction Carly and Cat created, sex trafficking and kidnappings were prominent in the stories they created together, they had fashioned themselves heroes and before you ask YES in this fiction she was very active with Freddie, kept me out of it completely" says Sam
"oh my god, that makes sense, there have been stories about people making things a reality by focusing hard on it and writing it down, silver tongues they're called" says Tori
"why does it seem like you're setting yourself up to be out of Carly's life, that doesn't seem fair Sam" says Spencer
"I don't have a choice, I had to save Cat from a mean man that wanted to 'date' Cat, I had to destroy his car and break his arm to do so, the only reason I haven't been in jail is because Steven sent a request for me to be sent to Italy to be with Carly to help get her out of that depression, they wouldn't dare overrule a navy Colonel, now that I'm back I have to serve at least two years in a maximum security prison" says Sam
"that seems oddly like an over reach of the justice system" says Tori
"dude was an undercover cop, the morality of my actions don't factor in apparently, I'd never ask anyone to risk their jobs for me" says Sam
"none of us have to Sam, her father Frank Valentine worked for the CIA as a prosecutor up until last month, the CIA can have the judge dismiss the aggression side of the case because you were protecting Cat, you will still be charged with destruction of property though the assault will be justified, your purchases will be monitored by an agent, you will have to have someone fetch your orders when they come to the property and you will likely have to wear an ankle monitor for two years but you won't be going to jail" says Tori
"you can guarantee that" asks Sam
"in a way yes, I can guarantee that will be the MINIMUM asked of you, they may require more, most likely you will be asked to live with someone, you protected Cat and attempted to protect and shield Carly, both Frank and Steven are outside contractors for the CIA and are protected under federal law, their children are protected also, you, a person expecting nothing in return saved Cat and attempted to save Carly, the CIA won't take that lightly, they will protect you from incarceration but will expect silence from you on why you got off lightly" says Tori
"so what I'd have to live with Carly and Freddie or something" asks Cat
"that would require permission from Carly, more likely you will be living with Dana Cruz" says Tori
"oh I'm sure Dana would love that" jokes Nicole
"as jokey as that comment was Nicole it's her job as an agent, if she gets paid to keep an eye on Sam she will do it" says Tori
