"no, Steven, Carly and a few other people on base have seen them, I used to say a particular characters name and a shadow would pop up and Carly's face would turn white" says Sam

"I've defied orders before, the LAPD won't have me fired from the CIA, they don't have the jurisdiction anyway and neither does that judge, only the CIA director can fire me, even then the California Governor might try and save my job, though I suppose you have a point about me not having a choice, they'd notice if it wasn't activated, you sure you don't mind, it might be a smidge tight" says Tori

"you misunderstand how that works, I can not choose what characters come out Samantha and I can't put them back, the only control I have is in making sure I don't write anything bad" says Carly

"i didn't write him Samantha, Cat did, she wanted someone who would crush corruption in all its forms, we can't control them once they're out in the real world" says Carly signaling for Freddie to roll her back to their room

"she created Ariel, Agent Riley's 'perfect' agent, Cat's silvery tongue provides a more focused result, Ariel was her last written creation, she quit after that" says Carly

"yes she has a soul, she does have free will but the problem resides in the last question, Cat broke the last rule of creation, Cat was so focused on creating what she believed was the perfect agent/spy that she forgot about love, she never wrote in a happy ending for Ariel, she has no purpose beyond what Cat gave her" says Carly
"so what happens to Ariel" asks Tori
"we have no idea, the obvious option would be death but we never explored any further, Cat never fixed Ariel's timeline" says Carly
"so Ariel will die" says Tori
"or she could live to be three hundred years old, Cat's creations have a more focused purpose than mine, mine die after three years, the judge was written with a whole family and all the qualifications to be a judge, Ariel was a creation that was born, that's harder to do than you think, it requires higher intentions, Cat created her to end rape culture" says Carly

"it only pings a location, it doesn't give any information about anything Sam is doing in your area of Hailey Hall, just that she's there, the court knows you're friends, it won't seem out of place" says Tori

"if Tori is protecting you it's as if the CIA is protecting you, she is top of her class, she has proven again and again that people's lives come before the mission, while not generally what we DO at the CIA, she has the support of the president and the director, her word is as good if not better than my word, we will keep your relationship status a secret Carly" says Riley
