Rules of Survival
1. If the forest goes completely silent, don't panic… Slowly turn around and walk back out the way you came
2. Don't trust seemingly innocuous deer trails. Chances are they're booby trapped.
3. If you hear a strange noise, don't just survey the area around you, check up in the trees as well
4. Chances are those disconcerting popping sounds were not caused by someone simply stepping on twigs or breaking branches… Again don't panic… Running won't do you much good, just keep walking in a calm manner until you can properly exit the forest
5. If you see strange drawings tacked to the trees, don't touch or even acknowledge them at all… Same goes for anything else that seems out of place
6. There's an old burned out RV, if you found it then congrats, you've made it to a safe zone. You can rest there
7. Avoid the cabins and seemingly abandoned campsites at all costs
8. Stay vigilant at all times
9. If you find yourself lost or stranded, stay awake as long as possible, keep moving if you can, and whatever you do, don't build a fire
10. Most importantly, above all else, trust absolutely no one. Even if they're dressed like a park ranger, chances are they work for him as well and could prove detrimental to your overall well being and survival
Bonus Rules:
1. Thank your host upon exiting. Thank him for permitting you to stay in his forest and allowing you to leave alive. He responds well to those with good manners and greatly appreciates the sentiment
2. Leave an offering of sorts… Snacks, toys, games, books, warm fuzzy blankets, and jigsaw puzzles are all acceptable as well as art supplies
