Chapter 3

(The...sound i..is it mine...is it yours...it...feels so warm...i...its definitely male...yet...so weak...I..its breath is making my arm wet...w...whats under...it...whats under its soft flesh). Legoshis thoughts continued to wonder as his instincts continued to sway his judgement and actions as his head turned slightly as another form darted away from him into the mist as his gaze yet again focused on what he had in his clutches.

Our human could feel the grip tightening further around him as he let out a whimper of fear. The strong grip of the wolf continued to hold him in its clutches as Legoshis instincts drove his thoughts into darker places. (What..should I do...what..should I do..should i...how satisfying i..it would feel in my mouth the warm flesh...m...my hands... won't stop)

The wolfs heart began to beat faster his pulse quickening as his ears twitched his claws wrapping themselves around the human's arm. (That's how it should be) a dark presence let itself known as the wolfs pupils shrank to pinpricks as they darted around in fear. (You have struggled...your entire life...and now you have reached your limit...) The wolfs eyes focused on a shimmering dark mass of glitching lines as it began to approach the crouched lupine.

(Go away...s...stop) Legoshi desperately thought as the figure continued to whisper sweet nothings to the wolf. (You've suppressed your feelings...ever since you where a kid...and you lived quietly in the darkness...haven't you) it questioned as his lupine heart continued to beat deeply in his chest. (Is that sadness your feeling...or is it frustration).

Legoshi began to shake as his instincts continued to overtake his mind. ( S...stop) he pleaded yet it continued. (Its neither...you feel joy from the bottom of your heart). (N...no stop...stop). He continued to plead as a pair of eyes manifested themselves in front of him. (Look at me...FACE YOURSELF DONT LOOK AWAY...IM GROWING BIGGER...CAN YOU SEE) The sound of animalistic growling was now emanating from the figure as Legoshi shut his eyes tightly.

(I...i won't look go...away) the growling only continued to get louder as its shadow now loomed over the wolfs form. ( I know you're ready...the fun part is just starting) Legoshi could now see the form of the figure clearly...it was...a w..wolf like h..him. (Urrrgghhhh...all it takes is one bite) it snarled as Legoshi kept his eyes locked shut tightly (Gah...damn it...I can't) he defied as the shadow wolf began to caress Legsohis form with its large clawed paws.

(You longed for this taste...for seventeen years...) As it said this the shadow wolf began to seep into the crouched Legoshi as its thoughts became his. (Look...stop...j..just end my misery urggghh rrrgghhh...) Legoshi after his struggle had finally given into his Carnivorous instincts. (GIVE IT...TO ME GAAAARRRGGGHHH ILL EAT YOU...ILL EAT YOU...ILL EAT YOU ARRGGHHHH). His claws now dug into our human's arm piercing his sleaves and sinking into his flesh as warm blood began to flow from the teen's arm.

Legoshi grits his sharp fangs together as his lupine muzzle begins to open revealing his array of sharp-pointed K9s as he raised his head redying the swift powerful bite to the Teens throat..."LEGOSHI". A cry of his name snapped the Wolf out of his instinct induced thought as he heard fast approaching footsteps.

"P..pleae help me" The frantic call of Zoe the goat gave our human enough time to try and free himself from the wolfs clutches. A sickening rip was heard as the human broke free from the lupines clutches gaining four deep claw marks to his arm as they began to immediately bleed as he fled away into the misty darkness clutching his arm tightly to flow the stem of blood.

Legoshi watched as the mammal ran away his scent fading off into the darkness and thick mist. The wolf continued to gaze in the direction the mammal had fled as the lupines ears lowered pinning themselves to his head in shame as his gaze softened and became melancholy. The lupine stood up from his crouched position as he turned to see what had happened to cause Zoe to come running out.

"God...oh my god...i...shit...i..i.." our human clutching his fresh bleeding wound staggered as he ran blindly through the darkness his heart beating out of his chest...fear prominent in his mind as his face wretched in pain. Looking over his shoulder the teen expected to see the glowing demonic eyes of the creature as it stalked its prey readying the final blow to end his life. As the teen was gazing behind him he failed to spot the shadow of a figure in front of him as the teen collided headfirst as they both crashed to the floor.

The teen cried out as he landed onto his clawed arm, spikes of pure horrible pain coursing through his body as he began to crawl away from whatever or whoever he had collided with. His thoughts back to the creature that had attacked him he began to panic and shake in terror. "S...stay away from me...stay back i..i..im..w..warning you". As the teen continued to back away the figure that he collided with murmured a small but noticeable whine of pain as he pushed himself back up into a standing position.

Our human continued to crawl away until his back came into contact with a tree stopping him from gaining any more distance from the figure as tears streamed down his face. "P..please...d...dont...kill...me i...i don't want to...d..die..i...dont want...i.." . The figure turned towards the trembling human as it made its way over this only seemed to make the teen more scared as he continued to shake uncontrollably...

"Hey...you ok there". A soft and happy sounding voice broke our human out of his trembling as he looked up at what seemed to be a hand extended in a gesture of help. Rubbing at his eyes with his uninjured arm his vision began to clear as his eyes began to focus on the mammal in front of him. Drying the tears from his eyes they focused on a Brown-eyed golden furred labrador whose muzzle was pulled back in a kind smile his eyes seeming to shine with a deep sense of care.

The teen continued to stare at the extended furred hand in front of him as he slowly raised his own hand meeting the Labradors one as he grasped it firmly as the K9 pulled the human up onto his feet with a grunt. "There we go...uhh...I'm sorry and I um..don't want to seem rude...but what exactly are you?" The Labrador questioned the teen inquisitively as the human stood there silently his mind still trying to process everything that had happened in the last couple of hours.

The human placed a hand to his temple trying to suppress more thoughts and emotions and the arrival of a headache did not help at all as he let out a sigh and smiled slightly at the K9 his words still shaky and unsure. "I...im a... ..uhhh..heh...um" the teen replied his gaze looking down at the floor hand still clutching his bleeding arm as the Labrador finally took notice of the Humans state of being as his tail bushed out.

"Oh...oh my...w..what happened to you..you need a doctor you need..." The Labrador was suddenly cut off from his rant as the human began to slowly walk away from him. "H...hey where do you think you are going...you need serious help" The Labrador quickly ran over to the Teen as he placed a paw under his arm in support his fur brushing against the teen's wounds and slightly coating his golden fur in crimson red.

The human glanced to the concerned face of the Labrador as he smiled weakly and nodded his head in thanks as the K9 helped him. "Hehe..m..my hero...could... I possibly get the name of my knight in shining armour" He chuckled slightly as his vision began to dim as the blood loss was taking its toll. "Huh...uh...the names Jack" The Labrador chuckles slightly at the pun as he stares down at the weary eyes of the human.

The teen's eyes continued to dip as his vision became more and more faded as he reached one of his hands up towards the Labradors head. Jack looked at the Humans appendage as it came closer to his head the K9 instinctively moving his head to the side to avoid the contact "Uh...wh..what are you doing" the K9 questioned as the human's hand came into contact with his soft furred head.

"whose..a.g..good boy" the human mumbled as he rubbed his hand against the K9s fur like he would a pet. Jack stopped suddenly his expression going blank as his tail bushed out and his pupils shrank as he felt the Teens hand rub his head gently. All of sudden the human's body went lax as he finally passed out his vision going dark as he slumped against Jacks body.

The Labrador reacted swiftly clutching him tightly to stop the human from falling to the floor as the K9 stood looking down at the teens face. Jacks face still bore one of confusion as he lowered the unconscious human to the ground below as he took out his mobile phone and dialled the school's nurse as the K9 began to ponder what had happened.

(Why...did he stroke my h..head) he thought not noticing his tail begin to slightly wag (A..and ..why did I enjoy it so much) with these thoughts drifting through his mind he waited for the nurse to arrive and help him with the teen's Unconscious body...

As Legoshi entered the theatre he could smell the scent of Louis as he approached the Deers hunched over form. "You ok" he questioned seeing Louis "Its nothing" the Deer replied harshly as Zoe Bleated uncertainly gaining the wolfs attention. "Um...he was trying to save me...it was dark...he was trying to save me" The goat spoke as he told the wolf the incident that occurred mere minutes ago.

As they were rehearsing there lines the goat was reading his out loud to the deer that was until he missed his footing as he let out a startled gasp his body tumbling over. Louis reacted quickly to this rushing forward as he wrapped his arms around the goat's body as he took the impact of the fall...

"L..Louis...if you can't perform anymore... I don't know what I will do" Zoe lowered his head his ears splayed back in shame displaying his mood perfectly as Legoshi looked glanced at the Sad herbivore. "This isn't about you" Louis's voice echoed across the theatre as he shook his head. "I'll be fine by tomorrow...its just a little sore now...Legoshi..gimme a hand would ya" the deer extended his arm in a gesture of help as the Lupine leant by his side.

"Thank you for being the lookout" Louis spoke as his gaze met Legoshis the lupine nodding slightly as the deer rested a hand on the wolfs shoulder. "Anything happen out there?" he questioned as Legoshis face fell in shame as he looked away from Louis stuttering slightly as he secretively wiped the crimson blood staining his claws onto the back of his trouser leg as he looked back at the deer.

(The bathroom)

Legoshi stared into the sink watching the blood swirl with the warm water as it disappeared into the sinkhole the lupine sighed tiredly turning to grab some paper towels to dry his hands. Binning the used towels he turned to the mirror as his mouth opened agape in fear as he looked into the mirror's reflection.

A glitching mass of shadows in the form of himself teeth bared and eyes glowing a blood-red was present as Legoshi swiftly punched the reflection shattering the illusion. The now cracked glass revelled the tired and worn wolf as he turned away and headed back to his room tail tucked between his legs.

Legoshis face was solemn and downtrodden...tired and dreary as he stood in the Dining hall as his group of roommates from 701 surrounded him as they approached the Menu looking at what they would be served for breakfast this morning. "Let's see...Today's carnivore breakfast...bread scrambled eggs and Bean steak" Miguno a spotted hyena read out as a chorus of happy pleas and smiles of satisfaction where received from the group...all apart from Legoshi.

The sounds of animals of all shapes and sizes conversed over there food about there day to day lives studying at Cherryton High as the animals of room 701 headed up to grab their Breakfast. As Legoshi grabbed his food he followed the group looking for a place to sit. "Whoa...s..sorry..go-ahead" Miguno spoke shakily as the group leaned over there seats to see that the Hyena had almost stepped on a small mammal as she nodded and let out a stuttering reply. "Oh..uh.. you".

Placing his tray of food down on the table Miguno joined the rest of the group at the table."That was close... I was just about to step on one of those small girls over there... I seriously need to get Glasses". As the hyena turned towards the Lupine and began to ask him about how he had said Miguno would look great with glasses. Yet all the Wolfs thoughts were focused on the tray of food in front of him as he began thinking.

(I can't eat this... I can still feel the sensation from last night...i...dont want to touch anything soft).Legoshis gaze continued staring down at his food as his thoughts drifted. "You bastard what's the deal..." The group's attention was immediately drawn to a dispute between a Fox and a Wild dog. Their argument drew the attention of most in the cafeteria as they gazed on in worry.

"you realise you've been stepping on my tail this whole time right" The wild dog shook the vulpines shoulders his face an angry scowl. "I said I was sorry what more do you want" replied the vulpine as the Wild dog seemed to become more agitated. "But you laughed when you said it like the whole thing was funny you damn fox" he growled as his eyes glared hatefully at the vulpine. "Look at all those lines on your face little too much stress".

This seemed to be the final straw as the K9 quickly lunged forward with an animalistic growl his muzzle open revealing sharp-pointed incisors as screams rang out in fear. "Dammit" the Fox cried out as the K9s teeth dug into his arm as the vulpine tried to shake him off "Did you just bite me..you know what's gonna happen now". The two rolled around on the floor both struggling against the other as savage growling continued to echo through the cafeteria as Legoshis heart began to beat faster.

"Hey..let go" the vulpine angrily yelled only for the K9 to bite harder a muffled shut up escaping from his muzzle. Legoshi watched on in a state of shock as his mind began to flash the events of what happened last night through his mind. The creature he caught...the lust for blood...to devour it...to EAT IT...The voice pushing him closer to doing the deed as his pulse and heart.

"ENOUGH..." The gazes of most if not all fo the students were now focused on the lupine as the two fighting mammals ceased there fight. Noticing that all eyes were on him Legoshi quickly covered his muzzle with a paw as Jack looked at his friend with a worried expression."What the heck is up with you Legoshi seriously". The vulpine his gaze now locked on the wolf got up and began to approach the lupine.

"Who are you yelling at" The fox spoke as he continued to approach Legoshi. "Did you think you could beat me because you're bigger?" the Fox said as Legoshi raised his hands and shook them "N..no way..you got it all wrong".

The lupine began to think of ways to lose to the fox who was talking about biting his neck. Yet before the lupine could form a plan someone spoke up "Oh come on..being a carnivore isn't so easy either". Louis made his way down to the two mammals as cries of we love you followed him as he approached the two with a confident step.

"They're not always lucky enough to have both personality and fighting strength," He said calmly. "Well well if it isn't Louis himself the superstar rich kid" The vulpine mocked as he glared at the Red deer. "Exposing your fangs in public is considered bad manners" Louis spoke tone lowering slightly as he kept his gaze firmly set on the vulpine.

"Heh.. you're in a bit of a tough sot yourself..if you really want the net title of Beastar you need to work on gaining popularity". Louis raised his head slightly as he spoke to the Fox "Have you ever thought about the actual reason why we need the Beastar in our world...instead of me just worry about yourself".

With that said the rest of the crowd began to speak up as they told the Fox and K9 to leave as the two looked around in shock and anger. "Hey come on let's go," the Wild dog said to the vulpine "Impressive...you spin everything so you come out on top" With that said the K9 pulled the Fox away from Louis as they began to leave the area...

(Meanwhile in the nurses' room) Our human began to stir as his eyes twitched slowly opening as they took in the room he was currently situated in. He groaned slightly as his body ached in protest as he tried to move yet his body didn't respond.

"Ughhh why body...j..just cooperate with me...please". The teen pleaded as his vision began to fade once more as he let out a tired groan body once again slipping into the state of unconsciousness.
