Chapter 7

Legoshi quickly dashed away from the gardening club as he descended a flight of stairs as he came to a halt panting deeply his tail tucked behind his legs. Looking himself over Legoshis mind was on what had just happened. " Legoshi" the lupine turned to see Mark making his way over "Sorry about earlier," he said as he looked up at Legoshi. "Heh I was waiting for you to come back," Mark said with a slight chuckle as Legoshi looked down at him his gaze questioning. "Hey, why did you leave me like that," The lupine said as he was suddenly pushed back by mark as the Anteaters gaze hardened "Never mind that...did anything happen".

Legoshi raised an eyebrow at Marks question "Hmm of course not...not really". Mark relented and let go of Legoshi as he turned down the corridor The two mammals making there way back to the Drama block. "I see well that's a relief" Legoshi turned his head slightly to mark as they continued on there way. "Hmm" the lupines expression one of confusion as Mark smiled up at him.

"You were jumping down four steps at a time, so I thought something bad happened". The wolf inclined his head his nose twitching as his left ear flicked. "Something bad like...what". Mark suddenly pushed the wolf to the side of the corridor as Legoshi let out a startled gasp as Mark held firm.

"Apparently...this is a pretty well know rumour among the herbivores, The talk around the school is that she the Garding club girl is... you know". Legoshi looked confused as Mark sighed. " She has been with a lot of Guys Leg...shes basically a slut". The lupines ears lowered and his eyes became sad almost faded as his body drooped.

Marks tone of voice quivered slightly as he gazed up at the wolf "shes a lot of trouble dude so stay away from her even though, it's disappointing, right?". Legoshis face was like a blank slate no expressions being shown on his muzzle. " I mean come on she seems so innocent, looks it to but I guess she would never attempt to seduce someone of your species...Right...Legoshi?". The tapir tried to snap the wolf out of his thoughts as he waved a hand in front of the lupine. This seemed to work as Legoshi blinked down at Mark.

Sighing Mark nudged Legoshi slightly " So did you get those roses...hey Legoshi...". Yet again Legoshi had drifted to Hauru how she cared deeply for here flowers, caring for them all by herself. "Its ok Mark...ill talk to the others ill figure out somewhere else to get the roses" the tapir turned his head as the wolf began to walk away down the hall. " Mark...there may be a lot of rumours out there...but I think that she is a good person...ill see you tomorrow...

(Back at the Nurses room)

Forrest sat down in a chair that the teen had moved to the window as he gazed longingly outside at the setting sun, the sky a fiery red and orange. He sighed resting his head in his hands, memories of sunsets long past running in his head. "Hey, Forrest" the teen turned to see Jack standing with a glass of water in one hand and a container of pills in the other.

"It's about time you took these you know," the golden Labrador said as he approached the teen who chuckled softly as he placed a hand over his brow leaning back slightly in his seat. "Oh fair Jack thou soul is as pure as silver how can thee be so generous" Forrest spoke with a Shakespearean tone. A sudden faint laugh was heard as Forrest looked at Jack as the Labrador held his muzzle shut, trying in vain to hold in the laughter that was bubbling up inside.

Seeing this Forrest smirked as he got up from the seat grabbing the water and tablets from the K9 as he leaned in slightly. "Thank thou" this was the last straw for the golden Labrador as he let loose the laughter that he tried so hard to hold in. Seeing Jack this way Forrest smiled happily as he quickly popped open the lid to the pills, shaking two into his palm he placed them into his mouth and swallowed. Reaching over he grabbed the glass of water leaning back and enjoying the show as he took a sip.

Jacks laughter began to die down as he took deep breaths calming himself as the teen watched on a smirk plastered on his face as the Labrador wiped a tear from his eye. "Hehe thanks for that Forrest, I needed that" Jack replied with a happy smile, his tail still wagging behind him as the teen took notice. "I can tell Jack I mean look at your tail".

The K9 turned around to see his tail swishing back and forth quickly as he blushed looking away from the teen shyly. Forrest chuckled at Jack as he placed the glass of water down and approached the K9, who continued to look away as he shuffled nervously. "What's wrong Jack hmm, ashamed that you're adorable" the teen joked as Jacks ears twitched at the mention of him being cute.

"What n..no course, not Forrest" Jack stuttered a reply back as he continued to shuffle Nervously until the teen wrapped his arms around the K9 in a hug. "It's ok Jack I was joking you know" (Even if it's true) the teen thought as he released the Labrador from the Hug, Jack's head was still turned a blush present on his face. The teen used his hand to gently turn the Labradors head to face him as their eyes locked.

"Jack you are an amazing person, from the little time I have known you I can safely say that you are a genuinely compassionate person. And someone who cares deeply about his friends and others" Forrest smiled warmly at Jack as the teen began to turn and head back to have another sip from the glass of water. This was suddenly interrupted as the teen felt a pair of Golden furred arms wrap themselves around him. as he gazed at the Labrador who had nuzzled into the teen's chest small whimpers escaping the K9s muzzle.

"Thank you...thank you so much, Forrest i..i..." The human just wrapped his hands around the K9 as the two held each other in a tight embrace. "Hehe its ok Jack, I'm the one who should be thankful I'm indebted to you for helping me out you know...". The K9 just buried his head deeper into the teen's chest his grip tightening. "I...Fo...Forrest I" A sudden ringing caught the two by surprise as the Labradors ears twitched as he reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone.

"Hmm, I wonder what he wants" Jack questioned as Forrest looked intrigued at who had rung the K9 as Jack answered the phone. "Hey, Legoshi what's up...yeah...uhuh um yeah I'm fine..uhh" The Labrador turned to the teen almost looking for help as Forrest shrugged his shoulders. "Yeah sure ill see you in a minute...yeah ill bring an Egg sandwich...yeah...ok ill see you in minute bye" With a Click Jack ended the Call as he looked at Forrest, the teen's face bore a soft smile as he looked at the Labrador who rubbed the back of his head nervously.

"Was that the famed Legoshi you've been telling me about ey Jack?" the teen said as The golden furred Labrador shook his head in confirmation. "Yeah he wants to meet up in the school grounds," Jack said as the teen nodded "Hehe sounds like fun..." Forrest said as he looked out the window again as the sun continued its slow descent. Jack looked at Forrest his expression one of worry at how the teen was doing. "Eh anyway, Jack...its been fun ey best not keep Legoshi waiting".

Jack took a step forward to console the teen but hesitated as he backed away to the door. "Yeah... I guess your right, ill see you tomorrow ok Forrest?" Jack said as the teen turned to face the K9 with a smile." Yeah, sure thing Jack I'm looking forward to it friend" With that said Jack grabbed his bag as he headed for the door.

As he pushed it open Forrest called out to him. "Hey, Jack" The Labrador stuck his head in the doorway looking at the teen as he grinned "Till tomorrow then... I can't wait and hey, id like to see what these Egg sandwiches are all about OK" Forrest chuckled a similar grin on the Labradors muzzle as he nodded and left, his footsteps echoing across the hall.

As the teen listened to the fading footsteps of the K9 he went back to his seat as he looked out of the window. As he began to mull over what had happened recently placing a hand over the stab wound that he received, to the deep claw marks bandaged upon his arm. As he traced the wounds along and across his body he shivered, as he suppressed the memories of pain that he had received.

The sudden sound of a door opening made the teen turn as he looked over his shoulder to see Sandra standing by the door. Forrest stood up as he smiled at the female Cheetah as he began to approach he suddenly halted as he noticed her expression, it was...sad almost sorry. The teen began to back away slightly as a voice made itself known. "Thank you, Sandra," A deep voice spoke as a large Siberian tiger dressed in a smart suit rounded the corner as he entered the room.

Forrest looked on as the tiger looked at the teen a smile plastered on his muzzle as he looked at the human. "Haha, I can't believe this" the large feline chuckled as Forrest looked on confused as the Feline wiped the tears from his eyes. "I'm sorry about that but when I heard what Sandra here said I didn't believe her". He approached Forrest his hand extended in a handshake. "The names Gon young Forrest and I am the Headmaster of Cherryton Academy, its a pleasure to make your acquaintance" Forrest smiled back at the Feline as he accepted the handshake. "So Mr Gon sir.. to what do I owe this pleasure".

The teen smiled warmly as Gon bought out a seat for himself as he gestured to the teen to sit down. "So then young Forrest, let's get down to business" Forrest took a seat in front of the Feline as they looked at each other...

(Legoshis pov)

The sky was now a deep fiery orange as an old weather-vanes blades turned slowly in the cool wind. Legoshi sat on a bench as he watched the sunset his thoughts on what Mark had said about Haru and the rumours surrounding her. ( so..shes known around the school as the slut) He sighed gazing up at the drifting clouds (God there all so so narrow-minded... I feel sorry for her but I've never been...around girls, I've...never even had a girlfriend before). Legoshi placed a hand on his head as he ruffled his fur shaking the thoughts away. "Hey, Legoshi over here" The lupines ears swivelled as he turned his head to see the approaching form of Jack as the Labrador waved at the sitting lupine.

Legoshi smiled at Jack as he approached his nose began to twitch as Jack arrived next to the wolf. The Labrador sat down next to the wolf as he sighed looking up at the sky. "Wow, it sure is a nice sunset ey Lego...hey get your nose outa there" Jack scolded as the wolf removed his muzzle from Jacks bag his nose still twitching. "You got them didn't you right Jack did you did you" Legoshis tail began to wag behind him as the Labrador smiled at his best friend. "Sure I did Legoshi I know there your favourite haha" Jack reached into his bag as he withdrew a box filled with a couple of the sandwiches that the wolf desired.

As the K9 opened the lid the wolf inhaled the scent of the sandwiches as Jack offered the lupine a sandwich which he happily took. "Ah thank you Jack" Legoshi quickly took a large bite of the sandwich as he moaned in pleasure at the taste. "Haha, I forgot how much you liked them" Jack replied as he watched the wolf quickly devour the Egg sandwich.

Jack took a bite of his own sandwich as he suddenly heard shuffling, looking down he saw Legoshis hand on the box filled with the sandwiches. Jack chuckled and nodded to Legoshi as the wolf took another sandwich as they sat together enjoying each others company as they watched the sun descend as they ate.

"So Jack" the Labrador turned his head to meet Legoshis gaze. "Anything interesting happen to you today," he asked as Jack nodded "Yeah I guess, I met up with a friend" the K9 replied as Legoshis eyes narrowed slightly as the lupine thought back to what he saw. "Hmm, what's he like," He asked as Jack smiled. "He's a great guy, kind, funny, just a nice person to be around you know" Jack blushed slightly as he thought back to the time he spent with Forrest.

Legoshi looked at the Labradors expression and the blush present on his face as his tail went still. "Hmm, what species is he?" Jack looked at Legoshi with a raised brow as the Lupines ears lowered slightly as Jack leaned further back on the bench. "He's a K9 like me and you, his names Forrest," Jack said as he looked down at his feet avoiding the Lupines gaze as his tail stopped. Legoshi knew that his best friend was lying, he could tell by the way Jacks ears twitched to the way he avoided his gaze. "What a beautiful sunset it's quite a beautiful sight right Legoshi" The Labrador asked as the wolf nodded and smiled (Ill ask him about it later) The lupine thought as the two watched the sunset together...

(Back in the nurse's room)

Forrest looked at Gon as the teen thought about what the Headmaster had suggested to him as the Teen stood up. " Id like to take you up on that offer Mr Gon sir" The Tiger stood with a smile on his face as he approached the teen. "Thank you, Forrest, I think that this would be beneficial for not only the Academy but for yourself to learn" With that said the two shook hands as Forrest smiled at the Feline yet he frowned slightly. Gon saw this and rested a hand on the teen's shoulder "I know what your thinking, but don't worry ill get all the official business sorted" Forrest looked up and thanked the Feline as he shrugged it off with a laugh.

" For now though young Forrest its best to maintain a low profile until i sort out arrangements," Gon said as he Looked down at his watch letting out a sigh. "I'm sorry to cut this short but duty calls" The teen smiled at this as the Headmaster went to the door thanking Sandra as he turned to the teen. "As of now young Forrest I shall leave you in the care of Kryat here". The teen looked confused until a tall white Tiger entered the room as he approached the Human.

Forrest looked up at the tall Feline as the Tiger looked down at the teen with a Grin his emerald green eyes glinting in the light. The feline extended a hand as he continued to gaze at the teen "Hi there, Names Kryat...its nice to meet you, Forrest..."
