Soon after Damon left, Sofia decided to take a nap so that she would lie to them that she couldn't come because she was asleep, honestly, who would want to get in fight with the originals, they're literally the strongest family on the planet.

When Sofia falls asleep, first there is darkness, utter darkness, and then she hears a voice, it's calling to her,

"Who are you? How are you doing this?"

Sofia walks in the direction of that voice and there she sees Elena, not her reflection, but the real one, she asks again.

"Who are you? And why are you doing this to me? Why are you possessing me?"

"I am Sofia, and I never intended to possess you, I have no idea how I am doing this but …"

Elena interrupts, "If you don't intend to possess me then why don't you leave my body"

"I don't know how to?"

"How did you get here in the first place?"

"I had an accident and when I woke up I was possessing you. I would very much like to return to my original body but I don't how I could?"

"Well if that's the case then my friend Bonnie would help you return to wherever you came from but for now, please, go to the Salvatore house and do as the boys have asked you too"

"You mean what your vampire friends and you have planned to do to take down Klaus"

"You know about vampires and Klaus" Elena asks Sofia shocked.

"Of course I do."

"Then you need to understand it is very important that you dagger Rebekah tonight"

"Dagger an original, are you kidding, who would take enmity with the original vampires, I am not doing it, not a chance in hell."

"Apparently, you won't be doing it, they won't even know it was you daggered them, I would be the face."

Sofia folds her arms and narrows her eyes at Elena, "Why would you want to dagger Rebekah in the first place? Isn't she becoming friends with you? Doesn't she trust you?"

"How do you know Rebekah trusts me?" Elena is quick to ask

Sofia thinks that she watched all this in a show but she can't exactly give her that explanation so she comes up with a better one, she tells Elena, "All your memories, I can see through them, that's how I know she trusts you."

Elena doesn't flinch a bit instead she says, "So then answer me one thing Sofia, if you have a sibling, who you often have differences with, you have a grudge over him for many things, one day a stranger comes and talks to you, you feel good pouring your heart over to that stranger. But does the fact that it made you feel better to share how you feel about your sibling, enough motivation for you to kill them."

"What do you mean?" Sofia asks

Elena answers, "Yes, I talked to Rebekah, yes, I became friends with her, and Rebekah has agreed with our plan to kill Klaus, but what makes you think that she wouldn't go running to Klaus and tell him everything we planned the minute Klaus steps in Mystic Falls again. Or what's stopping her from ruining our plans in the last moment, just like Elijah did. After all, In the end of the day, Klaus is Rebekah's brother and I am a nobody."

"What if Rebekah doesn't betray you?"

"I can't take that risk Sofia, the first time, I took that risk with Elijah, I lost my aunt, what's stopping Klaus from killing Jeremy, or Bonnie or Caroline or anyone that I love next, if he hears from Rebekah what I have planned."

Sofia had seen the show, she knows this plan would fail eventually but Elena does have a point, I mean, I have siblings too, being mad at them is one thing, back bitching about them is one thing but wanting them dead is completely other level, that too, for a stranger I have just met, I decide I would follow the plan because the alternative would just mean worse for the body I am possessing.

"Fine, tell me how to tell Bonnie about all this, I mean she is your best friend, she would believe you but I, on the other hand, am a completely different person, what if Bonnie thinks I am some monstrous spirit and locks me away in some hell dimension."

"She won't, I promise."

"Do your friends really follow your wishes or is it the other way round?" that's the last thing Sofia questions when soon she is woken up by Caroline.

"Elena, wake up, you should be at the boarding house by now."

The one person I would never consider a friend, she like literally leaves no stone upturned to humiliate Elena, when Elena saw bruises on Caroline in season 1, she head on confronted Damon about it, she went to Stefan for the same, she took an action. Would Stefan really would have thought twice if Caroline weren't Elena's friend, because when you look at it, how many girls has Damon exploited and killed and Stefan never said a word. Yet when Damon becomes Elena's cornerstone when she is threatened by Klaus all Caroline does is find every opportunity she can to humiliate Elena and she does, even Klaus pointed it out once.

Sofia gets up from the bed, "Don't worry, I'll reach there in no time."

Sofia has no idea about Elena but she takes no time in getting ready, that is the one thing she is really fast in. She comes in ready within two minutes, "Let's go" she says and Caroline drops her to the boarding house and leaves.
