Forrest continued to stare up at the tall feline as the white tiger had his hand still extended as the teen chuckled nervously. "Heh, I'm sorry about that I kinda zoned out there" Grasping the felines hand he shook it politely. "Heh, no worries...Kiddo" Kryat replied as he moved over to one of the seats in the room and sat down crossing his legs as he stared at the teen. Forrest watched the feline with curiosity as he just sat there staring at the teen with his piercing green eyes, Forrest moved over to the sink as he grasped a glass.
"So Kryat...right" Forrest looked over to the feline who nodded in conformation as the teen filled up a glass of water. "Whats uh going to happen to me then... I mean if you don't mind me asking" Forrest chuckled nervously as he took a swig of the water as he locked eyes with the feline. "As you know my name is Kryat, and for your information from now on, I shall be your" The feline placed a hand under his muzzle in thought as he snapped his fingers. "Just think of me as your protector or guard whatever suits you best" Forrest nodded as he sat opposite the feline and continued to drink from his glass of water.
"And for what's going to happen to you I think that Headmaster Gon explained most of it to you correct" Forrest nodded as he looked into the cool liquid in his glass. "Yeah...he did, still its quite a lot to take in, to be honest, I'm scared" The teen continued to gaze into the glass seeing his reflection looking back at him as he sighed. The feline looked over at the human as he got out of the chair and walked over to the entrance of the room disappeared around the door.
Forrest heard the feline leave yet he stared at his reflection in the liquid ( why...why did I end up here, why...whats going to happen to my friends my family, Damnit why am I here) A single tear cascaded down the teen's cheek as he heard the tall feline walk back into the room. "Here we are" Kryat proclaimed as he carried in a large bag and placed it down on the floor as he walked back over to his seat.
Forrest quickly looked away from the feline as he dried his eyes and took in a deep breath. The teen turned to the seated feline with a smile as he looked at the bag located on the floor. Kryat gestured to the bag with a nod of his head as Forrest unzipped the mentioned item revealing sets of clothing. "A gift from Headmaster Gon, in there you'll find a uniform for the school and a collection of other garments," The feline said as the teen lifted a plain white shirt from the bag and inspected the item.
"Plus" The teen looked over at the feline as he smirked, "You could do with some new clothing kid". Forrest chuckled gazing down at his garments that he currently adorned as he smiled " Heh I guess your right, I forgot how torn and ripped they are" grasping the bag he went over to the shower located at the back to tidy himself up...
(Back outside on the bench)
As Legoshi and Jack continued to converse about there day they enjoyed each others company as they watched the suns descent. Jack looked out into the sky at the first stars that had begun appearing as he got up out of his seat and looked down at Legoshi. "Hey leggo its about time we headed back to our dorm it's getting late, and you know how the Dorm mother gets". The Lupine nodded as he also got up from the bench as they both picked up their bags and began there way back to there room.
"So Legoshi, there's that assembly tomorrow right, arent you and the Drama group going to receive an award or something?" Jack asked as he looked at the wolf. Legoshi froze suddenly as he gulped in fear. "Y..yeah that's right" he stuttered as his tail ceased all movement. (Oh I'm going to have to stand in front of everyone...in front of everyone...) Legoshis expression fell as the wolf began to panic, Jack seeing this placed a reassuring hand on the lupines shoulder.
"Don't worry Legoshi everything's going to be fine, all you've gotta do is stand on the stage right" The wolf looked down at the reassuring smile of his best friend as his nerves began to settle down. "Yeah.." he replied As the Labrador grinned "See its nothing to worry about Legoshi you'll do fine" Jack patted the lupine on the back as Legoshi smiled at his best friend "Thanks, Jack... I needed that" The two friends nodded at each other as they made their way back to room 701.
As the two ascended the stairs to there dorm Jack looked at Legoshi as the wolf lead the way, "Hey it's you guys" the two K9s turned to see a Red furred German Shepard run up to them. "Hey dude what's going on," Jack asked as the German shepherd panted trying to catch his breath as he looked up at Jack "It's my Sketchbook, it's gone missing i... I can't find it anywhere," the K9 said his ears lowering in sadness, Jack looked at the sad K9 as he placed a paw under his muzzle in thought "Have you checked in any of your previous classes for it".
The German Shepard nodded as he whimpered slightly as Legoshi turned to Jack as they shared a look, Legoshi nodded to Jack as he leaned down to the K9s level. "Hey Road...right" The German shepherd's ears perked up as he nodded at the wolf "Y...yes" he stuttered gaze focused on the lupine, "I think it'll turn up sooner or later" he answered as Jack placed a reassuring hand on Roads shoulder "Legoshis right, things like this usually turn up sooner or later," Jack said reassuringly as he smiled at the German Shepard.
"Yeah, I guess you're right..." The red-furred German Shepard thanked Legoshi and Jack as he let out a deep breath and began to make his way down the corridor as he waved back at the two. As he left, the two friends smiled at each other as they continued there way, Jack smiled at his best friend as he thought about there friendship and how close they were. Thoughts of Forrest began to manifest in his mind as the two came up to there rooms door. "Home sweet home" Jack chuckled as they entered to see there other roommates mulling around. "Hey guys " Jack called as the other K9s turned there heads and greeted the two as they closed the door behind them.
"Hey, took you guys long enough," Durham said as he smirked at the two as the Coyote leaned against his bed. "You missed Voss here beat your high score on the console" Hearing his name the Fennec fox smiled as he paused the game and turned to the golden furred Labrador. "Durhams right your title now belongs to me Jack, bow down to your new master" The vulpine Laughed as he swished his tail from side to side causing Collot to Laugh as his head appeared from his bed cover.
"Hehe you should have seen him guys, his face was priceless" the old English sheepdog laughed his ears flopping with his joy receiving a sarcastic laugh from Voss. As Legoshi and Jack made their way to there wardrobe Durham tapped on the Labradors shoulder as Jack turned to face the Coyote. "Hey you didn't happen to see Miguno at all" he questioned to which Jack shook his head as Durham sighed. "Damn I bet he's running late again with that band of his" the Coyote grumbled slightly as he went over to watch the Fennic fox continue his game on the console.
As the two K9s changed out of there school clothing and into there casual wear they heard the door swing open as Miguno entered carrying his guitar with him as the Hyena struggled to enter. "Heh little help here guys" he cried hearing the call for help Collot moved from his bed and grasped the guitar in his hands. "Heh I got you bud" As Collot moved the case safely to the ground Miguno let out a relieved sigh as he smiled at the shaggy-haired K9. "Thanks, Collot I don't think I could have held that much longer" A chuckle from Collot was heard as he slinked back onto his bed.
"Yo Jack Lego you guys wanna have a game or two" Durham called as the mentioned two made their way over to Voss and the Coyote. "Sure I'm game, how about you Legoshi" Jack asked as he sat down next to the fennec fox. "Sure guys, just gotta check on Beetley first," The wolf said making his way over to his bed, drawing back the curtain and revealing his pet beetle. "Hi little guy, how have you been doing today" As the grey wolf cared for his pet a call from Miguno caught the groups attention as the Hyena made his way over to his guitar case.
"Ahh there you are baby" he fawned over his case as he leant down and unclipped the latches. A grin made its way onto his muzzle as the Hyena pulled out the beloved Electric guitar and turned to his roommate's a grin plastered on his face. "Hey, any of you guys want to hear this new song our band came up with?" he asked as the K9s replied with nods of approval. "Sure dude lets hear what you came up with I'm always down to hear what the Leftovers have come up with," Durham said as the others all nodded.
"Ok then here goes," Miguno said as he seated himself down on a bean bag. As he began to strum his guitar the group listened as the Hyenas hands worked the chords as he played the song. Music filled the room as Miguno continued to play to the group of K9s as the melody that their friend had created filled there ears. A minute or so passed by as Miguno paused as he gazed at his friends "So what did you think" he asked leaning back into the bean bag. "That was a sweet tune dude" Voss called out his tail wagging behind him happily. "Yeah that was great Miguno it was really," Collot thought for a moment before he snapped his fingers "You". The Hyena chuckled as he listened to there compliments "Thanks guys me and the group have been working on it through the afternoon, its why I was running late".
As the others continued to converse Legoshi placed his hand in Beetleys container and allowed the bug to crawl over his fingers. The wolf smilng as he let the rhino beetle travel across his clawed fingers as he examined his pet. (You're so innocent and small I wish that I was like you no one fears you) As Legoshi placed his pet back into his container Jack stuck his head through the curtain as he Smiled at his best friend "Hows Beetley doing Legoshi" Jack asked as the wolf smiled at his friend.
"Yeah he's doing fine heh, Hey Miguno" the mentioned Hyena looked over at the wolf as Legoshi smiled "That was a great song" Miguno gave a thumbs-up as he grinned at the Lupine. "So then, how about that game I mentioned" Durham's voice called out as he held out a pair of controllers as Legoshi and Jack nodded to each other "Sure thing dude beating me was one thing, but you know me and Legoshi are unstoppable together right"...
(Back in the nurse's room)
The teen smiled at himself in the mirror as he gazed at the new clothing adorning him. Looking over himself he glanced down at the bag seeing the other sets of clothing items. Smiling at what he had been given the teen picked up his old clothing examining the cut that the blade had left to the ripped sleeves from the attack in the academy grounds. Forrest gazed at the marks and cuts as a shiver went through his spine.
(It's over now, I'm safe... I'm safe) He closed his eyes tightly hand clenching the fabric of his old clothing as he pushed thoughts of fear and doubt out of his clouded mind. The door opening caught the teen of guard as Kryat walked in "Hey Kid you ok, you were in there for a while" The feline asked as Forrest kept his eyes tightly shut refusing to look at the Tiger. "Yeah...yeah I'm fine," the teen said as Kryats eyes narrowed, the tall feline's ears flicked as he stepped forward only for Forrest to shiver slightly. Seeing this the white Tiger stepped back his tail swishing from side to side as he turned away from the teen. "It's ok you know, whatever's bothering you it's no good keeping it all in" He spoke voice smooth and stern as he left leaving Forrest in the bathroom.
The teen stood in silence as he slowly opened his green eyes gazing at the mirror in front of him, he looked deeply into the glass at his weary and tear-stained face. (This is it..this is my reality right here right now) Forrest exhaled deeply as he leant down to his discarded clothing. Placing them on top of the bag the teen made his way out of the bathroom, as he spotted the feline leaning against the window. "Hey"
The feline turned his head towards the teen as he smirked. " Yeah what's up Kid" he replied as Forrest gestured to his old clothing making the Tiger chuckle slightly. "Heh keeping them as a sort of memento hmm" Forrest nodded as the feline turned back to looking out the window at the darkened sky.
(Back in room 701)
"Damnit I was so close" Miguno cried out as he let the gaming controller slip out of his hands in defeat as Voss sighed as he looked up at the defeated K9. "That's what you always say Mig" The fennec replied as he turned to the two victors. "Nice game Legoshi, you and Jack make a good team". Jack chuckled as he nudged Legoshi "Nah it's his skill that saved us from losing Voss" The Labrador laughed as the lupine blushed and stuttered slightly "Hey..i..it was a close game," he said as he shook his hands defensively as Durham poked his head through his Curtain.
"Yeah yeah, we have heard THAT one before Legoshi" He chuckled as the Lupine became even more flushed as Miguno took out his phone. "It's getting late guys, I think its best that we call this a night " this was met with nods of approval as the group bid each other goodnight as they made their way to there beds. Legoshi was about to lie down on his bed yet he caught sight of Jack looking out of the window as the Wolf cocked his head slightly in confusion. "Hey Jack is everything ok" He whispered as the Labrador nodded gaze still fixated on the night sky as Legoshi approached slowly. "W...what are you looking at" he questioned as Jack smiled.
"Nothing much Legoshi, but it is quite a beautiful night wouldn't you agree" The wolf gazed up at the night sky as he looked at the many stars. "Yeah, you're right... it's beautiful". As the two friends gazed up at the starlight sky Jacks mind wondered to Forrest. (I hope everything is going ok Forrest...my friend)
(Back in the nurse's room)
Kryat gazed out of the window into the darkened grounds below, his eyes scanning the area. "Uggghh dang my shoes" a groan from the teen caught the feline's attention as he smirked at the human. A sudden rustling caught the feline's attention as his ears flicked up, The white tiger's eyes narrowed as he caught a glimpse of something moving in the shadows. His gaze narrowed as he turned to the teen.
"It's late...we need to head to your room if you'd please follow me" The feline began heading to the door as he passed the teen. Forrest looked puzzled... had he said something wrong " But... I d..dident even" The Feline glared and bared his teeth slightly "Now Kid" he growled. Stepping back slightly in shock Forrest followed after the Feline as he carried the bag with him. "Wh...whats the sudden rush Kryat" The teen questioned receiving a glare from the feline that made him cease his questioning.
The feline glanced back at the Nurses room as the two continued making their way to the teen's new accommodation. Unbeknownst to the two, the figure emerged from his hiding spot as he stepped away from the dark the animal's features were exposed by one of the dim lights. The red wolf gazed around his surroundings, yellow feral like eyes glinting as he began sniffing the air. (Wh..what's this...its... it's a new) The wolf sniffed the air again as his ears lowered (Th...thats...his scent...Jac...) Shaking his head the wolf whimpered as he clutched his head in pain as a Feral growl escaped his muzzle (That other scent...its...its PREY)...
