AN: I don't own any character that you may recognize, as they belong to their respective authors.
This story may start out sounding like a Chronicles of Narnia story, and that will be the final crossover story in this work, it is not the first, just what gave me direction on where to start.
I draw a lot of inspiration from Rouge-Mando's Crossroads' Divergence, but I hope that my story will go far enough away from his that no one can say I am taking directly from him.
"Aslan," A loud voice called out across space and time from a space of pure light.
"Yes father, I hear you, what need have you of me?" A voice responded.
"Aslan, the forces of Tash are growing stronger, and the Wood Between Worlds has been attacked," The first voice said as a tall strong man appeared in the space of pure light.
"Father how is it done? The Wood Between Worlds is one which I have no power over, how than has Tash gained strength there?" A large Lion asked appearing in the space as well.
"Through his guile Tash has gained the hearts of the world of Charn, and corrupted your fellow Goton, to fall," The man said sadly.
"So Goton's Land is also fallen?" The lion said simply.
"Indeed, as is the lands of Crom, Cthulu's lands, among with some others of your brethren," The man said sadly.
"What can be done, if Tash has grown strong enough to corrupt worlds and my brethren what more can be done?" The Lion asked sadly.
"Aslan, you are my strongest son, and the time grows close where your world must be built, but to aide in this fight not only can your own world be brought to aide in this battle," The man said simply.
"What shall be done father?" Aslan asked simply.
"I shall send your brother Hadrian into a world which another of they brethren has forsaken, and he shall be born as a member of the world, but without a land of his own he shall have the might to cross the Wood Between Worlds, and raise a force loyal to him from across my dominion, to fight against Tash, at your side to reset the Wood Between Worlds at peace," The man said simply.
"Which worlds have the strength to fight against the forces of Tash, and how will Hadrian gain the loyalty, of my brethren if they do not all continue to follow you father?" Aslan asked slightly upset at the thought.
"I asked your brethren, Arthur of whom built the sword Excalibur the Dragon's bane, Lord who founded the seven, Chaos who founded the councils of 12, Eru who sang the song of Ilúvatar, Eregon who founded the order of the dragon riders, Hero who created the order of the Warriors, and Balerion who's children raised an empire to be unmatched before their fall. I have asked they all give Hadrian a chance to win their people's hearts, and aide in their time of greatest need as Tash fights to win them over," The man said simply as seven other beings appeared.
"What world then shall Hadrian go and enter in?" Aslan asked nodding to his brethren before noticing another man appear in their midst.
"Emperor, Brethren, to answer your question Aslan, I go to the world of Earth that had been guarded by Merlin the Wise before he chose to desert his post. I will go as a child born to the blessed of Merlin who now grow weak with his power missing." The new man said calmly, he having messy black hair and emerald green eyes.
"Father Emperor, if I may, not that I doubt the power of Hadrian, but how shall he depart from his own world to enter our own?" A large black dragon asked softly.
"Balerion, I am glad you asked, I have created a doorway into the Wood Between Worlds that once crossed will allow Hadrian to enter another world, where he will be reborn and aide in your own world's one by one," The man said simply.
"Upon the time that I have brought the world in which I enter into to peace, a portal shall appear once more and I shall return once more to the wood, where the cycle will begin again, with my body from the world remaining behind in the wood until I can again take it up," Hadrian said simply.
"What of the earth in which you shall come from, if your world is over taken by Tash won't you also fall by default as has been done in worlds before?" A man wearing plate armor asked politely.
"Arthur, my son, I shall use my own strength to guard his world until he can again return having gained strength enough to fight Tash there, and in so doing slow down time so that he can move through without losing decades in his world," The man said simply.
"Father, should we be permitted to give Hadrian gifts or tools to aide him in our own worlds?" A man who was encircled in light asked calmly, with a man surrounded by stars, a man in a white robe, and a man with long pointed ears all nodding their heads.
"Eru my son, so glad am I that you asked that question, as I can see that Chaos, Lord, and Eregon also had the question, to which I will not give a clear answer to, as it is up to you how much aide you give but remember he is not you so no matter what you gift him with he shall not be able to gain support just by your gift," The man said softly before a snowy owl flew into the room.
"Hedwig my friend, where have you been?" Hadrian asked stretching an arm out for the owl to land on.
"Emperor Beyond the Sea, Brethren Beyond the Sea, I have come from Goton's Land and saw the final fall of the Charn, though Charn still has life in it," The owl spoke softly.
"How is that done, whenever a world is corrupted all life is destroyed and the one who created the world takes it back into their land? I understand that Goton has fallen but surely he would retake his worlds under his right so he could have more souls to aide in his fight against us," A man with Silver hair and a short sword on his hip said simply.
"Hero, my son, do not forget that for that to occur all life must be destroyed or capable of being destroyed, which means that somehow this is not possible, do you know how it is done Hedwig?" The Emperor-Beyond-the-Sea asked kindly.
"During the War that was triggered by Tash corrupting Goton, the secondary heiress of Charn learned the evil magics and just before I arrived in Charn spoke the Deplorable Word, before casting herself in stone only to be awoken by the Bell of the chief priest of Goton, which she placed before her," Hedwig said sadly.
"That would explain how this is done, I will do what I can to keep the world of Charn separate from the Wood Between Worlds, but if one who is not meant to enter the Wood enters they may stumble into the world of Charn and by chance wake her," The Emperor-Beyond-The-Sea said simply.
"Of course Lord Father, now shall we all return to our Lands and allow Aslan to go and begin the creation of his Land?" Hero asked kindly.
"Indeed and remember Hadrian as you enter your world you shall take the greater path to mastery, which is by becoming a leader and completing a task to which you will long be remembered, like your brethren Eregon, Balerion, Hero, and Arther did," The Emperor-Beyond-The-Sea said kindly.
"Aye, and I shall be going once more to be a leader, since the nation I had originally organized will soon fall, and so my name is not forgotten I shall go down again and aide in the organization of the new nation that shall lead the world for a time," The dragon said before vanishing.
"Of course Father, Merlin had taken the lesser path which is part of why he is only remembered in name not deeds. Father a request, may my old friend Hedwig come with me in this journey?" Hadrian asked kindly.
"Of course my son, though she will not have the ability to speak outside of the Wood-Between-Worlds, and shall not join you until your journey truly begins," The Emperor-Beyond-the-Sea said before receiving a nod from both of them and they all vanished.
Just for a bit of clarification on crossovers that will be in this story, this is in no particular order.
1. Narnia with the leader being Aslan, should be pretty clear
2. High School DxD with Arther, who I am saying created the Excalibur fragments since he is not a direct part of any faction, Arther will not be present outside of that knowledge
3. Seven Mortal Sins/Seven Heavenly Virtues anime series, Lord(I know lame name but whatever) is the leader, but again won't really be present.
Riordan stories, Primarily Percy Jackson, leader being Chaos, again not very present in my outline
5. Inheritance Cycle, leader being Eregon as in the elf who founded the dragon rider(yes I do know wrong spelling but that is to separate him from Eragon who will be a large character in my story, Eregon not so much)
6. Tolkien, leader being Eru Illuvatar, mentioned but again not super present, but he is still well known and remembered
7. Bikini Warriors Anime, Leader being Hero(again lame name but whatever), again will not be present outside of being remembered.
8. ASOIF/GOT, Balerion was a god in Valyrian, but when Valyria Falls he rides again as Balerion the Black Dread, again won't play a major role in the story.
