Klaus was shocked to see his elder brother and soon Elijah greeted him the best way he could, blows, punches, kicks, all the while ruining the house he just finished renovating. After when Elijah's anger simmered down, Klaus told him everything that had happened since the day he was daggered, of course only from his point of view and he absolutely hid the fact about him faking a relationship with Elena, announcing a fake engagement with her just so that he could ruin Stefan.

Klaus compelled Stefan never to use Elena against him again like that and then he let him go making him forget everything that happened after the wicker bridge incident. After all, Klaus had intended to destroy Stefan Salvatore for stealing his family away from him and if Stefan were compelled, then he won't get the pleasure of destroying him.

Elijah walked to the room Elena was lying in, he remembered that his brother told him that he healed Elena, he was waiting for Elena to wake up. Klaus wakes into that room, "She must have woken up by now, I gave her enough of my blood to heal."

Klaus reaches his hand out towards Elena, he was going to shake her in order to wake her up but Elijah holds him by the wrist, "Niklaus, please, the girl is sleeping, let her wake on her own."

Klaus stares at his brother and just speeds away, he knew he had to talk to Elena first before Elena talked to Elijah and revealed to him about his grand scheme regarding her and the Salvatores.

When Stefan took Elena to the witch house to excorcise Sofia out of her, he left Rebekah there on the road and a hybrid sped Rebekah to his home, finding the opportunity when it showed, Klaus daggers Rebekah because he was sensing her to be friends with Elena and that, he saw, to be a hindrance in his devilish plans for the doppelganger. He decided to put a dagger in his sister's heart and only wake her up after Elena had lived her long human life and was gone for good.

Elena stayed unconscious for another day, this got even Klaus worried, he wanted to use her as his hybrid breeding machine and if she were to stay in this state then she would be of no use to him. He speeds to her room, currently Elijah is sleeping in an arm chair placed right next to her bed. He would have put a dagger through Elijah's heart too, but, he was out of daggers, probably, the elder Salvatore was saving it for a rainy day. He gives a brief look to Elena, his nostrils flare, and then, he leaves.

Meanwhile in Elena's head, Elena has not only gained my TVD/TO memories, she has gained all my other memories too. She is sitting, keeping a hand on her forehead, "So, in your world, I am just a fictional character who happens to receive a lot of hate from the viewers. People write hate fics on me, tormenting me, hating me, abusing me, torturing me in their versions of the story." She looks up at me, "Tell me, do you hate me too, how do you perceive me to be."

I look at her and then I look on the ground, then back at her, "See, when I first started watching the show, I hated you, you were my least favorite character. But since there was nothing left to do for me because of the pandemic, I rewatched it, and that is, when you became my favorite."

"What do you mean, you hated me at first and I became your favorite in the rewatch. It was the same story for you, what changed your perspective of me?"

"See, when I first saw the show, I started to like your character, the first time I disliked you was when you put a dagger through Rebekah's back, when you killed Kol, I absolutely hated you, I found you selfish."

Elena quirks an eyebrow, asking me what changed on the second watch and I told her.

"On my second watch, I started noticing small details about you, like when Stefan wanted to die, you didn't force him to live, you talked some sense into him, returned his ring and you walked away, and bingo, he was back. And then, now you told me your reasoning, obviously, Elijah betrayed you to your death and then Rebekah was his sister so why would she chose anyone other than her brother, she has always been on his side."

"Except for 1919" Elena adds.

"Yes, but when it came to the fourth season, I saw that you had no choice than to kill him, Kol compelled Damon to kill Jeremy, and Klaus made it clear to her that his brother won't stop no matter what, and you had already lost so much, first your adoptive parents, then your friend Vicky, I saw you cry on her death even though she tried to kill you, then you were tortured because of Katherine's linking spell, then abducted, then you lost your birth mother, then your aunt, your birth parent, you were used as a human blood bag for a hybrid's selfish needs, then you lost your life, all that you had left was your brother, you even said in one episode that Jeremy is the only thing that kept you going.

It was then, on my second watch, that I saw it, Jeremy was all that was left of you and you would do anything to protect him, no matter what, it isn't your fault they pushed you so hard, you were trying to protect your family and the scene that made me hate you on the first watch is the same scene which made me fall in love with your character on the second watch. I don't love your character because you're a saint or a martyr, I love your character because you're fierce and because you would do anything for the people you love, and that, in my eyes, is the definition of a true hero."

Elena smiles and hugs me, "Thank you Sofia, I feel a lot better." She breaks the hug and tells her, "But still, I am not letting you jump into my body, okay."

"Done" I smile looking at her and leave her body, Elena wakes up.
