Chapter 14

(Forrests pov)

The young teen watched as the striped feline rounded a corner to where some dogs had spied him as he heard the feline clear his throat. (Hehe, it seems that I'm...quite the sight). With a sigh, Forrest began to make his way towards Kryat. " We were just c...curious is all...r...right guys" A nervous voice met Forrest's ears as he rounded the corner coming face to face with a group of K9s there tails lowered and tucked as they cowered in fear at the presence of the large striped tiger.

"Hmm is that so..." The rough voice of Kryat spoke out as the group of K9s nodded...yet Forrest noticed a familiar figure nestled in the back of the group. "Hey Kid..you alright" A large hand nestled itself on the teen's shoulder as the teen looked up and smiled nodding his head. "Yeah..hehe sorry I spaced out a little bit" Forrest chuckled shyly as he rubbed the back of his head nervously. Kryat chuckled as he smirked down at the teen his K9s showing slightly. "Haha what am I gonna do with you kid".

The teen blushed as he looked back towards the K9s as a smile graced his lips as his eyes once again locked onto the form of the yellow Labrador. "H...Hey Jack...how are you doing?" Forrest gently called out noticing the tail of said K9 beginning to wag slightly. The rest of the group turned their gazes to meet the Labradors as they began to bombard Jack with questions. "Jack you never told us that your new friend was the new student!" An exited Collot spoke as more questions from the other room 701 k9s questioned the K9.

Watching with a smile on his face Forrest witnessed the Yellow furred Labrador shrink back and nervously wave his hands, trying to stop the rest of his roommate's onslaught of questions. "Hey come on guys break it up, Give Jack some space" a rather deep sounding yet small voice spoke as a small Fennec fox called out from atop Collots head. With that said the K9s backed away slightly as jack mouthed a quiet thank you to Voss as his gaze fell onto Forrests. "H...hey Forrest," Jack said nervously rubbing at his arm as he avoided the teens face, his tail still tucked slightly.

Forrest smiled as he approached the Labrador before wrapping his arms around the K9 in a tight embrace. "Hey, Jack I've missed you" the teen softly spoke as he enjoyed the feeling of hugging the shocked Labrador. "Y...You missed me b..but I thought..." Jack began to stutter as he exhaled deeply staring back into the teen's green pools. Forrest looked concerned as he began to gently pet the K9s head with his hand earning the teen a happy growl from the Labrador. "Jack...are you ok" the teen spoke as a cough from one of Jack's roommates caught the teen's attention, as the teen's gaze fell onto the spotted hyena in the group. "Well, you see Forrest...is it" The teen nodded to confirm that the hyena had said his name as said mammal looked back at Jack.

"Jacky here has been feeling a little down and we were trying to find out why" Jack's face flushed red as he looked away in embarrassment as his tail curled. Forrest looked down at Jack as he gently raised the K9s lowered head to meet his green pools. "I...I went up to meet you at the nurse's room to see if you were still doing ok...but you weren't there...". Jack stuttered as he averted his eyes from the teen his ears drooping along with some of the other K9s. Forrest looked on at Jack and his friends as he also sighed, opening his mouth only for his words to be caught in his throat as a large furred hand landed on his shoulder.

"Jack was it.." Kryat spoke up making the yellow Labradors' ears perk up. turning he took a look at the large feline standing next to Forrest with a reassuring hand on the teen's shoulder. "Forrest here was moved from the infirmary and relocated to his new room in the school for his gradual melding into school life" Kryat spoke to the group of K9s as he tightened his grip on the teen's shoulder. "that was until..." Collots ears perked up as he saw the large feline's teeth clench as he suppressed a growl as the large dog figured out why the Feline was acting up. "I...is it because of...Forrest's announcement" Collot questioned as the white-furred tiger sighed in annoyance.

"It was way too early for the Kid...I mean Forrest to be announced to everyone here...especially after..what happened to that Alpacca student .." a resounding silence filled the corridor as the k9s heads and ears lowered at the mention of the deceased student. "H...hey c...come on...I..I don't think that...T...Tem was it ?" Forrest questioned receiving solemn nods from the gathered K9s as the Teen reached out a hand to Jack's head. "I don't think he would want us to be sad...r...right I mean...he was always happy..a..and I think we should be happy too and remember him that way...". With that said the teen began to gently pet and ruffle Jack's head fur and ears as the rest of the K9s watched on with their mouths wide open.

Jack's eyes began to droop as he instinctively leant into the petting, his tail began rising as he let out a content sigh a smile making its way onto his muzzle. Forrest chuckled lightly as he failed to notice the somewhat jealous and curious expressions of the other dorm 701 K9s. "Soooo...what are you doing with Jacky boy over there Forrest?" Miguno questioned startling the teen slightly as he pulled his hand away from the labrador head much to the displeasure of the yellow furred K9 as he let out a displeased whimper. "O...Oh, I was just...uhh...petting him..." The teen spoke as his gaze settled on the expressions of the group. "What's Petting if I may ask" Durham questioned as he glanced at the relaxed expression that his friend was wearing.

"Oh, it's just...I mean I just...I can't explain it...heh...b...but I can show you" Forrest said as he looked at the gathered K9s with his hand outstretched. Durham cocked his head to the side as he placed a hand under his muzzle in thought. "I...don't mind seeing what all this fuss is about" The coyote spoke as he approached the teen with a confident smirk. A couple of yells and chuckles emanated from the group of gathered k9s as they encouraged their dorm friend as he stood in front of the teen. "Ok then let's get this over with Forrest" Durham lowered his head slightly towards the teen as Forrest gently began to rub and stroke Durhams pointed ears. "O...Oh wow..." The coyote melted into the teen's touch as he sighed happily much to the laughter of the gathered k9s of 401.

"So..Durham what is all the fuss about hmm" Voss called from Collots shoulder his voice seeming to snap the coyote out of his relaxed stupor. "Oh...i...hehe" The coyote chuckles nervously as he fails to notice his tail wagging receiving chuckles from his dorm mates. Forrest chuckles slightly at the group's antics as a smile forms on his lips. "Now if you will excuse us" The strong voice of Kryat spoke up placing a large hand on the human's shoulder as he gazed at the group. "Forrest here needs to head back to his dorm as he has had quite a rough time" The human looked down at his feet sadly as he sighed receiving concerned glances from the K9s as Kryats hand tightened around his shoulder reassuringly.

"W..we understand don't we guys," Jack said turning to his friends as they all nodded in unison. "Yeah it's fine Forrest, and hey you're always welcome around our dorm" Collot spoke up receiving nods and voices of approval. Forrest smiled at the group as he quickly rubbed at his moistening eyes. "T...thank you all...so much heh..I..I would like that a lot" With that said Kryat began leading the human away back to his room until the sound of hurried steps met the teen's ears. "F...Forrest Huff heh...i...I almost forgot" The panting form of jack held a piece of paper in his hands as he handed it to the Human. "T...that's my number hehe so we can keep in contact you know" Jack's muzzle scrunched up in embarrassment as he looked away shyly as Forrest looked down at the number, as a smile formed on his lips.

"Thank you Jack...you have been a...g...good friend to me since I've been here, and have done so much for me...Thank you truly" Forrest stepped forward as he embraced the golden furred K9 in a tight embrace. As Forrest released the blushing K9 from his grasp Jack's tail continued to wag franticly as he smiled at Forrest. "Heh...w...well ill see you around then Forrest ok!" Jack spoke as cheers and calls of approval echoed from the rest of the members of room 701 imploring the Teen to hang out with them. Forrest chuckled lightly at the K9s friendly and energetic attitudes, as he turned waving goodbye to them all as he followed Kryat away towards his room hearing the faint mention of Legoshi and meeting up...

(Louis pov) ((What...what in the great Dinosaurs was that Thing...and why did he make me feel so...afraid..no...i can't think like that)) Shaking his head to clear his thoughts Louis let out a deep sigh as he focused on his goal in mind...finding this New student. As Louis continued making his way through the school his jacket fluttered as he passed other students their conversations focused on the events of the presentation...Though it was mainly focused on the new Human...student and this was not what the Red deer had wanted. ((This puts me in a predicament if this Human were to join a club then that would garner the attention to whatever group he would be part of...unless)) Louis suddenly stopped as he placed a furred hand under his muzzle in thought. "he could Join the drama club..." The deer spoke out loud not noticing some blushing admirers as he turned to flash them a smile receiving more blushing and peals of soft laughter. As the admires moved away their muttering and giggling bought a smirk to the heir to the horns conglomerates muzzle as he chuckled to himself slightly. ((Hmm it seems that my popularity is still undeniable and...with the potential of that...human I can say that all eyes will be on the drama group and me)).

Raising his head and straightening his posture the young red buck made his way to the principal's office to get answers on the new student and his potential introduction into the drama club.

(Legoshis pov)

((Hmmm that took longer than I thought I hope the guys are still there)) With quick long strides, the young tall lupine made his way past the surge of students as he tracked his friend's scents towards the more secluded part of the corridors. Suddenly his body tensed and his muscles locked up as a familiar and dangerous scent filled his senses, as Legoshi quickly placed a furred hand over his nose he whimpered. "I...h...he was...here...h..his scent its g...grrrrrrr". As Legoshis body began to shake more his muzzle began to open revealing his sharp k9s and incisors as saliva began to pool... "HEY LEGOSHIIII" the familiar voice of Collot bought the lupines gaze to the eyes of his dormmates as he quickly looked away suppressing his instincts as he hurriedly wiped the saliva from his maw. A gentle furred hand found itself on the lupine's shoulder as Legoshi heard a concerned sigh "You ok there Legoshi...you seem a little off" Jack's voice filled the lupine's ears, he could feel the concern radiating off the yellow labrador as Legoshi calmed his nerves. "Y...Yeah I'm ok Jack so w...what did I miss" Legoshi spoke knowing full well who had shown up as he watched as his friends began explaining the Human and the possibility of said new species possibly hanging out with them in their dorm. "Sooo what do you think Mr scary face huh" Durham spoke out receiving a blank and vacant stare from the tall lupine as the poor wolf's mind was in full meltdown.

((N...no what in the name of Rex am I going to do...t...this is...b..bad REALLY bad i...just his scent alone is...is too much...i...what happens if...i...do something worse...maybe...no...i ...i can't think like that cooome on Legoshi pull yourself together nothingbadisgoingtohappenatall)). As his mind continued to think of all the bad and potentially dangerous things that could happen. A sudden impact against his sensitive nose caused him to snap out of his mindset as a startled yelp left his maw, his eyes drifting to the small Fennic pearched on Collots shoulder who was readying another ball of paper as the small vulpine smirked at the startled wolf. "HEY..what was that for Voss" Jack yelled as the Fennec laughed menacingly as he pulled his small arm back ready to throw another. "Ahaha it worked didn't it he's no longer spacing out". As the rest of room 701 began chasing the fennec and his companion Collot around the corridor the echoes and cries of "Never surrender" and joking nature bought a smile to Legoshis muzzle. ((I...ill be alright...things...things are going to be fine)).
