October 31, 1992 Dueling Club
"So, who wants to volunteer to be the first to try dueling?" A Blonde haired pompus man said from the dueling platform.
"I will, Professor Lockhart, and I want to duel Potter?" Ron said with a sneer.
"Very well Mr Weasley, Mr Potter would you come up to the platform, remember you are just going to be practicing the disarming charm," Lockhart said with a grin.
"I would rather not," Hadrian said as he looked up seemingly bored.
"Why, chicken Potter, or is it because everyone knows you are evil?" Ron asked coldly.
"No, more because I would rather duel someone who actually knows how to hold their wand, or at least protect it from breaking, like you did when you stole your father's illegal flying car almost two months ago," Hadrian said flatly.
"How dare you insult my brother, if you feel he is not good enough, how about going against me, Potter," Percy said angry at Hadrian because his now ex-girlfriend, Penny, preferred Hadrian's company over his own.
"Again, I would rather not," Hadrian said simply.
"Clearly you are just a coward, should have died with your parents," Percy said to the shock of the hall.
"Oh no, he just crossed that line," Neville said softly but was heard by the entire hall since it had fallen silent.
"Is that so, well if you think so I will take both of your challenges, you and your brother against me, standard international dueling rules," Hadrian said coldly, moving towards the platform.
"Um, Severus, could you inform the club what those rules are, again," Lockhart asked clearly not aware of the rules.
"No killing, no unforgivable, and first unconscious wins," Snape said with a bored tone.
"Exactly class, now watch as Mr Potter is very quickly disarmed by the Weaselys," Lockhart said as Snape rolled his eyes.
"Perhaps you should not bet against Mr. Potter, begin," Snape said once all three were on the platform.
"Silencio, Expulso, Expelliarmus, Calvorio, Epoximise Poterius, Stupify Duplo," Hadrian said in rapid succession, first making both Weasleys unable to speak before throwing them across the hall, disarming them, causing all their hair to fall out before becoming bound together like glue, before being knocked out, all before either Weasley could do anything.
"Well clearly Mr. Potter here has some experience with spells, but since both his opponents are already out cold," Snape said with a small smile.
"Indeed, however this was supposed to be a duel, not a beating, he should have allowed them to get a few spells in before he beat them," Lockhart said shocked.
"I don't care, Flophart, now please excuse me, I am leaving," Hadrian said coldly before quickly leaving the chamber.
"Mr. Potter, would you be willing to tell me how to unbind the two Weasleys from each other?" Flitwick asked a few hours later the duel when he found Hadrian in the Library.
"No, they will be that way until the clay that is binding them dries and flakes off, should be about two days," Hadrian said simply, not looking up from his book.
"Mr. Potter, could I ask where you learned that spell?" Flitwick asked curiously.
"Family Vault," Hadrian said giving Flitwick all the answer he needed, so he chose wisely to leave.
Two months later, December 31st, 1992
"Is it strange to anyone else that Spiders are fleeing outside instead of going to the warmth of the castle?" Hadrian asked his small group of friends that had grown smaller the previous week when Penny and Hermione had been petrified by some unknown agent that Ron and Percy kept pushing was Hadrian's fault.
"I had not really noticed, but since you mention it, it is strange," Susan said kindly.
"Do you want to go follow them?" Hadrian asked hopefully.
"Sure, I think that could be cool, especially since the Headmaster had forbidden anyone from going home for break due to the Petrifications," Susan said before standing and following Hadrian, along with Neville as they followed the path of spiders, while the others in their group chose not to go.
"Guys they are heading into the forest," Neville said as they approached said forbidden forest.
"So, I mean its just spiders, it's a new moon, and its winter so most of the dangerous creatures are probably in hibernation, if you don't want to follow us you don't have to," Hadrian said as he continued into the forest.
"No, I'm coming, someone has to make sure you don't get yourself killed, and besides I can collect plants as we go," Neville said as they continued deeper into the forest, until they found themselves surrounded by huge spider webs.
"What human dares enter my forest?" A huge spider standing over 10 feet at its body said as it suddenly came out from under a tree root cave.
"Um, sorry Spider, wait since when did spiders talk, but we are students at Hogwarts and we were following the tiny spiders not sure why they were fleeing the warmth of the castle," Hadrian said looking at the spider, who saw his eyes was seemingly shocked.
"I am Aragog, and they are fleeing the castle since one of our two oldest enemies has awoken, the King Snake, and so they are returning here since only I may be able to protect them, now I will let you leave, since you are clearly the kin of our oldest enemy, and slayer of my father, Ungoliant, but never return, or we will kill you for killing the first, and all my brethren," Aragog said quickly.
"Okay, sure, we are leaving," Hadrian said confused by what the Spider had said but quickly hightailing it out of the forest.
