Barbara and Dick looked at the two teenage girls that stood in Barbara's apartment. The oldest one of the two had just walked over to the coat closet to reveal the secret room behind it.
"H-how did you know about that?" Barbara asked, completely confused and almost sounding scared.
"That's what we wanted to talk about," Julie spoke up. They all went into the room and Dick shut the door, making sure no one was watching.
"Ok, now that we're somewhere a little more private, start talking. How do you know about this room? Only a select number of people do, and you aren't on that list." Barbara remarked, turning her wheelchair around to face the two girls.
"We know more than just this," Julie announced. The two girls then went into detail on everything they knew. It took the girls about forty-five minutes of explaining and trying to convince the two heroes that they were not dangerous, and praying that they believed them.
"So, you aren't from our world, and you know things about literally all of the Justice League and their partners?" Barbara questioned, still somewhat in disbelief.
"Yeah, but we promise, on our lives, that we won't tell anyone in this world anything," Julie promised.
"Well, I guess that's something, but how are we going to tell Bruce about this?" Dick pondered.
"We'll just have to tell him straight forward. It's the best we can do without revealing anything to him before he finds out on his own."
"Are you saying that we get to meet Bruce Wayne?!" Kelsie asked a little over excitedly.
"Calm down there, jumpy. Don't make them regret this decision." Julie stated, grabbing her friend's shoulders to calm her down, despite being ecstatic about it herself.
"Too late for that, but we don't have a choice," Dick responded, rubbing his temples. "Barbara, let him know I'm heading over with a few guests." He started to head to the door then turned and looked at the two girls. "Are you two coming, or are you just going to bother Barbara all night?" He then continued to walk out of the apartment. The two best friends looked at each other, then took off after him.
After arriving at the manor, the two girls were overcome with excitement, especially when they were greeted by none other than Alfred Pennyworth who, in their opinion, was 'the most badass buttler ever.'
"Good evening Master Dick. And who are your young friends?"
"Alfred, this is-" Dick started to say, but stopped because he realized they hadn't actually told him their names. He looked at the two, as if to say 'Help me out here.'
"I'm Kelsie and this is Julie," the older of the two girls answered.
"Lovely to meet you Miss Kelsie, and Miss Julie. Master Bruce is waiting for you in his study, Master Dick." Alfred stepped back to let the group into the house. Dick led the teens to Bruce's study and knocked on the door.
"Come in," a voice answered from the otherside. The trio then went into the room and were met by none other than Bruce Wayne. Julie and Kelsie stared in awe at the man in front of them. They could hardly believe that it was actually him. That THE Batman was standing right in front of them.
"What was it you wanted to talk to me about? Barbara said it was 'My top priority at the moment'" Bruce asked, standing up from behind his desk. He then saw the two girls behind his adopted son. "Who are these two?"
"This is Kelsie and Jenny-"
"Julie," the younger one interrupted, correcting him.
"Julie. They're the reason Barbara called. They, uh, know." Bruce stared for a moment.
"What do you mean by 'they know'?"
"We know everything about you, your family, the Justice League, the Titans, everyone." Julie said, a little too straight forward, not giving any fucks, like always. Bruce raised an eyebrow with concern.
"And what exactly do you know?"
"You're Batman, he's Nightwing, Superman is Clark Kent, Wonder Woman is Diana Pri-" Kelsie started rattling off, but stopped the moment she noticed that Bruce's expression got ten times more intimidating. "I'll, uh, just shut up now."
"How do you know this information?" He moved from behind his desk to the front and crossed his arms.
"Well, it's kinda a long story. How much time ya got?" Julie stated, taking a seat.
"I've got plenty. Start talking."
