Previously on Dragon Ball Aftermath: Rewrite

Goku yells, launching a Kamehameha toward Broly, but the brute would run through it, grabbing Goku's face and throwing him down with full force. Goku barely stops himself before hitting the ground.

Vegeta would land a couple of punches on his face, but it would anger him more than damage him. The brute grabs his leg and rapidly punches his stomach as he bounces back.

The prince would cough up a lot of blood before yelling and entering Super Saiyan Blue Evolution, punching him and sending him back a little. He spreads his arms, then presses his palms together. "FINAL... FLASH!"

Broly yells and launches a mouth beam, the two beams clashing. Paragus would be blown back from the collision, digging his feet into the ground. "To think... Broly is capable of this kind of power..."

Frieza smirks. "And this is only ten percent of his true power? I am impressed."

Broly's blast would easily overpower Vegeta's as it consumes him. He yells as he is sent flying into the atmosphere; the attack tearing his upper armor off.

Chapter Seven

Goku watches, surprised as Broly turns toward him, growling. He gets into a stance, watching the brute walk toward him. "I shouldn't hold back any longer against you. That would get me killed.

He yells, a red aura flaring up around him. "Good thing I trained with Whis for this!" Even now, it would still be tricky to conceal the power of Super Saiyan Blue while also amplifying it with violent power.

"KAIOKEN TIMES TEN!" He yells, now being a hundred times stronger than the normal Super Saiyan Blue form. Frieza's eyes twitch at the sight of this. "The monkeys developed faster than I thought..."

He roars, launching toward Broly and slamming a punch on his face, sending him flying. He'd then shoot behind him and kick him up, before slamming him down onto the ground. He then follows it with a Kamehameha, the land completely exploding, it being completely unrecognizable.

When the smoke disperses, Broly would be kneeling down on the ground, bleeding. He gets up and roars, launching toward him once again. He'd be even faster than before.

The two clash back and forth, the shock waves shaking the surrounding galaxies. The two would be even in power, confusing Goku. He then looks at Broly's aura and it would now be sparking with electricity.

Goku's eyes widen. "He's... entered Super Saiyan two! Damn it..." He yells and kicks Broly, sending him flying back, but he launches back forward, striking him with an equally powerful blow.

He coughs up blood, before continuing to clash with the brute, their attacks becoming more and more powerful. Energy gathers up in the center of them and would result in a huge explosion, sending them both flying back.

Broly yells and then looks up to see Vegeta flying toward him at extreme speeds in Super Saiyan Blue Evolution with no aura surrounding him. He roars, slamming a kick into the brute, sending him crashing through the ground.

He'd be in perfected Super Saiyan Blue Evolution, being even more powerful than Goku in his current state. Broly tries to get up, but then the prince slams down on him and cracks his ribs.

Vegeta would go to beat down on him to subdue him, punching him back and forth. Paragus walks forward, but Frieza wraps his tail around his legs, causing him to fall to the ground. "What are you doing, Frieza?! My son is in danger!"

He raises his remote to press the button, but it would explode into pieces before he even has time to react. "What the?" He turns toward Frieza, who would have destroyed it. "I'm afraid not. We cannot end the fight until those two are dead."

[Music: Sosuke Aizen battle theme song]

He raises his finger, charging up a death beam. Broly slowly looks toward them, his vision foggy. He then sees Frieza killing his father, and he would stop, staring at him. "Father...? Father?! FATHER!"

Goku would turn toward the emperor, getting angry. "FRIEZA! Why would you do that, you bastard?!"

Frieza smirks, pointing toward Broly. "You might want to worry about him first..."

Broly twitches uncontrollably. "No... NO!" He grabs Vegeta and throws him, sending him tumbling back. The brute roars as loud as he can, his hair flashing green. Parts of the earth would crumble, lightning striking everywhere.

Explosions would shake the area, sending Frieza stumbling back. The tectonic plates of the land would split apart, revealing lava building up on the surface. Goku and Vegeta would try to block out the wind, skidding back.

Broly roars, pillars of energy breaking out of the ground. He transforms into his final form-the Legendary Super Saiyan form. He glares at the two Saiyans, barely having any form of consciousness left.

Faster than the blink of an eye, he would have grabbed Vegeta and slammed him on the ground, completely imploding it. He then smashes his fist into his chest with full force, shattering his ribs.

Vegeta yells in pain, blood spewing out of his mouth. Broly would slam him on his knee, trying to break his spine and tear him in half. Goku powers up into Kaioken times twenty, launching toward the Saiyan.

Time would seem slower in Broly's eyes. He'd see nothing but black and white and spots in his eyes. He would barely be able to hear anything. He grabs Goku's neck and starts to crush it, the Saiyan struggling to breathe.

He then grabs Goku's arm and bends it in an unnatural direction, breaking it. The Saiyan's cries would be unheard from Broly, as he then punches him with full force, sending him miles away.

Broly wouldn't have anything to love anymore. All he would want is to kill everything he sees, to destroy what's left. He punches the ground and it breaks another layer, forcing Frieza to fly up.

The emperor laughs, spreading his hands. "This power... It's truly amazing!" Then his smile fades as the brute turns toward him. In an instant, he'd have Frieza by the throat, slamming him onto the ground.

Frieza coughs up spit, before the Saiyan lands on him, his knee in his stomach. Frieza would yell in agony before going into his golden form, swinging a punch at Broly. It lands, but he doesn't budge.

He tries to grab the emperor, but he barely manages to get out of the way, panting. "You bastard... You weren't supposed to attack me, but attack the monkeys! Now I will kill you myself..."

He roars, his body starting to shine some more. He would turn a whiter color, powering up to a form beyond his golden state. He opens his eyes and they sheen, him now being in a state more powerful than his previous.

"Behold! This is... Platinum Frieza!" He yells and launches forward, kicking the brute in the gut. He skids back, but not very far. Goku watches the fight, barely able to move. "Damn... Frieza's gotten even stronger..."

The emperor launches toward Broly and the two exchange attacks. They'd be extremely fast, seemingly on the same level of power. However, Broly would still be stronger.

The buff Saiyan punches him in the face, breaking his nose. The emperor slides back, trying to stop his momentum. Then Broly vanishes behind him and launches a massive beam, consuming Frieza.

Frieza yells, the blast searing him. He'd be sent flying up in the atmosphere before a catastrophic explosion illuminates the entire sky. Goku tries to get up but is unable to. "Tch... I was too careless... I should've gone full power from the start..."

Vegeta manages to get up with just pure willpower, blood dripping out of his mouth and nose. "You bastard... You piece of shit..." He clenches his fists. The brute launches forward and launches an energy blast.

The prince barely dodges it, before launching toward him in his base form, desperately trying to attack him, but it wouldn't do anything. Broly laughs maniacally, before flicking him and sending him crashing back.

Vegeta falls to the ground, unconscious. Goku would be the only one left to fight. He'd pant as Broly walks toward him, laughing like a maniac. "Everything... dies..."

He watches as the brute inches closer and closer to him. "Move... Body... Move!"

Broly stops as he is in front of him then picks him up by his broken arm, making him grunt in pain. "Die!"

He yells and swings a full-force punch toward the Saiyan's chest, but he'd then vanish, confusing him. He turns to see Goku in a different state, but something would be off. His aura would be calmer.

Goku then turns around, as his eyes and hair are now glowing silver, the calm nature of his aura would make Broly falter. He'd have finally entered the Completed Ultra Instinct form again.

He gets into a stance, as the legendary Saiyan roars, launching forward. He'd rapidly barrage Goku, who would be dodging all of the attacks. Goku then brings his fist back and swings it.

It hits the Saiyan and sends him crashing back. He grunts as Goku walks forward, his face expressionless. Vegeta slowly wakes up, looking at the battle. "Looks like... Kakarot... did it again..."

Broly roars and launches a beam at Goku, but he'd dodge it. The legendary Saiyan then launches toward him at full speed, rapidly barraging him. Goku dodges all of his attacks before vanishing behind him, a bunch of blows hitting him from all directions.

He'd be sent flying through the landscape, tumbling across the ground. The brute would feel even more rage, as he powers up further, shattering parts of the planet once again. Electricity flares around him.

Goku squints, preparing himself. "His power has doubled... He's ascended that green hair form..."

Broly raises his hands and charges a giant green energy ball, charging his most powerful attack. Goku gets into a stance, charging a Kamehameha. "KA... ME..."

A glowing blue sphere forms in his hands, as this would soon become his most powerful attack to date. "HA... ME..."

The legendary Saiyan brute roars, launching the massive green attack toward Goku, who would do the same. "HA!"

The massive Kamehameha shoots forward and clashes with the attack, a bright light flickering between the attacks. A shock wave shoots out and vaporizes a large chunk of ground under them, even bigger than the damage the Spirit Bomb caused in the Tournament of Power.

Goku roars, the attacks being even at the moment. He'd be putting most of his energy into the attack. "Shit... I can't do this forever... The damage from the battle is too much..."

After he says that, he'd slowly start to lose the clash. "Everyone... If this blast hits the Earth, it's over... Maybe even the entire universe will be destroyed..." He looks up, his silver eyes shining. "I cannot allow that to happen!"

He yells, his eyes turning white. His blast slowly starts to overpower Broly's blast. The brute yells and powers up even further, launching an energy ball even bigger than before.

It would fuse with his previous one and would even out the clash. The two Saiyans yell, it becoming even more intense than before. Broly would be growing more in power, but Goku would be weakening.

Goku would keep the beam going, but it would start to grow weaker. He'd pant heavily, as the energy ball gets closer and closer. "I... I can't... I'm getting low on energy..."

His hair flickers, him getting close to losing the state once again. Suddenly, Vegeta vanishes next to him, his arms and head limp. "Vegeta, you're too injured! Stay back!"

The prince slowly looks up shakily, his face expressionless. "No... Kakarot... It's always you that takes the win..." Goku's eyes widen in response. "I'm always the one being sidelined..."

Vegeta raises his fists. "You killed Frieza twice... You saved the planet and sacrificed yourself... Your attack led to the defeat of Majin Buu... You became the first Super Saiyan God... And your blast defeated Abysus..."

He enters Super Saiyan Blue Evolution, his massive aura flaring up. "I am not done yet... I am... the PRINCE OF ALL SAIYANS!"

White sparks flare around him, as parts of his hair would start to glow, it flickering in different parts of it. Goku watches in awe. "Vegeta, that's the same power you used against Abysus!"

Goku grunts and falls out of his state, the green energy ball dangerously close to them. Goku falls to the ground, panting heavily. Vegeta looks up, his wavy aura stabilizing.

He raises his hands and yells, catching Broly's blast. The brute would be confused, as Vegeta then yells, a black light encasing it and dispersing it. Goku smiles. "That's... It's like Whis's attack..."

The prince cracks his knuckles, glaring up at Broly. The two launch toward each other and collide, an explosion sending Goku back. "AGH!"

The two Saiyans rapidly clash, faster than Goku can see. For every attack Broly lands, Vegeta would land two. He would be winning the final standoff. They shoot across the air, their auras intertwining with every clash.

Frieza slowly gets up, glancing at Goku. He limps over. "No matter... If I can't beat them, then I will... kill you..."

Goku would be completely unable to move. "Crap... Vegeta's occupied... What am I going to do?"

The emperor raises his finger, charging a beam. "Finally... You die, monkey!" He launches it, but two familiar figures land and stop the blast with combined effort.

Goku slowly looks up to see Gohan and Piccolo. "Y... You guys... You came here to help..."

Frieza clenches his fists. "The Namekian and half-monkey... If you weren't here...!"

Piccolo looks up to watch the final battle between Vegeta and Broly. "Do it, Vegeta... This time, it's your time to shine."

Broly slams a kick into Vegeta's already broken ribs and he'd grunt in pain, twitching. "BASTARD!" He then grabs Broly and shoots down, slamming him down into the ground. "Now for payback!"

He slams his foot on the brute's ribs and shatters him, making him yell in pain. He then raises his hand and charges a dark blast, him somehow subconsciously able to create it with no explanation.

"Disappear." He fires the blast and a dark blast consumes the brute, a massive bright light consuming the area. When it fades, Broly would be in his base form, unconscious.

The prince turns around and smirks, pointing to himself with his thumb. "I win this time, Kaka... Kaka..." He powers down and falls forward, completely out cold.

Piccolo starts to walk over, but Frieza yells, launching toward Vegeta. "I will KILL THE DAMN MONKEY!"

Gohan leaps forward and grabs him by the tail, slamming him on the ground. "I'm not done with you, Frieza. You are the reason this whole thing started."

The namekian leans down and picks up Vegeta over his shoulder. "Goku, what kind of power did he use?"

"I don't know," Goku replies weakly. "But I do know Whis knows what it is... It's extremely powerful, even more so than Ultra Instinct."

This would shock Piccolo. "Stronger than Ultra Instinct?! Isn't that the form of the gods?"

Gohan walks over to help Goku up. "Dad, are you alright?"

Goku grunts. "C... Careful. My right arm is broken." Gohan looks down and cringes at the sight of Goku's misplaced arm. "I'll fix it, but it's going to hurt... a lot."

"Alright," Goku replies. He braces himself as Gohan grabs his arm and snaps it in place. Goku yells in agony for a moment, before the pain would slowly lessen, but it would still hurt a lot.

"We'll get you a Senzu bean. That'll fix your injuries," Piccolo says. "Same for Vegeta."

"Wait, what about him?" Goku points to Broly with his other arm.

"He's our enemy," Piccolo replies, raising his fingers to his head. "I'll finish him off."

"Don't," Goku replies, confusing both Gohan and Piccolo. "Why not?"

Goku slowly limps over to Broly. "He didn't want this. His father has forced him to fight and get stronger. Now that his father is dead, he has nothing to turn to." He looks up. "He could also be a powerful ally."

Gohan sighs. "I'll trust your judgment, dad, but if he acts up like this again, we can't be so forgiving. We'll need to use the dragon balls to repair the damage done to the planet."

He walks over and picks up the buff Saiyan, grunting. "This guy's heavy... You're gonna have to fly on your own, dad. I can't carry both of you."

"That's fine," Goku replies. "What about Frieza?"

As if on cue, the emperor gets up, clenching his fists. "No matter how long it takes... I will kill all of you monkeys, all of you earthlings, all of you namekians!" He flies off at full speed, being gone in seconds.

"We'll let him go for now," Piccolo says, watching this happen. "Even in his current state, he can still take us on with that new power of his. We'll need to put an end to him before he gets too strong, though."

Together, the rest of them fly off, carrying Vegeta and Broly. Frieza flies back to his ship, which would be in ruins. He'd yell in anger and stomp his foot on the ground, cracking it. "Damn them all!"

He walks around and he sees a spare cracked scouter on the ground that came from his ship. He picks it up and taps it. "Hello? This is Lord Frieza. Bring me a new ship at once on planet Earth!"

He would hear no response for a second, but he'd then hear a familiar voice and his eyes would widen. "I'm afraid you're on the wrong frequency, brother... Are you lost?" The voice then laughs.

The emperor yells in frustration, smashing the scouter. "That damn... Cooler! Fine... I will fly back to my empire." He powers up and flies out of the atmosphere at quick speeds.

A dark blob vaguely in the shape of a buff figure would be floating in the middle of space, but not in a familiar one. They would be in a different universe from the others.

It would cough, reforming one of its arms. "I nearly died to those fools... I managed to escape before they caught me."

Dark red eyes form, as the being looks down at their hands. "This time, I won't be so careless. I will annihilate all of the mortals and gods, and allow my father to become the Omni King."

He roars energy shooting out from him. "I, LORD ABYSUS, WILL RETURN TO MY FORMER GLORY! No, even greater. I will be even stronger than Zeno's guards..."

I hope you enjoyed the conclusion to the battle. This rewrite is definitely taking some different turns from the original. So far in terms of story, I personally believe it surpasses After Broly.
