Previously on Dragon Ball Aftermath: Rewrite
Two days later, the Saiyans would be training intensely, having a limited supply of Senzu Beans to restore them when they get tired. They would continue to do this for a while until they get a visitor.
Whis walks into the gravity chamber with Beerus and they turn off the intense gravity. Goku would've launched at Vegeta, but the lower gravity would suddenly make him lose balance and smash into the wall at high speeds, rattling the chamber.
"Ow!" He gets up, turning toward them. "What are you guys doing here?"
"I have bad news, Goku-san," Whis says, a deadly serious expression on his face. "Let's go to Bulma's to discuss it."
Reluctantly, the two Saiyans follow them. They would sit down at the table, a plethora of food prepared for them. They all eat for a little while, until Whis sets down his plate, looking at Goku and Vegeta.
"Abysus is alive," he says.
Chapter Nine
Goku and Vegeta nearly spit out their food as soon as he says this. Goku swallows his food and stares at the angel with a shocked expression. "That's not possible! Zeno's guards destroyed him!"
Whis raises his hand. "Calm down, you two. This is recent news. We've found traces of Abysus's energy around the same area he was presumably killed. There was a trail that led outside universe six, but it stopped."
"I see," Vegeta replies, slamming his fist on the table. "Damn it all! That guy will get stronger and maybe even kill Zeno!"
"That will not happen," the angel replies. "Zeno's guards are the strongest fighters in the multiverse, far above even Daishinkan himself."
Goku would remember the dream he had before he nearly killed Whis. He clenches his fists, and Whis would take notice of this. "We cannot let that dream happen, Goku-san. We don't know if that was Abysus in the dream in the first place."
"I hope it wasn't," Vegeta says. "He mentioned he had a father. If that's true, he might be even more powerful."
The angel's expression stiffens. "Zateus and Omesus... You two must never encounter them. They are dangerous."
"How are we gonna fight those guys?" Goku asks. "If Abysus is truly returning, what are we going to do about it? Abysus was afraid of mortals in the first place, but he can absorb angels. Not only that, he'll get even stronger than before, possibly."
Whis smiles. "I have a plan." He raises his hand, and a glowing orb appears, causing the room to vibrate. The two Saiyans stare at it in awe.
"What is that?" Vegeta asks, sweat going down the side of his face. "This power... It's insane!"
"This is much less than a percent of an angel's power," he explains. "I am going to give it to you to boost your power to greater heights. To be precise, about a million times."
"That will make us stronger than our current Super Saiyan Blue state," Goku says, his eyes wide. "That'll be amazing!"
"Prepare yourself," Whis says, raising his hand. A glowing stream from the orb goes into the Saiyans and they yell, a bright light consuming them and being visible across the city.
When it fades, a large aura would be around them. They would sparkle with energy. Goku looks at his hands, trembling. "This power... It's insane..."
Whis taps his staff and reverses the damages done to the place. "That's right. If you adjust yourself to this new level of power, you'll easily surpass the level of a god of destruction."
Beerus, who would've been eating, perks up. "Easily? Don't make me laugh, Whis. It'll take much more than a million times to defeat me."
"Let's find out then, shall we?" the angel replies. "Let's go to a safe place and you can fight all out."
The two Saiyans step up and the destroyer cracks his knuckles. "I won't lose against you two."
Whis taps his staff and they are suddenly now in a massive wasteland. The two sides leap back and get into a stance, releasing their base form energy. It would be massive, breaking the ground under them.
Beerus smirks, a faint purple aura flaring around him. "I have a good feeling about this..."

"I'll go first," Vegeta says. He launches forward and the two clash a punch, going back and forth rapidly. Bursts of wind shoot everywhere, as the two shoot across the air, explosions destroying parts of the landscape.
Beerus blocks a punch from him, then kicks him in the gut, before elbowing him to the ground. "Not bad, Saiyan. You're certainly stronger than you were before."
The prince smirks and enters Super Saiyan 2, launching up at him at full speed. He yells and kicks him in the gut, catching him off guard. The destroyer coughs up a bit of spit before punching him as well.
The two go back and forth quickly, bursts of wind shattering the ground under them. Beerus roars, launching a beam at him. Vegeta blocks it, being sent flying back. "GAHH!"
He manages to stop himself, part of his armor shaved off. He closes his eyes and enters Super Saiyan Blue, a pillar of energy drilling into the earth. The power would be felt across the universes, alerting some of the gods.
He yells, launching forward. He punches Beerus in the face, sending him crashing through many mountains. He vanishes behind the destroyer and slams him on the ground.
For the first time, he would draw blood from Beerus. He coughs up blood, before Vegeta flips around and swings his foot down, Beerus managing to block it. He glares at him with a deadly serious expression.
He blasts Vegeta, sending him back a bit. He gets up, grunting. "That hurt, prince... THAT HURT!" He roars, his aura becoming massive. He'd enter more of his power, an enormous chunk of ground being erased under him.
He zooms forward and the two clash a kick. Goku watches from below, smiling. "This might be it. My final match with Beerus." He yells. "Hey, Vegeta! Let me take over!"
Vegeta lands next to him, nodding toward him. Goku powers up into Super Saiyan Blue and launches up, clashing a headbutt with the destroyer. "You finally decide to step in, Goku. I think it's time we have our greatest match."
The Saiyan nods as they vanish, shooting across the atmosphere at a rapid speed. They would zoom across the Earth, crashing into cities. Vegeta crosses his arms and smirks. "You get all the fun... Damn you, Kakarot."
Beerus catches Goku's fist and slams him in the face, the wind force breaking a chunk of land under it. Blood spews out from his mouth as the destroyer then slams him in the ground with a lot of force.
Goku grunts and gets up, entering Perfected Super Saiyan Blue. "KAIOKEN TIMES TWENTY!" In an instant, he vanishes above Beerus, grabbing him. He'd fly up out of the atmosphere at full speed, bringing him along.
Beerus would elbow him in the gut, but he wouldn't let go. Goku yells and slams him in the Moon, cracking it. Beerus coughs up blood, clenching his fists. He launches forward and rapidly barrages him, but the Saiyan dodges all of his attacks, being much stronger than him in his current state.
He yells, launching a Kamehameha. It slams into the destroyer, consuming him. A massive explosion almost as big as the Moon happens as a result. Beerus pants heavily, blood going down his arm.
"Go full power, Beerus," Goku says, getting into a stance. The level of Kaioken would have little to no strain on him now. The destroyer would now have no choice. He yells, the sky flashing brightly.
He yells as a massive purple aura shoots up around him, illuminating the Solar System. His muscles bulk up a bit as his aura turns darker, now being a darker purple. A ray of light emanates from him. He opens his eyes, as symbols just like Toppo's destruction form would appear on his chest. His eyes would glow a faint red.
Beerus would yell, his aura growing in size. The sky flashes, as small objects would gravitate toward him. He zooms forward at shocking speeds, now in front of Goku. The Saiyan tries to back away, but the destroyer then simply raises his fist.
He slams it into Goku's gut, making him spit out blood. "This... is how it is to fight Beerus at full power?"
He yells and swings a punch, but Beerus blocks it, his arm shaking. He yells and the two clash a punch, cracking the ground again. The destroyer swings another punch, but the Saiyan dodges and uppercuts him, sending him back.
Beerus launches back down and grabs him, bringing him to the ground with him. They'd slam into it, drilling through the surface. Goku grunts, trying to break out of his grip.
Finally, he'd have enough. Goku yells, and his red aura shoots up, sending Beerus flying back. He gets up, looking at Goku with his eyes wide. "His energy levels are rising! Fifty times... Sixty times... SEVENTY TIMES?!"
"KAIOKEN TIMES... ONE HUNDRED!" Goku roars, the sky turning a red tint. A massive explosion shoots out, sending Vegeta back. Goku roars, a vortex of blue and red energy mixing into a purple color.
The energy of the Kaioken would grow so high, it would overlap his blue power and turn his hair into a pinkish color. "ONE HUNDRED TIMES!"
Beerus gets into a stance, but then Goku shoots forward at speeds he can't keep up with. He slams a punch into the destroyer's gut, and he vomits up blood, his ribs cracking.
He tries to launch a Hakai blast, he wouldn't get the chance. Goku brings his foot back and kicks him with full force, sending him flying forward. The Saiyan then runs up behind him and knees him, stopping him. "GAHHH!"
Beerus pants heavily, before powering up once again. "I AM NOT DONE YET!"
He zooms forward, slamming a punch in Goku's face, causing him to flinch. He then uppercuts him, sending him stumbling back a little. Goku looks down and wipes the blood off his mouth.
He yells and kicks Beerus in the chest, sending him skidding back. The two continue to go back and forth, swerving around each other. Explosions fill the landscape, searing everything.
The destroyer raises his hand, it glowing purple, but then he realizes what he's doing and stops. If he uses it again, he'll be erased by the Grand Priest. "Hmph... Fine. You win this round, Goku."
The Saiyan pants for a moment, but then stops. "I... I don't feel that tired. What the heck?"
"Everything about you has improved," Whis replies. "You have a faster recovery and might even have bigger Zenkai boosts in the near future."
Goku smiles, clenching his fists. "That's awesome!"
The angel walks over to him. "Goku-san, I think it's soon time for you to enter the next stage of Ultra Instinct."
The Saiyan's eyes widen. "You mean..."
He nods. "That's right. The same transformation I used against Abysus. It won't be easy, but if you manage to master it, you might be at the level of an angel."
"At the level of an angel..." He would try to process it but struggles to. "That's insane. You think I'm ready for that?"
Whis nods. "That's correct. You have fully mastered the first stage of Ultra Instinct. Perhaps one day you'll enter stage two. I'll teach you how to."
Goku smiles widely. "I'll be looking forward to that." The destroyer walks over to them, yawning. "That battle made me hungry. Whis, let's go eat at that taco place back in the city."
The angel gets all giddy. "Yes! I've been wanting to try that place." He taps his staff and the two vanish away. After that, the two Saiyans part ways, doing their usual thing for the rest of the day.
After the massive power boost they received, they decide to take it easy after the battle with Beerus for once. Goku does his job to help make money for his family. Vegeta would go into Capsule Corp to see Bulma.

The next day, things are about to take a turn for the worse. Daishinkan stands in his palace, as all the gods of destruction, Kais, and angels would be summoned. They bow down as he turns around.
"I've called all of you here once again because the situation with Abysus has gotten much more dangerous," he explains. Some of the gods shift uncomfortably, now getting nervous.
He closes his eyes. "The timing could not be any worse. The other two are returning..."
Some of the gods gasp, muttering among themselves. They would know who he is talking about. The Grand Priest taps his staff to get their attention again. "That's right. Omesus and Zateus are likely on the move as we speak."
He remains silent for a moment, clenching his staff. "Should Abysus, Zateus, and Omesus come together, there would be no stopping them. The only way we'd have a chance at beating them is Zeno's guards, but we cannot let Lord Zeno know of this."
He turns toward them, a deadly serious expression on his face. "As all of you may know, Omesus is the weakest out of the three of them. He's the very first... Saiyan God."
Beerus clenches his fists, trembling slightly. "I've heard tales of that monster... He's said to be the strongest mortal warrior of all time... Said to be the level of an angel."
Daishinkan nods. "As a result of this, the gods are going on lockdown immediately. Beerus, Whis, you will be exempted from the lockdown. You must return to universe seven to assist Goku and Vegeta. Knowing Omesus, he'll visit them first."
The two of them nod as the Grand Priest walks down the steps toward them. "Zateus is arguably the worst out of them. He's a mastermind, and even I have no clue how strong he's gotten. He must have a plan to reunite with his son Abysus."
"Do we have any chance?!" Quitela blurts out. "We need to take them down together, starting with Omesus!"
Daishinkan turns toward them. "I've already considered that, but the issue is that either Abysus or Zateus could attack Lord Zeno at any moment. We must be on guard. My palace isn't too far from the Omni King's. If either of them approaches him, we will be able to quickly interfere."
"So we must rely on those two Saiyans, huh..." Belmod grinds his teeth. "Damn it... They don't have a chance against a beast like Omesus, even if they fused."
"I am well aware of that," the Grand Priest replies. "That is why I have asked Whis to provide them a very tiny portion of my power, about less than a percent of an angel's power."
Champa's eyes widen. "That much?! They're probably stronger than a god of destruction now!"
"They are," Beerus says, and everybody looks at him. "I fought them, and Goku was able to overpower me. I don't think he was even full power."
"That's good," the Grand Priest says. "We must count on Goku-san and Vegeta-san to defeat Omesus. I have faith in them. We'll take care of Abysus and Zateus, even if it means a Grand Fusion."
He clears his throat. "You are dismissed, Beerus and Whis." The two of them vanish, heading back toward universe seven. With how much distance they've traveled, it would take at least an hour.
An unfamiliar figure flies into the Milky Way at insane speeds. Its power would be absolutely massive. Goku and Vegeta would spar, as usual, explosions riddling the air.
The figure quickly approaches the Solar System, then the Earth itself, and stops above the atmosphere. "So, this is where my remaining kin are residing... How unexpected."
In an instant, he shoots down through the clouds, blowing them away. He lands on the ground a mile away from Goku and Vegeta, shattering part of the land. "Hmm... A peaceful area."
The two Saiyans would immediately be alerted to this immense presence. They quickly fly toward the figure and land a fair distance in front of him. Vegeta gets into a stance, grunting. "Who are you?"
The figure pauses before reaching down and grabbing a handful of soil, examining it. "Interesting planet you two have here." He looks up at them, and they would see him clearly.
It would faintly remind Goku of his brother Raditz. The figure would have long, slightly gray hair, armor that isn't like that of a traditional Saiyan, a tail, and a buff stature.
Goku gets into a stance, a storm cloud passing over them and thundering. "You're a Saiyan, aren't you? I haven't seen you before."
"That's correct," the being replies, walking forward. "So, you two are my kin. This planet houses almost all the remaining Saiyans in this universe. Might I ask, how were they reduced?"
Vegeta crosses his arms. "An emperor by the name of Frieza wiped out Planet Vegeta, our home. The rest isn't any of your business."
The being chuckles. "You have an attitude. I like that. Tell me your names."
"I'm Son Goku," Goku replies.
"I am Prince Vegeta," Vegeta replies.
"Odd names," the figure says. "Son Goku and Vegeta... I will remember your names. I am Omesus, the father of all Saiyans... The first Saiyajin."
This would shock Goku and Vegeta. The first Saiyan? Why is he here?
Goku would smirk. "So, you're the first Saiyan, huh... Your power is insane. I can barely comprehend it."
Omesus smiles. "I am impressed. Your power exceeds my expectations for my descendants. How would you two like to join me in our conquest of the multiverse?"
"Cut the crap," Vegeta replies, raising his fist. "You're just another enemy. Why would we work for you?"
"I can be your friend or foe," Omesus replies. "The choice is yours... If you join me, we will guarantee you survival from the extinction of all mortals."
The two Saiyans wouldn't reply and his smile fades. "I see... Then I'll just kill you two right here. What a shame."
Goku gets into a stance. "Don't underestimate us. We've gotten stronger than even the destroyers." He yells and enters Super Saiyan, a massive golden aura surrounding him.
The Saiyan God examines his form, then laughs. "Interesting! It seems my genes have changed over the generations. My kind has gotten weak."
"We'll see about that," Vegeta replies. He enters Super Saiyan and the two launch toward Omesus, yelling.
