Previously on Dragon Ball Aftermath: Rewrite

Whis lowers his staff, having a saddened expression on his face. "You chose the wrong path, Omesus. I wish it didn't have to be this way. If you had only listened to me, you would've been with us gods, having a family."

"CUT THE CRAP!" Omesus yells, enraged. "You're full of shit, Whis! You forced us to take that path! We had no freedom!"

He launches forward, rapidly barraging Whis, but the angel dodges his attacks. "Your rage has blinded you. Your form isn't effective any longer." He then deflects his punch and presses his staff in the Saiyan's chest.

"You were created to serve the gods, Omesus," Whis says. "However, after your training, you would've had more freedom."

His staff then glows. "Farewell." Omesus yells as a massive dark blast consumes him, a massive explosion occurring.

Chapter Eleven

When the smoke disperses, Omesus would be gone. Whis lowers his staff, powering down. "Are you four okay?"

Goku would be shocked, but he'd manage to speak. "Y... Yeah. I can't believe how strong you are, Whis. You saved us."

The angel smiles, restoring Goku's arm. "You are welcome. That form Omesus used utilized the white divine power. Vegeta, that is what I want you to achieve. We'll call it Super Saiyan White."

Vegeta's expression tightens. "Super Saiyan White...? I see. I must master that power."

"That guy was insanely powerful," Goku says. "Whis had to go all out to take him down. If only I could use that form I used against Daishinkan..."

Whis nods. "I don't know what kind of power you used, but it would help us greatly against Abysus and Zateus. However, you must obtain the next stage of Ultra Instinct. I'll teach you the basics soon, but I need to report back to my father. Lord Beerus, let's go."

The destroyer nods, powering down. Whis taps his staff and they shoot off, leaving Goku, Vegeta, and Broly. Together, the three of them head back toward their planet, it being a long trip.

Universe ?

A tall figure with spiky black hair stands in a dimly lit palace, looking up into space. He looks at the mere hundreds of stars in his view, in a dying universe. The doors open and he turns around to see a familiar being walking toward him. "Who are you?"

The being chuckles, raising his hand and illuminating himself. "It's been a long time, father."

The tall figure pauses, looking closer. "Ah, hello, Abysus. Was your mission successful?"

"I failed you, Father Zateus," Abysus replies to the figure. "I was careless. One of those mortals bought that damn Daishinkan time to charge an attack. I survived, but then Zeno's guard appeared."

"That's fine," Zateus replies, walking over to him. "We still have a chance to destroy the gods. It seems your power has significantly weakened. You are only at the mere level of a god of destruction."

Abysus grunts. "I know. Those damn guards are too powerful. Why didn't we fuse before you sent me?"

"Because it would be unwise," Zateus states. "It would grant us amazing power, but if we aren't careful, Zeno can erase us in an instant. Even fused, his guards could be an issue."

Abysus gets up. "Train me once more, father. I need to get back to my former glory."

"Unfortunately, I don't have time for that," Zateus replies. "However, your ability to absorb White Divine Ki can be... altered, in a way."

"What do you mean?"

He raises his hand, placing it on Abysus's shoulder. "I've been working on this ability for a while now. Your ability will now be able to absorb God Ki as well, so those mortals should no longer pose a threat to you. You will go through a lot of pain, but it will be worth it in the end."

Abysus glows and smirks. "Good. I'll go kill them shortly. Where's Omesus?"

"He's alive," Zateus replies. "I watched him nearly get killed by Whis. I warned him that he wasn't ready to fight, but he didn't listen. He overestimated his own power. I managed to save him just in time."

"What will you do about Zeno's powers?" Abysus asks.

"I will confront him when the time is right," Zateus explains. "If he can pull it off, we will be able to do a triple fusion and... be unstoppable."

Abysus nods and flies off, disappearing from the palace. Zateus's expression darkens as he looks back up at the remaining stars. "... What would you have done, sensei? Is this the right path?"

Abysus flies across the multiverse, entering universe six. He'd be concealing his power. "I will pick off all the mortals first, then I will be strong enough to kill Daishinkan and allow my father to succeed..."

He would shoot toward a planet and land on it, destroying parts of the landscape. It would be Planet Sadala. Moments later, a bunch of Saiyans would surround him cautiously.

[Music: Two Steps From Hell - Requiem for Destruction]

"Who are you?" an elder asks. "You are destroying property! Do you have no self-control?!"

The evil god smiles. "Excuse me, old man... I have absolutely no self-control, which is why you are dead."

The elder pauses, confused, then he explodes into many body parts, blood spewing everywhere. The Saiyans would be shocked for a moment before they get angry and start to attack Abysus.

Their attacks do absolutely nothing, and Abysus raises his hand, vaporizing all of them. He'd raise his power for a split second, alerting the rest of the Saiyans. Not long after, an army of Saiyans would arrive, including Caulifla, Cabba, and Kale.

Cabba's eyes widen and he gets nervous. "That's... the guy that killed us before!"

Caulifla yells and powers up, entering Super Saiyan Two. Then her hair grows longer and she enters a new form: Super Saiyan Three. "Cabba, Kale, we need to go all out against this guy. He won't catch us off guard again."

Cabba enters Super Saiyan Three as well, getting into a stance. Kale yells and enters her Berserk Super Saiyan form. The three of them launch forward toward the evil god.

They yell and begin to rapidly barrage him, who blocks their attacks. He'd only be at the level of an average god of destruction at the moment. He clashes back and forth with them, destroying parts of the terrain.

The rest of the Saiyans watch from a distance, waiting to step in if needed. They shoot across the air and clash at quick speeds. Abysus would laugh but then stop, sending an energy wave at them.

It would hit them, sending them flying back. "That's right. I can't get careless. I have a mission."

Kale shoots behind Abysus and tries to kick him, but he catches it, his arm shaking a little. He yells and slams a punch into her gut, knocking her out of her form. He continues to barrage her, before grabbing her arm and slamming her onto the ground.

He launches toward her, going to finish her off but then Cabba gets in the way, shooting toward him and blocking the attack. It would send him flying but it would buy time for Caulifla to get Kale out of the way.

Cabba gets up but the evil god vanishes behind him, swiping his arm and cutting into his back. The Saiyan coughs up blood as Abysus then mauls him into the ground continuously, before slamming his foot on his back.

The Saiyan yells in agony, losing consciousness. Abysus would continue to kick him, waiting for him to die, but then Caulifla grabs his arm, before trying to throw him. The god would grab her arm and twist it, tearing its skin.

Caulifla screams as Abysus then kicks her in the chest, breaking her ribs. He throws her before launching an energy blast that consumes her and sends her crashing through mountains.

She'd fall onto the ground, clinging to life. The rest of the Saiyans stand there in shock as Abysus raises a finger, charging a massive blast. "Die."

He'd launch it toward all the Saiyans, but it would suddenly vanish. He pauses, raising an eyebrow. He then feels a ton of force hit his back and he almost coughs spit. He turns his head to see Hit. "Who the fuck are you?"

"I'm an assassin sent to kill you," he replies. Abysus clenches his fists. "And who sent you?"

"I cannot disclose that information." Hit suddenly is in front of Abysus, swinging a punch. The evil god dodges it and swings a kick, which the assassin blocks, being launched back a bit.

Abysus launches toward him, swinging a punch. Hit barely dodges it. "Tch..." He time skips behind him and goes to unfreeze it, but Abysus spins around and catches his fist.

The assassin would remember Jiren doing the same back then. Abysus kicks him in the gut, making him cough up blood. The god then leaps up, launching a massive blast at Hit.

He time skips out of the way, the resulting explosion causing a massive crater. Abysus turns toward Hit, spitting on the ground in front of him. "What a cowardly way of fighting. None of you even have God Ki. What a disappointment."

He'd sense something behind him and turn around to see Kale getting up, panting. "What?" Kale then yells, a bright glow enveloping her. "I didn't want to show sister this so soon, but I have no choice!"

She enters a berserk Super Saiyan God form, roaring. She launches forward and vanishes above Abysus, kicking him to the ground. He crashes into it, grunting. She yells and slams a kick on him.

Every attack breaks the ground and she yells, a bright red glow enveloping the planet. She bulks up, no longer having control of herself. She continues to mercilessly attack Abysus.

Hit would watch from a distance, his hands in his pockets. "Something's off... He's not resisting her attacks."

Kale grabs Abysus and throws him up, launching a mouth beam at him. It would land and a massive explosion forces Hit to block the wind. "What power!"

Abysus falls to the ground and lands on his feet, panting. Smoke would curl off him as he looks up, smirking. "Looks like it's working..."

Kale finds herself powering down, her God Ki disappearing. She then passes out from the fatigue, falling to the ground. Abysus yells, a red glow enveloping him. His power level rises exponentially.

He turns toward Hit, his eyes glowing for a moment. "It's your turn, assassin. If only you had God Ki to spare."

"I see..." Hit gets into a stance. "You can steal God Ki, and you said my time skip was cowardly."

This would strike a nerve, as Abysus growls, launching forward at insane speeds. Hit tries to time skip away but he'd be too slow. The evil god grabs him and slams him on the ground.

Hit yells, before swinging a punch. A compressed force hits Abysus, making him flinch a little. "What the hell was that?"

Suddenly, a purple glow envelops him as Hit leaps back, raising his hand. "You've lost. Reinforcements are on the way."

Abysus slowly walks forward, the time cage barely slowing him down. "Something this weak isn't enough to contain me, assassin. I do applaud your time abilities, but it's over now."

He yells and launches a massive blast, but it would be deflected toward the horizon. A buff gray figure would be standing there, along with many others. "Ohh... If it isn't the universe eleven fighters... Here to brutally die once again?"

Jiren walks forward, a red aura around him. He yells then enters full power, a massive pillar of red energy going up into the stratosphere. His uniform wouldn't rip off since he'd have gotten a more flexible one.

Toppo roars and enters his destroyer form, and Dyspo enters his Maximum Light Speed Mode. The rest of the Pride Troopers behind them would power up, preparing to attack.

Abysus raises his hand, charging a massive blast. "As much as I would like to go for round two, I don't have time for your games." He launches a gigantic blast, it being as wide as the Grand Canyon.

It seemingly consumes the Pride Troopers, resulting in a massive explosion. He follows it with another barrage of energy blasts, then launches toward the location, dispersing the smoke.

Jiren and Toppo would've created a barrier to protect them, and they look up to see Abysus shatter the barrier with a punch, going after Toppo. The other Pride Troopers would've been helping Caulifla, Kale, and Cabba.

The evil god tries to grab Toppo but Dyspo kicks his hand out of the way. "JUSTICE-" Abysus grabs Dyspo's leg and throws him with such force that it sends him out of the atmosphere.

"DYSPO!" Toppo growls and yells, raising his hand. "Hakai!" He launches a Hakai orb at the evil god, but he'd catch it, crushing it. "You haven't learned your lesson... Destruction energy doesn't work on me. However, the god ki within your attacks benefits me. I am your worst possible opponent."

A glowing aura flares up around him as he punches Toppo, sending him spiraling back. "Guh! Damn it!" He raises his fingers and launches a Justice Flash or just a "Flash" in this case.

Abysus charges right through the attacks toward Toppo but then Jiren kicks him and he coughs up spit. He'd be sent forward, managing to stop himself. "You... You're annoying. You don't have God Ki."

Hit goes over to Toppo. "You, he can absorb God Ki. Don't use it against him."

Toppo nods, before powering down. "We'll be fine. Jiren doesn't have God Ki. He can win."

Abysus and Jiren launch toward each other, clashing elbows. They clash back and forth, being nearly equal in power. Jiren, with his intense training, would have the upper hand.

He pushes the evil god back, kicking him to the ground. He grunts, getting up as the gray brute launches down toward him, slamming him into the ground. Abysus coughs. "I can't believe it... I'm losing against the likes of them..."

He kicks Jiren and leaps back, gaining some distance. He pauses, feeling a strange sensation. He turns to see Caulifla and Kale fusing, a bright light consuming the area. Kefla walks forward, entering Super Saiyan God. In this state of power, she'd be even stronger than Jiren.

In an instant, she'd kick the evil god around like a ragdoll, not giving him a chance to retaliate. Abysus would be getting angrier and angrier, but he'd be absorbing some of their God Ki.

"STOP IT!" Toppo yells out. "He's going to absorb your god ki!"

Kefla wouldn't hear him, as she continues to knock him around. Jiren joins in and the two pummel him to the ground, resulting in a massive wave of debris. The evil god lays there on the ground, unmoving.

The two of them leap back, thinking they have won. However, the evil god gets up, his eyes darkened in the shadows. "I will not be defeated... BY A BUNCH OF MORTALS!"

A pillar of energy erupts from him, illuminating the galaxy. He roars, as a godly aura surrounds him, plus a golden aura behind him. Jiren, Kefla, Dyspo, and Toppo launch toward them, launching a combined beam.

Abysus opens his eyes as he punches it back to them. It consumes them, sending them flying. "I have reawakened my White Divine energy... The energy of the angels."

Jiren launches forward and swings a full power punch, but he catches it, his hand shaking. The evil god yells and slams his knee into the brute's gut, making him cough up blood.

He then kicks Jiren back, sending him flying into Toppo. Kefla vanishes behind him and swings a punch, it hitting him. He'd flinch, before turning toward her, grabbing her by the neck.

The fusion suddenly finds herself powering down to Super Saiyan 2. "I have absorbed your God Ki... You're of no use to me now."

He blasts her, breaking her Potara earrings. She'd split back into Caulifla and Kale. Dyspo tries to kick him, but he grabs it, crushing his leg. The Pride Trooper yells in agony as he then kicks him into a mountain.

"All of you have lost," he says, raising his hand. "I will destroy you once again. Maybe next time you will learn not to cross me, however strong you may be." He yells and launches it, a massive beam heading toward the rest of them.

Suddenly, a familiar figure zooms forward, having glowing blue hair. He punches it back, sending the evil god flying back. "What the hell was that?"

Vegeta would've arrived with Whis, Goku, Beerus, and a couple of other Z-Fighters.

The prince powers down to base, smirking. "You're out of luck, Abysus."

Toppo manages to get up, panting. "Son Goku, Vegeta..." He coughs. "He can absorb God Ki. Don't use it by any means."

"That's going to be a problem," Goku replies. "We'll have to rely on the base Super Saiyan forms in that case."

Abysus growls. "You two... I will have my revenge for what you've done to me." He launches another beam, which the Saiyans dodge.

Vegeta powers up into Super Saiyan 2, launching toward. Goku does the same as they rapidly barrage Abysus. The evil god dodges, blocks, and counters them. They would go back and forth, shock waves being sent across the galaxy.

Abysus yells and his aura bursts, sending the warriors flying back. Goku yells, charging an attack. "KA... ME... HA... ME... HAAA!" He launches a massive beam toward the evil god.

Abysus blocks it, skidding back. He growls as then the prince vanishes behind him, kicking him into the blast. It explodes and Abysus falls onto his knees. "Hm... Not bad."

Jiren watches in amazement. "How have... they gotten so strong?"

Abysus yells, his aura flaring up again. He grabs Vegeta, slamming him onto the ground. He then launches toward Goku, kicking him in the gut. The Saiyan coughs up spit, being sent flying back.

Goku yells, powering up into Super Saiyan 3. He slams his foot on the ground, cracking it, as he launches forward, bringing back his fist. He uppercuts Abysus, sending him flying up. "GAH!"

The Saiyan vanishes above him, mauling him to the ground. He follows it with a Kamehameha, leveling the landscape. Vegeta watches from a distance, a bead of sweat going down the side of his face.

Abysus gets up, wiping blood off his cheek. He growls and suddenly is in front of Goku, grabbing him by the neck. "No more games. It's time to die... I'll make it painful."

Vegeta tries to intervene, but he is sent flying by a blast from the evil god. Abysus slowly starts to close his hand, starting to crush Goku's neck. He yells, finding it hard to breathe.

The Saiyan then glows red. "This will be risky, but I might be strong enough to do it..." He roars, his power multiplying. "KAIOKEN... TIMES TEN!"

He slams Abysus in the gut, a wave of wind resulting from it. The evil god coughs up blood, tumbling into a mountain. Goku would have combined the Kaioken with Super Saiyan 3. "It worked. I don't even feel that much strain."

Surprise! Goku uses Kaioken with Super Saiyan 3? It isn't as strong as the likes of his god forms, but he doesn't want to allow Abysus to absorb his God Ki, making him stronger.
