Previously on Dragon Ball Aftermath: Rewrite
Goku yells, powering up into Super Saiyan 3. He slams his foot on the ground, cracking it, as he launches forward, bringing back his fist. He uppercuts Abysus, sending him flying up. "GAH!"
The Saiyan vanishes above him, mauling him to the ground. He follows it with a Kamehameha, leveling the landscape. Vegeta watches from a distance, a bead of sweat going down the side of his face.
Abysus gets up, wiping blood off his cheek. He growls and suddenly is in front of Goku, grabbing him by the neck. "No more games. It's time to die... I'll make it painful."
Vegeta tries to intervene, but he is sent flying by a blast from the evil god. Abysus slowly starts to close his hand, starting to crush Goku's neck. He yells, finding it hard to breathe.
The Saiyan then glows red. "This will be risky, but I might be strong enough to do it..." He roars, his power multiplying. "KAIOKEN... TIMES TEN!"
He slams Abysus in the gut, a wave of wind resulting from it. The evil god coughs up blood, tumbling into a mountain. Goku would have combined the Kaioken with Super Saiyan 3. "It worked. I don't even feel that much strain."
Chapter Twelve
Abysus gets up from the rubble, panting slightly. Goku walks toward him, the red aura overlapping his golden one. Abysus roars and launches forward at full speed and the two clash a punch.
He grunts, kneeing Goku, but he would barely budge. The Saiyan then brings back his leg and kicks him, sending him flying once again. Goku continues to barrage him as he is flying backward, not slowing down.
[Music: Two Steps From Hell - Neverdark]
Abysus roars, launching a mouth beam. Goku dodges it before teleporting behind him, grabbing him in a full nelson. "NOW, VEGETA!" Vegeta yells and launches forward in Super Saiyan 2, bringing back his fist.
"DAMN IT ALL!" the evil god yells, a burst of his aura sending the two Saiyans back. He grabs Goku by the arm and slams him on the ground with full force, flattening the surrounding mountains.
Goku grunts, his red aura getting even bigger. "TIMES TWENTY!" He kicks Abysus up, knocking him around. He'd go back and forth at a rapid speed, giving him no time to retaliate.
Finally, the Saiyan launches a full-power Kamehameha. The evil god glares at him, his expression unnerving him, but he would keep firing. "TIMES... THIRTY!"
Abysus raises his hand, summoning his White Divine energy. "Fine. I'll use my full power if you won't use God Ki. I'll simply eradicate you with this next attack..." The energy turns black, the landscape darkening significantly.
Vegeta would realize this is a similar attack to his against Broly. "KAKAROT! RUN!"
"Don't get too cocky, Saiyan brat," the evil god says. "Despite me being not as strong as before, I have far more experience than you... Dark Abolition!"
A massive black beam shoots toward Goku, it having a silent sound. It would collide with Goku's Kamehameha, causing a massive explosion because of the interaction between matter and anti-matter, easily starting to overcome it. "Mere Ki cannot compare to the raw energy of Anti-Matter..."
Goku yells as it collides with him, immediately sending him out of his base form. He falls to his knees, coughing a lot of blood on the ground. Abysus walks toward him, raising his hand to create a Ki blade. "Die!"
He launches forward but is suddenly hit by a massive Final Flash from the side. He grunts, knocking Vegeta's attack away. "You..."
The prince yells, launching a barrage of Ki blasts that collide with the evil god but do nothing other than ticking him off. Abysus glares at him and the mere presence alone makes Vegeta almost power down in shock.
Abysus vanishes in front of him and slices him with the Ki blade, blood spewing out of his chest. Vegeta grunts as he tries to attack the evil god, but it isn't working. Abysus goes to slice his neck off, but suddenly he is stopped an inch away.
A purple hand would be shakily holding Abysus's hand. It wouldn't be Beerus, but it would be his brother, Champa, alongside Vados. Vegeta's hands shake. "You..."
The destroyer yells and slams his fist into the evil god's gut with full force, sending Vegeta flying with the force. Abysus yells, being launched back into the planet's moon.
Beerus lands as well, alongside Vados. "Looks like we made it just in time. You're trying to steal all the glory, Champa!"
His brother growls. "Shut up, asshole. You're just too slow."
Abysus launches back down to Salada, landing in front of the fighters. Suddenly, his power spikes up, and he chuckles, looking up. "Finally, the real gods arrive. I am surprised you're still in this reality, Beerus..."
The destroyer growls, clenching his fists. "I will not make the same mistake in holding back, you bastard."
Toppo gets up, limping over. "Lord Beerus, Lord Champa, that man can absorb God Ki."
Champa squints. "I see. Then we'll have to use brute force."
Beerus smirks, getting in a stance. "It's been eons since we last fought together, brother. As much as I hate working with you, I hate Abysus even more."
His brother smirks, also getting in a stance. "Fine. I'll make an exception this one time."
Abysus cracks his knuckles. "Come!" Suddenly, the two destroyers shoot forward in a blur, their speed being faster than Ultra Instinct Omen. Beerus kicks Abysus's gut, then Champa elbows him to the ground.
The evil god growls, before vanishing in front of Beerus, slamming a punch in his face, sending him back. For some reason, he would smile after his fist makes contact with the destroyer's face.
None of them except for Whis and Vados would notice, but Abysus's power spikes up after this. The two parties clash back and forth, flashes traveling across the air. A combined punch from the two destroyers sends Abysus flying out of the atmosphere.
He yells, launching a massive energy blast, but Champa spins around and kicks it back, forcing him to dodge. This would give an opening for Beerus to kick him in the side.
Abysus tries to grab him, but he vanishes out of the way as Champa uppercuts him, damaging him further. "UGH!" As he is flying up, Beerus goes to maul him to the ground, but Abysus blocks it.
The evil god then kicks Beerus with full force, sending him flying back down to the planet. Champa would vanish in Beerus's path, catching him by the arm and throwing him back toward Abysus.
Beerus shoots toward him at insane speeds, slamming into Abysus. The two would shoot away from the planet, Champa following them close behind. The evil god manages to get Beerus off of him, but then Champa places his hands on his chest.
A pulse shoots from his hands, sending Abysus flying into the star of this system. He roars, shooting from the surface of the star toward the destroyers at a blinding speed.
He grabs them by their necks, launching back down to Sadala and slamming them into it, going almost to the core with the velocity.
Goku, Vegeta, Caulifla, Kale, Cabba, and the rest of the Pride Troopers are sent flying as a stream of purple energy is going into Abysus as he holds both their necks. "Fools... This isn't my only way of draining your God Ki."
Beerus and Champa look at each other and nod, before they roar, a massive pillar of destruction energy shooting out. The evil god is forced back, smiling. "So, I've drawn out your rage. Show me."
A gigantic purple aura flares up around them, lighting up the galaxy. Their muscles bulk up as their auras turn darker, now being a darker purple. A ray of light emanates from them, as symbols just like Toppo's destruction form would appear on their chests. Their eyes would glow red.
Goku weakly looks up. "No! Those... fools! That's what he wants!"
Abysus roars, his white aura reappearing. "Now we will fight as equa- " The two destroyers shoot forward at speeds he can hardly keep up with, tossing him around like a rag-doll.
They would go incredibly fast, trails of energy shooting across the entire planet's atmosphere in seconds. Whis watches from below, observing Abysus's abilities. "He grabbed them by the neck and was able to absorb their God Ki... He also was able to do the same with a punch to the face. Could it be that if he grabs you, he can drain your God Ki, regardless if he's using it or not?"
Goku gets up as Whis taps his staff, healing him. "Goku-san, Lord Beerus and Lord Champa aren't in the right state of mind right now. You must stop them immediately."
The Saiyan nods and yells, powering up into Mastered Super Saiyan Blue, then adding Kaioken times twenty on top of it. The two destroyers kick Abysus down and launch toward him, but Goku vanishes in the way.
He yells, making a huge barrier to stop them in their tracks. They would punch the barrier, as it quickly starts to break. Beerus stares at him, ticked off. "Move, Goku! What the hell are you doing?!"
"Beerus, Champa, you have to stop attacking him!" Goku says, struggling. "God Ki will only strengthen him!"
"Shut up!" Champa yells, cracking a hole in the barrier. "You're in no place to order us around!" The two break the barrier and knock Goku to the side, stunning him. They continue to attack Abysus, who is starting to keep up with them.
"Fine, then I will have to use force," Goku says. He closes his eyes and slowly inhales, a ton of heat radiating off of him. The sudden spike in power would stop the fight as the two destroyers and Abysus look up at Goku.
The Saiyan enters Mastered Ultra Instinct, a faint energy avatar appearing around him before dispersing. "That's enough, you two." He shoots forward at insane speeds, kicking Beerus and Champa to the ground.
Abysus shoots toward him and rapidly kicks him, but he would dodge them with ease. He sends a wind burst that knocks Abysus back, before he shoots to the ground in less than a millisecond, powering down.
Beerus and Champa would be on the ground, forced to power down. They would still be slightly irritated but notice Goku is right and that Abysus has gotten a lot stronger than before.
The evil god hovers down to the ground, landing a fair distance from them. "You have no way to defeat me. You're too weak without God Ki."
A thought suddenly crosses Vados, and she smiles, walking over to Goku and whispering something in his ear. The Saiyan's eyes widen, then he smirks. "Alright. Guess that's what I'll do."
Vegeta turns toward Goku, squinting. "What is he planning?"
The Saiyan turns toward Vegeta. "Vegeta, I'm going to use the Genki-dama. I need for you, Beerus, and Champa to hold him off."
The prince scoffs. "Just like the old days against Buu. Fine. Make it quick, though." He powers up as the three warriors launch toward Abysus, starting to fight him. Goku closes his eyes, raising his hand to the sky.
[Music: Two Steps From Hell - Everlasting (Archangel)]
"Everyone, please lend me some of your energy!" He yells out, as Whis amplifies his voice across multiple galaxies. "Please, raise your hands for the sake of the multiverse!"
A moment later, he would start to gather lots of energy, with Beerus, Champa, and Vegeta giving some of their energy when they can. Whis and Vados also raise their hands, this being a matter on the level of the gods so they are allowed to interfere.
The Pride Troopers, Caulifla, Kale, Cabba, and Hit would lend their remaining energy. The Spirit Bomb would quickly grow to be even bigger than the one at the Tournament of Power. It would almost triple in size.
Abysus would notice the growing Spirit Bomb, starting to get nervous. He pushes back the three warriors and launches toward it, bringing back his hand. He'd charge a White Divine energy blast. "I don't think so!"
Suddenly, Vados vanishes in front of him, stopping him. He would try to attack her, but an invisible force stops him from getting closer. "Damn you!"
The Spirit Bomb would finish, and it would be five times the size of the Tournament of Power's Spirit Bomb. Goku launches it and Vados vanishes out of the way, only for Abysus to be met with the massive energy ball.
The evil god yells and catches it, skidding back. He'd growl, trying to push it back. "What kind of technique is this?! I can feel so many energies... What the hell is going on?!"
He raises his hand and launches an Anti-Matter blast, it starting to cut through the Spirit Bomb. Goku yells and powers up into Mastered Super Saiyan Blue with Kaioken times twenty, slowing it down. "Son of a..."
The weight of it would start to crush Abysus, but he'd continue firing the white divine blast, making it even bigger. "Once this reaches you, you'll be destroyed! No matter how strong one is, they cannot stand up to this power!"
Vegeta powers up into Mastered Super Saiyan Blue Evolution, joining in to try and slow it down. "HAAAAA!"
Beerus and Champa power into full power, as the blast would almost have stopped. Jiren and Toppo would join in, powering up as well. Goku roars, pushing his limits. "KAIOKEN TIMES FORTY!"
The anti-matter blast is dispersed, as the Spirit Bomb begins to crush Abysus. He grunts, crashing through the floor. "It's so heavy! I... I have to risk it all on one blast! I have to use the accumulated God Ki!"
He raises his hand and summons all of his white divine energy and God Ki into one blast. He roars, a catastrophic anti-matter beam starting to pierce through the Spirit Bomb even quicker this time.
"DIE!" Abysus roars, his irises disappearing. The blast becomes even bigger, almost reaching Goku. Goku yells, red energy consuming everything. "KAIOKEN... TIMES ONE HUNDRED!"
His hair turns red, electricity dancing across the land. The blast slows down, but not by much. "Damn it!" He roars, pressing on with full force. The blast is about to break through and hit them, as Vegeta watches silently.
Time slows down around him. He stares at the dark blast slowly surfacing. "Everything I've built up until now... All my power... If we die here, it'll all be for nothing." He lets out an ear-piercing yell.
White flashes across his hair, it almost completely overshadowing the dark blue. His eyes glow white for a split second as suddenly the Spirit Bomb turns black, with it being white toward the center.
Goku's eyes widen. "Is that... Vegeta's done it again! He's used that same energy as against Broly... He put it in the genki-dama!"
Immediately, Abysus's anti-matter blast is dispersed, and he watches with fear. "How can this be?! A mortal achieving white divine energy, the angelic power?! SHIT!" He tries to stop the blast, but it would consume him.
A massive explosion wipes out part of the planet, a blinding light overshadowing all the stars in the sky. Whis and Vados put a barrier around the fighters, as tons of particles hit it.
Vegeta would try to obtain the power and would get close, but he ultimately powers down to base, panting. "Tch... We did it..."
The smoke cloud is blown away, as Abysus is there, half of his body gone. He'd shake, falling to his knees. "I survived..."
Whis looks down with concern. "This is not good." Abysus clenches his fists, as his body begins to regenerate. The fighters watch on in shock as he regenerates, before roaring, an explosion blowing everything back.
The white divine energy from the Spirit Bomb would have made him even stronger. He yells, a massive glowing aura around him. He looks at his hands. "I'm getting closer to my prime as each second passes... I thank you, Saiyan prince..."
Vegeta growls, enraged. "That's impossible..." Whis and Vados disperse the barrier, healing everybody. Goku powers up into Ultra Instinct, and Vegeta powers up into Mastered Blue Evolution.
Cabba, Kale, Caulifla, Hit, and the Pride Troopers power up as well. The evil god walks out of the crater, looking at all the fighters. "Show me what you have left, if you can..."
They all yell, launching toward him. They barrage him from every angle, utilizing their attacks. Abysus takes their attacks, barely moving. "That is tasty God Ki, but I've had enough now."
He swipes his hands and sends them flying, knocking them out of their forms. "Now... Who do I kill first?"
Whis and Vados prepare to launch toward him, but he raises his hand, summoning his staff. "You two cannot attack me. All angels can be easily absorbed into it."
He raises his finger and looks at each of the fighters, spotting Cabba. Vegeta would notice and try to stop it, but it would be too late. He launches a massive blast, and it consumes Cabba.
Vegeta flies over to him, and Cabba would be on the ground, shaking. "Master..." Part of his upper body would be gone.
The prince turns to Goku. "KAKAROT! SENZU BEAN!"
Goku looks guilty. "I never brought any, Vegeta..."
Vegeta yells in frustration, turning toward Cabba. "Cabba, stay with me! You're a proud Saiyan warrior of universe six!"
Cabba smiles weakly. "I'm losing... too much... blood... I can... I can barely see.."
The prince tries to give as much energy as he can, but it wouldn't help. Cabba coughs up blood, as he stops shaking. He closes his eyes, smiling. "Sorry, master... I failed you. I'm too weak. You had to help me during the tournament... Forgive me..."
He stops speaking, and Vegeta sets him down, getting up. He clenches his fists and Abysus laughs, walking toward him. "I didn't know you had such a connection to the brat..."
The prince's hair waves in the air, as the evil god's words go unheard. He stares at Cabba's lifeless body, then turns toward the evil god. Abysus laughs, before raising his fist and swinging it toward him.
Suddenly, it is caught by the prince, his expression unchanged. "I will fucking kill you for what you've done to my student..."
Abysus's eyes widen as Vegeta then explodes with energy, his hair flashing white.
