Seji would've slightly refined his skills after years of very little activity. Right as Seji finishes his spar, the entire wall would explode, sending a burst of wind that affects the entire universe with its energy.
Goku raises his arms to block it, grunting. "Shit... They're here already?! This power... It can't be..."
A buff Saiyan walks forward, electricity dancing around him. It would be Omesus, the original Saiyan God. He'd have gotten many times more powerful since the last time he fought his kind.
Behind him would be a tall figure with short black hair and red irises. He'd have a resemblance to his son Abysus. He looks around, evaluating all the fighters currently turning toward him.
Whis grips his staff tightly, squinting at him. "There he is. Zateus... The first mortal."
Chapter Sixteen

The Grand Priest and Zateus make eye contact, staring each other down. Everybody watches as Omesus slowly walks forward. "Hello again, Whis... I see my kin are here too."
The angel squints at him. "Omesus. I thought you had perished during our last battle."
The brute cracks his knuckles, a massive aura shooting up around him. "This time, things will be far different. I will go all out... FROM THE START!"
He roars, beams of divine energy shattering the floor of the palace, collapsing parts of it. He enters Super Saiyan White, his full power. His energy would be massive, its power off the charts.
Vados watches, having just been healed. She would have fought Daishinkan when he was controlled, but she'd have stood no chance against her father's power.
Vegeta walks forward and he smirks. "Know your place, Omesus. You might've been the strongest Saiyan for millions of years, but..."
He yells, entering Super Saiyan White as well. Black electricity coils around him, the weight of his power collapsing the other half of the palace, leaving nothing left behind of it.
Omesus's eyes widen, as he clenches his fists, grinding his teeth. "You... How did you do it?! You obtained my form?! Nonsense! Your genes... They were diluted from mine!"
The prince chuckles, raising his fist. "It's only right that I obtain this power! I will kill you myself."
Goku gets into a stance as well, entering Ultra Instinct. Behind him, Beerus powers up into his full power, and Whis enters Ascended Ultra Instinct.
"Never thought I'd see the four of us work together," Goku says. "I will use a new combination. I'm able to do it now that I've completely perfected Ultra Instinct."
He closes his eyes, a blue aura surrounding him. His hair spikes up, turning a light blue. He opens his eyes, having combined Super Saiyan Blue and Ultra Instinct. "I can't maintain this for long, and it isn't nearly as powerful as Vegeta, but it'll help."
Broly walks forward, powering up into Legendary Super Saiyan three. "I won't be left behind. I'll join this battle as well."
Together, the five of them launch forward toward the Saiyan God, who gets in a stance. Together, the four of them would rapidly clash with him, sending explosive shock waves across the universe.
The rest of the angels, destroyers, and Daishinkan watch the four of them attack. Omesus's eyes dart around, having a bit of fun with this battle. He'd clash with their attacks, starting to press on with more force.
Beerus yells, launching a massive barrage of glowing Hakai orbs. Omesus leaps out of the way toward Goku, who would punch him in the back, hardly making him flinch.
He tries to grab Goku, but he dodges, launching a Kamehameha. The brute slaps it away with his hand toward Beerus, who'd try to block it but is sent flying far back. "AGHHHH!"
"BEERUS!" Vegeta growls, launching forward at full speed. He brings back his fist, covering it in white divine energy. He swings it, landing a direct hit on Omesus's face.
The brute glares at him, grabbing his hand and slamming him to the ground. The prince coughs up blood, before being thrown. He stops himself, launching toward Omesus again.
Broly joins him, the two attacking simultaneously. Omesus grins widely, parrying each of their punches. He uppercuts Broly, sending him flying up. He then blocks an attack from Vegeta, the two clashing back and forth.
Vegeta yells, trying to attack him, but he would be losing in his new form for the first time. The Saiyan God punches him in the face, sending him flying back. He then vanishes behind the prince, kicking him up.
Broly shoots behind him alongside Whis. The Legendary Saiyan swings a punch, but Omesus catches it, before grabbing him and throwing him up toward Vegeta, the two colliding in midair.
Whis rapidly barrages him, sending him back a little bit. He then grins, launching forward and clashing a punch with him, breaking another layer of the ground. He'd barrage the angel, who'd dodge his initial strikes, but then one lands, sending him flying back.
His strength would still be unmatched, sending a tremor through the angel's body and breaking his bones, sending him flying back. "Don't forget... Physically, I'm still currently the strongest mortal."
Suddenly, Beerus vanishes behind him, front flipping and slamming his foot in his back. It would do nothing, as Omesus then grabs him, bringing back his fist. The destroyer's eyes widen, as he gets scared.
"LORD BEERUS!" Whis yells, but Omesus swings a punch. Just then, it stops... The Saiyan God stares at Beerus, his eyes widened. He'd have been the one to stop it.
Goku watches from a distance, shocked. "He... Did he hesitate against Beerus? Why?"
The Saiyan God lowers his fist. "You look just like him..." He then grabs Beerus, throwing him, but not with full force. The destroyer lands on the ground, unhurt. He'd be completely paralyzed from confusion, fear, and anger.
Goku powers up, feeling his combined forms slowly fading. "I have no choice... If I use Kaioken, my Ultra Instinct will disappear in less than a second due to the violent nature of the technique... I have no choice."
He yells, his muscles bulking up. He yells, an explosion of energy tearing more of the land apart. "KAIOKEN... TIMES THREE!" His body would feel like it is tearing itself apart, as he launches forward, having combined Kaioken with Ultra Instinct and Super Saiyan Blue.
He slams a punch on Omesus, making him skid back a little. Goku then powers down to his base form, panting heavily. The brute towers over him, a massive aura surrounding him. "Your friend might've obtained my transformation, but I have more experience using its power."
Suddenly, Broly vanishes behind Omesus, in a more menacing form. Omesus turns around to see Broly using the True Legendary form he used against Merus. "What is that? I haven't seen that before."
The Legendary Saiyan's aura spreads across the ground like flames, illuminating the area with a green light. He laughs, having completely lost himself. He brings back his fist, swinging it at Omesus.
Omesus clashes with his punch, a vortex of green energy surrounding them. The Saiyan God watches, intrigued, as Broly rapidly barrages him. Omesus counters the attacks. "I see. It's like the True Super Saiyan energy... He's somehow ascended it, but it has completely taken over his personality."
He yells, uppercutting the brute, but Broly looks back at him, not feeling any pain, but would have sustained a lot of damage. He yells, releasing a massive barrage of energy beams everywhere. His power would be completely unrestrained.
"It took Vegeta in Super Saiyan White and me with my Ultra Instinct and Super Saiyan Blue combination to defeat him," Goku explains to the other angels. "He had no restraint. At this rate, he'll grow so strong that he might explode."
The beams Broly launches would get bigger, as every angel creates a barrier around everyone except Omesus and Broly to protect against the blasts. Zateus raises one hand, the blasts simply swerving around him.
The Legendary Saiyan's attacks consume everything, a massive explosion destroying multiple galaxies around them. When the smoke fades, there'd be no signs there was a palace in the first place.
It would be a barren wasteland, scorched by the raw power that Broly released. The smoke disperses, and Omesus would be standing there, his arms raised to block it. There would be huge burn marks on them.
He lowers them, an expression of satisfaction on his face. "Hmph... Not bad. All of my kind should've been as powerful as you and dominated the multiverse. No matter, though. It's time to end this."
Broly stands there, not feeling his fatigue, although his aura would've gotten much smaller. He launches forward, slower than before, barraging Omesus. The Saiyan God takes it, barely moving from his attacks.
Omesus brings back his fist, covering it in white divine energy. "Time to shatter all of your bones with this one punch. You'd be lucky if you survived this."
He yells swinging it. Broly's eyes widen, him regaining consciousness right as a barrier appears in front of his face. Omesus's fist slams into it, shattering it. Multiple more barriers stop his punch, as he gradually breaks through each one of them.
At the last barrier, it nearly breaks, but finally stops his attack. The resulting shock wave would've still sent Broly tumbling back out of his transformation, unconscious.
Omesus turns to see all eighteen of the multiverse's angels in a stance. "Hmph... Finally, a challenge. I will take all of you on."
In an instant, all the angels launch off, creating a sparkling trail. It would give Goku and Vegeta deja vu from the first fight against Abysus. All the angels work together in perfect synchrony.
They would be so fast, it would be as if they are flying everywhere at once. They rapidly clash with Omesus, who would be struggling heavily. He grunts, trying to barrage them.
Most of them would dodge the attacks, a few of them launched down to the ground and injured. The others would be damaging him with various coordinated attacks.
Omesus gets angry and roars, his massive aura blowing them back. He launches past them and heads toward Whis, swinging a powerful punch. Merus intervenes and raises his staff to block it.
His staff breaks and the punch nails him in the gut. His irises fade away, as he falls to the ground, unconscious. Whis would get angry as he launches forward at blinding speeds.
He slams a punch on Omesus's face, making him grunt. Vados then vanishes behind him, raising her hand. She chops him to the ground, sending debris everywhere.

He gets up and continues fighting with all of the remaining angels. For some reason, he wouldn't be targetting the ones from universes thirteen to eighteen as much as the others.
Daishinkan watches, scrunching his eyebrows. "What's going on?"
Zateus watches the battle, then raises his hand. "No need to pretend anymore, Omesus. Let them have their revenge."
Omesus nods toward the angels from Universes thirteen to eighteen, as they suddenly turn toward the rest of the angels, attacking them. Daishinkan watches in shock and disappointment. "So, they desired revenge against Zeno for erasing them. Zateus must've brought them to his side in their moment of weakness. This is not good..."
With Omesus and the five angels assisting them, they would push back the remaining angels. He punches Vados back, sending her flying far back.
Whis vanishes behind him, going to slice his neck, but he catches it. His hand shakes as he looks up, smirking. "Finally... Now I get to pay you back for all those years when we were kids."
He slams him on the face, the ring around his neck shattering. The angel grunts, as Omesus rapidly barrages him, each attack being as loud as an explosion. Whis coughs up blood, being critically injured.
The remaining good angels try to save him, but the bad ones would stop them in their tracks, clashing with them. In a desperate attempt, all of the destroyers power-up, launching toward Abysus.
All of the destroyers combined manage to stop Omesus for a moment, as Beerus takes Whis, flying him away. "Whis, we must do that technique that only you and I know. It'll be enough to take him down."
Whis opens his eyes weakly. "My lord... Are... you sure? It's risky. It could be permanent."
"Just do it!" the destroyer replies, as Omesus would've already taken down each one of the destroyers except for him.
The angel nods as a bright light engulfs the two of them. A new figure appears. Whis would've used a similar fusion technique to Daishinkan.
Whirus turns around toward Omesus. The Grand Priest watches on, intrigued. "A fusion between angel and destroyer... Interesting."
The Saiyan smiles. "Show me your true power."
Whirus raises one hand, creating a Hakai orb in it. In the other, he'd summon white divine energy. "This will be extremely dangerous and is forbidden by my father. I hope he will forgive me for this."
He turns toward Daishinkan, who nods. He then presses his two hands together, infusing the Hakai orb with white divine energy. Its power consumes him, electricity incinerating massive chunks of the landscape.
The power of destruction would be amplified to the level of the angels. He yells, a massive glowing white aura surrounding him. The pure energy coming from him would erase many, many galaxies.
"I can't believe it," Vegeta says. "Beerus and Whis can fuse? A destroyer angel... Such pressure..."
Whirus launches forward, entering Ultra Instinct Stage two on top of his white divine Hakai aura. He'd appear in front of Omesus at speeds that can nearly hold a torch to Daishinkan's.
The Saiyan would be taken aback, as the destroyer angel slams a punch on his face, sending him flying back. "AGHHHH!"
Whirus vanishes behind him, kicking him to the ground. He then raises his staff, charging a deadly, dark purple blast. He yells, launching an Anti-Matter Hakai blast at the Saiyan.
He barely manages to avoid it, as the attack goes clean through the floor, incinerating parts of reality. Whirus then vanishes behind him and slams him to the ground. The brute coughs up blood, unable to fight against this new being.
The angelic destroyer then raises his hand, a flickering white and purple orb appearing. "Your time is up, Omesus... Hakai-"
Suddenly, he feels an overwhelming presence, as his Hakai would've been stopped by something. "What?!"
He suddenly feels fear, despite his powerful fusion. He slowly turns around to see red eyes piercing into his. It would be Zateus, having been following Whirus without him even knowing.
The fusion spins around and swings a punch, but Zateus deflects it. He closes his eyes, as suddenly a massive force sends Whirus flying to the ground with great speed.
"Sorry about this," he says, as Whirus defuses back into Beerus and Whis. "I cannot let you kill my only comrade."
He goes over to help Omesus up. "Rest for now, Omesus. I will protect you and fight the remaining obstacles."
Zateus walks forward, each step echoing across the vast wasteland that used to house Daishinkan. He stops when he is a fair distance away from the remaining fighters, unmoving.
Daishinkan would ask a question he's had on his mind for a while. "Who was the one that mind-controlled me, Zateus?"
The evil god's expression remains unchanged. "I will not disclose that information unless you can defeat the both of us..."
He turns toward Goku and Vegeta. "So, your energies feel familiar. I assume you are the ones that killed my son?"
Vegeta walks forward, crossing his arms. "I killed the bastard. He was foolish to attack us."
Zateus turns toward him. "I see. I'm not cruel as he was, but... I simply cannot let the fact that you were the one responsible for it pass."
The prince completely stops in his tracks, his eyes widening. Zateus releases some of his divine ki, Vegeta's vision turning black and white. He falls to his knees, trembling, as he sees a massive pair of red eyes staring down at him, judging him.
He would feel the dark power and would grind his teeth. "T... This presence... It's unbelievable... It's like Abysus back during the first battle, but heavier."
Vegeta then yells, breaking out of it with all of his power. Zateus slightly smiles. "Oh? Not bad. You escaped my Judgement Lock. I can now see why you were able to kill Abysus."
The prince pants heavily, sweat dripping on the ground beneath him. "He... he could've killed me right then, but he didn't..."
The evil god walks forward again toward the fighters, red lightning rapidly striking the ground in the distance. "I may not be quite as powerful as Abysus was in his prime, but that will not stop me."
Daishinkan hovers down next to the fighters, raising his hands. He heals each of the fighters and good angels, fully recovering them. Goku, Vegeta, Broly, all the destroyers, and thirteen angels, including Merus, and Daishinkan would stand side by side.
The Grand Priest raises his finger. "Attack him now!"
Goku powers up into Ultra Instinct, Vegeta powers up into Super Saiyan White, the destroyers power up into their full power, and the remaining angels enter Ultra Instinct Stage 2. (Which will be what it is referred to from now on)
First, the destroyers launch forward, rapidly attacking Zateus. He'd stand there, taking their attacks as if they are nothing. Daishinkan walks forward. "All destroyers, I give you permission... to use your forbidden attacks."
Beerus's eyes widen. His attack would've nearly gotten him erased, and now he is allowed to use it. He only used it once against Abysus.
Simultaneously, all eighteen destroyers stand in a circle around Zateus, their hands raised. They all charge up different ultimate Hakai attacks they created over the years.
Beerus raises his hand. "I am the authority of Universe Seven, God of Destruction Beerus. You will be erased with the rest of the cosmos. Judgment will now be passed onto you, Zateus."
He flickers, as more and more galaxies would disappear. "100%... Absolute Hakai... Disappear." Simultaneously, all of the other destroyers would fire their forbidden attacks as well.
A bright explosion outshines all the stars, all the galaxies.

I find it interesting that now two chapters end with Beerus using his ultimate technique. I hope you enjoyed this absolutely insane chapter. Things will be even crazier the next one.
