Previously on Dragon Ball Aftermath: Rewrite

Daishinkan weakly turns toward Goku. "That... power... Son Goku, come... over here... There's... something we need to do for you..."

Goku runs forward, and Zateus wouldn't stop him, surprisingly. "Daishinkan! You're going to be okay!"

Whis tries to get up, but cannot. "Goku-san, there's a... secret form we will give you to defeat him, a form that will boost your Ultra Instinct Stage 2. But... It..."

Vados stares the Saiyan in the eyes. "It will require... a sacrifice of all of us angels."

Chapter Eighteen

Goku closes his eyes. "I won't let you do that. Without you guys, the multiverse will be doomed."

"It will give you enough power to save it," Daishinkan replies. "When it does, Zeno will come without a doubt. You must end it quick. If he gets angry, he could erase everything."

The Saiyan then pauses and smiles, turning toward Vegeta. "Sacrificing all of you won't be necessary. Would you guys need fewer sacrifices for a fusion?"

Daishinkan ponders this. "Perhaps. What are you planning?"

Before Goku can answer, the evil angels would surround them, having let Zateus fight alone for a while. They all raise their staffs, charging a powerful attack. Zateus walks over, ready to incinerate the angels.

The Saiyan flies over to Vegeta, grabbing him and flying away. "GCH... Kakarot! What the hell are you doing?!"

Goku sets him down. "Vegeta, there's no time. We haven't had much practice with it, but we have to do the Fusion Dance."

With all his strength, Whis gets up and flies over, being guarded by other injured angels. "Goku, Vegeta... You're planning to do the Metamoran Fusion Dance?"

Vegeta scoffs at Goku. "Whatever. Not like arguing will work with you."

The angel nods, raising his staff. "I know about the Metamoran Fusion, of course, being an angel. I will correct your movements, so you are less likely to fail."

Zateus raises his hand, signaling for the evil angels to back off. "End of the road, Daishinkan, all of you angels. You've caused enough pain. It's time to die."

He yells, charging a massive blast. Right before he fires it, a massive burst of wind stops him, surprising him. "What's this energy?"

Zateus turns to see beams of energy shooting toward him. He blocks them, being knocked back. "Ghh... What's this force?"

A new fusion flies over, landing on the ground. Its aura would be small and pulsating. It would be light pink. "My name is... Gogeta!" He powers up, now in a combination of Super Saiyan White and Ultra Instinct Stage two.

Daishinkan watches from below. "Gogeta-san, I will prepare the technique. I need you to buy me time to do it."

Gogeta smirks, launching forward at blinding speeds. He brings back his fist and nails it into Zateus's gut, sending him skidding back. "Gck! Shit... This must be a fusion technique. I got too careless about those mortals!"

The fusion flies toward him, zig-zagging around him. He then shoots in front of him, launching a beam. Zateus dodges it, kicking Gogeta into the ground. "A fusion between two beings on the level of an angel... Impressive."

He then pauses, remembering what Daishinkan told Gogeta. He immediately shoots toward the Grand Priest, launching a dark red beam at him to incinerate him. Gogeta intercepts and gets into a stance.

"ANTI-FINAL KAMEHAMEHA!" He launches a massive swirling blast that clashes with Zateus, causing visible tears to appear in the universe. "HAAA... HAAA!"

Gogeta's blast overpowers the evil god, sending him flying back. "GAHHH!"

He crashes through the ground, coughing out blood. "What kind of technique is this?! The Angelic Fusion technique shouldn't be this powerful!"

The fusion lands in front of him, smirking. "This is a different technique. Maybe I won't need Daishinkan's technique to kill you!"

He yells, swinging a punch, but then Zateus powers up, knocking him back. "What the?!"

The evil god zooms forward, the two shooting through the air and clashing. Zateus glares at him and puts him in a Judgement Lock, but he easily breaks out of it. "Looks like you're getting desperate, Zateus."

Zateus covers his body with white divine energy, attacking him at full speed. Gogeta responds by briefly using Kaioken, slamming him into the ground with full force. He gets up, holding his gut.

"Destroy him!" He yells, raising his finger. All the evil angels launch toward Gogeta, beginning to fight him. He'd be easily dealing with them, having fun with the battle.

That would be his biggest mistake. Zateus tosses a black earring at Omesus. "Let's do this, my friend. We will become the ultimate warrior!"

Daishinkan would notice and yell out, "GOGETA-SAN! STOP HIM!"

Gogeta launches forward but lets his guard down as he is punched in the face. It wouldn't hurt but distract him. Omesus puts the earring on, as the two warriors fly toward one another.

[Music: Sosuke Aizen battle theme song]

Immediately, the entire multiverse trembles. Cracks in the cosmos would appear, slowly tearing it apart. Explosions tear apart star systems, galaxies, and even parts of universes.

Massive pillars of light shoot out from the ground, illuminating the universes. The two Zenos immediately would notice and would be confused. Their guards look up at the flashing cosmos, getting nervous.

The Z-Fighters watch the events unfold from Earth, the cosmos outshining the Sun. The namekians, the yardratians, the Pride Troopers, the Frieza Force, and many more would witness the chaos.

In the center of the area, a new figure would appear. It would be Ozatus, the ultimate warrior. He'd be in his base form, but his energy would still unnerve even Gogeta.

He opens his eyes, hovering in the air above them. "Good. Now, not only will the gods perish, but I will avenge my son's death."

"This being… He's even more powerful than Abysus was back in his prime," Seji says.

Quitela clenches his fist. The gods of destruction have been too weak to interfere. "You're FULL of CRAP!" All the gods of destruction power-up, flying toward the fusion.

"STOP IT, YOU IDIOTS!" Gogeta yells.

Ozatus's eyes remain expressionless, as Geene shoots behind him, trying to slice his neck. He'd stand there, unaffected. He raises his finger, as suddenly blood spews from Geene. His stomach opened up with a slice.

He falls to the ground, barely clinging to life. Liquiir would be best, but the evil fusion then vanishes behind him in less than a quintillionth of a millisecond, the fox's arm flying off. "AGHHH!"

Beerus would hesitate, sweat going down his face. Quitela roars, his hand raised. "HAKAI!"

The destruction energy doesn't affect him, as Ozatus turns around. "Useless." A slice goes through Quitela's neck, and he pauses. Beerus watches as his head flies off and gets angry at his helplessness.

He roars, launching forward. He raises his hand. "ABSOLUTE... HAKAI!"

Before he can use it, Ozatus catches his hand. "Zydis..."

The destroyer stops, feeling like he's heard that name before. The fusion then throws him to the ground, not being as brutal on him as he was with the other destroyers.

Seji enters Ultra Instinct Stage 2, launching forward. He brings down his hand, a massive energy fist appearing. "FIST OF ZALAMA!"

It hits Ozatus but doesn't scratch him. "Bold move to call that technique the 'Fist of Zalama'. If it really was his fist, I might be dead by now."

The sage watches in horror as Ozatus launches a beam through his chest. He falls to the ground, powering down. Broly yells, entering full power. Seeing everyone get hurt would enrage him. He roars, his aura turning into green flames. He enters the True Legendary state.

He launches toward Ozatus, kicking him. However, the fusion wouldn't move even from this powerful attack. He places a finger on Broly's chest before a massive beam shoots through his chest.

Broly falls unconscious, falling to the ground. Gogeta powers up and flies toward Ozatus, clashing with him.

The evil fusion parries all of his attacks, before uppercutting Gogeta, sending him flying. "AGH!"

He stops himself, briefly using Kaioken. He zooms around Ozatus, barraging him from every angle. These attacks would knock around the evil fusion, and he grunts. He then powers up into the last transformation Gogeta would expect.

He enters True Legendary Super Saiyan, Gogeta's attacks now being ineffective. "No way... This fusion has more transformations?!"

Ozatus chuckles, before knocking Gogeta to the ground. He grunts, getting into a stance. But suddenly, Daishinkan grabs his leg. "Gogeta, it's ready. Please forgive me, Cognac, Marcarita, and... Vados."

Gogeta's eyes widen as he turns around. Vados smiles at him, as she begins to crumble, her essence going into the Grand Priest. "You can do it. I know you can."

The fusion nods, as he suddenly feels amazing power coursing through him. Daishinkan pours his energy into him, alongside the remaining good angels. Gogeta's aura flares up, getting even stronger than before.

His stage two would get a massive boost in power. Three glowing rings form behind his head, one for each angel. Wings of energy would form out of his back, and he roars, the ground exploding.

Ozatus watches from above. "I see. The angels have discovered a way to break Stage 2's limits. This power... It's impressive. It's almost like a third stage."

Gogeta inhales, then exhales slowly. He then opens his eyes, instantly in front of Ozatus. "WHAT-"

He then slams a punch on his face, a massive explosion of energy sending Ozatus flying across the universe. "AGHHHH!"

The evil fusion stops himself, launching back toward Gogeta. The two clash back and forth, going through different layers of reality. Ozatus punches him in the face, but he barely budges.

Gogeta roars, slamming his fist into his chest with full force. Ozatus flies back, yelling. He then gets angry and powers up into Super Saiyan White. "Even as a Dark Fusion, two mortals have managed to do the impossible and hurt me."

The Saiyan fusion chuckles. "You two will eventually split up. The time limit of Potara fusion isn't as long as the Fusion Dance."

Ozatus smiles. "The Dark Potara Earrings last much longer than the ones created by the Kais. They can last up to twelve hours. That's more than enough time."

He shoots forward at ridiculous speeds, grabbing Gogeta and throwing him into a nearby star. "I'm not full power, and yet I can defeat you in an instant."

The star explodes, and Gogeta yells, his aura flaring up to be even bigger. "I'm not done yet!"

He launches forward, kicking Ozatus back. He then crosses his arms and spreads them, pouring energy into the evil fusion. He'd use a Meteor Explosion, a colossal beam of energy consuming the evil god.

He then raises his hand, creating a Stardust Breaker. He yells, launching it at the fusion, but he dodges it. Smoke would curl off of him, as he'd be almost entirely unscathed by Gogeta's attack.

The fusion watches in horror as he feels himself splitting apart back into the two Saiyans. Ozatus raises his hand, charging an energy ball bigger than an entire star. "I could've spared you two, had you not interfered in the first place. It's over now."

Goku and Vegeta then feel themselves being teleported back to the area where the palace used to be, as they see a massive explosion almost consume all of them. Goku turns to see Daishinkan with his hand raised.

"This is bad," he says, panting. "We're out of options. Ozatus can get to Lord Zeno with no obstacles. If he destroys him, it's over."

Ozatus appears above them, charging an energy ball even bigger than the one before. "The angels with me escape this area."

The evil angels barely get up from Gogeta's beating earlier, but they would escape. The evil god launches the massive energy sphere toward the fighters, its gravity tearing everything apart.

"Is this it?" Vegeta asks himself. "Tch... We're out of options. Kakarot, you have to use that form!"

The sphere would be so powerful that it would have gravitational lenses around it. It would attract nearby stars. Goku feels himself uncontrollably levitating toward it. "VEGETA!"

The prince leaps up and grabs his hand, trying to keep his footing. "God damn it! Don't let go, Kakarot!"

It would get more intense, as the destroyers get pulled toward it, including Beerus. He tries to fly, but cannot. He braces for impact, but he then finds himself falling to the ground.

[Music: Dragon Ball Super OST 56 Blue Saiyan (HQ)]

He coughs and looks up to see the blast flickering before vanishing. "Wait... No... Only one being I know can do that."

Daishinkan looks up, sweat going down his face. "Just as I feared. He's arrived."

Two tall figures walk forward alongside a smaller one. It would be Zeno and his guards. The Omni King would look unhappy with the situation. "What is happening?"

Ozatus vanishes a fair distance away from him, staring at him. "You've finally arrived, Zeno."

One guard squints at him. "You're the one behind the destruction of the multiverse. The fusion of Zateus and Omesus."

Zeno looks at the fusion, then raises his hand. "Bye-bye."

A glow surrounds the figure, and he immediately disappears. The Omni King lowers his hand, turning toward the rest of them. He walks toward the Grand Priest, going to speak to him.

Suddenly, a hand shoots right behind him, trying to grab his head, but then the guards deflect the attack, knocking the fusion back. "How did you survive our lord's erasure?!"

"I was never erased," Ozatus replies, smiling. "I am impervious to erasure. Do you think I've done nothing these past years? I've found a way to negate its effects."

He points to his earrings. "These negate all forms of erasure. A sorcerer far more powerful than any of you created them... My second son, Qhuteus."

Goku clenches his fists. "How many of them... are you?!"

Ozatus glances at him. "Qhuteus hasn't been seen in many, many years. He's learned different ways to manipulate magic. He can do anything. He likely masked his presence, even from the gods. Even I don't know where he is. If I somehow lose, he will eventually arrive. My greatest weapon."

Zeno, for the first time since Goku met him, would be angry. He glares at Ozatus, then points his finger. "Destroy him."

The guards then get in a stance, before launching forward. The first one kicks him in the gut, while the other one elbows him, sending him flying. "AGHHH!" He flies into the center of a faraway galaxy, falling into its black hole.

Goku and Vegeta's jaws drop to the ground. Even Daishinkan would be surprised at the power of these guards. "Amazing... So these are Lord Zeno's guards."

Zeno watches as Ozatus flies out of the black hole, launching toward the guards. "I will kill the two of you in an instant!" He switches from Super Saiyan White to Ultra Instinct Stage 2.

He zooms in front of the guards, rapidly barraging them. He'd clash with them briefly before being overpowered and knocked back. One guard zooms forward, rapidly barraging him. "UWAGHH!"

The other chops him toward the area, forcing everybody to get out of the way. It splits apart, the shock wave sending even Daishinkan flying. He gets up from the ground, blood dripping from his mouth.

He closes his eyes. "Now's my chance to kill him." He combines Ultra Instinct Stage 2 and Super Saiyan White, able to do so due to being a fusion. He roars, launching forward.

The guards get in the way, but he knocks them to the side, heading toward Zeno. Goku launches forward, yelling. "ZEN-CHAN!"

The Omni King watches him come closer and would remember the Tournament of Power. He'd look at his hands and then raise them. "Fwoosh!"

He launches a massive white beam that sends Ozatus flying, tearing part of his arm off. "GAHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The power from it would also send Zeno flying back, tumbling across the ground. "Woahh!"

Goku teleports behind him, catching him. "That was awesome, Zen-chan! Guess you learned a thing or two from me."

Zeno hops down, brushing his robes off. "I don't like fighting at all, but I had to save myself."

The evil fusion leaps down, holding his arm. He growls, slowly regenerating it with Zateus's abilities. "Since when did the Omni King have the capacity to fight?!"

The guards vanish in front of him, rapidly barraging him. He'd block the attacks, skidding back. "Grrr... HAA!"

He launches them back, launching a massive beam that knocks one away. He then heads toward the second guard, clashing punches with it. "Even in full power, you are keeping up with me."

The guards leap back, gaining some distance. They then press their hands together, their antennae glowing blue. "No more holding back! We must defend the Omni King!"

Electricity dances everywhere in the multiverse. Vegeta clenches his fists, trying to handle the pressure of their energy. "That's... the attack they used against Abysus, but far more powerful!"

"OMNI FLARE!" A massive glowing blue beam shoots out. Ozatus brings back his fist, charging up his own attack as well. "Divine Upheaval!"

He launches an electric white beam and the two attacks clash. The multiverse would be tearing itself apart, rifts appearing everywhere. Goku yells, flying back from the force. "Shit... At this rate, nothing will remain!"

The two beams would go back and forth, ripping everything apart. Ozatus roars, his beam getting bigger. He'd start to overpower the guards, shocking them. His aura gets bigger. "DIE!"

The beam consumes the guards, and a catastrophic explosion occurs, tearing apart chunks of the entire timeline.

The craziest chapter yet! Gogeta is an ascended stage 2, Zateus and Omesus's fusion, Zeno's arrival, and his guards... The list goes on! Only og readers know who Qhuteus was in the old version of this story. I just thought the new name would be cooler.
