Previously on Dragon Ball Aftermath: Rewrite

Qhuteus has arrived early, catching the gods and mortals off guard. While waiting for Zeno himself to arrive, he traps Daishinkan and Goku to distract them while he summons the old enemies of the Z-Fighters to take them on. Luckily for our heroes, reinforcements from the twelve universes have arrived to assist in the final battle.

Chapter Twenty-Two

Viara jumps in the way, grabbing Dr. Gero and throwing him in the air. "Tch!" He launches lasers out of his eyes toward the robot, only to be met with Koitsukai, who launches a beam from its eye to counter his.

Panchia would scan him from a distance, analyzing his abilities. Bollarator extends his arm to go hit him, but Android 19 intervenes, slicing the arm off with his hand.

Perfect Cell walks forward, raising two fingers and aiming a beam toward Android 17, launching it toward his head. Gohan launches a Kamehameha that knocks it out of the way, intriguing the Bio-Android.

"Ah, I recognize your energy," he says, smiling at the Half-Saiyan. "You've grown up, Gohan. Too bad I'm not going to make the same mistake and let you live. I'll take you down from the start!"

He launches a Kamehameha toward the Half-Saiyan, who powers up into his ultimate form for a split second, knocking it in the distance. "I wouldn't be so sure, Cell. I'm not the same as before."

Frieza suddenly shoots behind Cell, kicking him in the back and sending him forward. "Wha-?! Frieza?!"

"Mode Change!" Katopesla leaps up, kicking Cell into the ground. "Raging Battle Mode! In this mode, I am three hundred times-"

The Bio-Android laughs, grabbing Katopesla by the head and slamming him to the ground. "UGHH!"

He then spins him like a lasso, throwing him into a mountain. "I've been watching your battles in hell for years, Gohan. I have many new techniques up my sleeve, though I won't need my full power to end you."

Cell slides his foot back, charging a Final Kamehameha. "Not only have I been training intensely, but I also have been heavily modified by Dr. Gero..."

He teleports behind Gohan, shocking him. "That's... the Kais' technique!"

Cell yells, launching a Final Kamehameha that sends him flying back. "AGHHH!"

Many fighters at this point would notice Babidi, Dabura, and Kid Buu and head after them. The wizard growls. "Dabura, kill them!"

The demon king smirks and launches forward, splitting some fighters away from his master. Babidi takes a step back, getting nervous. "Buu, kill them!"

The Majin roars, pounding his fists against his chest. He gets in a stance by his master, launching a beam that sends most of the fighters flying.

Babidi raises his hands, chunks of the ground breaking apart. Shantza from universe four presses his thumbs together, creating a red dome around the wizard. "What's the meaning of this?"

A shadowy figure forms in front of him. He'd see a copy of Kid Buu with glowing red eyes, smirking at him. The real Kid Buu laughs, launching a candy beam that goes through his copy, confusing him.

Gamisarasu, who is also from universe four, sneaks behind Babidi. He'd be able to seemingly fly under the radar, being invisible. He goes to snatch the wizard, but then a pink blob sticks to him, shocking him.

It consumes him, sending him toward the Majin, who absorbs him. Babidi smirks, launching chunks of the terrain toward a couple of the other fighters. Majora from universe four launches a Ki blast that incinerates the rock.

He launches up toward the wizard, his sense of smell compensating for his blindness. He smirks and goes to punch Babidi, but Kid Buu would continue to protect him, attempting to absorb him.

At the last second, the fox leaps out of the way. "Damn it! We're one fighter down."

"One of your fighters is down," Babidi says, as the copy of Kid Buu that Shantza created would go to attack the real Kid Buu, who would get irritated. "Grrr..."

Babidi gets a bit nervous, strengthening his magic to keep Kid Buu under his control. "If he goes out of control, I'll be done for!"

The fake Kid Buu continues to attack, as the real one then notices Shantza peaking over a rock. He yells, launching a blast toward him. Just then, Good Buu gets in the way, deflecting the blast.

The Majin would've gotten fit ever since the training with Vegeta. "Buu won't let you harm friends!"

Roselle from universe nine dives toward the Majin, as Maji Kayo from universe three leaps off his back, enlarging his hand to grab Kid Buu. "Take this!"

Meanwhile, the love warriors from universe two, and Rylibeu from universe ten, would face off against the Demon King Dabura.

"I am the warrior of universe two, Brianne de Chateau!"

"Sanka Ku!"

"Su Roas!"

"Let it bloom. Let it ring. The song of love and victory!"

Dabura watches in disbelief as the three warriors from universe to transform, now ready to fight him. "Is this some sort of joke?! A dream?"

Rylibeu watches their transformation as well with curiosity. Ribrianne raises her fingers, forming them in the shape of a heart. "Pretty... Cannon!"

The demon king comes to his senses and leaps up, launching a sphere of dark energy toward them. Kakunsa leaps up, growling. She slices through the blast using her claws, going up toward Dabura.

She rapidly goes to attack him, slashing at him, but the demon king blocks it before launching a blast out of his mouth that sends her flying back. Rozie catches her, as the two fly up toward him once again.

"Yacchaina Fist!" Rozie begins to rapidly barrage him, blasts shooting out of her hands. "Ya cha cha cha cha!"

"ENOUGH!" Dabura gets angry, his aura blocking out the blasts. "Your techniques are pathetic and disgusting!"

He uses his magic to create a sword, flying down toward Ribrianne. Rylibeu spreads her wings and charges toward him, covering her body in an energy aura. She rams into him, catching him off guard. "What the?!"

Jiren walks forward toward Goku Black and Zamasu. Hit and Caulifla would follow closely behind to assist their former enemy.

Goku Black smirks when he sees the three powerful warriors approaching him. "Hello, mortals. I've been given another chance, and I will not fail my Zero Mortals plan this time..."

Zamasu raises his fist, creating a Ki blade. "Bow before us, you low-level scum. Mortals are nothing but a hindrance that ruins the perfect balance of the-"

He pauses, seeing many pink, metallic spheres surrounding him. "What?"

Suddenly, a blast rapidly zooms through the spheres, piercing the kai's chest. "Ugh! Who dares?!" He looks around the rocks, but wouldn't be able to see anybody.

Hit uses time skip to appear in front of Goku Black, going to punch him in the gut. The Saiyan blocks it, skidding back. "Tch... Teleportation? That's bothersome."

"Don't be fooled, companion," Zamasu says. "It isn't teleportation, but rather time skip."

Hit leaps back, getting in a stance. "How do you know that?"

The kai smirks. "Because I'm the Zamasu from this timeline. I saw you in the universe six and seven tournament. The Dark Lord brought me back instead of that other version of me."

Goku Black powers up into Super Saiyan, firing a barrage of blasts at the fighters. Caulifla and Hit dodge and deflect them while they swerve around Jiren.

Hit time skips, appearing in front of Zamasu. He nails him in the gut, stunning the kai. He then kicks him, sending him flying down to the ground. "Gah! Damn it!"

"It seems all the fighters have chosen their opponents," Qhuteus says from the sideline.

"The villains are struggling against them," Abysus notes. "At this rate, they'll be beaten with relative ease."

"You don't need to concern yourself about that," the sorcerer replies. "I'm preparing a spell that will change the tide of this war entirely. For now, enjoy the chaos."

Explosions rupture the landscape, sending chunks of it flying everywhere. The angels walk up and tap their staffs, a blue glow engulfing the planet for a split second.

"That should make the planet much more durable than before," Whis says, as the planet's destruction would halt for the moment. "Marcarita, would you mind quickly evacuating all the life forms?"

"Certainly," she replies, flying toward the horizon in an instant. The rest of the angels walk up toward the four evil gods, or... mortals. Their presence would bend the surrounding reality.

The gods of destruction join in, led by Beerus. Broly, Seji, Trunks, Toppo, and the rest of the fighters of the twelve universes walk up to face Abysus, Omesus, Zateus, and Qhuteus.

Thunder booms from above, as the entire cosmos is destabilizing. Omesus uncrosses his arms and walks forward, each step cracking the ground. "It's time for round three... This will either be my final battle or my rise to power."

Seji clenches his staff, sweat going down the side of his face. "We don't stand a chance against Zateus or Qhuteus, but we must survive until Son Goku, Daishinkan, and Zeno arrive."

Beerus chuckles, cracking his knuckles. "I've been training with Broly and Gohan, so I should be powerful enough to help."

Broly glares at Omesus, the two brutes locking eyes. The legendary Saiyan clenches his fists, feeling uneasy about the other.

"I'll go first in this battle," Omesus says, as he roars, a massive aura bursting above him, going into the sky. Rocks rise around him, the entire planet shaking. "I will show you why I still remain... the strongest mortal."

He slams his fist on the ground, shattering it, forcing the fighters to leap up. He flies up toward Broly, swinging a punch covered in energy. The brute does the same, the two clashing fists.

Omesus's eyes widen. "He was able to counter my punch? How is this possible?"

"You aren't the strongest mortal anymore," Broly says, pressing on with full force. He enters his Wrathful state, kicking Omesus to the ground. "Guck! Son of a bitch!"

Tien, Chiaotzu, Yamcha, and Jimizu vs. General Blue and Taopaipai

Piccolo, Chi-Chi, Saonel, and Pirina vs. King Piccolo

Master Roshi, Krillin, Cabba, and Goten vs. Raditz

Vegeta, Android 18, Bergamo, and Kale vs. King Vegeta, Nappa, and Paragus

Ganos, Chappil, Caway, and Dende vs. Zarbon and Dodoria

Dyspo, Kahseral, Cocotte, Vewon, Tupper, Zoiray, Kettol, and Kunshi vs. Captain Ginyu, Jeice, Burter, Recoome, and Guldo

Frost, Hop, Hyssop, and Murichim vs. King Cold

Paparoni, Panchia, Bollarator, Narirama, and Viara vs. Android 19 and Dr. Gero

Mercenary Tao launches a Dodon Ray that clashes with one from Chiaotzu. Tien vanishes behind General Blue and kicks him to the ground, while Jimizu from Universe two would put his fingers to his head, using Instant Transmission to vanish behind Tao.

He charges a Ki orb, going to slam it against the cyborg. Tao leaps out of the way, as General Blue grabs Jimizu using his telekinesis, throwing him back. Yamcha flies forward, launching a Kamehameha toward General Blue, who blocks it, skidding back.

Tien raises his finger, launching a massive Dodon Ray at Tao, who counters it with a Super Dodon Ray of his own. General Blue glares at Chiaotzu, paralyzing him with his Psychic Eyes.

He launches forward, going to grab him, but Jimizu teleports in front of it, blocking it. "Out of my way, you damn martian!"

The Yardratian forms a pink Ki orb in his hand, slamming it against the general's chest. "GAH!" An explosion of energy sends him flying back into a mountain.

Taopaipai yells, his beam overpowering Tien's. The triclops leaps up, forming his fingers in the shape of a triangle. "KI-KO-HO!"

An enormous blast slams into the mercenary, digging into the ground. "DAAAAGHH!"

Chi-Chi leaps up and goes to kick King Piccolo again, but he blocks it, punching her away with the back of his hand. "Explain yourself, son... Who are these blue imposters?"

Piccolo throws off his weighted clothing, cracking his knuckles. "There's a lot you should know, father. You're not a demon, but part of the namekian race."

King Piccolo squints. "What nonsense. What happened to you? You were supposed to carry my legacy! You were supposed to take over the planet."

Piccolo takes a step forward, shooting in front of his father and slamming him to the ground. "I used to desire that, but I've changed over the years. We were sent to Earth from Planet Namek to save our lives."

The king yells, grabbing Piccolo's arm and throwing him back. "Stop speaking nonsense, you fool!"

The namekian skids back, launching a blast toward the king, who blocks it, flying back. "You're a failure! A good for nothing! Namekians?! We are demons!"

Pirina stretches out his arm, wrapping it around King Piccolo to immobilize him. Saonel shoots in front of him, holding a Ki blade to his neck. "That's as far as you go. You're corrupt. Stand down and you will not be harmed."

Raditz leaps forward, pinning Goten on the ground. The young Saiyan retaliates by kicking him in the gut, stunning him. Krillin raises his hand, creating a Kienzan. This attack wouldn't be like the original.

It spins at such speeds that a twister of dust forms around him. "Now, Master Roshi!"

The old warrior leaps next to him, raising his hands to the spinning disk. The two launch the attack toward Raditz. "Thunder Shock Kienzan!"

The power of the spinning disk causes the wind to blast Raditz in the face as it gets closer to him. It would sparkle with electricity. He smirks, grabbing Goten and putting him in front of the trajectory. "You fool!"

Goten enters Super Saiyan and kicks him in the shin, making him let go. The Thunder Shock Kienzan would get close to the Saiyan warrior.

Raditz yells, letting his bottled-up emotions release in a wave of fury. His hair spikes up as he enters Super Saiyan, flying up to avoid the blast. "Haha! I did it! I have achieved the legend!"

In the corner of his eye, he sees Cabba leaping up to him and swinging a kick. He blocks the kick, his arm shaking. "Not so fast, runt."

He yells, slamming the young Saiyan in the chest with a kick, causing him to cough up spit. "None of you can defeat me! I will kill you four, then Vegeta, then Kakarot!"

Goten walks forward past the others. "I wouldn't be so sure. I heard stories about you from Piccolo. You fought my dad, remember?"

"I knew you looked just like Kakarot," Raditz responds, crossing his arms. "Tch... That fool had another brat. What, are you gonna cry as that Gohan brat did back then?"

The Half-Saiyan yells, his aura bursting. "We'll see about that." He enters Super Saiyan two, leaping up to Raditz. "What the-?!"

Goten yells, slamming a punch in his face, sending him spiraling back. "DAAAGH!"

Krillin vanishes in his path, kicking him upward. Master Roshi leaps up and launches a Kamehameha that sends the Saiyan flying into a mountain.

Nappa shoots lasers out of his eyes, forcing Vegeta to block it. The prince growls and raises his hand, charging a blue energy ball. "Big Bang Attack!"

It flies toward the Saiyans, killing two weaker ones behind King Vegeta. "What low-class trash. Do you expect me to be impressed?"

He turns to see Vegeta in front of him. "What the?!"

The prince flicks him on the nose, sending him back. "GOW! You little shit!"

Paragus launches a barrage of Ki blasts that the prince easily dodges, before going down toward Nappa and grabbing him and throwing him. Nappa launches forward, bringing his fist forward. "HAAAA!"

Vegeta deflects the punch with the back of his hand, before knocking down Nappa with a simple knee to the gut. "You're still trash, as usual, Nappa."

His father's rage boils up as he enters Super Saiyan, launching forward his son and slamming a punch in his face. Vegeta flinches before glancing back at him, chuckling. "I-Impossible! Not even the legend?!"

The prince then enters Super Saiyan for a split second, as it would take one punch to knock his father out. "Hmph. You're so below me, it's almost a pity to kill you."

He then turns toward a Paragus, who stumbles back, frightened. "Vegeta! You won't get away with your and your family's actions!"

Vegeta immediately vanishes in front of him, grabbing him by the collar. Seeing his father and Nappa again would've made his blood boil. "Let me make one thing clear to you: I am not my father. I am his son. Now, piss off and kill your former king if you really want revenge."

He tosses him to the ground, before turning to see Android 18, Bergamo, and Kale watching the entire fight go on. "I took care of them. No thanks to you."

"It looked like you had it all handled," Android 18 replies, her hands in her pockets. "Guess we'll need to go help the others soon."

Zarbon looks up to see Ganos from universe four sending electricity at him, stunning him once again. "That's enough!"

He yells, his muscles bulking up. He enters his monster form, launching toward Ganos. He swings a punch, sending him back. He turns to see Caway swinging an energy hammer on him, and he blocks it with a grunt.

Dodoria runs toward Dende, rapidly barraging him. The guardian would struggle to keep up with his attacks before Chappil goes to help by breathing fire on Dodoria. "Ow, HOT!"

Ganos yells, transforming into his true avian form. He leaps forward, coating his fist in green energy. He slams it in Dodoria's gut, making the brute cough up blood.

Chappil roars, mauling Dodoria to the ground from behind, knocking him down. Zarbon punches him in the chest, but does nothing against his metallic skin. "What the?!"

Suddenly, an energy spear goes through his chest, paralyzing him. He slowly looks over to see Caway. "Why you...!"

Ganos flies over and dropkicks him to the ground alongside Dodoria, knocking them out. "We did it..."

From the distance, Abysus crosses his arms. "The warriors are dropping like flies, Qhuteus. Whatever you're planning, do it now."

"Be patient," Qhuteus snaps. "I'm aware my warriors are going down quickly, but... this spell will be done soon."

He places his hands on the ground, multiple markings appearing on all the resurrected villains. "Now to prepare to make them true warriors..."
