Previously on Dragon Ball Aftermath: Rewrite
All the villains have chosen their opponents. Our heroes are taking them down one by one and it seems Qhuteus's initial plan is failing. However, he still is preparing something huge. What will it be? Find out now.
Chapter Twenty-Three
From above, lightning dances across the universes, as the Pride Troopers face off against the Ginyu Force. Dyspo shoots through the air, clashing with Burter. "I'm impressed you're able to hold your own against me."
Burter smirks, swinging a punch that the Pride Trooper dodges. "You're fast, but I'm the fastest."
Guldo raises his hands, paralyzing Zoiray with his telekinesis. He lifts a rock, sending it toward him. At the last second, Zoiray breaks out and spins to become a twister, destroying the rock.
Recoome's eyes dart around to see all the energy blasts Kettol created. He opens his mouth, charging a blast. "RECOOME-"
Kettol raises his hand, all the energy balls heading toward the brute at once, colliding with him. "UWAAGHH!"
"Crusher Ball!" Jeice launches his attack toward Cocotte, but a small dome around her would stop it, confusing him. "Huh?"
She disperses the dome, launching an energy blast that sends him flying back onto the edge of the bigger dimensional dome.
Dyspo continues to clash with Burter, but he'd only be warming up. He speeds up rapidly, the blue warrior struggling to keep up with him. "I-Impossible! Nobody out-speeds me!"
The Pride Trooper goes full speed, kicking Burter around like a rag doll before kicking him to the ground, knocking him out. He leaps over to help Kahseral, Tupper, and Vewon face Captain Ginyu.
The three of them would clash back and forth, about equal in level. Dyspo slides his foot back and launches forward, a sparkling trail of energy following him. He'd have greatly improved since the Tournament of Power.
"JUSTICE KICK!" The Pride Trooper front flips and slams his foot on the captain's head, sending him crashing through the ground. He turns to see Zoiray drilling into Guldo and taking him down, injuring him.
"Well done, Pride Troopers," Kahseral says, seeing the unconscious bodies of the five warriors. "We'll arrest them once the battle is over. We'll need to go assist the others."
King Cold leaps down after Murichim blocks his blast, and he gets irritated. "Why you!"
Suddenly, he turns just in time to see Frost's foot slam in his face, sending him tumbling back and crashing through multiple rocks. "I expected far better from Frieza's father."
The Frost Demon gets off the ground, powering up. He roars, entering his third, then final form. King Cold chuckles, launching a barrage of death beams toward Frost, who raises his arms to block them, skidding back. "Grrr...!"
Hyssop launches more icicles which the king dodge, but then is met with Hop, who slashes his back. "DAGH! Damn you, pest!"
He spins around and nails her on the face with a punch, sending her skidding back. He then leaps up and goes to maul her, but she jumps out of the way, extending her long claws and piercing them through the Frost Demon's chest.
He pauses, coughing up blood. From behind, a death beam pierces his chest and leaves him further injured. "D-Damn you... How dare you do this to me?!"
Murichim leaps down from above as he slams a punch on the Arcosian's head, knocking him out unconscious.
Android 19 intervenes, slicing Bollarator's arm off with his hand. He turns to see Narirama rapidly spinning toward him. He leaps out of the way, but then Panchia catches him, wrapping its arms around the android.
The robot glows, sending energy blasts into the android at point-blank range, shooting holes through him. Dr. Gero curses, launching forward to blast Paparoni, but is protected by Viara.
The robot brute yells and slams a punch on the doctor's face, sending him spiraling back. He crashes to the ground, sparks flying out of his damaged parts. "Tch... Fine... I guess I'll have to unleash it early."
He grabs a remote, flicking a switch on. On another part of the battlefield, Cell feels endless energy coursing through his body, and he yells, a massive aura shooting up around him.
"Finally... Looks like Gero has activated my infinite energy engine," he says. "Now then... Enough playing around."
He launches forward toward Gohan, swinging a kick. The half-Saiyan blocks it, skidding back. "Gck... Damn it..."
The momentum of the Bio-Android's kick would send him flying back into a mountain. "Cell's gotten stronger than I could've expected."
Cell chuckles, before turning toward Paparoni and his creations in the distance. "Wait here. Unfortunately, I still need Gero in the meantime."
He flies over at insane speeds, shocking Paparoni. Cell launches a death beam that shoots through Viara's head, causing the robot to malfunction and fall to the ground.
He then shoots toward Paparoni, reaching out to him. At that moment, Gohan gets in the way, powering up into his ultimate form and catching his punch. "What?! Gohan?!"
The Half-Saiyan yells, slamming a punch into Cell's face, sending him flying far back. He then turns toward Paparoni. "You, fix your robot. We'll need you to fuse them."
Cell gets up to see Frieza shooting over and slamming a kick in his gut, causing him to cough up spit. From behind, Android 17 flips and kicks him to the ground, stunning him.
Katopesla runs from the mountain he was thrown to in his ultimate mode, kicking Cell back. "This is my Ultimate Mode! In this mode, both my power and speed are 300 times as normal!"
The Bio-Android lands on his feet, before yelling, a glowing aura surrounding him. He enters a form the others know all too well: his golden form.
He smirks at Frieza's shocked expression. "That's right, Frieza. Unlike you, I've been training for years to obtain more power than before. Now... It's time to end this."
Gohan vanishes in front of Cell, going to dropkick him. The Bio-Android blocks it, his arms shaking. "Gh... You've improved, but you cannot win against me! I have infinite energy!"
Rylibeu rams into Dabura, catching him off guard. "What the?!"
Rozie vanishes in front of him, nailing him in the chest with multiple Ki blasts. "Ya cha cha cha cha cha!"
"Pretty Love Machine Gun!" Ribrianne launches a barrage of heart-shaped blasts that Dabura tries to block, but would be overwhelmed by them. Kakunsa leaps at him from behind, rapidly slashing him. "AGHHH!"
Out of nowhere, Rylibeu rams into him with full force, sending him flying to the ground. Babidi yells, launching more giant rocks that Majora would plow through, heading toward the magician.
He flips over, kicking him to the ground. Majora pins him to the ground, as he growls, trying to break free of his grip. "Unhand me this instant!"
Dr. Rota laughs, raising his hands. "Let me show you why I, Dr. Rota, am called Doctor! My ability is-"
A stray Ki blast from the battle against Gohan and Cell knocks him in the back of the head, knocking him unconscious. A bead of sweat goes down Babidi's face. "That takes care of one of them. Buu, help me out here!"
Maji Kayo laughs, having the Majin in his grip. "This pink monster isn't going anywhere!"
Kid Buu yells, easily squeezing out of his grasp. He launches down toward Majora, immediately kicking him away. Roselle dives toward him, trying to grab him, but the Majin dodges, pinning the winged demon to the ground.
Pink goo surrounds Roselle, as Kid Buu absorbs him, grinning. He laughs maniacally, pounding his chest, though he'd seem a bit calmer. A red slit appears on his forehead and opens, revealing a red eye.
"He's already absorbed two of us," Dercori says. "I'll handle him."
Kid Buu would notice Dercori launching energy markings into the surrounding terrain, confusing him. He then looks over to see all the fighters sinking into the ground. He runs forward and digs into the dirt, but finds nothing.
He blinks, not realizing it's part of Dercori's illusions. The battles are seemingly coming to a standstill as he runs around, as the world distorts around him. He turns around to see a massive version of Dercori towering over him, smacking him away with her hand.
He falls through the ground into a dark and empty place, the only thing being a light in the center. Dercori emerges, powering up in the darkness. She gains markings on her face, her hair turns white, and her limbs become longer. "In the darkness, I am unstoppable!"
Kid Buu would get angry before yelling. A massive shock wave shoots through her mouth, sending her back. The sheer power of it would break the terrain, in turn dispersing the markings.
He breaks from her illusion and yells, launching toward her. She screams, being absorbed by the Majin. "NOOOO!"
Kid Buu slowly turns toward Majora, Maji Kayo, and Good Buu, grinning. He turns around, but wouldn't be yelling anymore. Maji Kayo sticks his tongue out to anger the Majin, and it works.
Kid Buu flies toward him, but then Maji Kayo turns his hand into a giant fist, slamming it into Kid Buu and sending him flying back. Good Buu takes his chance to shoot behind him, uppercutting his counterpart.
He then follows it with a full-power Majin Kamehameha, attempting to vaporize his foe. Kid Buu regenerates, now angrier than ever. He turns into a ball, dashing toward him at insane speeds.
Maji Kayo turns into a net, as the ball lands in it. "Score!" He laughs, grabbing Kid Buu and slamming him to the ground. The Majin loses it and powers up, a pink aura surrounding him. Energy blasts shoot everywhere, unnerving the jelly-like humanoid. "H-Hey!"
Kid Buu turns into pink goo, attempting to absorb him, but the latter does the same, and they'd be in a struggle. Ultimately, Buu would win the struggle, absorbing his opponent.
The Majin gets up, turning slightly more purple. He laughs, as he zooms toward Good Buu with great versatility. Good Buu tries to attack him, but wouldn't be able to land one. "Fine... Buu will turn meanie into candy!"
He tries to turn his counterpart into candy, but Kid Buu deflects the beam back at him, reversing the effect. He then looks at the piece of candy, taking a bite out of it and eating it.
His eyes widen as he screeches, pink smoke shooting out of him. A cloud covers the arena, distracting some of the fighters. Gohan looks over, his eyes widening. "No... You have to be kidding me."
Super Buu forms in place of Kid Buu. Babidi's jaw drops as he slowly steps back. "He's too powerful for my magic to hold! He's completely out of control!"
The Majin turns toward Majora and Babidi before walking toward them. Majora turns around and tries to escape, but then Super Buu vanishes in front of him, immediately absorbing him. "NOOO!"
He does the same for Dr. Rota, and the only one left would be Babidi. "D-Dabura! Help me! DABURA!"
The wizard would see an unconscious Dabura on the ground, as a shadow towers over the magician. Super Buu laughs as he turns Babidi into candy, eating him. "I'm finally back... I need more candy."
Goku Black yells, entering Super Saiyan two. Obuni runs toward him, multi-colored holograms of his energy trailing behind him. He rapidly barrages the Saiyan, confusing him. "His energy is scattered... I've never seen a technique like that..."
Zamasu gets up, regenerating because of his immortality. He launches toward Jiren, attempting to slash him. Of course, the attack does nothing. "What the?!"
The Pride Trooper raises one fist, sending a burst of wind that sends the Kai flying across the mountains, almost flying into outer space. Seeing this, Black immediately enters Super Saiyan Rosé, his aura sending Obuni flying back.
Harmira launches another beam that travels through Prum's orbs, going to strike the Saiyan. He deflects the laser with ease, creating a scythe of energy. He flies toward Prum, going to slash him, but Jiren intervenes, catching his hand.
"That can't be possible!" Sweat goes down Black's face as the warrior towers over him. "No mortal can have that kind of strength! It's repulsi-"
Jiren yells, punching him in the face. Immediately, the Saiyan is knocked out, as he drops him to the ground. "It's over."
Broly enters his Wrathful state, kicking Omesus to the ground. "Guck! Son of a bitch!" The Saiyan God gets up, cracking his knuckles. "Fine, I guess there's no room for playing around."
He enters his Legendary Super Saiyan form, an explosion of energy tearing apart the ground. In an instant, he grabs Broly by the hair, slamming him to the ground. He'd stop on him continuously, attempting to kill him.
Toppo runs forward, slamming a punch on Omesus's back, which does nothing. He goes to grab the Pride Trooper, but then Beerus slams into him out of nowhere, sending him back.
Beerus lands on his feet, using one hundred percent of his power. A glowing purple aura of destruction surrounds him, vaporizing parts of the land. Omesus skids back, chuckling. "Well, well... I never would've expected you of-..." He'd pause when he sees Beerus, then growls.
[Music: Audiomachine - Obsidian]
He zooms forward, clashing with the god of destruction. The rest of the angels watch from the sidelines, but Seji walks forward, spinning his staff. "I'll put an end to this battle right now!"
He yells, powering up into his Dragon God form. He flies past Omesus and straight toward Qhuteus. The sorcerer smiles as the sage tries to hit him, but Qhuteus raises his finger and flicks.
A massive burst of wind tears the landscape apart, even sending some of the angels flying back. Explosions the size of atomic bombs send ripples across the landscape, disrupting everybody.
Seji yells, as his body plows through the ground. Craters after the other form under him as he digs into the ground. He finally stops, paralyzed. "Such power... How... is it possible?"
The after-effects of the attack would ripple across the galaxy. Vegeta grunts, flying up to avoid the destruction. "God damn... What kind of power does that bastard hold?!"
Super Buu laughs at the carnage. Gohan and Perfect Cell continue to clash, despite the damage.
"This won't be an easy battle to overcome," Master Roshi says. "Krillin, Cabba, Goten, let's go join our allies."
"Where do you think you're going, worms?" A voice says behind them. Raditz rises from the ground, now fully healed. He chuckles as multiple markings go around his body, his power rising exponentially.
"What's going on here?" Krillin asks, getting into a stance. "He's supposed to be defeated."
He looks over to see Qhuteus's hand on the ground. "Your battles have only just begun, warriors... When I resurrected the villains, I only gave them a boost in power... But it's time to show you what my magic can do."
General Blue and Taopaipai get up, the same markings on their bodies. The rest of the fallen villains, except for the ones Buu absorbed, would rise from the ground, being even more powerful than before.
Jimizu raises his fingers to his head, vanishing behind General Blue. He goes to grab him but is suddenly paralyzed. "What the?"
The general spins around and slams him in the face, sending him flying back. Tien splits into multiple forms, surrounding the two of them. "KI-KO-HO!"
A massive blast hits them, knocking them down momentarily. They then get back up and Taopaipai turns toward him, raising a finger. "DODONRAY!"
He launches a colossal beam that consumes each of the Tiens, sending them into a mountain. Yamcha leaps forward, launching a Kamehameha toward Taopaipai, who kicks it back toward him.
Chiaotzu stops it with his telekinesis, but then General Blue grabs him, slamming him to the ground.
King Piccolo roars, breaking out of Saonel's grip. He launches a mouth beam that sends the namekian flying back. He then grabs Chi-Chi and is about to crush her skull, but then Piccolo swipes her at an insane speed.
The self-proclaimed "Demon King" chuckles, turning toward his son. "As expected... You've developed a liking for these fragile life forms."
"Yeah, so what?" Piccolo replies, setting down Chi-Chi and walking toward him. "You're corrupt, end of story. I was willing to give you another chance, but you've sunk too far."
He swings his fist, stretching his arm and swinging a punch at his father, who blocks it, his arms shaking. "No, it's you who have sunk too far, Piccolo. I will kill you where you stand!"
He yells, using an explosive demon wave to destroy the area they are in. He chuckles while looking up, but then his eyes widen to see a barrier surrounding all the fighters, including Piccolo.
"I'm not the same namekian I was before," Piccolo replies. "The sage of the namekians has trained me, and I am here to take you down once and for good."
Two giant energy hands form out of the hand, grabbing King Piccolo and squeezing him with full force. The king yells, sending a shock wave to destroy them. He launches forward. But Piccolo wouldn't be there.
He turns to see Piccolo launching Special Beam Cannons out of his fingers. King Piccolo tries to avoid all of them, but each of them would rapidly change direction, thanks to the namekian's perfect Ki control.
He launches a beam out of his mouth that destroys the Special Beam Cannons, and he looks up to see millions of Ki blasts surrounding him. Piccolo closes his arms, all of them heading toward him. "Hell-Zone Grenade!"
King Piccolo tries to escape them, but all the blasts would split into smaller ones, similar to what Seji did to Vegeta in their first battle. "NOOOO!"
A catastrophic explosion rocks the land, shattering the terrain. King Piccolo falls to his knees, smoke coming from his mouth. "D-Damn... you..."
He falls to the ground, unconscious. Piccolo turns to a nearby battle to see General Blue beating on Chiaotzu and immediately flies toward them, stretching out his arm and punching General Blue back.
Taopaipai turns toward him, launching a Dodonray. The namekian leaps over it and dropkicks the mercenary into the ground, knocking him out with one clean hit. Without looking, he aims his fingers toward General Blue, launching a Special Beam Cannon through his chest.
He walks over and helps Chiaotzu up, a green glow enveloping him. He'd be healing him. "P... Piccolo...? How are you doing... that...?"
"We'll talk about it later," the namekian replies. "I took down three of our enemies, but we have many more to defeat. We must assist the other battles as soon as possible."
He walks over and heals Tien, Yamcha, and Jimizu as well. "We still have a long battle ahead of us that will decide the fate of everything. We must work together."
Behind him, Saonel, Pirina, and Chi-Chi join in, uniting with their group. In the distance, Qhuteus watches Piccolo defeat the villains and can only smirk. "This could be more entertaining than I first thought..."

The battles are heating up even more than before. Piccolo was able to defeat three of the villains alone, but how will the other fighters fare against their new powered-up opponents? Find out in the next chapter.
