Previously on Dragon Ball Aftermath: Rewrite

Thanks to the efforts of our heroes, most of them were able to take down the villains, at least temporarily. Qhuteus has used a spell to further power them up. How will this war end? Find out now.

Chapter Twenty-Four

Raditz gets up from the rubble, the markings on his body glowing. He turns toward Master Roshi, Krillin, Goten, and Cabba, cracking his knuckles. "It's time for round two. This time, it's you assholes I will kick around."

He yells, entering Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2, then Super Saiyan 3. His hair grows even longer than before, touching the ground. "Let's play..."

"Kamehameha!" Krillin yells, launching a blue beam toward the Saiyan, who knocks it away with the back of his hand. He launches forward, kneeing Krillin in the gut and sending him spiraling back.

Master Roshi enters his muscular form, swinging a potent punch. The Saiyan deflects it, kicking him away. "Funny, as soon as I'm defeated, I suddenly gain power beyond the legend. Probably the work of that weird sorcerer."

Cabba enters Super Saiyan 3 as well, rapidly barraging the brute. Raditz blocks his attacks with one finger, smirking. "HA!" He elbows the young Saiyan, knocking him to the ground.

"It's time the low-class Saiyan trash learn their lesson," he says, charging a Saturday Crush. "Only the elite can truly master this godly power."

He recalls when Piccolo killed him and his brother. "It's time to quit following in Vegeta's and Nappa's footsteps. Now I am the strongest Saiyan."

The Saiyan roars, launching the pink Ki ball toward Cabba. Just then, a red flash knocks the blast to the side, confusing Raditz. "What?"

Goten stands in front of Cabba, a fiery aura surrounding him. He'd be in Super Saiyan God, having learned God Ki thanks to his training with Seji. "I'll show you what godly power truly is."

He zooms forward, crashing into Raditz and sending him flying through a mountain. Raditz coughs up spit, getting on his feet. "God damn it! DOUBLE SUNDAY!" He launches purple dual-energy waves.

Goten stops it with one hand, as he channels his God Ki through the blast, engulfing Raditz. "W-What the?! I can't move!"

The Super Saiyan God walks forward, raising his fingers. "I've used the God Bind on you. You're not going anywhere."

Vegeta hovers to the ground, seeing the Saiyans rise once again. "Oh? I would've expected a knock to the head would've put you down for good."

Nappa, King Vegeta, and Paragus immediately power into Super Saiyan, then Super Saiyan 2. Nappa raises his two fingers, a huge pillar of energy erupting from under the prince, who barely gets out of the way in time.

He turns to see King Vegeta behind him, his hair growing longer. He enters Super Saiyan 3, nailing the prince in the face and sending him back. "GAH!"

Paragus leaps in his path, kicking him upward. Vegeta looks up to see Nappa also entering Super Saiyan 3, mauling him to the ground. He coughs spit as he lands, a crater forming beneath him.

Android 18, Bergamo, and Kale leap into the battle, fighting against the Saiyans. Bergamo springs toward Nappa, and the two clash elbows. Kale powers up into her controlled berserk state, clashing with King Vegeta.

Android 18 yells, launching a barrage of energy blasts at Paragus, a lot of which hit the terrain, breaking it. Vegeta watches the battle from behind, letting them have their fun.

Nappa leaps back, launching a large, white Ki sphere at Bergamo, which explodes on impact. Bergamo growls, slightly growing in size from absorbing the damage. He vanishes behind Nappa, kneeing him in the back.

The brute grins, as he nails his elbow on the wolf's face, sending him back. Once again, he grows in size, the ground cracking from his mass. He launches a blue energy wave toward the Saiyan that consumes him. "Danger Beam!"

Nappa walks out of the smoke, scorching marks on his body. "Hmph... Damn mutt. I'll put you down myself."

He raises his two fingers, a massive explosion erupting under the wolf and sending him flying up. He grunts, unable to break free because of his velocity.

Bergamo looks up in time to see Nappa slam him in the back with his two feet, sending him crashing to the ground. He gets up, now being three times his normal size. He spins around and launches a full-power beam that sends the brute back a bit.

Nappa gets ticked off, launching at him with full speed. He tries to grab Bergamo with both his arms, but he vanishes before that can happen. He turns just in time to see a massive fist collide with him, sending him flying back. "OOF!"

The Saiyan feels a couple of his ribs cracking as he crashes through multiple mountains, coughing blood. On the other side, Bergamo would wait for him. The gray wolf spins around and nails him in the face with a kick, knocking him down.

Kale and King Vegeta clash back and forth, explosions riddling the area. The king grabs her by the hair and slams her on the ground repeatedly, smirking. In response, she uppercuts him, launching a volley of green blasts into him.

The king coughs up spit, skidding back. Kale raises her hand, charging a massive green sphere. She launches it toward him, who would do his best to stop it. "You damn wench!"

Kale closes her eyes, a blue glow enveloping her. A flash goes right by King Vegeta, a cut appearing on his cheek. "What?!"

He grunts, trying to stop her blast. He roars, launching a blast that destroys it. The king turns to see Kale in a unique form, more of a greenish-blue color. "I'm going to end this battle right now. I have bigger priorities than to fight you any longer."

King Vegeta gets in a stance, his aura growing to its maximum size. "Come!" In an instant, Kale sends him flying with a kick, using her Super Saiyan Blue form.

Android 18 avoids all of Paragus's attacks, irritating the old Saiyan. He yells, going to barrage her, but she'd be dodging all of his attacks with ease. She goes to kick him, but Paragus catches her leg, throwing her back. "Don't underestimate me!"

He yells, launching a full-power beam. Android 18 smiles, vanishing out of the way of the blast. "Unfortunately, you've chosen the wrong opponent." She vanishes behind him, kicking his legs to make him fall to the ground.

The Saiyan leaps up, continuing to barrage her, but she'd stop his punches with her palms. "I trained under someone pretty strong, so I learned a thing or two." Multiple energy clones of herself appear and chase after the old Saiyan.

Paragus darts around, trying to punch them, but his fists would go through the projections. "What's the meaning of this?!" The energy clones latch onto him and glow brightly. "N-No! You bastard!"

"Goodbye," the android says, closing her fist, and the energy clones self-destruct, a catastrophic explosion shaking the lands.

Vegeta smirks, leaping down to the ground. "I'm impressed. You took them down without my help."

"Don't mention it," Android 18 mutters. Nappa slowly crawls forward, only for Bergamo to walk in front of him, stopping him. "Prepare to die."

The gray wolf leaps up, launching a massive blast, but King Vegeta intervenes by launching a Power Ball into the sky, resulting in an artificial moon. Before anybody can react, the remaining Saiyans transform into a Golden Oozaru.

King Vegeta lets out a roar, the ground shattering under him. He turns toward the dead body of Paragus and laughs, before leaping up and going to slam his foot on Kale, who leaps out of the way.

"He's gotten stronger than before!" Vegeta growls, dodging a mouth beam from Nappa. "I've never seen an Oozaru like that. We were too careless!"

Nappa vanishes above him, swinging a punch at him. Vegeta enters Super Saiyan and blocks it, digging into the ground. "Damn it!"

The golden Oozaru barrages him, irritating the prince. "YOU ASSHOLE!" Vegeta yells, entering Super Saiyan Blue in an instant. He vanishes in front of Nappa, his hand raised. "Disappear."

He launches a beam that immediately vaporizes the Saiyan.

In the distance, Goten walks toward Raditz, raising his hand and charging a blast. "Here's how it's gonna go. You will not cause any more problems, and I won't kill you. Got it?"

Raditz would see the artificial moon in the distance and chuckle. "Indeed, I'll listen... I'll listen to your bones crunch!" He yells, growing into a golden Oozaru as well. Goten takes a step back, sweat going down the side of his face. "W-What the?!"

"We have to cut off his tail!" Krillin says, charging a Kienzan. "It's the only way for us to beat him!"

He yells, launching a spiraling disk that heads toward Raditz, but the ape catches the Kienzan between his teeth, crushing it. It roars, launching a mouth beam toward Krillin.

Goten leaps in the way, pushing it away with a lot of struggle. "His power's increased a lot. How did he get so much stronger? Krillin, Roshi, go get help from Vegeta's group. I'll hold the big guy off."

They nod, flying toward Vegeta. The prince notices them and then Raditz. "Hm, I see. Looks like that weakling's a problem too. I took care of Nappa and they're fighting my father."

Bergamo, Kale, and Android 18 clash with King Vegeta, who would slowly push them back. That is, until Kale yells and enters Super Saiyan Blue, sending the king flying back with a beam.

Goten clashes fists with Raditz, who suddenly stops moving, confusing him. "What? Has he given up?"

King Vegeta roars, sending debris flying in all directions. He leaps forward and slams a punch on Bergamo, sending him crashing to the ground. In response, the gray wolf grows to be even bigger, almost at the king's level.

They wrestle back and forth, and Goten turns around to assist. He flies over and kicks the king in the face, sending him stumbling back. Kale takes the opening to ram into him with full force, crashing through his armor and almost going through his chest.

The Oozaru falls to his knees, as Goten roars, launching a blast to finish him. The only one left would be Raditz, and he wouldn't move. Goten, Krillin, Master Roshi, Cabba, Android 18, Bergamo, Kale, and Vegeta surround the golden Oozaru, slowly closing in.

"Something's not right," Cabba says. "His energy... It's calm. It's almost like..."

Raditz shrinks down in a new form, slowly turning toward the group. He opens his eyes, walking toward them. "Well, well... I guess I got lucky. I don't know what this power is, but it'll serve me nicely."

The Saiyan would've achieved a powerful form, known as Super Saiyan 4. He looks at his hands, flexing his fingers. "It's almost as if I've mastered the power of the Oozaru... Plus, I got another boost in power."

Vegeta turns to see Qhuteus, who'd be smiling at him. "Tch... Damn wizard! He boosted him when he transformed into the Oozaru!"

Cabba yells, entering Super Saiyan Blue. He flies toward Raditz, along with Kale. They would attack him, but the Saiyan swipes his hand, sending them crashing into a mountain.

"It's like the power of a god..." Raditz turns toward Goten. "You're next, you little shit."

Vegeta powers up into Super Saiyan Blue Evolution, launching forward. However, a dark portal opens in front of him, sending him to an odd place with two familiar energies. He falls to his hands and knees; the pressure being immense, and falls out of his form.

Qhuteus chuckles, lowering his hand. "If I let him run loose, there'd be no fun in this battle. His friends will have to fight Raditz alone."

Vegeta sees a familiar figure run over to him and help him up. "Who are-..."

He looks to see none other than Goku and Daishinkan. "Vegeta, how the heck did you get here?"

The prince growls, the pressure still hitting him. "Daishinkan..."

The Grand Priest snaps his finger, the pressure immediately gone. The prince pants for a second, then gets up. "Kakarot, things are getting intense. I was going to help them defeat Raditz, but that wizard bastard sent me here."

Goku waves his hands. "Woah, Woah, Woah, slow down. Raditz? What are you talking about? How is he here?"

"Qhuteus resurrected all of your old enemies and made them leagues above where they used to be," Vegeta replies. "The others are risking their lives to defeat them!"

Goku turns around, raising his fist and punching the ground, making a small crack. "Tch... It's no use. Qhuteus also made it so that I cannot transform. I don't know how we're going to escape at this rate. We have to figure something out."

Vegeta turns toward Daishinkan. "How far away is the Angelic Chamber from the rest of the universes?"

"It's in a distant corner of the multiverse," the angel replies. "Qhuteus has a tight grip on this dimension."

Suddenly, the dimension cracks, everything shaking. Goku grunts and raises his hands, trying to create a portal. "Damn it! We're running out of time! Qhuteus is destroying the entire dimension alongside the three of us!"

"Is it possible to go to Zeno's palace?" Vegeta asks, avoiding the cracks in the ground. "If we stay here, we'll die!"

Goku pauses, as he reaches into his pocket and takes the Zeno button. "Please still work... Everyone, hold on to me!"

They do so and he presses the button, and something unexpected happens. Zeno himself appears and Goku takes a step back, shocked. "Crap! I forgot which button did which!"

"Kakarot, you idiot!" Vegeta yells, then takes a deep breath. "Lord Zeno, we humbly request you to save us from this dimension."

Zeno looks around, confused. "Isn't this Daishinkan's place? Why are you here?"

The ground cracks under them, and Goku raises his hands to his head. "Zen-chan, we don't have the time. I'll tell you everything when we get out. Just please stop Qhuteus's influence."

The Omni King looks up. "Ohh... So that's what's been happening. Okie-Dokie."

He raises his hand, closing it. Immediately, the dimension stops breaking and Goku opens a portal, seeing Earth slowly being destroyed by the attacks. "I thought the battle would've barely started by now. What happened to the time chamber stuff, Daishinkan?"

"It seems Qhuteus has made an error in his plan and prevented the dimension from properly functioning when he contained us," the Grand Priest replies. "Let's enter the battle."

A dark figure appears in front of the portal, launching a blast of wind to knock them back. He leaps into the chamber, getting into a stance. "I cannot let you go any further, Daishinkan, Son Goku."

Goku squints, immediately recognizing the figure. "Abysus..."

The god walks forward, cracking his knuckles. Zeno turns toward him and raises his hand, prepared to erase him, but then he suddenly is pulled into the portal, it closing behind him.

"Zen-chan!" Goku runs toward the portal but Abysus shoots in front of him, punching him in the face and sending him back. "Out of the way, Abysus!"

The evil god chuckles, a dark aura overcoming all of them. Vegeta nearly falls to his knees from the pressure, but Goku and Daishinkan stand their ground. "Oh? Impressive. I would've expected my aura to have crushed you, Saiyan. Something is different about you."

Goku walks forward, his eyes turning silver with no aura around him. He enters Ultra Instinct Omen. "I'll handle this, Daishinkan. You focus on making the portal."

Abysus chuckles before raising his fist. "So you're volunteering to die? Very well."

He swings a heavy punch, but it phases through Goku, confusing him. "What?"

The Saiyan vanishes behind him, not doing anything. He spins around and goes to kick Goku, but he'd already be gone. "That's impossible. I'm as strong as I was in my prime... Is it this dimension?"

Daishinkan smiles, slowly opening the portal to Earth. "Goku's been training for two thousand years. He's the most powerful warrior in the multiverse."

"What a bunch of bullshit!" He yells, powering up. He zooms toward Goku and swings a punch, forcing the Saiyan to block it. Their momentum sends them far away from Daishinkan, flying across the dimension.

Goku smirks as he grabs Abysus and slams him to the ground, destroying it. "GAHHH!" He then kicks him up, sending him flying. "BASTARD! I'll wipe you out with this entire dimension!"

They go back and forth, flying at incredible speeds. Abysus enters his full power, a massive golden aura surrounding him. He does a front flip and slams his two feet into Goku's gut, sending him crashing through the floor.

"Cocky bastard," he says, hovering to the ground. "You don't know who you're dealing with."

"I could say the same about you," Goku says, getting up.

The evil god takes a step back, sweat going down his face. "You're... alive?!"

Goku closes his eyes, and his hair spikes up. He combines Super Saiyan Blue with Ultra Instinct Omen, sliding his foot back. "Now it's my turn."

At speeds previously thought impossible by a mortal, he appears in front of Abysus, slamming his fist into his gut. The evil god takes a step back, completely stunned. His pupils fade as he falls to the ground, unconscious.

The Saiyan powers down, teleporting next to Daishinkan. "That takes care of him. He's not the real problem, though. Qhuteus is my main enemy."

They fly through the portal, appearing on Earth. Immediately, all the fights come to a halt. Everybody looks up to see Goku, Daishinkan, and Vegeta descending to the ground.

Krillin smiles. "It's good to see you again, Goku."

Gohan leaps away from Cell and looks up in awe. "No way... Dad? His energy... It's like he's become an actual deity!"

"It looks like the battle can truly begin," Dende says, as a bit of sunlight shines through the dark clouds.

Frieza scoffs. "This atmosphere is sickening. I'm going to return to the battle now."

Omesus growls at the sight of them. "Those two again..."

Qhuteus picks up Zeno by the arm using two fingers. "I wouldn't be so cheerful... I have the one responsible for the entire multiverse. Right now, I could crush his fragile head, but I won't yet. After all, that would kill all the fun."

He tosses Zeno into an energy cage and closes it. "Now... Let the battles continue."

Raditz has obtained Super Saiyan 4, Goku fought Abysus, and he, alongside Daishinkan, was able to escape the trapped dimension. With Goku there, the tides of the battle may tip in their favor. Find out what happens in the next chapter!
