After defeating Cell, Raditz, Babidi, and Buu, the rest of the fighters fly off to assist the gods in the battle against Omesus and Zateus. Zamasu loses to Jiren, but Qhuteus gives him one last chance to stop the fighters from further delaying his plans, thus giving him a tremendous boost in power. Will the fusion be able to succeed in stopping our heroes, or will he fall under their combined power? Find out now.

Chapter Twenty-Eight

Jiren vanishes next to Zamasu, swinging his fist. The fusion catches his punch and uppercuts him, sending tremors throughout the area. He spins around and kicks the brute, sending him flying through a massive rock.

Hit uses his time skip and lands a blow on Zamasu's chest, irritating him. He leaps back and raises his hand, a purple outline surrounding Zamasu and stopping him in his tracks. "I've got him trapped in my Time Cage. Do it!"

Caulifla yells, powering up once again. She leaps forward, launching an energy beam at the god, but he simply raises his hand, breaking out of the time cage and deflecting it.

He vanishes behind the Saiyan and goes to slice her in half with an energy blade, but a hand catches it. He turns to see Gohgeta holding it. "You... That energy..."

Jiren flies forward in his full power, nailing Zamasu in the back, with no effect. Gohgeta roars and spins around, swinging a kick at his face. Fused Zamasu blocks the attack and yells, sending the fusion away with a beam of light.

Gohgeta enters his full power and appears next to him, nailing him in the face with a kick and sending him flying across the entire battlefield. Omesus turns around just to be hit by Zamasu, skidding back. "What the hell?!"

Whis turns toward Gohgeta in the distance, raising his eyebrows. "Oh, my. That's new."

[Music: Revenger - Lux-Inspira]

Beerus smirks as he sees an entire group of fighters fly toward them, joining them. "It's about damn time."

Seji watches as Piccolo lands next to him, panting. "I came as fast as I could, master. Zamasu's the only one left."

Kale, Cabba, Hop, Murichim, Ribrianne, Chappil, Paparoni, the Pride Troopers, Yamcha, Chiaotzu, and many more would arrive.

Gohgeta and Goten land next to the gods and angels, getting into a fighting stance. Champa turns in time to catch a body. It would be Frost's battered body. Frieza walks forward, chuckling. "He's quite the formidable one."

The god of destruction growls, tossing the body to the ground. "Bastard... Whose side are you on?!"

"Oh, he isn't dead yet," the emperor replies, smiling. "You best get one of your angels to heal him, though. He's fading quite quickly."

"I'll handle this," Whis says, walking forward. He spins his staff and taps it on the ground, healing everybody and restoring their energy. "Goodness, that was quite a bit."

Omesus grabs Zamasu by the neck, slowly crushing it. "Looks like you've failed to be useful. What a shame."

A projection of Qhuteus appears behind Omesus, shocking the Saiyan. "I gave him a boost to act as a catalyst for our... plan... He has immortality, after all."

Omesus grunts, dropping the fusion to the ground. "Don't get in my way."

Seething in rage, Zamasu roars and kicks him in the gut, sending him flying through a mountain. This would shock all the fighters.

"Don't you dare talk down on me, you damn mortal!" he yells, his eyes flickering white. "I will be the one to handle this myself."

The projection of Qhuteus glares down on him, freezing him in place. "Don't be mistaken, puny Kai. If you interfere with our plan-"

"You have no power over me!" The fusion replies, swiping his hand through the projection. "After all, you're distracted by your fight with Son Goku. I'll put you all in your place myself."

The distant mountain explodes, as Omesus flies toward Zamasu and swings a punch, forcing the fusion to block. He grunts, the sheer force of it nearly breaking his arm.

The fusion yells and creates a massive Ki blade, going to slice Omesus's arm off, but the brute avoids it by launching a blast at him with his other arm. "Tch… Qhuteus shouldn't have given him this boost. What was he thinking?"

"Save your energy for the others," Zateus says, walking up to Zamasu. "I'll handle this one."

Zamasu suddenly feels a pair of red eyes staring at him. He freezes as Zateus walks up to him and pins him by his arms with one hand. "We'll handle you later. Do not interfere."

The fusion tries to kick his leg, but he doesn't budge. "Tch... Damn you!"

Omesus launches toward the fighters in his Legendary Super Saiyan form. Broly powers up as well, launching toward the Saiyan God and clashing a punch with him.

The ground splits apart, an explosion sending many of the fighters back. Omesus roars and kicks Broly in the gut, sending him flying back. "GAH!"

The Pride Troopers swarm Omesus, barraging him with attacks. He waves his hand, sending them flying with little effort. Tien flies above him, yelling. "KI-KO-HO!"

The massive blast slams into the brute but doesn't affect him at all. He vanishes in front of Tien and goes to grab him, but then Trunks deflects his attack. "Oh?"

The two land on the ground in front of each other. Trunks yells, entering Super Saiyan Blue. "Looks like Goten finally broke his limits. I'll go all out as well!"

He roars, the terrain exploding under him. Gohgeta's eyes widen as his aura turns dark blue and wavy. The young Saiyan enters Super Saiyan Blue Evolution, a bright light engulfing the area.

Goten lands next to him in Super Saiyan God Evolution, and the two launch side by side, barraging the Saiyan God. He parries their attacks, with his face expressionless. "You two have superb skills for your age, but we are enemies, unfortunately."

He claps his hands, sending a shock wave that launches the two Saiyans flying. Toppo runs forward, entering his Destroyer form. He roars and swings a punch, which Omesus blocks, his arm shaking slightly.

Jiren vanishes in front of him in his full power, slamming a punch into his gut. The brute coughs up spit, taken off guard by the attack. He then roars, the force of his aura alone sending the Pride Troopers away.

Chi-Chi yells and kicks him, which does absolutely nothing. He goes to flick her but Krillin pushes her to the side and ducks under the attack, launching a Kamehameha.

Omesus knocks the blast away with the back of his hand, launching Krillin back with a simple blast. Frieza leaps up and front flips, kicking him in the chest. The brute tumbles back, giving an opening for Gohgeta, who launches a Galick Gun. "DAAGHH!"

The brute flies back through multiple mountains, the prince's pure power knocking him down for a brief moment. Everybody flies toward the Saiyan, but he gets up, entering Super Saiyan White.

Gohgeta leaps toward Omesus, but Zateus gets in the way and blocks his attack. "You're going to be fighting me, fusion."

Gohgeta enters his full power: his Ultimate form mixed with God Ki and White Divine energy. He charges up and launches blasts out of his feet, flying toward Zateus at full velocity.

He launches a Masenko that the evil god blocks, skidding back. "Hm... A unique transformation you have."

The brute waves his hand, and a burst of wind hits Gohgeta, stunning him. Frieza yells, launching a barrage of death beams that Omesus deflects with his finger. "What the?! That can't be!"

Omesus vanishes behind him and nails him in the side of the head with a punch, sending him tumbling back. "You remind me of somebody I met a long, long time ago in my early days. Someone like you."

The emperor grunts, getting off the ground and pushing his limits. "Damn it... Even in my platinum form... I WILL NOT YIELD!"

He leaps forward, swinging a kick, but the Saiyan catches it, staring at him. "Ah, I remember now. The Frost Demon King, Qube. Sentenced to erasure by the Grand Priest for killing the gods of destruction."

Frieza grunts and kicks him in the shin, making him let go. "What the hell are you talking about?"

"Qube was a powerful being, maybe even more powerful than I was," Omesus replies. "He gave birth to the Frost Demon race, a race too powerful for the multiverse. They ruled over many universes and even killed some gods of destruction in protest. Daishinkan himself had to step in."

He turns toward Daishinkan, who would watch the battle from a distance. "They nearly went extinct, but they still seem to linger to this day. Why don't you perhaps join me, emperor? Frost Demons are known for their sense of superiority. You will be a god."

Frieza pauses, and Omesus turns toward the others. "The decision is yours. You could build your own empire with no interference."

The emperor would recall his previous failures, all starting from Planet Namek where Son Goku obtained the Super Saiyan transformation against him. He later died to another one of his kind but was resurrected years later after obtaining his Golden form, only to lose the battle again.

Even with Broly, he still wasn't able to win. With these Saiyans around, he won't have a chance to do anything. He's been desperate for years now to destroy them.

Goten gets up and leaps forward toward Omesus, but Frieza steps in the way and kicks him down to the ground, stunning him. Omesus chuckles, walking toward the rest of the fighters. "Very well."

Trunks clenches his fists, running toward the emperor. "TRAITOR!" He yells and launches a blast that Frieza blocks and knocks away. "I was never on your side in the first place. I only agree to help the monkey because we both share a common interest. We both want our obstacles gone."

Frieza raises his hand and creates a Ki blade. "Honestly, even the evil gods are too merciful. Allow me to demonstrate."

He vanishes behind Hop and stabs the blade through her heart, shocking everybody. He pumps energy into her, which results in a gigantic explosion. "One down... Many more to go."

The emperor smiles coldly toward the rest, who flies after him, yelling. Kunshi tries to entangle him with ropes, but he leaps above the Pride Trooper and stabs him in the chest, doing the same thing he did to Hop.

Another explosion ensues, and the other heroes watch in shock as he laughs. "Two down... Who's next?"

[Music: Two Steps From Hell - Stallion]

Good Buu leaps forward, yelling. He swings a punch, but Frieza ducks and stabs the blade into him, pumping energy into him and causing an explosion. "HA HA HA HA!"

Buu reforms, wrapping himself around Frieza to restrain him. "What the?!"

Android 18 creates energy clones and sends them toward Frieza, which explodes on contact. He grunts and bursts his aura, breaking out of Buu's grip. He back flips, with burn marks on his body. "Tch..."

"KAMEHAMEHA!" Krillin and Master Roshi launch a combined blast, but the emperor whacks it away with his tail and runs forward at insane speeds, grabbing Krillin by the face and slamming him to the ground.

Omesus plows through some of the other fighters, injuring them. Master Roshi launches a Kamehameha, which he plows through and sends the human flying.

Goten and Trunks stand side-by-side, watching the carnage going on. "There's only one option left, Trunks."

Trunks nods in agreement, as the two start doing a dance. "FUU... SION... HA!"

Their fingertips connect, and an explosion of energy distracts both Frieza and Omesus.

A ray of light beams out as Gotenks walks forward, his hair half red and half dark blue. White divine energy particles swirl around him, being far more intense than before. "Alright!"

Without giving Frieza the chance to react, the fusion grabs him and throws him into Omesus, launching him back as well. "What is this force?!"

Omesus leaps forward, barraging the fusion, but he blocks the attacks, stepping back and slamming a punch in his face, stunning him. Frieza vanishes behind and tries to blast him, but Gotenks leaps up with great versatility, wrapping a Galactic Donut around the emperor.

The Saiyan God roars, launching forward at full speed. He enters full power and goes to grab Gotenks, but Whis vanishes in front of him and knocks his hand away with his staff.

"Buy me some time to use my ultimate attack!" Gotenks says, as he inhales all the way and blows what looks like steam out of his mouth, slowly forming something.

"As you wish," the angel replies, as the rest of them fly toward and attack Omesus, keeping him occupied. Daishinkan summons his staff and walks toward the battle between Gohgeta and Zateus, preparing to help them out.

Omesus yells, punching the angels back. Broly gets up after being knocked out for a moment and roars, his aura exploding. He powers up, a dark green aura consuming him. He opens his eyes, and they would glow red.

His aura waves back and forth like a fire. He growls, almost having full control of the state. He flies up and rams into Omesus, knocking the wind out of him. "How is this possible...? Losing to my own kind? Something's not right..."

He flies back, watching everybody getting closer to him. "How could the mortals have gotten as strong, no... stronger than the angels themselves? What powerful being could've done something like that? Daishinkan was pre-occupied with Son Goku."

Omesus then notices somebody in the corner of his eye. He looks down to see Seji, and his eyes widen, sweat going down his face. "Could he... have done it?! The son of Zalama, the dragon god? But why would he?.."

Gotenks chuckles, as he waves his hand, a massive, transparent figure moving toward the Saiyan God. "What the hell is that?!"

"This is… the Ultimate Ghost Kamikaze Attack!" The fusion yells, as a massive ghost crashes down on Omesus, detonating. The resulting explosion would be catastrophic.

Omesus falls to the ground, burn marks all over his body. He'd be severely damaged from Gotenks's attack. "I can't win against them, even in my full power... Zateus, forgive me. I couldn't bring true peace by destroying the gods."

He slowly looks up to see Seji walking up to him. "I know who taught you how to use your true power."

The Saiyan God's eyes widen. "Lies... You're lying!"

"Your true master... was my father, Zalama," Seji says, as everybody falls silent for a moment. "My father allowed your escape from the wrath of the gods and taught you and Zateus how to use your true powers."

"How do you know this?!" Omesus asks, swinging a punch, but Seji dodges it, his expression unchanged. "... He just told me."

The Saiyan's anger fades, and he lowers his fist. "What...? He's... alive?"

Seji raises his staff, charging a blast. "You were misguided ever since your closest friend's death by the hands of the gods. And now, I shall pass the same judgment on you."

A blur shoots by in an instant, surprising Seji. Zateus would've grabbed Omesus, flying to a safe place. "Are you okay, Omesus?"

"I'm fine," the Saiyan God replies. "He... he knows about our past. Zalama told him."

Zateus's eyes widen, and he turns toward Seji, getting increasingly enraged. Suddenly, Gohgeta vanishes in front of him and goes to attack, but he splits back apart into Vegeta and Gohan, surprising the two.

Zamasu gets up and laughs, his energy rising. "Finally, I am free! Time to die, mortal-"

A dark glob of energy surrounds him and restrains him, shocking him. "What the?!"

He turns his head to see a figure forming behind him. It would be... Abysus. "I'll do my father's work while I heal. You're not going anywhere."

"HAAAA!" Zateus yells and sends them out of the planet's atmosphere with a flick of his wrist. Daishinkan takes a step forward and zooms in front of Zateus, slamming his staff down on him.

The evil god grunts, blocking the attack. "You didn't fuse with your angels, and yet you're this strong?"

He yells and sends a burst of energy that sends the Grand Priest skidding back. He leaps forward as the two clash back and forth, their power tearing part of the surface apart.

Zateus closes his eyes and flickers into Ultra Instinct, zapping Daishinkan away with an electric blast. The angels fly up toward him, attacking him, but his eyes turn red and all of them fall to the ground, grunting.

He uses his Judgement Lock, freezing everybody in place. Many pass out completely, unable to comprehend his power. "It's time to finish this battle."

Zateus raises his hand and charges up a blast, its very presence shaking the multiverse. Rays of light illuminate the galaxy. "You may have gotten stronger, but so have I..."

He throws the blast, the entire universe warping slightly. Daishinkan gets up and enters Ultra Instinct Stage 2, smiling. "You may be the first mortal and have bested me twice..."

He walks forward, his staff glowing brightly. "But... I am the attendant of Lord Zeno. I have been training with the most powerful mortal to ever exist for two thousand years."

He spins his staff and slams it on the ground, a giant energy avatar manifesting around him. "Allow me to show you how much better I've become!"

The avatar blocks Zateus's attack, surprising him. "Now... Let's begin our rematch, Zateus. Do not hold back."

Goku and Qhuteus fly toward one another and clash their fist, an explosion of energy affecting the order of the entire multiverse. Cracks open on the earth's surface, a bit of lava pouring out.

"I'm quite impressed with your raw power," Qhuteus says. "We've been fighting like this for half an hour. Why don't we kick things up a notch?"

Goku roars, as his aura sparkles and glows. He instantly appears in front of Qhuteus, launching a Kamehameha. An invisible barrier stops the attack, and he laughs, swiping the Saiyan away.

The Saiyan stops, grunting. "You're strong, Qhuteus. I'm only getting started, though!"

He raises his finger, and millions of Ki, God Ki, and White Divine orbs appear above him. He launches all the attacks toward the sorcerer, who knocks them away without moving.

They go toward each other again, and clash elbows, another massive shock wave shifting the universes. Qhuteus raises his hand, covering it with a strange, ominous red energy.

"What the-" He slams it into Goku, making him cough up blood. Dark red electricity stabs through him, shocking him. The sheer force of it pushes him back, crashing into the landscape and splitting it in half, knocking all the fighters back.

"I've discovered a certain power of my unknown species," Qhuteus says, lowering his hand. "The ability to manifest dark energy not even I know much about, but it's capable of damaging anything. Perhaps it's something even greater than your White Divine power."

Goku teleports behind him, shocking him. The Saiyan roars and swings his fist, landing it on the sorcerer and sending him flying back. Daishinkan leaps toward Zateus, a glowing blue trail following him.

He enters Stage 2 and appears above Zateus, slamming him to the ground with his staff. He goes to finish him, but Zateus kicks his staff away, nailing him in the gut with a kick.

The Grand Priest skids back, retrieving his staff. "Looks like Goku-san's battle has picked up as well. This is your last battle, Zateus. It's time to put an end to billions of years of conflict."
