Tori: Jade...I can't. It wrecks me to see you in any pain, but I don't have any right to do this.
Jade: I'm an adult. I'm giving you the right.
Tori: But Joyce...and William...
Jade: I already said my goodbyes to them, but they won't honor my wishes. You will...right?
Tori: I can't...kill you with an overdose.
Jade: Tori, I'm dying from my illness, not my dosage. This accelerates the process. I'd rather go out on a wave than a rock. And I want my best friend to help me out...
Tori: I'm going to help you, but not like that. You have to believe me, Jade.
Jade: Why, Tori? You're just bailing on me like everybody else! Why don't you go now? You've been wanting to since you got here, right? So go and don't come back. (Jade turns her face away from Tori)
Tori: Jade, I am never leaving you again.
Tori focuses on the photo.
Tori: I'm sorry, William...
After a successful focus, Tori returns to her 15-year-old body.
William: I hope the flash didn't scare you, Tori.
(Phone rings, William picks up)
William: Hello? Hey, honey... What? Oh, I didn't know you had to get groceries. Of course, I'll come pick you up.
(Tori stands near the fireplace and looks at the photo William just took)
William Shit, where are my keys?
(William searches under the hat and finds the keys)
William: A-ha! You can't hide from me forever!
(Tori burns the photo in the fireplace)
William: And no Jade and Tori wine-tasting session...
Jade: Dad!
William: Don't blow it because tonight your mother promised to make her world-famous salmon surprise with chocolate cake for dessert. Tori, you'll be here too, right?
Jade: Tori isn't leaving me.
William: That makes all of us. (William walks out the door)
(Tori leans against the wall with her head in her hands)
Jade: Tori, you are being so fucking strange, like you're never going to see us again.
Tori: Jade, I'm so sorry... I tried to make things different for you... I...I did try...I'm sorry.
Jade: I don't know exactly what you're talking about, but come on. (Jade holds Tori's hands) You have made things different, like my whole life. You're my best friend. I've got you and a great family. What's to be sorry for? We'll be best friends forever. And when we grow up we're taking over the world.
Tori: Listen, whatever happens, I want you to be strong. Even if you feel like I wasn't there for you...because I will never abandon you, Jade. (Tori holds Jade's hands) I'll always have your back. Always.
(Fades to white, scenes of the alternative timeline revert back to the original events)
