Dragon Ball Aftermath: Rewrite
Act 2 - Written Trailer
After defeating Qhuzarus and learning about the Metaverses thanks to Adia, Goku has gone to the Central and found an arena to fight freely. With little difficulty, he defeated an alternate Daishinkan, but he now has a true challenge: his rival from another multiverse.
Vegeta goes to uppercut him, but Goku leaps out of the way and spin kicks him, knocking him back. The Omni King turns toward him, wiping blood off his lip. He smirks and flies forward, ramming into the Saiyan and knocking him to the ground.
Goku gets up, clutching his gut. Vegeta lands, walking up to him. "Is that all, Kakarot? I should've expected better from you."
The Saiyan opens his eyes, which would be glowing. Vegeta's eyes widen, taking a step back. "What the?!"
Goku roars, a halo appearing behind his head and wings forming out of his back. A massive beam of energy crashes through the arena's barrier and shatters it.
A new enemy to the gods...
Five guardians surround Goku in front of a set of Super Dragon Balls. One enters Full Power Stage Two and flies forward, bringing a white blade down. The Saiyan catches it with two fingers, his eyes a fiery blue. His hair glows a neon purple as the surrounding multiverses shake.
"Nothing, not even the guardians, will stop me from bringing back my multiverse," he says. He twirls his index finger, the white blade warping around it and then shattering.
A new war is brewing...
The Overlords walk forward, kneeling in front of the Time Council. The head of the council looks down at them with expressionless eyes. "We have found the location of the Dragon God Zalama. However, an obstacle stands in our way."
It raises its hand, creating a projection of Goku in Ultra Instinct Stage Three. "This version of Son Goku has obtained the power of an Overlord without explanation. Bring him to me, dead or alive."
And an ancient being awakens...
In a strange realm, red lightning strikes everywhere at once violently. A shadowy figure walks forward, stopping in front of a glowing cage. "They're looking for you. Thanks to your power, I'll soon be free again..."
Lightning strikes close, as light would illuminate a cloaked figure in chains for a split second.
