Tori wakes up on the plane. Principal Wells is asleep in the aisle seat next to her.
Tori: (thinking) Whoa!
Tori looks out the window at the wing of the plane.
Tori: (thinking) Okay... You're okay, Tori... You're safe...on a plane. I hope I did everything right this time.
Tori leans forward to look at the newspaper in front of Wells. The headline says "Local Teacher Arrested!".
Tori: (thinking) Good work, David.
Tori takes her phone out of her pocket to check her text messages.
Jade (SMS): HOLY SHIT YOU RULE TORI!
Jade (SMS): I am so proud of my superstar
Jade (SMS): this is just the start of your career
Tori: Jade... Oh, you're alive... Oh, you're alive. I did it... I fixed everything. Wowser.
Tori puts her phone away again and relaxes in the seat.
Announcement: Please fasten your seat and stow any electronic gear until the plane is on the ground and at the gate. Thank you. We're starting our descent in a few minutes. It's a beautiful day in San Francisco with clear skies and cool 60 degrees. We hope you enjoyed your trip, and we thank you very much for choosing PacificWest Air. Come fly with us anytime.
Principal Wells: (groaning) Ah, I don't think so. I'm hoping these airline seats get smaller so I won't have to fly at all anymore.
Tori walks slowly near the entrance of the gallery and stares in awe at the people and pictures. Principal Wells is talking to the woman at the front desk. Tori approaches him and touches his arm to get his attention, and he turns to face her.
Tori: San Francisco is so cool...and this gallery is huge!
Principal Wells: So is the buffet. If an event skimps on the food, you know it's a bad event.
Tori: As long as I don't have to eat any caviar...
Principal Wells: This is your day, Tori. You can do whatever you want. I hope you take advantage of your status and talk to as many influential people here as possible. Work the room.
Tori: I don't know... I feel so weird, like I'm a little kid hanging with the adults.
Principal Wells: Tori, after this week, you are certainly not a little kid anymore. In fact, you're a noteworthy adult being honored by your peers. Now, you have to start acting like the photographer you want to be. Hell, I wanted to be in charge of a big school someday, so I started taking charge of things when I was young. [chuckles] Ask my poor classmates... Tori, I'm gonna eat up that caviar so you don't have to. Better get in there and start schmoozing. You know, I won't always be here to take charge.
Tori: (thinking) Come on, Tori... After everything that's happened, this should be the least scary thing you've ever done. Tori... You did it. Somehow... I went from the Dark Room...to this gallery. I've been through so many realities in one week. Life is...weird.
Principal Wells: Don't sell yourself short, Tori.
Tori: Maybe I feel guilty for celebrating...
Principal Wells: Leave that to me. I...I should've been more proactive about Kate Marsh and her awful situation. She's strong, and I'm glad she made it out of that hell. I should've put my foot down with Ryder Daniels...or put my foot in his ass.
Tori: It's not your fault. You didn't know what really happened...
Principal Wells: I know, but...that's not a good excuse for a principal.
Principal Wells: And Jefferson had such a great reputation. Nobody expected him to be so...disturbed. I couldn't believe the police found those sick photos in his dark room. [sighs] Those poor girls...
Tori: At least he's in jail along with Ryder for kidnapping and murder.
Principal Wells: And Sean Daniels is now under serious investigation for all his years of corruption. Money and power can only protect you for so long in Arcadia Bay. The irony is that, for once, Sean Daniels actually had no clue what was going on with Jefferson...and he even brought him to Blackwell.
Tori: I—I'd like to think there's some karma involved... The Daniels have had this coming.
Principal Wells: I do believe that what goes around, comes around. I just hope it's all good for a change.
Tori: I'm hoping this is a fresh start, Principal Wells.
Principal Wells: Like I said before, you're an adult now. Now, if you'll excuse me, I hear the buffet calling for me again...
Tori looks at her photo.
Woman: Hey, and there she is to save the day.
Tori: Hi.
Tori: (thinking) You did it, Tori... You're a real artist. At least...for today...
Tori's nose starts to bleed. She grasps her head in her hands as visions of the storm flash and swirl.
Jade: (faintly, echoing) Tori!
Tori awakes from her vision.
Tori: Jade!
Woman: Hey, are you okay? We lost you there for a second...
Man: Uh, your nose!
Tori: I'm okay... Uh, jet lag... High altitude...
Tori walks away and the group watches her with concern.
Tori sits down on one of the benches, holding her phone.
Tori: [sighs] You left the ringer off, idiot!
Tori sees that she has 6 missed calls from Jade. She dials her number and lifts the phone to her ear.
Tori: [sighs] (worriedly) Come on... Please answer...
Jade: (over phone, scared) Tori! Holy shit, man! Your vision! It's...it's true! Y—you saw the tornado, it's coming!
Tori: What?! Oh, no... Jade, where are you?
Jade: (over phone, scared) I'm so fucking scared! I'm...I'm by the beach, I—I'm stuck in the t—ah—!
Jade's voice cuts off and there is silence on the phone.
Tori: (worriedly) Jade! Can you hear me? Hello? Hello?!
Tori puts her phone back in her jacket and gets up.
Tori: (thinking) Oh, my god, [sighs] the tornado was real! [sighs frustratedly] Oh, I didn't fix shit! Jade will die... Arcadia Bay is gonna be destroyed... There has to be a way to stop this...for good!
Tori returns to her photo and attempts to focus on it. The longer it takes her to focus, the more people will interrupt her.
She is interrupted by a man trying to talk to her.
Man: Excuse me, I'd love to ask you a few questions about your work?
Tori: Sorry, but...
Tori resumes her focus. She is interrupted again, this time by a woman wearing glasses.
Woman: Oh, you're Tori Vega, right? Tell me what kind of instant camera you used!
Tori: Can we talk later? Thanks...
Tori attempts to focus again.
Tori: (thinking) I literally do not have the time to deal with everybody...
Another man tries to talk to Tori.
Man: Oh, hey... I totally am into your photography.
Tori: Not right now...
Tori resumes focusing.
Tori: (thinking) Focus, Tori! Jade needs you now!
A woman interrupts Tori.
Woman: Oh, my gosh! [gasps] Can I pick your brain for an hour?
Tori: Thanks, but I—I'm busy...
Tori tries to focus again.
A camera flash goes off. Tori stands in her room, in front of her wall of photos. Her nose starts bleeding again.
Tori: Oh, shit! Oh, my head...
Tori looks at her room; the walls are red and yellow blobs, shifting and moving.
Tori: (thinking) What is going on now? I—It feels like reality is...breaking apart... [shaky breath] What am I doing to time?
Tori looks at the polaroid photo she just took.
Tori: (thinking) I just have to make one simple change...so I won't end up in San Francisco. [sighs] Simple...
Tori tears up her contest photo.
Tori: Sorry, San Francisco... Jade comes first.
Tori holding up the winning contest photo is replaced with Tori putting the torn photo in her diary. Tori getting into a taxi is replaced with Jefferson burning Tori's diary. Tori entering a taxi with Wells is replaced by Tori tied to a chair in the Dark Room. Tori looking at her photo in the art gallery is replaced with Jefferson entering the Dark Room.
Tori wakes up in the Dark Room, tied to the chair.
Tori: Oh, fuck! (thinking) God, no... I'm back here again?! I thought I fixed everything!
Jefferson stands over Tori, his arms crossed.
Jefferson: What did you say, Tori?
Tori: (thinking) What?! Jefferson should be in jail, not here...
Jefferson: Jesus. It's like you're back in my class. You're still...spacing...out. It might be cool if you took one of your patented selfies now... The transformation between the old Tori and the new Tori...
Tori's right foot is shown to be free from the restraint. Tori's fearful and confused expression turns to a scowl.
Jefferson: Anyway, answer my question, please.
Tori: Fuck you.
Jefferson: Good answer, good answer.
Tori's nose begins bleeding. Jefferson leans in to inspect it and holds Tori's head as she struggles, then steps back.
Jefferson: Hey...your nose is bleeding. Probably gave you too big a dose. Sorry about that, Tori. But considering you're about to die, a nosebleed is a first-world problem.
Jefferson: Your iris... That...dilation like a shutter...the pictures you're taking of me now. Too bad you pissed away your gift. You could have won the contest, but you destroyed your own beautiful photograph. What a waste. Sorry. I burned all your stuff. I got a little carried away.
Tori looks over to see the burned remains of her journal in a tray on the trolley.
Jefferson: (in background) You know, I always believed in your vision.
Tori: (thinking) Fuck! He burned my diary! That's why I'm still here.
Jefferson: Especially since you've developed from nerd to hero within a week. There's something...weird going on with you.
The lights in the room flicker and thunder can be heard outside. Jefferson looks at the ceiling and then back at Tori.
Jefferson: Whoa! Did you see how crazy it is outside? Like I said...something weird... There's that fear... Oh, Tori... It's an honor working with you on these final sessions. I hope these images will be appreciated for what they truly capture. The loss...of youth. [chuckles] At least...that's the last lecture you'll ever have to hear from me.
Jefferson: And I promise you...no more nosebleeds.
Tori: (shaky voice) Mr. Jefferson... Please...don't do this. You don't know what's happening.
Jefferson: Sh-sh-sh-sh-sh... Quiet...quiet, Tori.
Jefferson walks away and Tori struggles against her bonds, sobbing a little.
Tori: Please! Don't do this!
Jefferson fills a syringe and walks over to Tori.
Jefferson: I promise. This final dose won't hurt.
Jefferson tilts Tori's head to expose her neck, about to inject her with the needle. Noises are heard outside the room.
Jefferson: What?
Jefferson runs over to hide behind the entrance, putting down the needle and grabbing a tripod. David enters, holding a gun.
Tori: (thinking) David!
Jefferson knocks the gun out of David's hands with the tripod. David takes a fighting stance and tries to punch Jefferson, but gets hit in the stomach with the tripod. David doubles over, holding his stomach, and Jefferson hits him in the head, knocking David unconscious.
Tori: No, David! No!
Jefferson: Jesus... David Madsen! He's out cold... Good. I always hated that fascist fuck. Everybody at Blackwell did, right, Tori?
Jefferson drops the tripod and picks up the syringe, approaching Tori again.
Jefferson: Okay... Let's try this one last time...
He places the tip against Tori's neck. Tori rewinds.
As Jefferson grabs the tripod, Tori can warn David.
Tori: David, watch out!
Jefferson turns to her, surprised.
Jefferson: How...how did you know that?!
Jefferson knocks the gun out of David's hands with the tripod, which causes David's head to contact a column sticking out from the wall. Jefferson swings the tripod at David's head, knocking him to the floor.
Jefferson runs over to a cabinet and David chases him, but Jefferson grabs a gun and shoots David, and he falls onto the couch behind him.
Jefferson: David Madsen...of course. Well, this is what you get for playing cop—a real bullet.
Tori rewinds again.
Tori uses her foot to pull the cable on one of the lights, knocking it over and distracting Jefferson. David punches Jefferson's face twice, knocking off his glasses and knocking him to the floor. He rushes over to Tori and undoes her restraints.
David: Oh, Lord, Tori...are you okay? Are you alright? Can you move?
Tori: Yes... Thank you, David...thank you...
David: Don't thank me... You brought me here.
David notices Jefferson move his head.
David: Let's wrap up this son of a bitch first.
David holsters the gun on the ground, then punches Jefferson in the face again, knocking him unconscious. Tori gets out of the chair.
David: He won't be going anywhere when he wakes up.
David turns Jefferson over and puts duct tape around his wrists.
David: Except you are going to prison forever. Or worse.
Tori: Mr. Jefferson? Now it's your turn to be captured in a moment... Save Jade...
Tori looks at her burned diary.
Tori: (thinking) He burned everything...including all of my photos... Warren! Yes! I can use that picture he took of us!
Tori tries to use her phone.
Tori: Shit! No signal.
Tori grabs the car keys on the table.
Tori: Thanks, Mr. Jefferson, but...you won't need this anymore.
Tori puts the keys in her pocket.
Tori: (thinking) I better go outside and call Warren... Please answer...
Tori tries to leave the Dark Room.
David: Hold on, Tori. So, where is Jade?
