Three days after the loan shark business Updike had gone out, BF, GF, and others watched the TV at BF's apartment, hoping that the authorities hadn't spotted BF's fingerprints from the eviscerated corpses of the employees. Everyone was tense but kept their cool and anxiety under control as the news report was nearing its end.
"Ultimately, the deaths of the employees inside Updike's business were caused by impossible circumstances." The news reporter finishes the report on Updike's business, which cuts to a commercial.
Everyone in the room sighed in sheer relief, some with comical reactions.
"Oh my God, BF. You are so fucking lucky, dude." Cassandra clenched her chest from her pounding heart.
"Yeah, to be fair, I wasn't sure I would get off easy from all of that." BF scratched his head in embarrassment.
"Well, thankfully, the police and the authorities will have to chalk up the deaths as undetermined deaths. But I feel like if there's anyone who would know BF caused those unexplainable murders, it would be Tankman and Hank for sure." Tabi crossed his arms, aware of Tankman and Hank's places in the government.
"I doubt they'll waste their time on doing so. We all know Updike's loan shark business isn't military-related. And besides, Tankman and Hank's army is the best military force in the world. Hank created the army from scratch and caused a WW3 scenario in which all the military companies got fucked by Hank. Tankman tried to stop him, but he became Hank's righthand man and vice president of that military company. Even the highest ranks of every government in the world didn't want to fight against them." Pico explained the backstory of Hank and Tankman's history.
"That explains why everyone was in a panic two years ago. How did no one know about that until one year later?" Ayana asked.
"Probably didn't want the world to get more worked up than it had. Either way, we should be glad Hank and Tankman are running the military business for the betterment of everyone." GF sighed, remembering the news of the army rising to dominance.
"They were assholes, but age must've mellowed them out, amazingly enough." Dalia smokes a cigarette.
"By the way, does Whitty, Carol, and Sunday know about this? I'm sure they saw the news report, too." Tabi asked about them.
"Well, if anything, they're probably on their way right now. Whitty is quite worked up about what happened three days ago. And we all know how temperamental Whitty is, so Carol and Sunday don't trust him to go out on his own with situations like this." BF puts on his cap.
Somebody knocks on BF's door from near the kitchen.
"And that's probably them," BF said, getting up from the couch and heading to the door.
BF walks over to the door, looks through the peephole to see Whitty, Carol, and Sunday, and opens the door to greet them.
"Hey, guys." BF waved to them casually.
"Holy shit, BF. Carol, Sunday, and I saw the news. You better tell us you don't have any blood on you." Whitty gives a pent-up expression on his face.
"Don't worry, Whitty. I don't have blood on me, and they won't find out I caused those gnarly murders." BF reassured him.
"But what about Hank and Tankman? Everyone knows they took Updike somewhere right before the police showed up." Sunday asked him.
"They probably took Updike to an unknown military outpost somewhere, which, knowing them, might be their HQ where the military vehicles, bombs, and other military weapons are. And, knowing them, they're making all that military stuff and giving them to all the other outposts in the world." BF gives a guess on where Updike got taken.
"I see... How they managed to conquer the whole world is beyond me..." Carol thinks about the entire war with Hank against the world.
"Hank planned all of that for years, as far as anyone knows." BF shrugged his shoulders.
"We don't have time to talk about the past. If there's one thing anyone would know about Hank, it is that he's undoubtfully a psychopath." Tabi replied.
"What are you getting at, Tabi?" Whitty asked.
"I'm saying that Hank can't be trusted by anyone on how he runs his operations. If anything, since Hank is a total psychopath, he's likely to be corrupted by the power he has from the victory against all opposition in the military business." Tabi replied, remembering how murderous, brutal, and bloodthirsty Hank is.
"Are you saying what I think you're saying?" Whitty asked, his eyes widened.
"That's right. To save the Earth from total war again, we will go up against Hank and Tankman and defunct their military." BF answers Whitty's question.
"Well, thankfully, I got a militia that Hank and Tankman don't know. And they're the only chance we have against them." Pico smirked in confidence.
Everyone else in the room has their game faces, saying they are willing to go on this journey along with BF. BF responded with a smile.
"Alright, let's do this!" BF yelled in excitement.
Everybody walks out of BF's apartment and prepares themselves for a journey that will push them to their limits.
