Tabi, Ayana, Dalia, Whitty, Carol, and Sunday all walk down Funk City as they have their eyes on the men, women, and children wearing flashy suits and dresses. None of the fighters paid attention to the citizens for long, as they are rich but don't find flashy suits or dresses fitting for them. Tabi would sigh in impatience as he looked at his watch.
"Where the hell are BF and GF? They should've been here right about now." Tabi groaned.
"Why do we want them to be here, exactly?" Sunday asked.
"There's a lot of gang territories around the city. They've been restless with grabbing money ever since the bubble-era started." Ayana replied.
"Of course, there is. Why wouldn't there be gangs desperate for any bill they could get their grubby hands on?" Whitty cracked his knuckles.
"This is true. Some people's greed has risen to levels most people wouldn't normally have." Carol replied.
"That's what the Deadly Sin of Greed can do to people," Dalia replied.
Then, out of perfect timing, some gang members arrive with knives and guns. Tabi, Ayana, Dalia, Whitty, Carol, and Sunday get surrounded by them. Because of being in sudden danger, Tabi instinctively activates his Foresight and his soul's power, resulting in a black aura and his goat skull, the white shine in his eyes, and clothes turning black, with life force oozing out of his body and becoming stronger. Whitty would enter his Ballistic State, while Carol would enter her Angel Form. Sunday, Ayana and Dalia activate their souls' powers, turning void black, with Dalia's Scythe amplified by her life force.
"What's up, fellas? Are you here for our money because we're Mega Rich? Because it's not going to happen." Tabi puts on a confident demeanor.
"Did you have to say all that, Tabi?" Ayana rolled her glowing white eyes.
"These motherfuckers and bitches think they're Gods and Goddesses! Get their money!" The gang leader commanded his goons.
All the gang members charge right at the fighters, who are more than ready to kill all of them.
"I hope that soul power doesn't kill you, Ayana, Dalia, or Sunday," Whitty spoke to Tabi in a distorted voice.
"I'm the most experienced with this power. If there's only one thing I can say is that this power we're using won't kill us. Trust me." Tabi nodded his head to ensure the benefits of their souls' powers to Whitty.
When the gang members got near the fighters, it was gore galore at that point.
Tabi throws a right hook on a thug, severing his head and spinal cord. He also ripped off two thugs' arms simultaneously, making them scream in agony before clapping their skulls into mush at blinding speeds. He then uses One-Inch Punches at blinding speeds while dashing into a massive crowd of thugs, resulting in blood, organs, and bones flying everywhere in the civilian-free area of Funk City. Tabi screams in victory as his black aura flares up.
While knowing martial arts himself, Whitty mainly uses brute force on the thugs attacking him because he is superior to them in physicality and would only use martial arts against someone as strong or stronger as he is. With his massive strength as a bomb humanoid, he splatters the thugs' bodies with non-proper punches and kicks. He isn't all about strength, however, as when he was getting charged at by a horde of thugs, he blitzes them all with his shocking speed, making a bloody mess.
On the other hand, Carol prefers to fight from a distance as she uses her angelic powers to keep herself in the air, even when the thugs try to gun her down. She uses her powers to blast apart the thugs who get too close to her for comfort. And, if needed for a horde surrounding her, Carol can use her angelic powers to surround herself with holy energy and incinerate everything in sight in one titanic blast. But usually, she uses her angelic powers to create and use weapons from a distance.
Dalia uses her massive agility to outrun and outmaneuver the thugs' attacks on her. This method of fighting, combined with Scythe and using her soul's power, makes her an already dangerous foe. She is known to be the fastest of the group present, as she performed swift and clean kills with her on the thugs by decapitating them, slitting their throats or vital arteries, thus making them bleed out in a matter of seconds. She also beatboxes to make her Scythe deal more damage if needed.
Ayana and Sunday use their microphones to use soul power-enhanced voices to perform sonic screams that, while not fatal to Tabi, Whitty, Carrol, or Dalia, would kill normal human beings by making their eardrums explode or their entire skull. But if they need to get close and personal, they also can perform martial arts, albeit quick and efficient ones since they are the least tough out of the group.
While they all fight the seemingly neverending horde of thugs, Tabi, Whitty, Carol, Dalia, Ayana, and Sunday notice some thugs charging at someone or something else. After they killed the last thugs attacking them, they looked at who or what the remaining thugs were charging at. When Tabi got closer, the white shine in his eyes widened as he saw a certain Digidemon slaughtering the remaining horde of thugs with animalistic slashes and pounces.
"Hold on, is that-?!" Dalia yelled before being cut off.
"Yeah! That's AGOTI!" Tabi answered her question quickly as he and the other rush to AGOTI's aid.
But surprisingly, AGOTI killed off the last remaining thugs before exhaling in relief.
"Ayo, Guys and Gals!" AGOTI greeted the group with a wave.
"AGOTI! What are you doing here?" Tabi greeted him with a handshake.
"I was looking for you guys and gals when that loanshark business got defunct. Luckily or unluckily for us, we're all here in this civilian-free area of Funk City." AGOTI replied.
"Why were you looking for us? Is it about Hank and Tankman?" Dalia asked.
"Goddamn, right it is. Before that business got defunct, I heard the loansharks say Hank and Tankman were taking Updike to their HQ in the middle of Antarctica before BF slaughtered them in cold blood." AGOTI replied, revealing the HQ's location.
"Why the hell would they place their HQ in Antarctica? That sounds like a dangerous place to work at." Sunday scratched her head in confusion.
"I'm guessing they wanted to put their HQ in the place that would be the most unlikely to locate. They figured it had to be Antarctica." AGOTI replied.
"Sounds like you're involved in this as we are," Ayana commented.
"Damn right, I am! Who would trust two war psychos to run the military business that sparked the bubble era in the first place?" AGOTI replied, commenting on Hank and Tankman's status.
"Pretty much no one sane. Either way, we might want to get out of here before the government knows what happened here. Carol, you can teleport us out of here like GF, right?" Whitty asked his love interest.
"Yeah, circle around me." Carol nodded her head.
The group circled Carol as she used her angelic powers to teleport herself and everyone away as hordes of police cars and SWAT vehicles were approaching the crime-ridden area of Funk City...
