BF would train in a gravity chamber to make his body more muscular and allow himself to release more life force from his soul. BF was training in the gravity chamber for 10 hours straight, with some doctors and engineers switching places for them to be on break. BF, willing to hit every muscle in his body to achieve a Perfect Men's Physique, was getting paid by the owner of the gravity chamber. BF doesn't break a sweat as his body grows.
Eventually, the gravity returns to normal levels as a physician walks in.
"I supposed everything worked out, BF?" The physician asked.
"Yeah, my body's strength keeps multiplying, and they had to crank up the heavy gravity every five minutes." BF wipes the sweat off his head.
"We noticed. We made sure to take tests on your DNA to ensure your body's capabilities. As it turns out, you are born to fight, BF." The physician replied calmly.
"Your body can withstand 120x that of Earth's gravity. Your growth in power is nothing short of amazement. And the fact you didn't relent even in the slightest bit from the gravity shows how strong-willed you are. At this point, you can release far more of your soul's life force, allowing you to surpass your limits on your body. And I have no doubts you can surpass what you have progressed here." The physician explained BF's progress.
"I wouldn't doubt it either, doc." BF takes a drink of water to hydrate himself.
"So, is my money coming in?" BF asked casually.
"Just a moment, BF." The physician replied, walking over to the door and opening it.
The engineers walk over to BF with 32-inch suitcases. The engineers would give the suitcase to him, allowing BF to look inside at how much money he's gotten. To his surprise, the engineers had filled the suitcases to the brim with $1000 bills. BF admitted to himself he shouldn't be so surprised he'd get so much from participating in a dangerous experiment of heavy gravity.
"$200 million in each suitcase. $400 million, if you want to total the payment we've given you." The physician gives a smile.
"I shouldn't be surprised, considering how big and dangerous this project is." BF chuckled a little bit.
"Well, considering how adaptable your body is, it was pretty much a normal workout for you, albeit a superhumanly long one." The physician nodded his head in agreement.
"It also shouldn't be surprising to know that GF was stronger than you until you reached her level of power from this project." The physician commented on GF's rank in power in comparison to BF.
"Well, thank you for letting me participate, sir. I'll be on my way..." BF would carry the suitcases and walk out of the gravity chamber.
"Thank you for your cooperation, BF. Goodnight..." The physician waved goodbye to BF as the door closed behind him.
BF walks into the lobby of the company that BF temporarily worked with, where he'd meet GF there. GF would float over to BF and hug him gently, not wanting to hurt him if his body was sore.
"So it works?" GF asked a simple question.
"Superhuman bodies increasing in strength during heavy gravity? Yep, it works." BF replied.
"Good, your body looks a lot stronger as well. You aren't a stickman now." GF would blush a little at BF's massive arms.
"Well, you might as well wait until you see me shirtless." BF winked at her smugly.
GF smiled in embarrassment at BF's comment as they walked out of the building.
BF and GF would later meet up with their friends to talk about what kind of jobs they were doing. Tabi, Whitty, Carol, Ayana, Dalia, and Sunday would ask what kind of jobs they were doing. They would be in for a surprise when they knew of BF taking up a temporary job offer to test heavy gravity for 400 million dollars. It was nighttime, and they were eating dinner.
"So, you took up a job that only superhumans are allowed to be in and withstood 120x gravity in only 10 hours, and get paid 400 million dollars... What the hell, BF? You must've been broke for a long time, my dude." Tabi recaps what BF was doing.
"That's entirely correct, Tabi. Even better, I'm on GF's level now." BF refers to being as strong as GF.
"No doubt about that. Even better, since you completed your job without fail, you might get that gravity chamber you worked out in, considering that scientists and engineers can easily make other chambers." Whitty replied.
"Well, no wonder you didn't get our message. You were busy doing other stuff." Carol replied.
"And you're still fresh in the bones..." A calm voice spoke behind BF.
BF, GF, and the others turned to see Garcello and Annie and became wide-eyed at their physiques. Garcello, being a Heavyweight boxer, has muscles on top of his muscles from training so hard every day. The same goes for Annie, who has muscles for days.
"Yo, Garcello, Annie! We just saw your match!" Ayana waved hello to them.
"Ah, we were wondering if you were in the crowd." Annie shook Ayana's hand.
"It must be refreshing to get a break from boxing, huh?" Dalia commented that the Funk City Boxing Association is going on hiatus.
"Yeah, it's about time. We constantly won matches like they never mattered." Annie scratched her head, admittedly.
"Now, if we heard correctly, you were in a test of heavy gravity to get paid $400 million. Have to admit, BF, you got balls of titanium since you went through with it. We may not be gravity training, but we are still superhuman." Garcello smokes a cigarette.
"This is true. We are people that are born to fight, after all." Sunday yawned, stretching her arms and back.
"We still got a month before shit hits the fan, so everybody, make the time you have left to get stronger before we take down Hank and Tankman. We will need to be as stronger than how we are right now." Tabi finishes his meal and walks away with Ayana and Dalia.
"Indeed... Well, see you guys in a month. And hey, Garcello, Annie? It's nice to see you again." BF waved goodbye before walking away.
"Indeed it is to you, BF." Garcello gives a thumbs up.
Everyone else would pay for their meals and walk away from the restaurant.
Dark Angel HQ - Antarctica
At the subzero temperature continent of Antarctica, Updike was working on an unknown weapon that Tankman wanted him to make. Although he doesn't want to admit it, while he lacks the capabilities to fight, he more than makes up for it by having the intellect necessary to create world-destroying weapons. Updike looked at the holographic blueprints of the weapon he's forced to build under the threat of being executed by Hank.
"How's it look, Updike?" Tankman asked cruelly.
"It's almost done... I need more time..." Updike responded calmly.
"Well, you ain't kidding. Alright, I'll leave you to it." Tankman scoffed at him and walked away.
Updike gulps in fear as the weapon nears its completion...
