Part 1 The New King
As the mighty wolf, Fenrir, takes the final blow upon The Allfather, Odin, the beast triumphantly howls. For finally acting his revenge he so long ago promised, he runs away from the scorched land ,that was once a beautiful meadow, to celebrate his long sought victory. The ruler of the Aesir lay upon the scarred battleground wondering when and where his spirit will go and who'll be blessed with it. With that final thought the light dims from his eye and soon his body crumbles to dust and blows away as the sun sinks below the horizon for the final time. Through the cosmos there is a place very much like Midgard but more technologically advanced. On one fateful day in a hospital a baby boy is born, but as soon as the child starts to lament a slight yellow glow radiates off of the boy. The newborn ceases to weep as does the faint glow. The nurse then hands the boy to his mother. "What will you name him Mrs. Midoriya?" the doctor asks. As Inko stares down at the newborn, who has a look of indifference, she softly says " I'll name him Izuku".
When Inko and Midoriya finally arrive home Inko sets Midoriya down to pick up a bottle for him. When Inko turns back around Midoriya is gone. She starts to frantically look for the boy but she looks into the kitchen and sees Midoriya walking over to the fridge trying to open it. Inko quickly sprints over to him and picks him up. After hugging Midoriya for quite awhile Inko questions how Izuku could walk so far after just being born. Inko then drives them both to the quirk doctor to see if he was starting to manifest a quirk. When she is finally called into the doctor's office and sits down the doctor greets her "hello Mrs. Midoriya my name is Dr. Egmann". "Good evening Doctor, I'm here to ask if my son has a quirk". The doctor has a look of confusion because he only sees Mrs. Midoriya with an infant and he couldn't have awakened a quirk already. "Mrs. Midoriya, why do you wonder why your baby has a quirk?" The doctor asks. "Well doctor when I got home I set Izuku down to grab something but when I turned back to him he was gone. I then found him walking over to the fridge trying to open it." Inko answers The doctor is surprised by this and says he'll do a few tests on Midoriya to see if he is manifesting a quirk. The doctor returns to Inko and Midoriya with a file. The doctor sits down and says that baby Izuku will definitely have a quirk in the future. He says that Midoriya's brain is working five times more than an average adults. Inko is very pleased with this outcome because Izuku will be easier to take care of.
Within a year Midoriya is able to talk in advanced sentences and reads many books. For a child his age, when he is four he starts preschool and every teacher there is amazed by his intelligence. One day when Midoriya is finger painting, even though his painting looks as if it should have been in a museum of high quality, a boy with spiky blond hair walks up to him. "What makes you so special?" the boy sneered. Midoriya turns around to look at the boy and says "I myself do not have that information yet but soon I will." The blond responded by spitting in Midoriya's face. "Bakugo how dare you, you are going in timeout!" one of the teachers exclaimed as she dragged the boy away.
On one cold night Midoriya is sleeping but he starts to have a dream that feels all too real. All Midoriya sees is darkness as if he was in an endless pit. When Midoriya turns around a tall figure stands in front of him. The figure has a large cloak around him and a wide brimmed hat. Midoriya then asks "who are and what are we doing here?" The figure looks up so Midoriya can see his face. The man's face looks very old but the most notable feature is that he is missing one of his eyes. "I am Odin, the king of the gods!" the man declared. "It's impossible that the gods exist." Midoriya stated. Odin began to laugh a big thunderous laugh as if Midoriya told a funny joke. When the god finally settled down he said "Well you best start believing in them because you are one." "What do you mean I'm a god, I am just a normal human like everyone else!" Midoriya yelled "Well let me explain to you, young one." "In a land far far away in a time long ago there were nine realms and one of those realms was for the gods it was called Asgard. In that realm I was king of all the gods who called it home, But there was a tale that all nine realms and all who lived in them would be destroyed, that tale was called Ragnarok. When all the gods dissolved their spirit remained and those spirits traveled the cosmos looking for a world to live on in. When the spirits found this world they all split off to look for a new body to live in, and when my spirit arrived here it chose you." Midoriya was in disbelief taking in so much all at once even for a mind such as his he was shocked. "What does that mean then Odin?" Midoriya asked. "It means you will be the new king of the gods." You also might go through situations that I went through as well." "Which also means you'll get my powers and personality too." The god explained. "When will I start to become like you?" Midoriya asked. "You have already become a little bit like me. That's why you have such a great intellect for a four year old!" The old god boasted. As he said that his lower half started to disappear. " *sigh* It seems my time is just about up." The god said grimly. "Izuku when I leave you'll awaken and will never be able to speak with me again, but I'll leave you with this. Place your palm in my hand!" Odin said with haste. Midoriya did as he was told, for he had no real reason to distrust the god. When Odin released his palm he said "You'll now be able to call upon my spear Gungnir. Just hold your arm out with your hand open and yell it's name and it'll appear for your every use." With that Odin faded away and Midoriya awoke in a cold sweat, as he did Midoriya gained a look of determination.
