~ Earlier that day, with Lincoln ~

I had just barely made it to lunch. Liam and Rusty were waiting for me, and waved me over to their table. "Hey 'dere Lincoln! How's about we get on up on how you're doin'?" Liam asked.

As I sat down between the loveable hillbilly, and the tall, ugly ass ginger, I kept my elbows on the table, and held my face up.

"I'm... Well, I guess it could be worse." I muttered out, not feeling any more 'at ease' by my closest friends, than I'd be alone.

"Well now how's about we do sum chitter chat, what's got ya bummed on out?" Liam continued to question.

"Besides the fact that I got to school late, having to walk in this freezing, pneumonia inducing weather, then smelling like a gym nut with milk stains, and getting swirlied in piss, hassled by the substitute teacher, getting rejected and now having to go to the principal's after lunch? I'm pretty decent."

My words seemed to take Liam back a bit. "Hey hey. See bud, you have to charm these chicks, bring some Cologne and if all else fails, be happy you don't get sued for sexual harassment!" Rusty patted me on the back.

Right before I spoke, Clyde sat down, and Zach by his side. "Sorry guys, there was thick line, and my dad's warned me about stampedes." Clyde apologized.

"Well how about that! Well, our lil buddy Lincoln has a parade in a thunderstorm!" Liam explained to the two, and I continued to sigh inside.

Not more of my friends trying to help..I don't need them feeling like failures, when all of this is all for nothing...

"Hey what happened with Paige? The uh, girl from the Games and Grub?" Zach asked. I stopped drinking my milk, and looked at the curious redhead.

"What about her?" I asked, knowing what he meant, but not wanting to bring up more yarn for them, regarding my failure of a lovelife.

After finishing his nuggets, he spoke up. "Well, remember when you said you and your sisters wrote love-letters, and you sent one to Paige? I was just wondering how that, you know... Went?"

Yep, all four of them are looking at me, not getting out of this one, I'm afraid.

"What do you think? Considering I'm still moping around, simping?" I pointed out. Zach defended his answer. "Well, I mean you could be a player, and looking for extra action, the answer isn't completely obvious bro."

Now, I was starting to get upset. "Oh nice, you just assumed I'm a player, thanks Zach." This got him worried.

"Oh no, no, no. I didn't mean to-" he notices I cover my face again, not wanting to talk, or even show my face. Liam called out to me. "Hey now, Lincoln? Y'allright?" I still didn't reply.

"Let me try this, Dr. Lopez taught me a thing or two on this." Clyde instructed, as he walked over to me.

I still didn't look up, even to the "hey, Lincoln, buddy?" coming from my best-friend. I didn't want anything, but to be home. Despite this, Clyde was determined. "Aren't you excited to watch some 'Argghh' with your best-bro later?" He cheered, trying to make me happy.

"I-" was all I could say, as I looked back onto the table, tearing up. "I miss-" I was then interrupted by Clyde. "No negative thoughts! Think positive buddy, soon we'll be watching the newest episode, of the greatest, show, ever!" He then wrapped his around me, as if to give me a hug.

Despite the counseling efforts from the four, I was no better than earlier, as lunch concluded, and I made my way to the principal's office. So Mr. B wants a monster, I'll show him one, that prized trophy student Chandler won't last a second, once I tell them everything.

I made my way to the principal's office, where Cheryl guided me to a seat, awaiting Huggins. "Now you have a seat right here, dumplin', and Mr. Huggins will be right here. Oh! And would you like a cup of water?" Cheryl asked.

"Eh. Why not?" I replied, obligating her to collect a plastic cup, and use a water jug dispenser, and bring me the cup. I took a sip, and laid back in my chair, as I saw Chandler soon walking into the office.

He refused eye-contact with me, and sat down in the seat farthest from me, but Cheryl didn't offer to get him water, not that it mattered, since he didn't bother to get up, and get some himself anyways.

After laying back for a few minutes, Huggins approached me. "Loud, McCann. In my office, now." He demanded, in a stern tone. Whilst I remained anxious, Chandler was unphased by the intimidating principal.

As we both sat down, Huggins looked at me fiercely. "Tobacco products, in our halls of education. Have you no shame, boy?" Huggins chewed out, unaware that tobacco is not normally found in vapes.

"Mr. Huggins, I didn't do any of that! Chandler jumped me before class, and dunked me in the toilet." I blurted out. "Ha, yeah right, everyone knows you like to make up bull- absurd stories." Chandler accused me, and censored himself infront of the principal.

"Aye Mr. H, did you hear about the time Lincoln lied about having bad-luck, just to get out of spending time with his sisters?" Chandler added, before finishing with "that's not all! He even exploited his sister, Lori, just to butter me up so I'd feel sorry for him enough, to invite him to my last birthday party, that he didn't even go to!" he nearly shouted the ending.

As I rolled my eyes, I defended my answer "okay, then explain what Rusty said in class earlier! Mr. Huggins, Rusty Spokes saw the whole thing!"

"Pfft. Obviously your delinquent friend is gonna back you up on your boring lie." Chandler mocked me, doing everything in his power to seem innocent.

"Well, Loud. It does appear you've been slipping up grades badly, yet increasing your bathroom breaks. Perhaps your habit may appear to interfere with it?"

I can't believe what I'm hearing. Oh wait, yes I can. Nobody ever believes me, noooo.

Just then, Cheryl walked in. "Aw, sorry to intrude on overhearing the whole thing, but well, while I overheard, I did a lil looking on McCann's progress reports, and I've noticed Ms. Johnson specified alot of student complaints about little Chandler over here."

Mr. Huggins shuddered a little bit, seeing such a star, shining example of a student carry such a bad reputation is far from calming.

Cheryl herself seemed shocked, as the folder was fine, as she checked this morning, but perhaps Bolhofner submitted the progress reports prematurely, or perhaps Ms. Johnson simply didn't want the secret of Chandler to get out there. Either way; busted.

"22 students have come forth to me, about Chandler McCann's brutish, spiteful demeanor..." Huggins read the first half, aloud, before reading the rest quietly. As Chandler heard this, he began to scrunch up, and looked at me.

I could hear him whisper. "Lincoln, dude. Tell them I didn't do anything, I swear- I swear... I won't mess with you again, ever." Chandler panicked. Unfortunately for him, I simply flipped him off, where Huggins and Cheryl couldn't see.

"Well young man, this is some saddening development. These here turn of events, do not look good on you, at all. And certainly removes your alibi regarding the recent matter, regarding this fellow student." Huggins lectured.

"But sir, this-" Chandler attempted to defend himself, but Huggins quickly stopped him "do not interrupt me, when I am talking." With this being said, Huggins threw the folder onto the table, furiously, and Chandler whimpered with fear.

"It also states that clearly, you referred to a fellow student by a racial slur. And multiple students have both reported overhearing this." At this point, Chandler was toast, but didn't wanna admit it.

"So, what happens now?" Chandler asked, nervously. Huggins turned to face me. "It seems, I have misjudged you, boy, we're not finished yet, however." *turns to face Chandler* "McCann, I am beyond disappointed in you."

This continued to jab at Chandler's confidence, though his only remorse was for being caught, as he'd do what he did again in a heartbeat, if he was guaranteed a getaway.

"I am therefore placing you on a two week In-School-Suspension, with the two Saturdays included." Huggins ordered.

Chandler was now furious; he could care less about being kicked out of school, but being forced to stay in a more strict, extra-long class for two weeks, was a nightmare.

Huggins now faced me. "You're not in trouble, young man. But it is in the best interests to send you home early, regarding the recent assault. Should you require medical attention, please show yourself to the nurse." I was about to jump with joy, hearing this news.

"I understand sir. But, I believe I'll be doing better, once I'm back at home, with my loving family." I pointed out. With that being said, I exited the principal's office, thrilled.

"Do take care, Lincoln!" Cheryl smiled, and I waved to her, as I exited the school. I know, my parents are at work, and Lori is still in class, but I could care less, I'll just walk home, or atleast around Royal Woods for the time being, until Clyde gets home, then we can watch our show together.

My victory, however, was unfortunately shortly lived, as after walking around for two hours, it soon began to thunder. "Oh damn it." I muttered.

I began to try finding shelter, but everything by me, were houses, and the rain began to start pouring, and not the typical rain, these were at strong, ferocious winds, and felt like small shards of glass striking my skin, as the wind pushed me back.

"Sh-shit!" I cry out, as I'm thrown into a ditch, falling back-first into a foot of water, completely drenching me and my backpack, and pushing me down the ditch before I got the upper hand, and got out. I knew this day could get worse.

~ Luna's POV~

The bell rings, and it's now time to leave the class. Throwing my backpack on, I follow closely with my bandmates. "Man, you hear that thunder?" Mazzy gasped.

"Lunes, did you know if it was calling for a thunderstorm?" Sam asked. "Nah dude. But that's winter for ye." I joke out, and we make our way to the parking lot.

Thankfully, it was now calming down, and we were in shelter throughout the worst of the storm.

"Man, Friday rules!" Sully cheered. "Haha, I hear you dude, two days of me torturing my siblings with the jams, and 'teach getting herself a break." I smile. "Hey, Luna I love your jamming!" Sam blushed, which obligated me do the same.

"Well, that's just me! But, I wanna get into some drums and piano, that way I can be a multi-talent, especially in light-of Sully and Mazz doing something stooopid, and we're down a man or two." I sneered, and they both called out "hey!".

"Well, remember the puddle problem, guys!" Sam reminded them, teasing how they both got sent to the nurse from slipping on a puddle, holding the Moon Goats back from a few performances.

"Yeah yeah." Sully playfully complained as he dug in his pockets, for his keys.

I stared at Sam, taken by her beauty. If only I could just snuggle her, run my hand through that beautiful, blonde hair and fall asleep in her arms, life would be perfect.

"Ahaaa! Thought you'd hide from me." Sully cackled, as he pulled the key out of his pocket. Standing behind Sam, who was at the front passenger of the car, and Mazzy stood behind Sully, we all got in the the car, and Sam scootched the seat up a little.

"Geez Sully, did you have Shaq riding in here?" Sam teased how the seat was so far-back.

"My dad is a pretty tall guy, I went to pick him up from work yesterday because mom was doing overtime." Sully explained.

I situated myself, sitting behind Sam. I looked over to my left, to see Sully struggling to put the key in the ignition. "Uh, Sullz? You've gotta- oh nevermind." Mazzy leaned up and tried to correct Sully's incorrect manner of inserting the key.

"You all want the heat o-" Sully tried to announce, only for all three of us to quickly reply "Yes!", referencing the frigid, unforgiving outdoor temperature.

He turned on the heat, and I no longer chattered my teeth after a minute, once it settled. "Man, this traffic..." Sully grumbled. "Haha. Yeah, it gets really bad out here after school, good thing I don't drive!" Sam snickered, which I responded to in a returned chuckle.

"Good to get the crew together, eh?" I called out. "There's nothing I'd rather have, than be here with the MG's!" Sam replied, passionate about being with her Moon Goat crew.

"Maybe Saturday, I'll head up to the mall and get a new amp, been wanting to get into the electric guitar, ya feel?" Mazzy announced. "Hey, drums not cutting it out for you?" Sully asked, as the light turned green and we continued down the road.

"I love the drums, alot. I just wanna explore other instruments, after all, the key to being a musician is exploring the arts 'n talents of the many options." She replied. Sam looked over at Mazzy in the back seat.

"Oh! You could borrow old my amp one day, I don't use it much, but I keep it around as a backup. Ya know, incase something happens to it." She told Mazzy, who seemed thrilled.

"Shoot, thanks bro!" Mazzy smiled. "Hey Lunes, after we get done with some Flippee's, we've gotta get Simon and bring him home after his gamer's club meeting. Then, I'll see if my mom will let me hang with you, I've got a cool hangout spot me and Sy used to hang out at, when we were little." Sam told me.

"You and Simon are close, huh? Just like me and my only bro." I asked her. "Yeah, until you guys, I really never had any friends. But you all are more to me, than any of the friends in the world, I would never trade any of you! Well, except maybe Sully for a new Wii." Sam joked.

"Alright, I'll let that slide! Wii was- I mean, is the shit, especially when I grew up!" Sully reminisced, but then I remembered our old Wii, I barely got to play it, due to the constant fighting over the 11 of us, over whose turn it was. I still never finished one single round of Golf in Wii Sports, Resort.

We soon came around the corner, and Sully parked, noticing the parking lot was empty. "Man, I hope they're not closed." Sully mumbled. "Hey, Sam, can you get my wallet out the glovebox?" he asked, to which she nodded and opened up the glovebox.

She then pulled out the Jimi Hendrix themed wallet, and gave it to Sully. "Okay, but... That wallet is just so sick." Sam threw out a rock-symbol, and Sully nodded with pride.

As we all exited the vehicle, Sully made sure the sign read open before we went any closer. "Phew! Alright dudes, we're set!" He announced, and we all threw up our rock poses. "Woohooo, thank you Food and Fuelllll!" We chanted, as we walked inside.

As we approached the Flippee machine, we didn't notice a little white haired sibling enter the convenience store. "Alright, that's gonna be fifty dollars for the mud and puddles you just brought inside!" We heard Flip announce.

Man, I'd hate to be the guy who just got himself hooked into that trap.

We didn't hear the person who was just yelled at speak, and it wasn't until I felt Sam shake me, and say "Lunes!" in a worrisome manner. I turned around, as I felt her body language indict me to do so, and gasped.

Lincoln was in the store, soaked, hair drenched, shaking, with mud all over his jeans, and his shoes falling apart.

"Linco! Jesus Christ dude, you alright?" Mazzy freaked out, and ran up to check on him. Sam removed her jacket, and handed it to him. "You poor thing! You must be freezing, little buddy." she cried, and I walked up to ask him what he was doing there.

"Just... Got out of school early, stuff with Chandler that I won't get into. I came for a Flippee, but... I won't have enough, now that I just wasted it all on- whatever Flip is demanding."

I pulled out a decent amount of cash to spot him. "Here bro, this is-" I was interrupted by Flip. "And that's an extra 40, we have a sharer's fee." He snickered, trying to lure us back in. Defeated, I put my money back, but then Sam, Mazz and Sully scrapped together their funds.

"There. Now can my brother have his Flippee?" I bitterly spat out. Flip unrolled the money, and just let out a mocking "pleasure doing business with you."

Lincoln felt surprised; by doing this, none of the Moon Goats had enough to buy their own Flippee. But, this is the only place in town to get an icee, and they'd all make their money back soon, but it's still the thought and generosity, that shook Lincoln.

Mazzy walked up to Lincoln, and pinched his cheeks after slightly leaning over. "Aww, you're so adorable in this jacket, little rocker!" She smiled. Lincoln stared blankly at her. "I know, it fits him so well! Okay, not literally but you know what I mean..." Sam added, as the style suited Lincoln, but it was a little too big on him.

"Why did you guys... Buy that Flippee for me? You didn't have enough to get your own. " Lincoln asked. "Ah, don't worry about that buddy." Sully patted Lincoln's head, before finishing up. "Luna is everything to us, and you're everything to her. And you've been feeling icky, so, it was our pleasure."

I smiled at Sully's statement, and it warmed my heart to see my three companions looking out for Lincoln.

"Yeah. I've gotta go, I'm going over to Clyde's to watch some Arghh." Lincoln quietly explained, and as he attempted to walk away, Sam stopped him.

"Woah woah, Lincoln! You can't walk home in this weather, you'll catch your death out here!" Sam explained, noting Lincoln's current condition from being caught in the storm.

"It's fine, I-" he was cut off, by Sully. "Look Lincoln, I have no problem driving you to your friend's crib." Sully explained. "Yeah dude! Does the C-Train have some duds? You're gonna need to shower, and change brah." I asked.

"Yeah." Was all Lincoln said. I wrapped my arms around him, not caring about getting soaked, or muddy. I gave him a quick kiss on the forehead. "I love ya, little bro. We all do."

He looked up, but didn't say anything, before Flip walked outside. "Alright now, you can all get lost! I'm closing shop, and I don't want the cops out this joint again, thinking I have a homeless infestation." He grumbled out.

Sully gave Flip the bird. "Fuck yourself, dude!" he spat out, and Flip returned the bird, as Sully walked with us to the car. Lincoln did not take his eyes off Flip.

"Eh, and the hell are you staring at, little boy? Mommy didn't feed ya enough tonight? You can feel free, to eat out my dumpster." He cackled, before slamming the door shut, and locking it.

This time, Mazzy sat in the front passenger seat, while I sat in the middle, with Lincoln to my left, and Sam to my right. "Yo, little Linko." Mazzy called out, looking into the backseat at Lincoln. "What?" he quietly replied.

"How long- like, how long have you been out here?" she asked.

I myself, wondered the same thing, but was too nervous to ask, fearing the answer. "About three hours, I think." he replied, me and Sam were shocked, and Mazzy froze up.

"In... The storm? You didn't find any shelter?" Sam asked, worried for the little Loud's well-being. "Yeah. Couldn't find any shelter, been walking around for hours, before I finally decided to stop by the Food 'n Fuel." Lincoln replied.

"I see... I'm just glad we caught you in time, dude you could've gotten... Hypothermia, pneumonia... All kinds of stuff..." Sam replied, as she stared at Lincoln with strong senses of worry.

After a small discussion, we pulled up to Clyde's house. "Alright. This is me.. Oh Sam... You want your jacket back?" Lincoln asked.

"No way, it looks way cooler on you!" She smiled, smiling at him. "Thank you all, for everything. I mean it." Lincoln softly replied, before slumping out the car. "Be safe, brah! Love you!" I called out the rolled-down window. Lincoln simply gave a thumbs up.

Instead of scootching back, I remained close to Sam, who didn't seem to pick up on my subtle clinginess. I could smell her sweet, soft shampoo and Cologne, and it felt like I was surfing a wave of warm, fuzzy cuddles, under a cold, full moony night.

We soon arrived at the school, and Simon was at first confused, until Sam rolled down the window. We were facing the right side of the school, so thankfully Sam was able to call out to Simon to enter the vehicle.

Mazzy reached out the window, and gave Simon a high-five. "What's up, Sy-Guy?" she smiled, as I scootched to the left, sitting behind Sully, while Sam was now in the middle.

Sully then cranked up the song, 'Night Fever' by the BeeGees, and we were now relaxed. "It's 5:43 PM, and we are about to rockkkk!" I called out, beginning to to headbang.

"And that sweet city woman, she moves through the liiigght, controlling my mind, and my soul." We all four sung along, with Simon not catching on, due to his lack of experience in the music pool.

After a small ride, we made it to Sam's place. "Alright guys, wait up a second. Hey Lunes, you wanted to hang?" Sam asked. I was confused, and responded "yeah" to her question.

"Alright, walk with me please." She asked, and I followed her and Simon. As she pointed for me to wait by the doorstep, she walked into the house with Simon, after explaining "I'm gonna see if my mom will let me hang out a little later."

In my head, I started overthinking the situation. What if she won't be able to spend time with me? What if, I chicken out and don't make a move? What if... She doesn't- I had to stop myself from reminding of the possibility of her not returning the feelings, as it burned badly just thinking about.

After about 2 or so minutes, she finally walked outside. "So..." She started, and I immediately began fearing the worst, like usual.

"She said I could but aslong as we I get something to eat."

I was now relieved, that weight off my shoulders was gone. "Yeah, totally! We could go to the Burp & Burger!" I said, forgetting I used up all my money at Flip's.

Sam smiled, and we walked to the car. "Alright guys, I'll see you later!" Sam smiled. "See ya later, Sam! We'll be heading down to Gus' to play that new Guitar Hero!" Mazzy nodded, and fistbumped me and Sam, as Sully drove off.

"Alright, follow me!" Sam smiled, as we walked to the forest around the block.

We were soon at this small rocky Hill, almost like a mountain. "Now, we just gotta climb this, and we'll be at the little hangout!" Sam spoke out, with excitement in her voice.

I was not excited. "We have to... Climb that hill?" I said, a throwback to our little scavenger hunt, where I demonstrated my problems with climbing.

"Nooo, we fly up it!" She rolled her eyes, and made a running jump, grappling onto a long, disc-like rock, and pulling herself up the 8 foot hill.

I gulped in fear. "Come onnn Lunes! Don't make me start doing chicken noises!" She teased. "Yeah, thanks mate, make me even more terrified." I shuddered, as I'm also scared of livestock.

With a full burst of confidence, and telling myself if she don't like me after this... I made a quick leap for the rocks, and after nearly slipping, I catch myself from falling, and Sam sticks her hand out to pull me up, which she does so, after a struggle given her lack of strength.

"Phew. If I would've fell, I was gonna bring you down with me, dude." I tell Sam, who giggles. "Oh well! I still would've laughed at you falling on your ass." she poked at me.

Sam lays down, surprisingly the flat, rocky terrain wasn't drenched. I lay down next to her, smiling.

"Man, me successfully rock climbing, who would've thought that would happen in a million years?" I tell Sam. She nods, and turns her head to face me.

"Yeah, life is a mystery. Like- I still haven't found out whose been sending me anonymous love-letters through my locker for the past months." She pointed out, and I almost choke with surprise.

"Yeah, I have no idea who that would be, brah." I smirk. "Yeah, but it's cute, what they wrote. All this time, nobody has ever really spent any... Well, I don't know how to say this without sounding like a total dork- nobody has ever wrote me anything like a love-letter before. I've never been in a relationship... Never done anything close to being romantic, obviously nothing sexual either." She said the 'sexual' part close to a whisper.

I almost spit out laughter, but held it in. "Dang dude. I feel hella bad for how life's been on ya. But, I'm sure there's a really lucky person, just waiting for you to find out whose been hitting on you."

Sam cracked a smile, but turned to face me again. "You know- I have to confess something to you, Lunes..." she said, sharply, no pun on her name.

Oh shitty-shit... Is she... Is this about to be the question? Does she like me...

"I do have a crush on... Somebody... I feel like she's behind the love letters, but she's like, a big deal around here. I think she's totally out of my league." Sam confessed, I was so taken back by her words, I didn't react to her confessing her homosexuality.

Shit, this could be a moment... Tell her you're the one behind the letters, before she redirects to the wrong person, thinking it's them...

"I'm sure anyone would feel like a big deal, if you took them on a date." I meekly spat out, realizing I look like how Sully must've looked when he asked out that poor victim.

"I don't think so- but... After seeing your courage to overcome a fear of yours, which wasss climbing that rock, inspired me to get the courage I need, to make a move...so, I'm gonna text her right now, and tell her how I feel." Sam smiled.

Goddamn it... I felt my hear tear in two, and my chest began to get butterflies. I knew, I should've been more specific...

"I- that's great, Sam... She's gonna be really thrilled to hear that..." I say, trying to sound enthused for her, as she's typing into her phone, hiding the fact my day is now ruined.

However, I soon heard a "bee-boo, bee-bop!", my ringtone, going off. Dumbly, I pull my phone out from my jacket's pocket, and see a text from Sam: "SURPRISE XD"

I then sunk inside, feeling both overjoyed, and stupid on how worked up I got, and turned to face her, now smiling with a twinkle in her eyes.

"How... How did you-" I start to say, before she puts her hand on my shoulder, obligating me to stop talking. "Luna, come on. How many other girls at this school, know me, quote Mick Swagger's love-lyrics, and say 'mate'?"

Okay, I probably wasn't the most subtle.

"Yeah... Hehe... You see, I've had a crush on you since... I guess a few weeks before I sent you that first love-letter. And, all the stuff we've done, the Astonishing Quest, the time we catsitted at the McBride's, when we got our VIP passes to see Mick... Even Monday, when I had the hiccups, I've been wanting to tell you how I felt, but..."

Sam playfully rolled her eyes. "Real subtle, Lunes, you dork. Holding my hand, kissing my cheek, and the many times you hugged me a little too passionately? I've uhmm... Kinda had more pieces to the puzzle, than you'd think." she said, now blushing.

After hearing that, I soon lost control, as I now moved my face closer to Sam, and I noticed her doing the same. With a line of courage on both sides, our lips met, and I was in shock, as Sam grabbed both of my hands, gently as if overcame by nervousness, and we locked both hands.

"Woah... That was the... I never imagined my first kiss, on such a beautiful... Beautiful night..." I smiled, as I looked into her twinkling eyes. "Me too." She smiled, and after I gazed into her beautiful eyes, we soon laid back down.

I made the move, to wrap my arm around her, as we stared into the night sky.

"You know. My dad used to tell me, there's always a bright new star, when somebody dies. And, that all of the souls watch over us, we're never alone." Sam told me.

"That's really poetic, Lucy." I said, teasing her, and she playfully elbowed me.

"I guess, I've always thought how calming the night sky is, maybe what you said- your dad said, about the nightsky? Maybe, that sense of calmness is from late relatives, watching over us." I say, enjoying the moment.

Suddenly, a raindrop lands on me. "Oh man... Please don't tell me-" I was cut off by Sam, who finished my sentence "it's raining, ah crap man." we then both raced to get home, before it was too late.

~a few minutes later, it was pouring, and Flip's F&F was now being beaten by the storm.~

Flip was watching Family Guy on the TV, in his home-office inside the store, when the power cut out. "Gawd damnit! The storm must've knocked out the generator." he grumbled. With a pull of energy, he crawled out of his warm, fuzzy bed, with his pet raccoon Nacho sound asleep at his feet.

It was pouring, one of the biggest storms the town had seen in years. Thunder boomed across the town of Royal Woods, and wind rattled the convenience store badly.

He then grabbed his raincoat, flashlight and 12-gauge shotgun, before using the light to navigate to the exit of the store.

"Or maybe it's just those bratty little rockers from earlier, coming to fuck with me. *looks at the windows* eh, maybe I should have gone with the bulletproof glass, but it'll hold."

Flip then, with one deep breath, ran outside into the dark, rain-pouring night sky. "Damn, damn, where's that generator?!" He griped, before finding it buried under cardboard boxes.

Sitting his shotgun against the brick wall, he used the flashlight as he inspected the generator. "Where's the goddamn-" he was then interrupted, by a sudden whack across the back of his skull.

Falling to the ground, he was now face-first into a puddle in the pavement, vision blurry and trying to process what just hit him. After a few seconds, he saw a masked figure, wearing all black, and a ski-mask, with a hoodie up, and black circles painted around the eyes.

"You... Goddamn..." Flip grumbled, reaching for his shotgun, now on the ground. The figure kicked the shotgun over to Flip, who struggled, but managed to grab the shotgun "GO TO... HELL!" Flip shouted, firing the shotgun at the figure, to no avail.

The figure had taken out the magazine and emptied the gun while Flip was down, wanting to toy with the man, into thinking he had a chance, before bringing the crowbar down on Flip's neck, shattering his vertebrae and paralyzing him, before beating him down even further, with 7 more whacks.

After that, Flip was barely able to process what was happening, but was completely paralyzed, and unable to move.

The figure then, after tossing the crowbar into the air and catching it, gently put it aside, reaching for a large, kitchen knife, and jamming the knife into Flip's stomach multiple times, causing Flip to quickly gargle out blood, and then the figure resonded by pushing his head up, before jamming the knife straight down into the man's left eye-socket, then yanking it away from the head, tearing a massive gash through the man's skull, killing Flip, the notorious conartist-shopkeeper.

Woohoo, that's it for this chapter. :) Yeah, if you thought this was thrilling, don't go anywhere, because we're just getting started.
