The Announcement
Upon declaring their engagement, the word had already spread like wildfire throughout the corridors of Hell. Eventually, the word continued to spread until it reached Heaven. Where the Angel of Messages (gossip), Gabriel, awaited to deliver the news to her eldest brother/new God, Amenadiel.
When he first heard of Lucifer and Chloe's engagement and their plans to get married in Heaven, Amenadiel was more than overjoyed. To show his excitement, he took it upon himself to tell the others who were already in Heaven too.
Between the events of Lucifer's departure and Chloe's passing, their friends had also lived their lives to the fullest and like Chloe; they wouldn't have changed a thing either.
For example, once Dr Linda Martin was able to fix the first draft of her novel about her time with Lucifer, Linda eventually published it and it became a best-seller within the first week of it's release. There were even plans to make a film about it.
Dan Espinoza and Charlotte Richards continue to spend a joyful eternity together.
Mazikeen and her wife Eve continued as crime-fighting bounty-hunters until their legacy was passed down to their adoptive daughter Lucinda Beatrice Smith. And thanks to the love she had for both her wife and child, Maze became the very first demon with a grown soul, to ascend up to Heaven!
Ella Lopez became a positive role model to all of the girls (And eventually boys) who applied to the STEM program Lucifer created for her while maintaining her job as a forensics scientist and her relationship with her husband, Carol Corbett. Yes, Ella was finally in the loving relationship she deserved with Carol and together, they became the proud parents of three boys and a girl. They even named their first son Daniel after their dear friend. Moreover, her children inspired Ella to finish her book about the forensic scientist who talks to ghosts and it eventually became a popular book series for children.
Once Amenadiel told them about the engagement, they were just as overjoyed as he was. Because everyone's 'DeckerStar' dreams were finally about to come true. However, there was still the matter of informing those who are still remaining on Earth.
Speaking of… Back on earth in the early-to-mid 2070s…
Linda and Amenadiel's son Charlie remained on Earth where he found his own true calling. He wanted to do good and help people the way his father, his uncles Lucifer and Dan and aunt Chloe did by becoming a police officer. By the time Chloe retired from the force, Charlie was being promoted to Detective! Thanks to his mentor… Sargent Sonya Harris.
Chloe and Dan's daughter Trixie never became the first president of mars, but she did become the next best thing. A commander for the International Space Station! She even made a little family of her own. She's happily married with two kids.
As for Chloe and Lucifer's daughter Rory, after forgiving her parents and understanding the truth behind her father's disappearance and her mother's secrets, Rory's was filled with a great sense of clarity and love. And now, even as an adult and with or without either of her parents on earth, Rory had a real chance to fully reconnect with them. Especially when she promised to make a date to seen them again.
However, that wouldn't be happening for a while because Rory needed to stay for Trixie. While the actual amount of time that has already passed in Hell is currently unknown, it had only been six months and eleven days since Trixie and Rory's mother passed away and it had been quite the struggle for Trixie.
Even though she grew up proud of the life her mother lived and grateful she died an old lady surrounded by pictures that showed how beautifully she lived it, it still hurt by the memory of what her mother had to endure. Raising two girls alone because their loving fathers couldn't be there for them, balancing motherhood and an important job in the police force, not mention, raising a half-angel baby who would grow up thinking her own father didn't love her enough to stay.
By time Rory's wings started showing, Trixie was a teenager and she had finally discovered the truth! She came home from school one day and walked in on her mother teaching young Rory how to fly! After many, many talks with her mother and Linda, Trixie eventually adapted to being involved with the celestial world. She was also grateful when she learned that her father was in Heaven and super proud of her.
Anyway, back in the present, Trixie, Rory and Charlie were at the cemetery, laying down flowers for their mother's graves when they suddenly received a surprise visit from Amenadiel. When he told them about the engagement… they were delighted because they knew Lucifer and Chloe earned the special day they never got on earth. However, when told the wedding would take place in Heaven, Charlie and Rory grew concerned for Trixie. Luckily, Amenadiel found a loop-hoop for her.
