(Unknown P.O.V.)

"Ugh" I groaned sitting up from the cold floor, massaging my sore shoulders I leaned to the wall near me. I closed my eyes and waited for the pain to diminish, 'It is really cold' I thought as I fell the coldness of the wall from my bare back. "Wait" I said to myself, "I'm alive?" I muttered unbelievably, I checked myself and it is true, I am alive, with no injuries at all, well except my sore shoulders. I'm also wearing some sort of pants, which is visibly ruined, I don't have anything on my upper body and I also don't have any footwear. "B-but how?!" I asked myself, the last thing I remember is that I'm dying from cancer, and my sister's crying face. Now I'm somehow alive and in a place that is very unfamiliar. Checking my surroundings, I noticed that I'm in some sort of a jail, and there are 3 things not far from me. Mustering some strength to crawl near the objects, I feel my shoulders aching badly, enduring the pain from my shoulders I crawl to the objects and saw that the objects are a book, a key, and a note which is smeared with what I assume is blood, because of it's color. Looking at each object I noticed some distinguish features of each object. The book is colored dark red with a image of a gaming controller in black, the key on the other hand is grey with a tag attached to it where "B3" is written on it, lastly the note which is smeared to what I assume is blood, the note itself is color yellow with a word written on it, said word is colored as same as the color smeared to the note, so I'm assuming that it is written using blood.

I feel a bit spooked by the knowledge that there is a possibility that the note in front of me is written using blood. I moved back to sit on the floor, leaning to the wall. I gathered my thoughts, and came to the conclusion that I'm either in hell and this is some sort of punishment, or that I'm somehow revived or resurrected in a place where death is probably a common thing or happening. I came to the second conclusion because of the fact that the note is written by blood, I mean why write a note using blood when you can just use an ink right? I'm pulled out of my thoughts when I heard footsteps coming near my jail. The first thing that came to my mind is rush near the jail bars and to talk to the person or creature coming near my jail to ask questions about my whereabouts and why I am here, but I forced myself to not do that. If death is common in this place, then talking to strangers unarmed and in this condition will be close to suicide. I then thought that if I can somehow talk to the person or creature without showing myself then maybe I can gain information safely. But all hopes of possibility getting information from the "creature" is gone when I saw "it". It is as tall as an average human, wearing a chain mail and leather pants, it is holding a map and a torch, there is also a sword strapped to it's belt. It can be considered human, if not for the fact that it is furry, and have a head of a rat. I gasp quietly, not wanting the creature to notice me, 'A humanoid rat!?' I thought to myself shocked and disbelieving. If such a creature exists then I'm no longer in Earth! Which means that my second conclusion about my current predicament is correct! I'm pulled out of my thoughts when I notice that the humanoid rat stopped near my jail. "Damn it, just where the hell is that amulet!!" to my surprise it yelled clearly angry and frustrated. 'So these creatures are capable of speech and I understand it, which means that they are using the English language' I concluded. 'And these creature is apparently searching for some amulet?' I thought to myself. I suddenly hear a screech, the humanoid rat looks like it heard the screech too, I then saw the humanoid rat look in front of him with a horrified look. "A-a Banshee!!" it yelled clearly scared, "But I'm just in the 2nd Floor!" it now yelled angrily. The next thing I saw is that the humanoid rat is down with a creature which looks like a human woman, except that this creature have no feet and is just floating above the downed humanoid rat with it's hand choking the humanoid rat. It then screeched loudly, I closed my eyes and covered my ears as the Banshee's screech is so loud. The loud screeching suddenly stopped, I opened my eyes to see what happened. I found the Banshee now fading, as a sword is protruding from it's crest to it's back, which is courtesy of the humanoid rat. As the Banshee fades an item suddenly dropped down from out of nowhere, it is an amulet, that is probably the amulet that the humanoid rat is searching for in the first place. Looking at the humanoid rat I found it dead, it died because of a gash in it's neck. I concluded that while it killed the Banshee, it also recieved a fatal strike. As the last signs of life fades away fro the humanoid rat, I cautiously and slowly walked towards the jail bars, checked the surroundings as much as I can and concluded that it's safe, for now. I searched the jail to find if there's someway for me to open it, I found a lock with a tag on it, reading the tag, I found "B3" written on it. Realizing that the key in the floor is the key to this lock I quickly picked up the key. But before I can open the lock, a thought stopped me, 'Why does the key to this jail is in here?' I pondered about the thought but came short, I just don't have any idea why. I then remembered the book and the note, picking up said objects, I read the note aloud "Survive".

I felt a sudden feeling of dread and fear as I read the note. It says "Survive", then, who ever revived me and put me in this place, they are expecting me to survive!? But how? I don't have any experience in combat, heck I don't even know how to properly or correctly throw a punch! and without any gear to use too! As my current self, right now my chances of survival is low, really really low, probably a 1/100 if I'm lucky, and probably a 1/10,000 at worst! Feeling anger and hopeless, I cursed, realizing that even if somebody revived me, they just put me in a place to die all over again! This time I maybe experience a horrible death! I took a few minutes to calm myself down, when I finally calmed down, I started to think logically, if somebody really revived me, then they won't just let me die without a chance of surviving. I mean, why do an effort to revive somebody if you're just going to let them die? Well, unless they want me to suffer or that reviving me isn't actually an effort. So did they revive me to amuse themselves watching me die again? But if they're powerful enough to revive somebody, and they want some form of entertainment, why just let me die? Why wouldn't they give me some sort of ability to at least survive and defend myself? Specially cause they left a note for me, telling me to survive? I then paused, and looked at the book. I blinked, and asked aloud, "Is this it?" looking at the book I thought that it can't be a coincidence that this book is with the note and the key left by one who revived me. It is also impossible for me to be "isekaid" like those characters I've read in the past, as I'm sure that I'm still myself like when I died, I'm still Tetsuya Kazama, and my body is just how it have always been, still have the "average" body as my sister always called it. I still my usual 5'7 height. 'So I'm revived as myself in a new world?' I thought hesitantly, 'And this is all I have to survive?' If one would look at me right now, they'd probably see a teen looking at a book incredulously. I sighed, no matter what it is all I have, the one who revived me would expect me to beat the creatures here to death using a book didn't they? Opening the book caused a blinding light to be released, which caused me to drop it and the note, the key is still in my hand as I managed to catch it before it fell down to the floor. I the stiffened as I feel that something changed in my surroundings, I checked inside the jail and saw nothing out of normal or different, but once I look outside I froze in shock as I saw the smoke coming from the torch to stop flickering to the air, 'T-the time stopped!?' I thought still shocked. I composed myself and picked up the note, I placed it in my pocket to not lose it. I figured that I should keep it as a momento for having a new life. I then picked up the book, and read, "Welcome Gamer".

(Tetsuya's P.O.V.)

My mind stopped as I read, Gamer, as in "The Gamer" I've read a lot of fiction stories regarding it, to put it simply, it is a title or ability that allows a person to live his/her life as a game. 'So this means that I AM A GAMER!!!' I couldn't stop the smirk to appear in my face, as theoretically, I can be so powerful with these ability! So I'm correct! Whoever revived me wants an entertainment, as he revived me in this world with a ability, title, or a tool that I can use to become powerful! Calming down I turned the page of the book.

By opening the book you are now "The Gamer"*

I feel a sudden calmness and I feel myself become instantly stronger. So it is true, I am the Gamer. As the effects of Gamer's Mind took effect, I started to be calm and composed thinking things calmly and logically. First I'll analyse each skill to have a better grasp for each of them. So by having a bed and sleeping in said bed, I will be healed completely huh?, that means I just need to keep a bed in my inventory, and it said bed, so does that mean that even bed of other people? That's something to experiment when I have a chance. Immunity to Status regarding the mind is incredible, I will never have to worry about getting mind controlled or hypnotized, the fact that I will also be informed if somebody tries to mess with my mind is great. Complete Analysis gives a complete information about the target, this skill is going to be certainly useful for many occasions. Tracing, like the description said is the ability of Shirou Emiya to conjure weapons, it does have a great potential, but without Unlimited Blade Works, I'm not sue on how effective it would be.

Pumba, by far, is my best skill, specially becuase it is a passive skill, just look at the effects of the skill. By Tracing a Weapon, I will instantly gain a mastery skill for said weapon and another skill regarding the weapon, that will be instantly maxed out! Just imagine the potential of it is so awesome. Lady Luck's Child Perk is also incredible, as it gives bonus stat points, and increases the loot drops chance of having better quality and quantity. Lady Killer Perk on the other hand is a blessing! Admittedly, I'm not so good with the ladies in the past, so by having this skill, I may just have the chance to reticify that! Though the use of said perk in my current predicament is quite questionable. Inhuman Immunity, is downright a lifesaver, it gives immunity to common status e.i. poison, and it also gives me immunity to diseases such as cancer. I'll be honest, I'm relieved to know that I will never have cancer again, that and the fact that smoking wouldn't have a drawback now. Nicotine Addiction Flaw isn't a surprise, really it isn't, I died becauseof lung cancer caused by smoking, and even in this new life of mine, I can tell that I still crave for smoke. Lustful Flaw? Seriously? if I didn't know better I'd say that perks and flaws are picked by some perverted voyeur, it's a surprise though, as I'm not really lustful in the past. Lastly, I can see why Selfish is a Flaw, as it will probably mess with my decision making regarding other people.

Now to the next page.

Introduction:

Welcome Gamer, you are the one that is picked to be the Gamer out of 1,564,897 other candidates so you should be happy!

Anyway, you may or you may not know what a Gamer is, a Gamer is somebody who lives his/her life as a game, they have the potential to become very powerful or to even become a God. If you know what a Gamer is, then you probably have an idea of what to do, and if you don't then you will have a bit of a hard time figuring things out. First and foremost, this is not your usual Gamer System. There are many other Gamers out to their own multiverse with each different Gamer System, so you should read and understand everything properly.

Most Important Knowledge:

This Gamer System, while might appear very powerful is nerfed, badly. But, these Gamer System also have removed some limits that the original or other Gamer System has.

Notes:

1. You can no longer train for base stats, but you can now gain exp by training.

2. I.D. Create and Escape is gone.

3. Natural Dungeons, when cleared, will never reset, meaning that you can not grind on a dungeon

4. You can only increase base stats such as STR by using stat points, Stat Crystals, and by having passive skills, and Perks, you can also recieve base stats as reward.

5. Production Classes is gone.

6. There are no more Sub Classes, but in exchange, once a Class is maxed, you will gain access to Skill Creation regarding said class, it is same for the other Classes.

7. There is no limit to skills you can learn and use. For example, if you got the skill book for Create Undead, but you are a Warrior Class and Mage Class is still not maxed, then you can still learn and use Create Undead.

8. You will have a limited Inventory, an Inventory with a size of 10 boxes not including the equipment section. But, each box is categorized accordingly and can be used to store a limit of 1000 item per box, meaning that the limit of your inventory is 10,000 items. This Inventory also ignore size, weight, and properties.

9.Your starting world isn't an anime world, but a game world, it is a world that is based on Pixel Dungeon and Heroism, yes that's right, dungeon crawling.

10. It is possible to World Jump, but, you will need to complete certain tasks regarding the world first. You can only take a maximum of 3 Companions when doing World Jump, not including Familiars as they are considered as a part of you. At the moment; you can only do a World Jump once you clear or finish this world or to be precise, this game. A little spoiler for you, There a total of 10 Bosses, and another Supreme Boss which guards the Amulet of Yendor, this amulet contains the power to World Jump. Each Boss monster have 5 Mini Bosses, which means a total of 50 Mini Bosses. A Boss can be found each 10 Floors, Mini Bosses can be found at Random on each Floors before the boss, it is guaranteed that there will be only one Mini Boss on a Floor. If you ever defeat the 10th Boss, you will need to climb another 25 Floors to reach the Supreme Boss, each Floor then will have a Mini Boss.

11. Items can now only be acquired as lot drops. Except Materials and Consumables which can be bought on the Item Shop Screen.

12. You can buy Perks by using Perk Points in the Perk Shop Screen, Perks that can be bought are randomized every week. Perk Points can be acquired as loot or reward.

That are the important notes Gamer. To access your Status Screen, simply say or think Status. Same for your Inventory, Skills, Quests, Reputation and Affection, Item Shop, and Perk Shop Screen. That's all I hope you live your new life successfully. Enjoy Gaming, Happy Gaming, And Merry Dungeon Crawling! *

I am shocked, to be honest. While it is said that the system is nerfed, I can certainly see the benefits, and the possible loopholes that I can use. But what really upsetted me is that there will be no I.D. Create/Escape which is very essential to a Gamer, that and the fact that base stats can't ba gained in training, it's a good thing though that exp can be gained by training, otherwise it will be really hard to improve myself or grind. Also Production Classes are gone, but that's fine, I can already think of a loophole that will make production much easier with this system. The fact that there won't be sub classes don't bother me even for a bit, why? because of, SKILL CREATION!! it appears that it doesn't have a limit! So the potential of it is very high! Moving on, the fact that my starting world is based on my two favourite games? I'm ecstatic, at the same time scared, because of this place is really like in the Pixel Dungeon, then traps and other dangers are there. The Amulet of Yendor as the World Jump Catalyst is fine, the amount of bosses on the other hand is insane! A total of 86 Bosses including the Mini Bosses! Lastly, the Perk Shop is intriguing and interesting, as it is random.

Yes that's correct. Now to turn the page.

As you know dungeon crawling is dangerous, that's why this book is given to you, it can be used as a Hidden Room, yes that's right, a Hidden Room. Just place the book near a wall, then open the book and say "Room" aloud and the book will disappear in a flash of light, replacing the book to where it is placed is a door, a door to the Hidden Room or to be precise the Gamer's Room, it is furnished with a comfortable bed, a empty book shelf, a desk and chair, a computer in the desk, and a shower. You can research for knowledge about your current book using the computer. The door to this Room is indestructible, and can only be opened by you. You can also use this book as a journal of sorts to "save" your progress, that means that if you ever died in this world you will be revived into your bed in the Gamer's Room, this feature is exclusive to this world only. Once you World Jump, you will only have 3 lives per world. To "save" your progress simply say "Save" if you ever find a yourself in a tight spot, you can also "load" yourself without penalties, you can do this thrice a week. Dying reduces some skill levels, your level, and you might even lose a skill of you die. If the skill is maxed on the other hand. Even if you die, you will never lose it, unless you want it to. Whenever you enter the Gamer's Room time outside the room will freeze or stop, giving you a chance to repucurate without consequences, it cannot be used in combat though. This is the last note for now. New notes wil be available as you make progress on this world. This book will shine a bright color of red whenever a new note is available. The moment you close this book, the time will then continue to flow. There is no time limit for completing this world, so take your time, improve yourself, and enjoy your new life.*

This is enlightening, it had shed some worries that I have, so this means that I'm basically an immortal in this world, I can't stop a chuckle that came from me because of this thought. Save and Load Feature huh? Neat. And a personal indestructible room that you can carry any where? Yes please. Closing the book, I can feel that the time, now continues to flow. I looked at the sword in the humanoid rat's hand, I used Complete Analysis on it.

Iron Sword

DUR:34/50

DMG: 50-75

(Holy Enchantment)

25 holy damage

50 bonus damage to undead and demons

(Conceal Enchantment)

Conceals the user from beings not attuned to magic

Conceals the weapons' enchantments

I raised at brow at the description it gave, I'm impressed, yes it is an average iron sword, but its enchantments made it a formidable weapon. "Trace On" I said smirking, because it feels really cool for me to say that, a copy of the sword appears in my hand from motes of blue light, it seems that Tracing also improves the weapon? Oh wait, no, it is the Pumba that improves the weapons qualities.

I swung the sword and to my surprise the effects of Pumba quickly took effect.

Skills Gained:

Sword Mastery - Passive (25 - 0%)

Your mastery on wielding any kind of sword

50 Damage when using a sword

25 to all physical stats when using a sword

Shunpo Slash - Active (Max)

Costs: 500

Blinks to the target and slashes at their weak spot, leaving a after image of the user to the user's previous spot

After Image takes attention of all enemies in 500 meter radius

Max Distance: 2 kilometres

6000 Damage

Always Critical

By using Elemental Swords, further effects can be added

By obtaining an advanced form of skill you gained the it's basic form

Shunpo - Active (Max)

Costs: 150 MP

The user blinks to a place leaving an After Image that takes the attention of enemies

in 250 meter radius

Max distance: 5 km

Precise Slash - Active (Max)

Costs: 300 MP

The user slashes at the foe's weak spot which always results into a critical hit

1200 Damage

My jaw fell because of these, thanks to Pumba, by just swinging a sword, I got 3 maxed out skills. Shunpo Slash is something I cannot perform right now as it takes too much MP, but it is certainly a boss killing skill, heck, I may even one hit the first boss! And I got a movement/teleportation skill with the Shunpo, as it says that the user can blink in 5 kilometres, meaning that anywhere in 5 kilometres, at first I thought that it is the same Shunpo like the Shunpo in {Bleach}, but I'm really wrong. Lastly, Precise Slash, god damn, a guaranteed critical hit, with 1200 damage? I'm guessing that this is enough to kill a Mini Boss.

Moving on I opened the jail and walked toward the fallen creature, I stopped to check my surroundings and all I saw are empty jails similar to mine, at my right I can see an intersection of 3 corridors, at my left there is a door 200 meters from my position, I used the creature, a Evolved Rat according to the memories from the sword by using Complete Analysis is named H'lak, he did manage to find what he is searching for, unfortunately it costed his life. I picked up the sword and stored it to my inventory, so is the map, torch, chain mail, and amulet. I left the leather pants as it is damaged and it smells. I used Complete Analysis onto the amulet and I'm surprised and pleased at what I found.

Amulet of Mana Control

DUR: 176/200

Let's the user to have improved control into his/her mana

-50% mana cost for using spells

50% mana regen

I equipped the amulet, as it gives great buffs, with this, i can now use Shunpo, and it will certainly be useful. Testing the skill I felt the drain to my reserves as I use Shunpo to go back inside my jail, it felt really natural, like I've been using the skill for a long time, probably because it's maxed. Pumba: Gamer's Edition is such a cheat. I locked the jail and brought out the book. I then opened it and placed it near the wall, "Room" I spoke and in a flash of light the book is gone, and in its place is a transparent door, although I can see it clearly, probably another mechanism of the door to make it even more secure, I entered the room, and I was gobsmacked as the room is more than i can ever dream of or hope to acquire on my past life, a king-sized very comfortable looking bed, a well made Acacia book shelf, although right now there are no books in it, a high tech computer in a Acacia Desk, matched with a cosy looking Acacia chair, to my left near the door is another door, which I believe that leads into the shower, I entered, and just as I thought, it is the shower, a lavish shower with a porcelain bath tub and sink. I am certainly not expecting this room to be like this, I'm actually expecting it to be like my room in my past life, but I'm absolutely wrong. I then stripped down my tattered pants and went to shower. I blissfully enjoyed the hot shower, I have never had the luxury of having a hot shower before, so I admit that I got a bit carried away. Once I'm done I dried myself up using a towel in the shower rack, I then proceed to flop down the bed.Ah, yeah, dungeon crawling and levelling up can wait, right now I have a wonderful bed to enjoy sleeping to. The events to day have really left me tired, as I slowly drift away to unconsciousness, the last thought that came to my mind is that my beloved sister would certainly love to enjoy these kind of luxuries, if I do have the choice, I will certainly bring her here.
