Chapter 35
Kate and Russell were boarding their flight to Fisher. The plan was to pick up a hired ute in Fisher and then drive out to Gungellan. They would stay the night at the pub and then have Kate's appointment in the morning at the Gungellan Pediatrics and Obstetrics clinic. After that, they would drive out to the Old Kinsella's property, do an initial driving tour, and then camp on the land at Kinsella's. They had brought sleeping bags and camping necessities with them. Neither of them were afraid of roughing it a bit.
"I'm really excited to get to Gungellan, but I'm still concerned about your camping plan. It's trespassing. Why don't we just stay with Stevie at Killarney? She has the space and it's right next door to where we need to be. Plus, she can lend us horses or dirt bikes. It'll make touring the land a lot easier," Russell said.
"But I don't want any of the gang to know I'm here yet. I want to do my big surprise," said Kate.
"Okay, I'll go along with it, but I want it formally acknowledged that I expressed concern over this little plan of yours," teased Russell.
"Your concern has been officially acknowledged," Kate joked back.
The announcer at the airport called for boarding on their flight to Fisher and Kate and Russell picked up their things and boarded the flight.
