The Shinigami of the Shinto

Okay. For those that want to know about Ichigo's harem, well you will have to wait until maybe the 6th chapter, but I will say that it's split evenly, and Rukia isn't one of them. I'm a huge fan of the RenRuki relationship, and not a fan of IchiRuki, so I apologize.

Kyoto

Urahara was standing in front of a forest that had a dirt stairway up into it, and a red arch standing there as an entrance. He wasn't alone, beside him was his group, Ichigo's group, and his father, and in one of their hands was a glowing katana.

Kisuke already knew how this upcoming meeting would go, but for the reason of returning Ichigo his power, he would not stop at anything. He owned the boy so much and now was the time. So that is why he convinced the Gotei 13, to break their laws, and how he made the spiritual sword.

So with a sigh, Kisuke Urahara stepped past the arch, and immediately everything changed. Where there was once a dirt stairway, there is now a stone one in its place. The sun was larger and bright than the one of the places he just left, and last but not least the people… for all of them had fox ears and tails.

But the hat-and-clogged man ignored it and made his way up the stairway, as the people following him gawked at the sight around them. Urahara noticed the looks he and his group were getting but like he did when he entered he ignored it and continued making his way to his destination.

And within about five minutes he reached it, a large shrine that had red walls, and black roofs, and guarding the door Urahara was walking towards were two large guards, and within seconds the two immediately noticed him, and one yelled out. "Halt!" Kisuke didn't stop. "Stop! If you take another step forward you will find yourself fighting the two of us!"

But still, Kisuke didn't stop and the two guards transformed into large humanoid animals. They both changed towards the lone man as his followers just stood wide eyes behind him. But before they could get real hits in, a voice yelled out.

"What is going on here!" Everyone looked towards the voice and found a beautiful woman standing there. She had long blonde hair, that is tied into a loose ponytail, and golden-yellow eyes. She had yellow fox ears, and for tails, they were the same, but there were nine of them, all swaying in the air. She was wearing a red traditional shrine maiden outfit.

The two guards immediately reacted to her voice and transformed back into their human form, bowed, and one of them spoke. "Yasaka-hime. This man is an intruder. We asked him to stop he didn't."

The woman looked to Kisuke and sighed. "You fools. If he was an intruder you all would have been dead long before you would speak a word." She looked back to the clogged man and said. "What can I help with you this time Kisuke Urahara. You know my lady won't be happy to hear that you are here."

Kisuke nodded and took out his fan, and covered the lower part of his face. "Why I came here to see your lovely face, Yasaka-hime." The woman seemed unfazed, and Kisuke was pretty sure he could hear a cricket. After a few seconds, Kisuke took the fan away from his face and answered seriously. "I've come here because I want the return of one Ichigo Kurosaki, who was taken to your lady in Takamagahara."

Urahara watched as the woman closed her eyes, and when they opened he watched as the woman slowly started to laugh. "Oh, that's hilarious. You think my lady will return her son to you. All of whom abandoned him when he needed you the home." She took her away from the hat-and-clogged man and towards the group behind him. "Not one of you tried to think that he might need someone during his time as a mere human."

The looks of guilt grew on their faces, and the one who spoke was the Shinigami Lieutenant. "We were ordered to stay away from Ichigo, to allow him to get over his loss of powers."

"Then don't listen to the order!" The Princess responded, making everyone close by flinch. "Are your orders more important than a friend who needed someone?" The silence was the response, but Yasaka continued. "Ichigo might not blame you all and might forgive you. But Amaterasu and I won't."

Kisuke seethed as he heard what the princess said, but even if it was true, he won't stop giving Ichigo his power back. So with a little shame and determination, Kisuke went down to his knees, and placed his forehead onto the ground, making everyone look at him with wide eyes. "Please at least let me speak to Amaterasu-sama and Ichigo."

He heard a sigh from the princess, and then he footsteps. "I'll let her know that you want to talk, but I can't promise anything. Now stop begging and follow. Also, only one of those that follow you can come with you."

Urahara got up and looked back to the group that was following him. "Kurosaki take the others back to the van." He told the man and then looked over to the person who was holding the weapon made for returning Ichigo's power. "Kuchiki you will be coming with me."

Both named people flinched when he called them by their family names. But both nodded and went their ways. Kisuke looked back to where the princess went and made his way in that direction, and Rukia followed.

The way to the room was quiet as the two walked. Kisuke seething in anger at everything that had happened. He knew that was a stupid decision the Captain-Commander made, and he didn't try to stop him. Now he might never be able to repay Ichigo for everything he did.

Kisuke was taken from his thoughts when he found himself standing in front of a sliding door that had a sun on it. Kisuke looked back to the short lieutenant. "When we enter you will not say a word, you will leave all the talking to me and me only." The girl nodded, he then looked to the blade in her hand. "Also if I know what Amaterasu-sama will be saying then I will be the only one that will be allowed to see Ichigo. So I'll be taking that for now."

Kisuke held out his hand and watched as the girl hesitantly gave him the glowing weapon, and immediately he brought it to his side, and slowly opened the door. When he looked into it he looked to see the princess sitting on the throne, with her eyes closed.

"You may both come in Amaterasu-sama has agreed to talk." The youkai said as she opened her eyes, and instead of the golden-yellow eyes she had, they had a mixture of orange in them.

Kisuke and Rukia entered the room and kneeled in front of the throne, Rukia slightly behind the man, and they watched as the princess closed her eyes. Then they watched as the princess's body started to float and as it started to glow. When Yasaka opened her eyes, they found them completely orange.

"Kisuke Urahara! I thought I told you never to come here again!" When the youkai spoke it was followed by an echo. Kisuke looked down to the floor, and went to speak but was interrupted by the echoing voice. "I don't want to hear your excuses Kisuke Urahara. I also know why you are here. And I will only say this once."

The floating body placed her feet onto the ground and moved closer to the kneeling man, and grabbed the man's chin and lifted it so she was looking the man in the eyes. "No, I will not return my son. You people abandoned him when he needed you most. Why should I return him to you?"

Kisuke answered, but what he said shocked the girl behind him. "I know that whatever I say won't change your mind, Amaterasu-sama. But at least allow me or my comrade give Ichigo his powers back." He showed the glowing blade to the goddess possessed youkai. "You see Amaterasu-sama. The Gotei 13 owe Ichigo much for what he did, and we all agreed that he should have his powers returned. So with the help of their spiritual pressure, I was able to make this. All for return Ichigo his power."

Kisuke watched as the goddess looked into his eyes, and after a few seconds, she dropped her chin and floated back to the throne. She sat down on the throne and looked down at the two. "I will give you permission to give my son his powers back." Kisuke released a sigh, but the goddess continued. "But. Only you will do it Kisuke Urahara."

The scientist nodded and waited for something to happen. But when nothing happened he looked up to the youkai. She started laughed. "You thought I would bring my son here? How foolish of you." The goddess looked to the girl. "Girl leave us!"

Kisuke listened as the girl flinched and got up and left. Urahara looked to the goddess and watched as she took a few breathes, and as she said. "Well it looks like my time, in this body is up." The colour in the youkai's eyes started to leave to returning it to the golden-yellow of the rightful owner. The goddess looked at the man and spoke her last sentence. "Kisuke Urahara you will be coming to Takamagahara to return my son's powers, but under no circumstances, will you open your eyes until I tell you."

The man nodded, bowed his head, and closed his eyes. "I understand Amaterasu-sama. I thank you for giving me this opportunity." The man then felt warmth around him, and then he felt himself being transported somewhere else. Somewhere that had great warmth and light.

Kisuke wanted to open his eyes but remembered what the goddess said and tried his best to keep them close. "Up Kisuke Urahara." A voice spoke out, a female one, that sounded similar to the one that echoed with the youkai. The scientist listened and got to his feet and then heard a door open, and then the voice again. "This way Kisuke Urahara. I know you're smart enough to walk around with your eyes closed."

With that, Kisuke followed the sounds of the footstep that were ahead of him, listening to his surroundings, and what was happening. He heard people greeting the person leading him, and how they all had a happy tone in their voice.

After minutes of walking, Kisuke heard another door opened, and the footsteps going into the room, he followed and once he entered he could hear light breathing in the room. The footsteps stopped, and he soon heard the voice once again. "You may open your eyes, Kisuke Urahara."

Said man slowly opened his eyes, bringing his hand up when the bright light landed on them. Everything was blurry at first but after seconds his vision started adjusting to the light, and now he could see the room more clearly.

Bringing his hand down from protecting his eyes, and looked to see he was standing in front of a bed. On that bed was an orange-haired teen, who was not moving, or asleep, he was laying down completely still, not a muscle moved.

It was obvious that the goddess was annoyed and impatient, for not a second later he heard the voice of the Goddess of the Sun. "Well get to it, Kisuke Urahara, give my son his powers back."

Kisuke nodded and moved to stand beside the bed to look down at the still body, and after a second he grabbed the glowing katana by the grip and moved it so that it right over Ichigo's heart, and without hesitating he pushed down, and watched as the blade pierced the boy.

The reaction was immediate for not a second later, Kisuke's eyes widened as he was thrown to knees by the amount of spiritual pressure that was leaving the boy's body. He slowly looked up and watched as the sword slowly disintegrated into thin heir.

This happened for a few more minutes and with each minute that went by the pressure was getting stronger and stronger, the pressure was making it hard for the scientist to breathe. But that all stopped during the 4th minute, where it completely vanished.

Kisuke slowly got to his shaky feet, for everything he planned, he wasn't suspecting that. He knew that Ichigo had great spiritual pressure, but never once did he think he would be affected by it. But that didn't change his mind about the young war hero. He and the Soul Society one him their lives, and one-day Kisuke plans on repaying the orange-haired teen.

"Is it done, Kisuke Urahara, has my son's powers been returned?" The voice of the goddess took him from his mind.

The scientist nodded, looked down at the motionless body, and when he did he immediately took notice of the glowing blue veins, and his eyes widened along the visible skin, and the reddish-black aura swarming around the teen.

Kisuke's eyes widened at the sight but before he could say a thing, he felt the warmth he felt when he came here and closed his eyes when a bright light appeared. When the light vanished he opened his eyes to find himself standing at the entrance to the forest.

"I thank you for giving my son his powers back. But that doesn't mean you can come by and act like we're friends. I haven't forgiven you for your crimes yet Kisuke Urahara." A voice spoke in his head, it was Amaterasu's voice. "Now leave, and never let me see your face again."

After that, the voice completely vanished and Kisuke made his way back to his van. When he got there he noticed that everyone was there… minus Tatsuki Arisawa. He immediately noticed the sad and hurt look on most of the teen's faces and the dried tears of a certain orange-haired girl.

Kisuke released a sigh and spoke. "Kuchiki, I want you to return to the Soul Society, and tell them that Ichigo Kurosaki has his powers back." The female nodded slowly. "But not only that. Tell them that the boy has gone into hidden and that if they try and find him, they will find themselves in a bigger rabbit hole than they thought they were."

Kisuke noticed the female nod again, and then the sound of a Senkaimon opening was heard. "Is that all Kisuke?" The lieutenant asked.

"Yes." He answered, and then the girl left. Kisuke then looked to everyone else. "Now into the van, we are leaving." Everyone nodded, and soon they all left the city.

Ichigo's Mindscape

Ichigo opened his eyes and found the sight of his mindscape. He didn't mind the change, and to be honest he didn't like the sideways city. Ichigo sat up and found forests again, and in the distance, he noticed the skyscrapers.

He looked around and he raised a brow when he noticed the giant chess pieces. 'What are they about?'

He got his answer from a voice behind him. "Those are one of the abilities I gave you when you accepted my powers." Ichigo looked behind him and found Lucifer standing there. "When you accepted my power, you gained my armour, Jigoku no Yoroi, and my sword, Jigoku no Ken."

Ichigo watched as the clothes on the man changed, and a glow started to emanate from the man. As the glowing dissipated Ichigo found the man in a suit he was familiar with, and a sword that the man was fighting him with. His eyes widened when he saw the armour.

The man grinned. "Ahh, you remember this armour. Good because now it's yours." Ichigo watched as wings grew out of the man's back. "Not only did you gain my armour, but you also gained the ability to fly, and my wings as well. To summon them I want you to close your eyes and imagine them on your back." Lucifer explained.

Ichigo did what he said and closed his eyes and imagine him having wings, and slowly he felt something on his back, and when he opened them he found ten leathery wings there.

"You are a fast learner, Ichigo." Said teen looked back to the man and found the armour gone along with the wings. "But not only did you gain those, but you also gain the abilities to control the Kushanadas, and the chains of hell, like the time you were in hell."

Ichigo nodded and asked. "Why are you telling me all of this?" He got to his feet and did the opposite of what he was told to have the wings appear.

The man nodded and smiled. "Because for the next day or so, you will be learning to wield my power." The man grinned and readied himself. "Now are you ready to face the Ruler of Hell?"

He didn't give Ichigo time to answer for the man charged at him, and an explosion happened when Lucifer's sword came in contact with the same sword but Ichigo's hand.

The Sevil looked into the teen's eyes and grinned. "Good. You are learning quickly. But you still have ways to go until you master my power." He backed away and vanished. Ichigo looked around trying to find the man. "And that is what we are doing." The man's voice came from above the teen, and then the training continued.

TBC

If you all are hoping to see Ichigo learn about his powers, well sadly if I wrote it, I would disappoint all of you, so I will not be writing the whole training sections.

I hoped you enjoyed the chapter and if you didn't or did, leave a comment on what you think. I read all my comments.

Also, I opened a poll on if I should give Ichigo, Rias and Akeno. The decision is in your hands.
