Welcome to chapter 6! I'm doing quite well this week, how about you? I found the ending of this chapter fun to write.

Summerween!
It has been a chaotic week with a hint of annoyance!
It started with Boss wanting to set up a fair to scam more money out of people. I helped him set it up along with my coworkers and the twins. Everything went great! Boss got a lot of money, I practiced a bit on my scamming skills by manning a stall of my own, with Boss' permission of course. I managed to win a prize for Mom too with the little help of my wonderful gift.
When I got home in the evening after the fair was over I noticed something strange, when I looked at my surroundings it was day again! I looked at myself and my gift was gone too! I ran back to the fair to realize that everything went back in time. I remember thinking how strange it was that I wasn't affected by the mysterious time travel that just happened.
What annoyed me about that entire chaos is that the day kept repeating itself until something changed. Mabel usually gets the pig, but one of the times she did something different and the pig ended with Pacifica. It led me to believe that maybe Mabel was to blame until Dipper appeared. That's when everything went bonkers. The area changed drastically. I saw dinosaurs, the Oregon trail, a normal version of the mystery shack (that part was interesting), a possible dystopian future with a flying baby, the fishing day that I didn't go to, the re-opening of the wax museum. It was a disgustingly long day for me.
A day within that same week, Dipper released a video game character from the arcade. That was the highlight of the week for me. I was quite pleased with the chaos that he ensued in the town.
Now summerween as the locals like to call it. Since Gravity Falls liked Halloween so much they decided to create another one during summer because one wasn't enough. Can't argue with that, it's the time of the year where I can cause chaos undisturbed since it's part of the holiday spirit!
This year's summerween I got invited to a party at Tambri's house. Wendy told me about it but I declined because I want candy this year! After work, I go to the Summerween Superstore to get myself the parts for a costume I got in mind. At the store, I find the Pines family with Soos. The twins are running around with a wheelbarrow, Soos is touching the talking skull, and Boss is getting barrels of the fake blood. They are too busy doing their things to notice me and I'm fine with that.
I get myself a vampire costume and a set of cat ears with a tail. After getting ready at home I pass by the Mystery Shack. I ring the doorbell before hearing the distinct voices of the twins coming to the door. Smirking I take off my sunglasses.
They open the door.
"Hello children," I make my voice sound sinister.
The twins let out a scream as they hug each other making me laugh.
I put my sunglasses back on, "What's up?"
Dipper places his hand over his heart, "I'm alive, I think."
Mabel looks at me in amazement, "Did you make that?"
"Got the parts at the store," I twirl around to proudly show off my costume masterpiece.
"Oh!" she squishes her cheeks, "You wanna come trick or treating with us?!"
Dipper opens his mouth to say something but I interrupt him, "Free candy? I'm in!"
He looks mildly shocked while Mabel is static.
"Come on in!" Mabel steps aside allowing me to go in.
I grin, "Why, thank you!"
Inside I take a seat on the stairs for maybe a chance to scare unsuspecting children that come knocking on the door. This day along with the original holiday allows me to take off my sunglasses without getting questioned about my eyes, even if it's for a short time.
In the living area, I hear Soos talk about the Summerween trickster.
"Oh yeah, that thing."
I've seen that revolting creature lurk during these holidays when I was a child. If I remember correctly, one time it tried to eat me because I threw away some candy I didn't like. I think I sliced its head off with my hand. That was probably around the time my powers became more prominent… either way it got scared and scurried away. It hasn't come close to me since then.
The doorbell rings and Boss calls from upstairs to give the kids the disgusting candy. Dipper goes to open the door and it reveals Wendy and Robbie. I walk up to them.
"Hey Lia," Wendy grins, "Nice costume!"
I smirk," Thank you."
Robbie scoffs, "Don't tell me you're going trick or treating with this kid."
I stand behind Dipper who looks nervous, "Yes, yes I am, a problem with that Valentino?" He looks like he's about to say something but I interrupt by turning to Wendy, "Would you like to join us?"
"It's alright, maybe next year," she leans into my ear, "Someone gotta keep this guy company at the party."
I shrug, "Alright, you're welcome to join us anytime."
She smiles, "Alright, see you guys later!" she and Robbi leave the shack.
"You really don't care about people thinking you're too old to trick or treat?" Dipper looks at me.
"Not really," I chuckle getting on one knee in front of him," Most of the people in this town do it regardless of their age," I ruffle his hair, "Valentino is just a sour puss, don't let him get to you."
He gives me a smile and nods before going upstairs.
"I believe I averted some possible chaos...what a shame."
Around a minute later a pair of girls come in. They are Mable's new friends Grenda and Candy.
"Heh, she sounds like a man."
Boss comes down in his costume of a vampire and Dipper a little after dressed as a peanut butter jar to match with Mable's strawberry jam jar.
"A bloodsucker, it makes sense."
"Alright children, let's get candy before all the good ones are gone," I clap to get the kids' attention.
As the kids go out Boss pulls me aside and speaks in a low voice, "Keep a close eye on them, will ya?"
"Of course," I nod, "and you better scare a few kids for me."
He laughs, "Of course, I am the master of fright after all!"
I grin satisfied. I follow the children out the door and off we go to get candy. In the distance, I see the trickster.
"You come near these kids, I'll put you back to where you came from!"
The night was a success for the kids. They got a lot of candy thanks to the twins' costumes. It was fun. I did see the trickster lurk by a few times.
After dropping off the kids at their houses I stop by the junkyard where all the hated candy gets thrown away the next day.
"Come out come out wherever you're!" I put my hands in my pockets as I hear rustling around me, "It's quite creepy to lurk around children and petty to eat them when they don't like you."
"What would you know?!" A voice rings out above me, "You're so loved by everyone!"
I laugh, "Humans may like me but I can't say the same about creatures like you," I look up to see the trickster's true face, "We meet again holiday nuisance," I take off my sunglasses and see its eyes widen.
It screeches in my face before trying to scurry away as it happened in the past except I grab its gross limb," Now now, what's the rush?" I pull it closer before my hand goes through its torso.
A psychotic grin makes its way to my face as I watch it try to get away from me.
"Your parents would be very disappointed in you!" it screeches.
I chuckle, "On contrary my dear fellow-creature," its inside start to glow, "My dad would be quite proud of me," from the inside I reduce it to nothing as it lets out its final screech," Don't ever try to terrorize the people of this town again," I dust off my hands before putting back on my sunglasses, "That's my job.
