*Yawn* So far it has been 4 days since I battled my first boss in this world, and since then I have been taking it easy for the most part by spending more time with the people that I care for and when I do go back down there it's mostly to try new things like two days ago.
"Okay now that I am down here again it's about time I test out that rage/berserker skill and see what could potentially trigger it to activate." I said out loud since I already cleared the zombies from this room.
"Now the system doesn't say how much is required to make it work, so I am going to have to think of a few things that might work for it." I said while putting a hand on my chin in a thoughtful look.
"Now the better question is who's memories should I use my past ones, or Uru's memories, or maybe both to push it over the edge if the first two don't work but might be a last resort." I said going over my options to see how to work this skill the best way possible.
I slowly breathe, as I close my eyes, getting a ping, however I ignore it, as I pull at my mind. My fingers twitch as I bring a memory from Uru's mind and personality. My body twitches, images of the men who took Uru from his parents, the rage beginning to fill me as my teeth start to grind together. My hands clench as my eyes shoot open, red filling my vision as I rush to a wall, almost roaring as I kick the wall. The ground cracks under my foot as I start savagely beating the stones of the mausoleum. I spend a good 30 seconds doing this before I pull out of the state, panting as there are several cracks in the wall.

"Damn that takes a lot out of me … 30 seconds minimum h-huh? That's at least expected when it comes to being taken from your parents." I mumble, breathing slower as I start to regain my magoi, waiting for a while as I sit against a wall. I then looked at a panel that opened when I had slowed my breathing.

I hum softly, looking at the spell with a bit of a wince. "Yeah … that'll help me increase my WIS. But at the same time, I'll have to use it outside of combat." I hum as I glance at my magoi, which is roughly full at this time. I breathe slowly as I stand back up, stretching a bit.
"Alright, let's try a less … drastic memory." I chuckle to myself as I close my eyes, feeling Meditation activate for a split second. Pulling a memory for my first life, though it's incredibly hazy as my eye twitches.
I was walking through my house … what style was it? I think an apartment … Damn I can't fully remember. I think I just got back from school, and while walking I walked into the table, stubbing my pinky toe. I wince, remembering the pain as I can feel the anger building up, but it slowly dies off.
"Ok … simple pain is not gonna be enough." I sigh and lean my head back, once again letting my mind look through my and Uru's memories.
Garo was the first thing that popped into my head. I growled as I could remember the amount of times he would whip me for no reason, the looks he had to the female slaves. I felt it activate, roaring as I attacked the wall again.
SP: 400 - 150 = 250
I pant regaining my mind as I slump onto the wall, dust and rocks scattered around me. I flex my arms and legs, feeling the stress of punching and kicking stones for almost 30 seconds. "Yeah, I'm gonna feel that in the morning … Is it possible to lock skills?"
While I'm talking to myself, I hear three pings.

I blink a few times as I see that, snorting to myself. "Well that answers it … I'll lock it when I finish up." I crack my neck, staring at the door in front of me heading in
I slowly get up from my spot in the cell, walking over to the door as a few other slaves walkthrough. I hum, walking to join as I see the usual courtyard. I haven't gone back down as I wanted to spend some time NOT covered in gore, especially after a long day of working in this place.
A few hours pass, before I start hearing yelling. I raise an eyebrow and start walking over, seeing … "How the hell do you guys stack that much marble in a single cart?" I state, as I see massive cubes of marbles stacked in a single small cart. The amount is almost reaching the top of the cave we all are in as I glare at a few of the older men. They shrink back as I huff, looking at the tower of stone.
"Even I have my limits guys." I groan as I go to the cart, kneeling down a bit as I grab the edge of the cart, bending the metal under the weight of the stone and my grip strength. I flex my body, hearing multiple pings as I pull the cart up. I groan and stumble slightly, my feet digging into the ground 'Is it too much for me?!' I stumbled some more before I could feel someone go to the other side of me.
"Steer clear idiots! I don't think I can handle this!" Suddenly, I felt the weight shift as someone across from me caught the other side of the cart. "Woah." With the help of the other person, together we took the cart out of the cave so that it could start being sorted.

'Well that makes sense. The strain carrying that was more than I've ever had.' I hum before I go around the cart, whipping my hands on the rags called pants. "Thanks for the help, you really saved a lot of people there mr-'' As I looked up to the person who helped me, I gasped, thanks to my memories.
"You're welcome. Honestly, you should be glad I showed up, Uru, someone could have gotten hurt." Kai laughs, his body shaking as I look at him. A former slave who managed to win his freedom, one who I had met when I was younger, stands in front of me, looking much older than I remember.
"Thanks Kai." I laugh softly as I rub the back of my head, looking at the older kid. 'Observe' I hum in my mind to activate the skill.

I snort inwardly, seeing his absurd stats. He was only two years older than me but he's heads and shoulders stronger than me.
Kai is about a foot taller than me with yellow hair at the base with red at the top that makes it resembles a flame,With charcoal black eyes that have a bit of gold in them,His hair is slit back with a single large fringe on his right side and a scar on his left eyebrow 'Looks like someone got a haircut, lucky bastard.' I thought to myself having not taken a shower in weeks plus with the same long red hair and fighting zombies makes anyone crave a good bath.
He wears a open black no sleeve vest with gold lining on the edges with red on the inside, white baggy pants with a red sash around his waist that also holds a broad sword, opened toed sandals, and to finish it off some fingerless gloves a metal shoulder pad on his left shoulder, and a metal collar around his neck with a chain that goes down to his stomach.
"So what are you doing down here? " I ask him because I have not seen him in a year or so after what happened the last time I saw him.
"I am here for extra protection after the Assassination attempt last week Mr. Cairn asked me to come since I have better senses than most of the guards here." Kai said to me telling why he is here.
'Huh I guess that would make sense, seeing as most of the guards that were nearby could not detect the Assassin let alone see him' I thought to myself mentally agreeing with that decision."Well better get going then. It was nice seeing you again, " Kai said as he turned around and started walking away.
"Oh before I forget I wanted to tell you something " Kai said before quickly turning around again, then walking back up to me and when he was close he put his right hand on my head and said "Good job by the way, I am proud of you hehehe keep up the good work." He said to me with a small laugh before walking away again.
"Oh and tell Noona and the old man that I said hi" Kai said while waving his right hand goodbye. I wave him bye, though I do shoot him a quick pair of middle fingers, which causes him to laugh loudly.
I hum as I continue to help move all the marble onto the inspection racks, before I notice the Cairns, who are doing their weekly inspection. 'Makes sense. If Kai's here as a bodyguard, of course they would be coming-' I jump as I feel a hand get put onto my back. I turn around, about to drop the block of stone as I see a pair of big emerald eyes staring up at me.
I stumble, slamming the pile of marble into the table as I look at the 'princess' of the Cairn house. I groan inwardly as she looks at the large pile of stone, and her eyes widen. "You're really strong."
"Thank you?" I question as Mobius approaches Cecilia, looking at her softly, though his eyes harden as he looks at me.
"I have mixed feelings about this, Cecilia. Besides, he earns us quite a lot of gold." As he talks, he turns back to his daughter.
"But daddy!" She turns back to her father as I try to move away, freezing as he looks at me. "He finishes up faster than everyone else and is strong! He saved me a few days ago." My eye twitches as I look for a way out, confused about what this spoiled brat is talking about.
"That is true … but he moves just as much material as he gets. If something like that happens again" He points at the still overflowing pile of marble in the cart and table "It will be a waste not to use him to the best of his abilities, maybe we could give him something instead like some hay or something" He said trying to persuade his daughter.
'You do know that I am standing right here right? Also instead of hay, can I get a large amount of soft cotton so I can make a bed cause I don't know how you people are but in my previous life there was a saying called 'sleep is life'. I grumble inwardly, as I let the pair continue talking, somewhat spacing out, before Cecilia grabs my arm.
"But he saved my life! Besides, he's better than most of the guards you stationed around my room!"
"How are you sure about that? Yes he was able to find the assassin first, but we have that Kai kid who can take care of anything like that." he says back to his daughter while grabbing my other arm.
'You know if someone said that I was going to be a human tug-a-war I would probably laugh in there face and probably say 'your crazy ' or 'not in a million years ' something like that but nope here I am and the bad part is that it's not two hot chick's that's doing it too *mentally sigh* one day maybe' I thought to myself and probably asking myself how do I get out of this,until I heard something that made my brain stop.
"But daddy! You said that I can have whatever I want and you know what I want,so why won't you just give it to me" she said while putting in more strength to pull but I'm not even paying attention. After all in my previous life, and I am going to be blunt but we humans are some dirty minded motherfuckers, so here I am with my mouth open looking at her, then at her father then back hoping it's a dream.
"Yes pumpkin I did say that, but you have to think about the company and everything that we do " He said trying to persuade his daughter to drop the idea and think of the future.
"No I want him and no one else, so let me have him" she said back to her father, but I am barely able to hear them cause I can almost hear 'sweet home Alabama ' in the distance, but thankfully I was to get my head back out of the gutter and hopefully I don't go back anytime soon.
'Please in the 72 demons of hell. Get me out of this mess, before my arms fall off ' I thought to myself starting to feel the pain from all of the pulling that she was doing to me.
Suddenly, my left finger twitches as both me and Kai seem to look at the same corner of the area. I manage to pull myself out of her grasp, grabbing a dart from the air, as Kai jumps out, chasing down another assassin as I scoff slightly. "Are you serious? It's barely been a week." I mumble, as Kai calls out to a few of the guards, though using my enhanced senses, I could see Garo with a look of hate on his face. I hum as my eyes narrow, before I feel the small pair of hands on my arm again.
"See daddy! He can protect me." Mobius has a look of contemplation on his face.
"I'm sorry my dear, I just don't know. Look, at least, let's put it on hold for now." He then looks at me with a harsh look before he pulls Cecilia away towards the rest of the guards.
I scoff and walk off, a scowl on his face. "At least I don't have to worry about that." I sneer as Borros laughs, coming up to me. "Oh laugh it up old man!"
"Oh why not? Seems someone has caught the attention of our dear 'princess'." he smirks as I can feel my face heating up before I scoff. "Shut up!" I grumble as he continues to laugh, my eye twitching because of this old coot. 'Someday I will give that old bag of bones a piece of my mind, if only I had a marker then you will see what I am capable of doing ' I thought to myself already thinking of different pranks to pull on him. I then shake my head and sigh out, rubbing my temples.
"Why is she like that?" I mumble to myself mostly, though I'm pretty sure I know the reason as Borros laughs.
"I think she's taken a liking to you." I groan as the old man answers, as I lightly hit his side. He simply laughs louder as I go over to another cart, picking it up. "You could use that." He states, though mostly mumbles. I look at him from the corner of my eye.
"And leave you and Noona? Without me, the two of you may very well starve. Besides I bet she just wants me to carry all her books or something dumb like that." I make a small face as Borros just sighs, which I raise an eye out.
"Boy, you're only 8! You shouldn't be down here. You should be out in the world doing something in the world." He continues, as I almost scoff, as he keeps talking. "I've seen a lot when I was a merchant, and strong people like you have more than a right to be something big. Just like young 'un Mu from Reim. I remember seeing him and his old man fighting in the arena." He starts to laugh softly.
"Maybe, but there's no way I can change my position so easily."
"Ah, but young Kai over there did."
"That's because he was in the coliseum with those weird gladiators." I scoff slightly, as my memories shift to the Yambala Gladiators, though the images are hazy from my time reading the manga. "Besides you heard the 'master'" I scoff as I look at Borros. "He won't let me free since I can earn him so much." I then start transferring the marbles, sighing as I set down another massive block.
"You do have a point … still it's a fine goal to have." And as he says that, I chuckle inwardly, glancing at the blue panel.

I snort, seeing the absurdity of the quest. 'Mandatory huh? Guess I have no choice but to go for it.' I sigh and kneel down, picking up another cart, carrying it to Borros, though I can see a somewhat pissed off Garo in the corner of my eye. I flinch as he hits my back with the whip, though it surprisingly doesn't do any damage.
"Hurry up! We still need another ton of that marble, and with those assassins they get in the way." He states, though I could tell by how he's carrying himself, he's more frustrated than annoyed. I simply raise an eyebrow at him, before turning my attention to carrying more marble, my back flexing a bit as I hold it.
A few hours pass, before I huff, secretly moving towards the normal entryway, trying to take my eyes off of everything that happened earlier. 'Why did she have to get so focused on me?!' I continue ranting my head as I reach towards the glowing crack, before jumping as I feel a hand on my shoulder.
"What are you-?!" The voice says as we're dragged into the mausoleum, as I trip slightly. I groan, having another body on top of me as I huff a bit.
"Dammit … what are you-?!" I look at the person laying on me, as my eyes widen slightly. "Kai?!" Said boy gets off me, stretching a bit as he glares at me.
"Where are we, Uru?" Kai glares at me, his sword on his hip as I stand up, dusting myself off.
I huff a bit, trying to think about what to do, but I know I can't overpower Kai. "This'll take a bit to … explain. Just keep your mind open alright."
He looks at me for a few seconds before nodding his head. "I trust you just … explain please."
So I gave him the rundown, explaining about my powers, though abridging it to the point so he doesn't suspect I know more about it. I then explain the dungeon itself, and how much I've gotten down to.
"And then that hulking monster, threw me into a pillar and destroyed it in a second." I sigh and rub my head. "Let's just say, I got lucky in surviving." I look at Kai and freeze up, as a scowl adorns his face as he rubs his temples.
"So that's why I'm getting a different aura from you." Speaking matter of factly, Kai sighs and looks down the vast stairs under us. "So you're telling me that this entire thing is filled with a bunch of the undead?"
"Yeah." I nod my head and sigh, rubbing the back of my neck. "They're easy to kill, as they're only level 5, but there's usually so many of them that it takes a while to kill them."
"And your stats? They can raise by doing things?"
I nod my head as I chuckle a little. "Thanks to that over-filled cart, I ended up getting 4 more points into my strength stat." He then sends me another glare as I jump slightly.
"That's bullshit … I worked hard to get as strong as I am, and in such little time you're approaching it."
"Not really." I point out as I sweatdrop slightly. "You're still 17 levels over me with almost triple my strength stat as is. Besides, I've been at this for two months and I've only gained 6 levels." He just continues to glare before standing up and stretching a bit.
"Then how about I give this a shot?" He gets a smirk on his face, pointing down the stairwell.
"Wait really?" I look up at him, and snort. "Alright … though I want to try something." And as he gains a confused look on his face I state. "Send Kai an invite to Party." Suddenly he jumps, as a small blue panel appears before him.
"Uhm … Uru Fanalis has invited you to a party …" I laugh as he awkwardly reads it, auto translating.
"Hit yes." I snort as I then look at a sidebar appearing with his stats under mine, as he looks in the corner of his vision.
"This is … new." He grumbles, obviously confused as I instruct him to open his stats, his eyes widening as he looks it over. "This is rather interesting. Though … I don't fully get how it works." He tilted his head to the side as I laughed.
"I get that feeling." I hum and look at a small notification.

Since there's more than a 10 level difference between party members, EXP cannot be shared.
I sigh inwardly, as I look at it. 'I guess it can't be like pokemon. Then again … this is about making me stronger.' I look at Kai and stand up next to him. "Let's go down, it's about time we test our skills.
I huff as I look at Kai, who has a wide smile on his face, his sword shining with his magoi. "You look like you're having fun." I comment as the last zombie falls, with that I glance at him as he laughs out.
"Yeah, these things are weak but for once I can use my full strength." Together we laugh at that, though I glance at the massive gashes in the wall. 'Such power.' I wonder if I can get to it as he moves to the boss door, looking up at it.
"You think we can take it? Like the other boss you took care of?"
"Probably? I mean it's supposed to be 5 levels higher than the last, and you're almost double that so." I shrug as I approach the door, touching it, as I push slightly.

Though others can enter this dungeon, the Boss room is held exclusively for 'The Gamer'.
I blanche at the bluntness as Kai looks at me confused. "Dammit, it looks like you can't enter the boss room, only I can because I have these 'weird powers'' I tell him while giving him some jazz hands at the end.
"Damn it, I was hoping for a good workout and finally let loose like when I did a 100 man battle royal. Man that was fun. Also: 1st weird yes. 2nd nobody does that you know" he said to me at first disappointed then rambling about the past, followed by giving me a hard look.
"W-Wait a minute you did a 100 man battle royal " I stuttered while looking at him surprised at what he said. "Oh yeah, it was one of the criterias for me to go free, but instead of everyone going for the closest person there they decided to jump on me for some reason, I don't know why probably because I was the smallest one there so they thought I was easy picking for them. Who knows?" He said with a strug of his shoulders.
'OR they knew that you were the most dangerous one there, that if they didn't go at you with large numbers it was going to be a slaughter fest' I thought to myself with a large sweat drop on my head.
"So instead of it being a 100 man battle royal it became something I like to call a 100 man battle rush where I face all 100 of them by myself, but that was when I was a little bit smaller and a lot more wild than I am today. Heck it was when I was half as strong then my current self, but it was as well as when they betrayed me." He remembered his past before he touched his scar and released a small amount of blood lust.
When Kai released his blood lust even though it was for a few seconds I felt something that I have not felt in a long time; absolute FEAR. Every part of my body, no, my very being shouting/screaming at me to either kill it over and over again, getting louder every second, or to run and to keep running like my life depends on it. And in that brief moment I saw a giant red lion with fire-like aura colored blood red with a black outline, pitch black eyes with sharp teeth growling at me ready to attack at a moment's notice.
When he finally got his bloodlust back under control, I dropped to the floor instantly panting while holding on to my heart, sweating from every part of my body. It was so bad I didn't even hear Kai talking to me or the multiple notifications popping up.
*Pant* *Pant**Gasp*
'What was that? It was so strong and powerful that I was literally shaking. It was like Death himself unleashed a monster, getting ready to send me to eternal damnation for all eternity. Hell, it cut right through Gamer's Mind' I thought to myself, scared out of my mind still, I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Uru" Kai shouted, placing his hand on my shoulder but as soon as he did I quickly crawled back looking at him in pure fear and terror, and I knew that when he looked at me he gave me a look like he has seen that look before he puts his head feeling ashamed of what he did.
"I'm sorry, you shouldn't have seen that," Kai said barely a whisper, so even I could barely hear it, slowly getting back to normal.
I watched as Kai turned to the side and let his back hit the still locked boss room door, then he put his sword down on the ground before he put his right hand on his head, sighing in frustration.
After a few minutes of utter silence I finally decided to ask Kai what was that,but before I could say anything he said "I know that you have questions for me, and I know that you are feeling scared right now, but I can't tell you at least not all of it. After all there is a reason that I kept my past secret, not even the old man knows about my past."
Gulping down some saliva I asked him "Then what can you tell me then, cause if you can't tell me all of it right now then I would like to know sometime in the future then."
*Sigh * "I can do that much at least, and I will someday " Kai said before he let his head back looking at the ceiling thinking of what to say to me, and after what felt like hours but instead it was just a few minutes before he decided to speak.
"You know that I am half Fanalis right, I was born to a human mother and my father was a Fanalis, well the problem is. I don't know how to fully control my strength. Us Fanalis, even half, have so much more strength then the common person,
"According to some of the old men that I grew up with, I was just too unstable inwardly to do any real bonding. So sorry about that." Kai said, giving me a little long explanation as to what happened before he apologized to me.
*Sigh * "You know that if I was someone else or didn't have my abilities I would have ran away but I won't not now not ever I got your back if you got mine. "I said what I thought, giving him a grin and sticking my fist out to him.
Kai looks at me for a bit before giving me a grin and fist bumps me then says "Yeah I got your back, I will help you anyway that I can to the best of my ability." After that we both get off the ground feeling better. He then spoke up, looking at my somewhat shorter form. "Though I have to ask, why aren't you using a weapon? I'd think that'd help you out like it does with me."
I simply shrug and sigh softly. "Weapons break easier in my hands … I have no clue why." I sigh as we continue to walk up the stairs as I get a serious look on my face. "Since I have your back … I have to ask one thing."
He raises an eyebrow at that. "What do you need?"
"Help me … I want to become free, but I'm going to need some help in getting there." His eyes widen as I say that, before smirking.
"Of course, what do you need?"
"I have a suspicion of who is sending the assassins at Cecilia." He just nods with a sigh.
"I do too, but I doubt we can say anything, the guards don't respect me."
"Then terrify the assassins." I smirk, as he blinks a few times at me. "It can force them to reveal their contractor." Kai thinks for a moment before nodding his head.
"Yeah I can probably do that, as long as something doesn't really happen." I nod my head, as we continue up. Though, I could feel it, the winds of fate and the wings of the Rukh fluttering more.

It's done my lads, lassies or whatever you identify as! How do you guys like chapter 4? Adding a new character and all that. I know it had a bit of an expo-dump at the end but … I have no justification XD.
