Chapter 7! According to my planner for this fic, there are only a few chapters left for this season! This one is mostly summaries of a few episodes that I felt didn't have a whole lot of content to put Aurelia in nor I felt they would have been fun for me to write.

Hectic Weeks

It has been a questionable two weeks at best. First Mabel became the boss for 72 hours due to a bet with Boss. Begrudgingly went to the pool with the Pines family and Soos where I saw a merman. Went underground with the family to rescue Mabel's pig, Waddles, that was taken by something and found dinosaurs engulfed in tree sap possibly conserving them.

The bet of Mabel being boss for 72 hours came from Mabel arguing with Boss about the way he runs things in the shack. In my honest opinion, I don't mind how he runs things. So Mabel became the boss. It was a horrendous idea, while yes it was chaotic but it was also frustrating. I smacked Wendy's friends with a broom for dirtying the store. Don't get me wrong they are relatively nice but they got in the way of me making a living!

The day goes relatively well until Wendy's friends arrived. They made a mess of the place. Trash everywhere.

I take a deep breath before I get angry and lose control. If I lose control the end result won't be pretty to those who get involved, speaking from experience.

I see a soda can get hurled in my direction but I catch it before it hits my face, "Wendy either leave with them for the day or I will kick them out by force."

Wendy gives me a small smile," Come on, we're just having fun."

"Fun huh?" giving the whole group a blank look, "Then you wouldn't mind if I have some fun myself," brandishing the broom as a weapon I start smacking the boys of the group.

"Hey, what are you doing?!" Nate yelps after getting smacked by the broom.

"I'm just having fun," Smirking I point the broom at Tamri, "if you don't want to join go outside!"

They all scramble to get outside trying to get away from the broom smacking. My smirk widens watching them scramble away.

Mabel frowned upon my behavior so as an apology she gave Wendy the rest of the day off, it was a terrible mistake on her part. Boss asked me to keep an eye on the kids to keep them from doing anything that may kill them. I thought that would have been an easy job but Dipper proved me wrong by getting a real attraction for the tourist which was a gremloblin, a hybrid of a gremlin and a goblin. The monster stayed until morning because we couldn't really do anything, I definitely couldn't without revealing myself. Mabel saw that it was gonna eat all the measly earnings from the day before and charged towards it but I pulled her back before she would do something stupid. I went out instead.

"Hey mutt," I stood casually in front of it, "Get out before I make you."

It growled at me and the moment the eyes start to shine I take out my compact mirror reflecting the look back which made it run away through the wall screeching destroying the pole outside when it started flying. It made me wonder what it saw.

In the end, Mabel put on her big girl pants and started barking orders to others. We managed to earn a lot but technically in terms of actual total it had one dollar since the shack had to be repaired and things had to be replaced. Boss lost due to messing up on the double or nothing of Cash Wheel which ended in Mabel winning the bet. Boss had to dance to an apology song made by Mabel. It was hilarious.

The pool visit was relatively uneventful. It was too hot that day and the pool opened to the public so the family wanted to go and the twins wanted to invite me. On another occasion, I would have said no but Mom in a moment of lucidity she insisted on me going to have fun.

What's so fun about being inside a large body of water with the possibility of being drowned or things grabbing your legs unsuspectingly.

At the pool, I saw a weird-looking kid at the deep end. Mabel instantly noticed him as well and it was love at first sight for her like always. Soos told her to run to the guy and she did. Soon after Dipper joined Wendy as the lifeguard assistant. I stayed as far away from the water as I could. In the distance, I saw Boss getting into an argument with that fraud Gideon.

The day after that was somewhat the same, the Pines invited me to the pool except the twins dragged me that time. Mabel seemed to have gotten awfully close to the strange kid who I suspected of being a merman. Boss came up to me at some point to ask me to break into the pool at night to get the lounge chair he wants ahead of time. I told him I would help him break in but I wouldn't go in with him. He was fine with that.

We successfully broke into the pool, Dipper who was in charge of the patrol that night saw us but couldn't stop us. I stayed outside as I said I would. It seemed like Mabel also broke in. She distracted Dipper before taking off in the golf cart with a cooler in the back. In the end, I found out that what she smuggled out of the pool was that strange kid that was actually a merman.

The weirdest adventure out of the three was the visit to the underground where we found dinosaurs. Without any permission, Mcgucket followed us. We found him at an abandoned church where the red string from Waddle's sweater led us to. The place seemed to have been a mine of some kind. At the sight of the sap engulfed dinosaurs, Boss revealed what really happened which made Mabel upset on top of that Dipper and Soos fought about Soos being irresponsible. The only person who didn't look like a ticking time bomb of emotions that I could have a conversation with was McGucket.

Long story short we found Waddles and apparently the thing Dipper and Soos were trying to take a picture of a good chunk of the morning. We found Waddles in its nest. Mabel rushed to him without any hesitation. We all chased after her into the nest. Really bad idea that was. In the midst of all that dangerous chaos, McGucket turned to me to say that I reminded him of an old friend of his but couldn't remember that friend either just that I reminded him of that friend. I found that weird but not the weirdest thing I've been told.

Waddles ran away the moment the pterodactyl screeched. He ran into Boss who fell onto the railway when suddenly the dinosaur swooped in on them destroying the railway and making Boss fall into a pit along with the pig. Soos came up with a way to get away from the baby dinosaur that was born during that mess and ate McGucket as well. We saw Boss ride who I assumed was the mother of the baby and punched her until she fell. He showed Mabel her pig then at that moment the mother climbed back up. We all ran. We used the geyser to get back up to the surface. Everyone made up in the end.

I couldn't help but feel like something was coming, something big.
