Getting Back The Shack!

I open my eyes to see everything is grey like it was in Boss's mindscape except this looks different. My house is here and a few things from my childhood are scattered all over the place.

"This is my mindscape," I look around before feeling a familiar presence, "I know you're here," I chuckle," Old man."

A tall man with black well-kept hair wearing a white dress shirt with a gray vest on top, black dress pants, black dress shoes, and yellow gloves appears in front of me. I grin as he opens his eyes to look at me. Those yellow cat-like eyes that resemble my own.

"Cheeky kid," he smirks before ruffling my hair, "My little wild card has grown up so much," he starts circling me," Aside from the eye color you look so much like me."

I touch my face, my sunglasses are missing.

"Interesting."

I look up at him, "What brings you into my mind?"

His face gets serious, "Waking you up."

My eyes widen as my surroundings change to a birds-eye view of a hospital room with me laying on a bed with a bandaged arm and hooked to a heart rate monitor along with an IV fluid bag.

"If you want to get your safe haven back from that short stack you have to wake up now," he crosses his arms," Don't worry though it's only been a day," he gets a solemn look on his face, "How is Angelica?"

I run my fingers through my hair before sighing, "Mom is slowly losing her mind, can't remember most of her day anymore."

He sighs, "I warned her about having an extended connection with me."

I chuckle, "You know she's stubborn."

He lets out a small laugh before running his fingers through his hair, "Yeah," he turns to me, "Now let's wake you up, but before that, give your old man a hug," he spreads his arms.

I raise an eyebrow at him," That's so unlike you."

He gives me an annoyed look, "Do it before I change my mind."

I laugh before hugging him.

He pushes me back softly, "Wakey wakey!" he claps his hands.

I wake up with a jolt sitting on the hospital bed wide-eyed.

"That was cool!"

Suddenly the door opens and in comes my doctor. Doctor Santos is a basilisk, (if you're thinking about that giant snake that can kill people with a look, you would be right.) She was handpicked by my dad when Mom found out she was pregnant with me or so Mom tells me. Doctor Santos has known me for years and has helped Mom with information on how to take care of me.

"I see you're awake," she smiles at me, "I'll give you a quick check-up then you can be on your way," something occurs to me as panic begins to rise but before I could open my mouth she speaks, "I've already informed your mom of your whereabouts, don't worry."

I calm down.

"She must be worried."

After an hour of her checking every vital and making sure I was fine she lets me go.

"First gotta see Mom then get breakfast."

I pass by my house and I'm greeted by Mom at the door.

"My darling!" she pulls me into a hug, surprising me.

"She's active today."

"Are you alright?" She checks me all over frantically.

"I'm fine, Doctor Santos made sure before letting me go," I chuckle before hugging her tightly," I'm sorry for worrying you."

She caresses my head, "Do try to not do anything dangerous, I know you're strong, but still."

I nod," I'll be careful."

I let her know that I finally met him which made her happy then started making my way to Greasy's diner for some breakfast. I wanted to take her with me but she assured me that she had already eaten.

"Yeah her paranoia was kicking in from just being at the door."

I walk into the diner to see Boss sitting at one of the stools. I sit next to him.

"So it's true then that toddler took the shack," I fix my sunglasses.

His head snaps towards me shocked, "Aurelia, you're out of the hospital!"

I scoff smirking, "I can't be put down for long," that made him smile a little.

"I had to be wakened up otherwise I would have been out for longer but I can't say that."

He chuckles before sighing, "Yeah, that Gideon took the deed to the shack in that explosion."

I nod, "What's gonna happen to the kids?"

"They're going back to California in the afternoon," he mumbles sadly, "Without the shack, I can't take care of them and Soos's house isn't exactly good for five people all summer."

I look ahead of me to see Soos trying to put out a fire in the kitchen, "Yeah, I understand."

In the afternoon I go to the bus terminal to say goodbye to the twins but I don't want to show my face so I stay in the shadows, watching them get in the bus to leave Gravity Falls. I can't help but shed a few tears, I got attached to those kids. I stay at the bus stop for a few minutes when suddenly I hear loud footsteps in the distance. I look up to see a giant robotic Gideon running in the direction of the bus.

"What does that rat want now?!"

I sprint after it.

"I can't catch it at this human speed," I growl using my powers to speed up even more.

When I arrive I see the robot holding the top part of what I assume is the bus. I run to the door of the bus to see Soos frantically looking through a manual.

"Soos where are the twins?!" I get his attention.

"Oh you're alive," he starts to ramble.

"Not the time, where did they go?" I interrupt his rambling, he points towards the bridge and I look to see the robot holding Mabel, "That rat!"

Suddenly I see Dipper jump towards the robot surprising me. The robot goes crazy as the head spins before falling over the bridge. I feel panic and anxiety begin to rise.

"They're gonna die, how do I help?! No, I can't, I'll reveal myself!"

I hear the twins scream.

"No more hiding!"

I take a running start before jumping to catch them. With my powers and the power of gravity, I catch up with them. I take them in my arms and stay in the air before shielding them from the bright light of the explosion. After everything calms down I come down safely landing in a clear area near the destroyed robot and setting the kids down.

"Are you alright?" I get down to their eye level checking for injuries.

They look at me surprised, especially Dipper.

"Lia you're okay!" Mabel hugs me.

"Wha… how… we were in the air," he tries to make sense of what happened before gasping, "Your eyes!"

I touch my face, sunglasses gone.

"Must have been the explosion."

"I'll tell you everything once this is over," I stand up.

"I'll have to admit though, that was cool," he smiles slightly before kicking a piece of metal over and finding his journal, "Oh hey my journal."

A police car shows up greatly annoying me.

"Great."

I take out a spare pair of sunglasses from my pocket. Gideon comes out of the robot and the lanky policeman lifts him up praising heaven that he was okay.

"I would much rather he disappeared."

The rat accuses the twins of attacking him and destroying his statue with dynamite. I step in front of the twins to put more distance between them and the police. Suddenly Boss swerves in with his car shouting that he got something to say. He runs in basically calling everyone an idiot for believing in Gideon before kicking a large piece of metal attached to the robot making it fall revealing several mini televisions stack upon each other showing the many residents of the town.

I smirk, "Well would you look at that."

The town gasps turning to Gideon who is starting to panic. He gets arrested, Boss gets his deed back, and everything is back to normal...well as normal is it can be with Boss basking in the glory of being a hero.

I sit down with the twins outside after they were done playing around with Soos and finally tell them about my powers.

"That's so cool!" Mabel is giddy at the news.

Dipper is a little confused, "You were born with these powers?"

I nod chuckling, "Considering who my dad is it makes sense."

"Oh, who's your dad? Have we met him?" Mabel gets even more excited.

"Oh, you have," I stroke my chin before laughing a little, "Not the best first introductions for him though."

The twins look at each other.

"Please tell me it's not one of the gnomes," Dipper grimaces.

I laugh, "Worse," I take off my sunglasses, " My full name is Aurelia Cipher."

Yes, Bill is going to be different compared to the show otherwise nothing I got planned would make sense and I gave him my own version of what his human form would look like because I could. Don't worry he's still the same insane sadistic psychopath in the end.
