Chapter 83
Kate was still hugging the toilet when everyone was finished eating and ready to go.
"I'm sorry, guys. I'll just be another minute." Kate apologized from the other side of the door. "I can't imagine that I could do anymore."
"Kate, honey, this is nuts. You should not be trying to go on a muster today," replied Russell.
"I love mustering and the team needs me," argued Kate.
"Kate, you can't go more than ten minutes without vomiting. How on Earth are you going to ride for hours? You'll be trying to puke on horseback surrounded by sheep. You'll just be miserable. Stay home, go to sleep, or help Meg with Katie, but don't go on the muster," urged Russell.
"Damn it, Russell. Why do you always have to be so right? Yeah, yeah. You're right. I can't help anyone if I can't even let go of the toilet. I'll stay here. You can tell the gang so they can adjust their plans," said Kate.
"I'm sorry, honey. I wish I could be sick instead of you. I hope you are able to keep some food down. Your energy levels must be dropping really low," said Russell.
"Have fun on the muster, honey. I'll see you when you get back."
Russell opened the bathroom door to see his wife kneeling in front of the toilet. He bent down and gave her a big kiss on the lips.
"Gross. How can you still want to kiss me?" asked Kate.
"I'll always want to kiss you baby. I love you! Bye! Feel better!" said Russell as he went to join the rest of the crew.
