Chapter 128
Tess walked up to Finn. She was so happy he was there, with her family, with her.
"Do you mind if I steal him away?" Tess said to the other men Finn was sitting with.
"Of course not. He's all yours. Glad you made it here safely, mate." replied Matt. shaking Finn's hand.
Finn stood up. "It was nice to meet all of you." Finn said.
"Finn, the lottery mate, don't forget," Dylan said as he shook Finn's hand.
"Trust me, I won't forget." said Finn as he shook Bobby and Ben's hands.
He walked away with Tess.
"What was Dylan talking about? I hope he wasn't giving you too hard of a time. Dylan is a good bloke, but he can be a bit of a joker," Tess warned.
"Oh no, he was just giving me some advice." Finn explained. "Dylan seems like he's a good guy."
Tess looked up at Finn. "I still can't believe you're here, and that you're real." Tess put her hands on Finn's chest. "And that you drove all the way from Adelaide to be here for me."
Finn pulled her into his arms so her cheek was on his chest. "Tess, I told you, I will go to the moon and back for you. I love you."
"I love you too. This week has been crazy. I feel like I've known you for years, but it's only been about a week. How does that happen?" wondered Tess.
"I don't know how it happened, but I feel like I've known you for years too. I can't imagine not knowing you." Finn ran his hand through Tess's hair. "I can't imagine being anywhere other than right here with you," he said.
"I don't want to be anywhere else. I just want to be with you," said Tess.
