Crying, my eight year old daughter follows me to the car. "Daddy, please don't go" she begs me. "I have been offered a dream job. I am not leaving you permanently" I lie to Alexandra. "I hope you are not leaving because of Alex's heart condition" Joy's voice trails off. "I am not leaving because of that" I lie again.
