Hello nyall! How are you doing? It's Saturday and it's time for a new story, yaaay!

Enjoy Dearly Beloved!

"Sorry I'm late!" Xehanort was panting, exhausted from the long flight of stairs he had rushed climbing. Vor was staring at him, pouting. Bragi was grinning as usual. Urd was leaning against a tree, her arms crossed, her face unreadable. And Hermod welcomed him with a warm smile. Xehanort smiled at them. His family.

"Come on, Vor, don't tell me you're actually mad? Look, I brought flowers!"

She glared at the flowers for as long as she could before the corners of her lips started twitching and she burst into laughter.

"Of course I'm not mad, silly! I'm glad you came. But I lost my bet to Bragi, though, and now I have to call him Lord Bragi for the whole day…"

"We placed a bet on who would come first between Eraqus and you," the redhead explained with a mischievous snicker.

"Speaking of him, do you know if he'll be joining us?" Urd enquired quietly, looking around for their friend.

"Oh, absolutely!" Xehanort nodded. He had things to see with his father, but he'll be there shortly. He wouldn't want to miss out on a day with everyone, especially you, Vor." He winked at the little girl who frowned, understanding he was making fun of her.

"It's a beautiful day," Hermod noted, looking at the sky. "A shame we can't go shopping or anything, it would have been fun."

"I miss visiting the city," Urd nodded.

"We'll go another day!" Xehanort offered, smiling. Urd sighed, nodding again.

"So tell us. What's new? Did something happen in class lately? Give us the gossip, man!" Bragi's eyes were practically sparkling at this point. He loved meddling with other people's life so much that even when he couldn't mess with them directly, he counted on his friends to tell him everything he'd been missing on. Xehanort rolled his eyes before chuckling.

"Well, where should I start then?"

They chatted for a long time, exchanging rumours, laughing about old stories, until Xehanort heard some footsteps behind him. He'd recognise them anywhere.

"There you are, Eraqus! What took you so…" Looking at his friend's face, Xehanort stopped talking mid-sentence. Eraqus was standing very still, his face pale, dark circles under his eyes, his cheeks hollow, confusion and sadness painted all over his face.

"Xehanort? What are you doing?"

"I was about to tell them about how you wore your pants inside out for a whole day a couple of days ago. Come and sit with us?"

"Them? Us? Xehanort… Are you okay?"

Xehanort tried to look back at his group of friends, to tell them that Eraqus had definitely lost it. But when he turned his face to them, there wasn't anyone to look back at him. Gone was Vor and her cute pouts, Bragi and his cool smiles, Urd and her calm aura, Hermod and his warm eyes. There wasn't anyone, but stones with names. And dates. The first date differed from one stone to another, but they all shared the second one. Xehanort looked at the flowers in his hand. One for each of them.

Eraqus put a hand on his shoulder.

"I miss them so much, Eraqus."

"Me too, my friend. Me too. But it's time to let them go."

Never again would they go shopping or visiting the city. Xehanort dropped a flower in front of each tombstone, tears flowing freely down his face.

It was time to let them go.

Dearly Beloved... More like DeaDly Beloved, amiriiiite ? HAHAHA I'm hilarious

Anyway it was time for something bittersweet so here it is! 3 days that weren't exactly angsty, you should have seen that coming. Not Angsty Tory is suspicious.

Tomorrow's theme is "Here comes the boy". And despite what I just said, no angst scheduled there!
