Chapter 141
"Alright, do we have everything?" Russell asked.
"You've got the drone, the remote, back up remote batteries, a car converter to charge the batteries, and I packed the little tool kit you put together. I also brought three packets of twisties, two boxes of maltesers, and a packet of chicken chips, but that's all for me. You should bring a snack with you if you need it." said Kate.
"I've got a granola bar in this pocket." Russell replied pointing to his left hip, "and a banana in this pocket, because I'm always happy to see you, Darling!" Russell pointed to his right hip.
"Haha, you're such a comedian." Kate rolled her eyes, but then looked at his right hip which had half an actual banana sticking out of the pocket. "Oh, you really do have a banana in your pocket. Well played Mr. Kaits."
"You know what, I'm gonna grab that extra monitor. I can hook it up so all of you don't have to crowd me and look over my shoulder at the tablet screen. Although I wouldn't mind if you did," said Russell.
"Good idea. I don't want to share you with Regan or Grace or Dylan. I'll throw a few camping chairs in too, so we can get comfy," said Kate.
"Okay, I've got the monitor, and the cords I need to hook it up, and the supply power. We are ready to go."
"You don't have to go. We like it when you're here." Ben said to Jaz's cousins as he cooked breakfast.
"I know we don't have to go, but mate, go have a romantic morning with your girl. You pulled off something incredibly romantic and beautiful yesterday. Now go enjoy it's results. Bring her breakfast in bed, give her a massage, take a bath together, whatever, I don't want details, but go seduce your fiance and make her feel special. Make both of you feel special," Dylan said.
"Yup and we have our niece, so no toddler distractions either," Grace said while holding Kelly.
"We've got everything we need for her, including her favorite stuffed monkey. We are ready for a few hours of droning in the countryside with our beautiful niece," Regan cooed.
"I am Moana!" announced Kelly. "The ocean chose me for a reason."
"Now, thanks for breakfast, but we are out of here, and mate, if you're not both glowing when we get back, you've done it wrong." Dylan smiled at his soon to be brother in law.
"Okay, okay. Have fun, call if you have any trouble." Ben put a breakfast plate together for Jaz. He had turned off her alarm so she could sleep in. He put the plate on a tray with a cup of coffee and a glass of orange juice. He started up the stairs to surprise Jaz in bed."
