Chapter 150

"Well, we're here." Claire said as she dismounted Parker at the gate that connected Killarney and Drovers Run.. She now regretted riding so fast.

"Yeah, I guess we are here." Blake said glumly as he jumped to the ground.

"I'm going to miss you. I'm glad we got to hang out and get to know each other better while you were here though," Claire said brightly.

Blake grabbed both of her hands. "I'll be back for the next school holiday, it's only a few months away. I hope we can go riding again. I'm going to text you sometimes too."

"Yeah, hopefully the next time won't result in anyone bleeding. I hope your nose doesn't hurt too badly. I'm really sorry." said Claire.

"It's okay. It was worth it to have you kiss me. I'd get punched in the face if it means you'd kiss me again." said Blake.

"Well, you could just kiss me the next time, and not get punched or hit at all."

"Can I?" asked Blake.

"Yes. Can't you tell I want you to kiss me?"

"No. I wasn't sure. I didn't want to make you feel uncomfortable."

"Well, I do want you to kiss me," said Claire.

"Um, Now?"

"Well you're going away in a few minutes, so I would say now is good."

"Okay, then, are you ready?"

"Yes, I'm ready.

Blake finally kissed her on the lips. He lingered longer than Claire had. He moved his hands from being intertwined with Claire's to wrapping them around her shoulders. He ended the kiss, smiled at Claire, whose eyes were still closed, and went in for a second one, but opened his mouth this time. Claire kissed him back the same way.

"Wow." said Blake, thinking he would have to thank his brother for the tips on kissing.

"Yeah. Wow." replied Claire.

"I guess I'll go now. Thank you Claire for today. I'll miss you," said Blake as his heart was racing.
