FORWARD

This was an idea that has undergone some discussion between myself and contributors for a while now, and I'm very happy it is finally being launched. Vivat asked if I'd be interested in having some one-shots written about my ongoing XCOM series, and I obviously said yes to that, and it is one of those which this will be launching with. There are a few more that will likely be added in the future, but what those are and how often I cannot say. This will be a primarily community contribution, with authors taking characters or situations they want to write about, and putting together a short story.

I do not know how much I will personally add to it, as I have the main series to focus on, but there are a lot of great writers out there, and I hope this collection highlights their talent. All published entries here are considered canon, and reviewed by myself and several of the editors on my team for consistency.

If anyone reading this is interested in writing a specific character or situation, feel free to let me or Vivat know (she's taking point on this little project), and we'll be happy to work with you. Doesn't matter how much or little experience you have, it can definitely be turned into something great.
