Meanwhile Bonnie, Tan, Deac and Annie set up one of the tables with all the Goodluck and Farewell stuff. Hondo and Luca arrived shortly after and once the whole team was there, Hondo wolf whistled to them.

"Heya, get on over here you big kids." The team had stood in front of the table and hid the cake and decorations. They both took the hand of a child and walked back to the group.

"Glad to see your having fun," Hondo teased ribbing Street slightly.

"Always." He smiled and nudged him back.

"Okay okay, but we ah, we need you here so that we get the chance to make today a bit special." Hondo paused and smiled back at the others. "We," He motioned around him, "need to wish you," he said pointing at Street as the team stepped apart,

"Good luck and Farewell." They all called and clapped.

"Wait? What?" Street laughed as he looked at the cake, balloons, and banner and then back to all of them. "When did you all plan this?" He looked at Chris who smirked, "Oh that 'errand'." He nodded, tapping his finger against his nose. "Well done." He laughed as she reached her arm around his waist. He smiled down at her and kissed her forehead. "Thank you." He whispered. She gave him ad smiled and wink back and then motioned for him to cut the farewell cake.

Soon, all of 20 David and their partners and kids were enjoying cake and laughing as they shared memories of Street and his time as 26 David. Chris smiled fondly watching it all. She knew part of her would miss this version of 20 David, but she also knew that the new life she and Jim were beginning to build was going to be amazing too.

As the afternoon started to wind down, Chris enjoyed a quiet moment with Street under the trees. They sat side by side watching the scene as people began to leave.

"You are amazing you know. All of that..." He gestured back to the picnic table and smiled as he leant into her side. She flicked her eyes across to him as she traced her fingers on his.

"Thanks," she laughed a bit. "But we couldn't let you move off 20 David without a farewell so to speak."

"As long as YOU know you're not getting rid of me that easily." To which she laughed and rested her head on his shoulder.

"No chance of that." She smiled as he kissed the top of her head.

"Street, one more run?" Samuel called from the grass. "You too, Aunt Chris?" He pleaded stepping closer to look at Chris with puppy dog eyes as he tossed a football in his hands.

Street smiled and nudged her, "Come on Miss Alonso, Girls Vs Boys." He declared with and eyebrow wiggle as the Kay children cheered and grabbed their friends.

"Oh really?" She laughed as he pulled her up, tugging her against him and kissing her lips hard.

"Yeah, if it gives me an excuse to tackle you to the ground and lay on top of you," He smirked, making her shake her head and thump his arm as he began to turn and jog to the group of boys.

Chris was still shaking her head at him when the group of girls led by Lila approached her.

"So, Aunt Chris, what's the plan to smash those boys." Lila said excitedly, slapping her fist against her palm with serious eyes.

"Well," Chris laughed crouching down as they gathered in a huddle. The girls were taking this seriously, so Chris laid out a plan of attack and smiled standing up to see Street still huddled with his team, giving a hand in the middle "Let's GO!" chant.

Soon, her and Street were engaged in a very cute, but serious game of football with around 15 kids. They made quiet the commotion in the middle of the park, as Lila passed the ball to her friend, dodging Matthew with an artful sidestep, and then called for the ball back as she sprinted to the end of the field scoring a touchdown. The roaring and cheering from the mums and the girls made Jared and Caitlin stop chatting to watch.

Jared smiled softly seeing her laughing and looking happy. As Street jogged over and playfully taunted her, Caitlin watched Jared. He felt her eyes on him and glanced at her.

"What?" He queried as she shook her head, he knew what Caitlin was thinking and he added. "I am just happy that she is really happy."

"You sure? I mean, No regrets?" Caitlin asked sounding nervous. Jared turned to her and swept her up in his arms,
"Not one. I have you back in my life and we have our real second chance at being happy." He kissed her softly.

Soon the parents were calling their kids and it was coming on dusk. Chris waved to them all and helped them celebrate their victory against the boys as she saw Street smiling at her.

"What?" She asked, "You still jealous a bunch of girls beat you?" She teased. He shook his head and pulled her into his arms with a laugh.

"No, I was actually thinking how damn lucky I am that you gave me a chance." She looked up to him and his eyes danced with hers saying so much. "I love you, Chris." He finished moving his hand to her cheek.

She smiled widely and nuzzled a little into his warm touch. "I love you too! And I am lucky as well. You are pretty amazing you know." And with that he picked her up kissing her.
