ACT IV: THE CRADLE OF THE WORLD
One of the greatest enigmas shrouded in history is none other than Sithis himself. Not many languages are well versed in his story, but they do know his name. They know the way he arrives as well, in the dead of night when one sleeps, and quiet footsteps roam the halls. The Dark Brotherhood is the harbinger for his arrival. Once one crosses the veil into the Void, there are whispers that they are lost to a realm not even Mehrunes Dagon would roam.
What way could one describe the Void as nothing more than complete deprivation? No light, no sound, no touch, no way of knowing your orientation in the world.
It is a land fraught with energy and the potential for creation. But how did such a thing come to be? Scholars have taken a painstakingly long amount of time to come to that conclusion. It is still debated sometimes to this day.
Before the dawn of man, an ancient shadow ruled all. Two divine beings sat at the crux of the world, Padomay and Anu. Both brothers intertwined by fate but separated by their opposing natures. When their hatred became too much to bear, they engaged in combat, spilling one another's blood. When it mixed, they gave birth to the Aedra. Separately, Padomay's blood alone birthed the Daedra.
After such a battle, Anu birthed his soul, Anui-El, to self-reflect on his shortcomings. Not to be outdone, Padomay birthed his soul to complement and make good of Anui-El's failures. Sithis is the name of that soul. With both existing among the stars, they birthed the rest of the universe known as Aurbis. Scholars might say that Sithis is not the same as a daedra, and they are correct. He is all that they wish to be, their creation. No one has dared challenged something like him. How could one win against a godlike being that is as unkillable as it is necessary for life itself?
And thus, the Void remains to swallow the world whole.
